We prove that a certain sequence of τ-functions of the Garnier system satisfies Toda equation. We construct algebraic solutions of the system by the use of Toda equation; then show that the associated τ-functions are expressed in terms of the universal character which is a generalization of Schur polynomial attached to a pair of partitions.  相似文献

We make a detailed analysis for an integrable quintic polynomial potential. By Benenti’s approach the second integral is derived, which ensures integrability. The type of separable coordinate and coordinate transformation are deduced according to a recently established systematic procedure. Bi-Hamiltonian and Lax representations are also obtained. At last we realize that it is the quintic analogue of classical Hénon–Heiles cubic system (case 1:3) and a quartic system (case 1:6:1). Another generalization is also performed.  相似文献

We continue the study of the quantization of supersymmetric integrable KdV hierarchies. We consider the N=2 KdV model based on the sl(1)(2|1) affine algebra but with a new algebraic construction for the L-operator, different from the standard Drinfeld-Sokolov reduction. We construct the quantum monodromy matrix satisfying a special version of the reflection equation and show that in the classical limit, this object precisely gives the monodromy matrix of the N=2 supersymmetric KdV system. This paper provides a new integrable hierarchy. The DP equation: m t +um x +3mu x =0, m=uu xx , proposed recently by Degasperis and Procesi, is the first member in the negative order hierarchy while the first equation in the positive order hierarchy is: m t =4(m –2/3) x –5(m –2/3) xxx +(m –2/3) xxxxx . The whole hierarchy is shown Lax-integrable through solving a key matrix equation. To obtain the parametric solutions for the whole hierarchy, we separately discuss the negative order and the positive order hierarchies. For the negative order hierarchy, its 3×3 Lax pairs and corresponding adjoint representations are cast in Liouville-integrable Hamiltonian canonical systems under the Dirac–Poisson bracket defined on a symplectic submanifold of R 6N . Based on the integrability of those finite-dimensional canonical Hamiltonian systems we give the parametric solutions of all equations in the negative order hierarchy. In particular, we obtain the parametric solution of the DP equation. Moreover, for the positive order hierarchy, we consider a different constraint and process a procedure similar to the negative case to obtain the parametric solutions of the positive order hierarchy. In a special case, we give the parametric solution of the 5th-order PDE m t =4(m –2/3) x –5(m –2/3) xxx +(m –2/3) xxxxx . Finally, we discuss the stationary solutions of the 5th-order PDE, which may be included in the parametric solution.  相似文献

In this letter, a new auxiliary function method is presented for constructing exact travelling wave solutions of nonlinear partial differential equations. The main idea of this method is to take full advantage of the solutions of the elliptic equation to construct exact travelling wave solutions of nonlinear partial differential equations. In this paper, an extended simplest equation method is proposed to seek exact travelling wave solutions of nonlinear evolution equations. As applications, many new exact travelling wave solutions for several forms of the fifth-order KdV equation are obtained by using our method. The forms include the Lax, Sawada-Kotera, Sawada-Kotera-Parker-Dye, Caudrey-Dodd-Gibbon, Kaup-Kupershmidt, Kaup-Kupershmidt-Parker-Dye, and the Ito forms.  相似文献

With any Lie algebra of Laurent series with coefficients in a semisimple Lie algebra and its decomposition into a sum of the subalgebra consisting of the Taylor series and a complementary subalgebra, we associate a hierarchy of integrable Hamiltonian nonlinear ODEs. In the case of the so(3) Lie algebra, our scheme covers all classical integrable cases in the Kirchhoff problem of the motion of a rigid body in an ideal fluid. Moreover, the construction allows generating integrable deformations for known integrable models.  相似文献

We present a Lax pair for the field elliptic Calogero-Moser system and establish a connection between this system and the Kadomtsev-Petviashvili equation. Namely, we consider elliptic families of solutions of the KP equation such that their poles satisfy a constraint of being balanced. We show that the dynamics of these poles is described by a reduction of the field elliptic CM system.We construct a wide class of solutions to the field elliptic CM system by showing that any N-fold branched cover of an elliptic curve gives rise to an elliptic family of solutions of the KP equation with balanced poles.  相似文献

Korteweg-de Vries (KdV)-type equations can describe some physical phenomena in fluids, nonlinear optics, quantum mechanics, plasmas, etc. In this paper, with the aid of symbolic computation, the integrable sixth-order KdV equation is investigated. Darboux transformation (DT) with an arbitrary parameter is presented. Explicit solutions are derived with the DT. Relevant properties are graphically illustrated, which might be helpful to understand some physical processes in fluids, plasmas, optics and quantum mechanics.  相似文献

We construct hierarchies of commutative Poisson subalgebras for Sklyanin brackets. Each of the subalgebras is generated by a complete set of integrals in involution. Some new integrable systems and schemes for separation of variables for them are elaborated using various well-known representations of the brackets. The constructed models include deformations for the Goryachev–Chaplygin top, the Toda chain, and the Heisenberg model.  相似文献

By using a general scheme for decomposing a zero-curvature equation into two commutingx- andt n -finite-dimensional integrable Hamiltonian systems (FDIHS), a systematic deduction of the Lax representation for all constrained flows of the AKNS hierarchy from the adjoint representation of the two auxiliary linear problems is presented.
