In this note, we generalize the inequality about the trace of positive semidefinite matrix trk(AB)?k(trA)k(trB) to Hilbert space, and obtain a relevant inequality about positive trace class operator.

In this work a formula for the second regularized trace of a self adjoint differential operator which is given in a finite interval and with bounded operator coefficient was found.     

A trace formula of a boundary value problem for the operator Sturm-Liouville equation

We obtain a regularized trace formula for the operator Sturm-Liouville equation with a boundary condition depending on a spectral parameter.     

The self-adjointness conditions for a higher order differential operator with an operator coefficient

Certain sufficient conditions are found for self-adjointness of the differential operator generated by the expressionl (y)=(–1) ⁿ y ²ⁿ +Q (x)y, – <x <, where Q(x) is for each fixed value of x a bounded self-adjoint operator acting from the Hilbert space H into H, and y(x) is a vector function of H₁ for which .Translated from Matematicheskie Zametki, Vol. 5, No. 6, pp. 697–707, June, 1969.     

Calculation of eigenvalues of a discrete self-adjoint operator perturbed by a bounded operator

We generalize the method of regularized traces which calculates eigenvalues of a perturbed discrete operator for the case of an arbitrary multiplicity of eigenvalues of the unperturbed operator. We obtain a system of equations, enabling one to calculate eigenvalues of the perturbed operator with large ordinal numbers. As an example, we calculate eigenvalues of a perturbed Laplace operator in a rectangle.     

On invertible contractions of quotients generated by a differential expression and by a nonnegative operator function

In the present paper, we describe invertible contractions of the maximal quotient generated by a differential expression with bounded operator coefficients and by a nonnegative operator function. We show that the operators inverse to such contractions are integral operators and prove a criterion for such operators to be holomorphic. Using the results obtained, we describe the generalized resolvents of symmetric quotients.

研究了无界上三角算子矩阵的可逆性问题,运用线性算子的近似零空间给出了无界上三角算子矩阵可逆的充分必要条件,运用近似零空间的概念给出了斜对角元有界非负Hamilton算子可逆的充分必要条件,进而推广了俄罗斯学者Kurina给出的对角元有界非负Hamilton算子可逆的充分条件。     

The norm of a composition operator with linear symbol acting on the Dirichlet space

We obtain a representation for the norm of a composition operator on the Dirichlet space induced by a map of the form φ(z)=az+b. We compare this result to an upper bound for ‖Cφ‖ that is valid whenever φ is univalent. Our work relies heavily on an adjoint formula recently discovered by Gallardo-Gutiérrez and Montes-Rodríguez.     

Nonlinear second order differential inclusions with a series of convex functions

In this paper, we study a class of second order differential inclusions attached to which the convex potential varies depending on the time, and the boundary conditions are described by the subdifferentials of convex functions. Applying the theory of lower semicontinuous, convex and proper functionals, and fixed points, we give some results about the representation of the subdifferential operators of some convex functionals and the existence of solutions for the boundary value problems.     

The Fredholm index of a second order elliptic system on an infinite cylinder

This paper investigates the Fredholmness of a second order elliptic system on an infinite cylinder in various weighted or non-weighted Sobolev spaces, assuming homogeneous Dirichlet boundary conditions and suitable asymptotic behavior of the coefficients. It is shown that the index coincides with the spectral flow of an associated parametrized family of elliptic systems on the cross-section of the cylinder. Dependence or independence of the index upon the functional setting is discussed along with their impact on spectral invariance and elliptic regularity.      

The regularized trace of a linear ordinary differential operator with polynomial coefficients on <Emphasis Type="Italic">l</Emphasis><Subscript>2</Subscript>(−∞, +∞)

Regularized trace formulas for a class of linear ordinary differential operators on the real line with polynomial coefficients are obtained.
