This paper concerns with the statistical methods for solving general linear systems. After a brief review of Bayesian perspective for inverse problems,a new and efficient iterative method for general linear systems from a Bayesian perspective is proposed.The convergence of this iterative method is proved,and the corresponding error analysis is studied.Finally, numerical experiments are given to support the efficiency of this iterative method,and some conclusions are obtained.  相似文献

A two-step iterative scheme based on the multiplicative splitting iteration is presented for PageRank computation. The new algorithm is applied to the linear system formulation of the problem. Our method is essentially a two-parameter iteration which can extend the possibility to optimize the iterative process. Theoretical analyses show that the iterative sequence produced by our method is convergent to the unique solution of the linear system, i.e., PageRank vector. An exact parameter region of convergence for the method is strictly proved. In each iteration, the proposed method requires solving two linear sub-systems with the splitting of the coefficient matrix of the problem. We consider using inner iterations to compute approximate solutions of these linear sub-systems. Numerical examples are presented to illustrate the efficiency of the new algorithm.  相似文献

We consider solving the unconstrained minimization problem using an iterative method derived from the third order super Halley method. Each iteration of the super Halley method requires the solution of two linear systems of equations. We show a practical implementation using an iterative method to solve the linear systems. This paper introduces an array of arrays (jagged) data structure for storing the second and third derivative of a multivariate function and suitable termination criteria for the (inner) iterative method to achieve a cubic rate of convergence. Using a jagged compressed diagonal storage of the Hessian matrices and for the tensor, numerical results show that storing the diagonals are more efficient than the row or column oriented approach when we use an iterative method for solving the linear systems of equations.  相似文献

This paper discusses the accelerating of nonlinear parabolic equations. Two iterative methods for solving the implicit scheme new nonlinear iterative methods named by the implicit-explicit quasi-Newton (IEQN) method and the derivative free implicit-explicit quasi-Newton (DFIEQN) method are introduced, in which the resulting linear equations from the linearization can preserve the parabolic characteristics of the original partial differential equations. It is proved that the iterative sequence of the iteration method can converge to the solution of the implicit scheme quadratically. Moreover, compared with the Jacobian Free Newton-Krylov (JFNK) method, the DFIEQN method has some advantages, e.g., its implementation is easy, and it gives a linear algebraic system with an explicit coefficient matrix, so that the linear (inner) iteration is not restricted to the Krylov method. Computational results by the IEQN, DFIEQN, JFNK and Picard iteration methods are presented in confirmation of the theory and comparison of the performance of these methods.  相似文献

Implicit iterative method acquires good effect in solving linear ill-posed problems. We have ever applied the idea of implicit iterative method to solve nonlinear ill-posed problems, under the restriction that α is appropriate large, we proved the monotonicity of iterative error and obtained the convergence and stability of iterative sequence, numerical results show that the implicit iterative method for nonlinear ill-posed problems is efficient. In this paper, we analyze the convergence and stability of the corresponding nonlinear implicit iterative method when αk are determined by Hanke criterion.  相似文献

Based on the HSS (Hermitian and skew-Hermitian splitting) and preconditioned HSS methods, we will present a generalized preconditioned HSS method for the large sparse non-Hermitian positive definite linear system. Our method is essentially a two-parameter iteration which can extend the possibility to optimize the iterative process. The iterative sequence produced by our generalized preconditioned HSS method can be proven to be convergent to the unique solution of the linear system. An exact parameter region of convergence for the method is strictly proved. A minimum value for the upper bound of the iterative spectrum is derived, which is relevant to the eigensystem of the products formed by inverse preconditioner and splitting. An efficient preconditioner based on incremental unknowns is presented for the actual implementation of the new method. The optimality and efficiency are effectively testified by some comparisons with numerical results.  相似文献

研究一类线性不确定系统的鲁棒D型迭代学习控制问题.首先针对一类线性标称控制对象,建立其迭代学习控制的二维模型;然后基于获得的二维模型,利用二维系统稳定性理论,获得系统在迭代初态与期望初态一致和不一致两种情形下的D型迭代学习控制律的存在条件和设计方法;进一步,将所得结果推广至控制对象包含不确定性的情形.所得结果以线性矩阵不等式(LMI)的形式给出,可以方便地利用Matlab中的LMI工具箱求解.最后,数值仿真实例验证了本文所提方法的有效性.  相似文献

Two kinds of iterative methods are designed to solve the linear system of equations, we obtain a new interpretation in terms of a geometric concept. Therefore, we have a better insight into the essence of the iterative methods and provide a reference for further study and design. Finally, a new iterative method is designed named as the diverse relaxation parameter of the SOR method which, in particular, demonstrates the geometric characteristics. This paper discusses finite element discretization and preconditioning strategies for the iterative solution of nonsymmetric indefinite linear algebraic systems of equations arising in modelling of glacial rebound processes. Some numerical experiments for the purely elastic model setting are provided. 基于共轭梯度法的思想,通过特殊的变形,建立了一类求矩阵方程AXA^T+BYB^T=C的双对称最小二乘解的迭代算法.对任意的初始双对称矩阵.在没有舍人误差的情况下,经过有限步迭代得到它的双对称最小二乘解;在选取特殊的初始双对称矩阵时,能得到它的的极小范数双对称最小二乘解.另外,给定任意矩阵,利用此方法可得到它的最佳逼近双对称解,数值例子表明,这种方法是有效的.  相似文献

This paper is concerned with the linear approximation method (i.e. the iterative method in which a sequence of vectors is generated by solving certain linearized subproblems) for solving the variational inequality. The global convergent iterative process is proposed by applying the continuation method, and the related problems are discussed. Conjugate-gradient acceleration provides a powerful tool for speeding up the convergence of a symmetrizable basic iterative method for solving a large system of linear algebraic equations with a sparse matrix. The object of this paper is to describe three generalizations of conjugate-gradient acceleration which are designed to speed up the convergence of basic iterative methods which are not necessarily symmetrizable. In this paper we construct a few iterative processes for computing {1,2} inverses of a linear bounded operator, based on the hyper-power iterative method or the Neumann-type expansion. Under suitable conditions these methods converge to the {1,2,3} or {1,2,4} inverses. Also, we specify conditions when the iterative processes converge to the Moore-Penrose inverse, the weighted Moore-Penrose inverse or to the group inverse. A few error estimates are derived. The advantages of the introduced methods over Tanabe's method [16] for computing reflexive generalized inverses are also investigated.  相似文献

This paper deals with discrete monotone iterative algorithms for solving a nonlinear singularly perturbed convection–diffusion problem. A block monotone domain decomposition algorithm based on a Schwarz alternating method and on block iterative scheme is constructed. This monotone algorithm solves only linear discrete systems at each iterative step of the iterative process and converges monotonically to the exact solution of the nonlinear problem. The rate of convergence of the block monotone domain decomposition algorithm is estimated. Numerical experiments are presented.  相似文献

For solving nonsymmetric linear systems, the well-known GMRES method is considered to be a stable method; however, the work per iteration increases as the number of iterations increases. We consider two new iterative methods GGMRES and MGMRES, which are a generalization and a modification of the GMRES method, respectively. Instead of using a minimization condition as in the derivation of GGMRES, we use a Galerkin condition to derive the MGMRES method. We also introduce another new iterative method, LAN/MGMRES, which is designed to combine the reliability of GMRES with the reduced work of a Lanczos-type method. A computer program has been written based on the use of the LAN/MGMRES algorithm for solving nonsymmetric linear systems arising from certain elliptic problems. Numerical tests are presented comparing this algorithm with some other commonly used iterative algorithms. These preliminary tests of the LAN/MGMRES algorithm show that it is comparable in terms of both the approximate number of iterations and the overall convergence behavior.
