High-spin levels in Ce and Nd isotopes excited by the reactions 120,122Sn(16O, 3n) 133, 135Ce and 122, 124Te(16O, 3n)135, 137Nd have been studied by in-beam γ-ray spectroscopic methods (prompt and delayed spectra, excitation functions, angular distributions and γ-γ coincidences). Bands built on the 112? isomeric levels in 135Ce and 137Nd and on the 92?ground states in 133Ce and 135Nd have been found. A prolate deformation is required for these nuclei in order to explain the E2/M1 mixing ratios and the level ordering of these bands.  相似文献

Nonlinear optical absorption properties of silicate glasses doped by the PbS nanocrystals were investigated by means of the picosecond pump-probe absorption spectroscopy and absorption bleaching technique. The glass samples were used as saturable absorbers for passive mode-locking of Nd:YAG and Nd:glass lasers. Application of the PbS doped glass together with the active mode-locking and laser cavity quality control enabled the stable of generation of 28 ps and 5 ps duration pulses in Nd:YAG and Nd:glass lasers respectively. Amplified spontaneous emission spectra and light amplification spectra of some Nd3+:glass rods (silicate glass Schott LG680, phosphate glasses Schott LG760 and Hoya LHG5) are measured by pulsed flashlamp excitation. The spontaneous emission distribution, the stimulated emission cross-section spectra and the excited state absorption cross-section spectra are extracted. Excited state absorption prevents laser action around 1320 nm for the4F3/2-4L13/2 transition of Nd3+ in the investigated glasses.  相似文献

The absorption and luminescence spectra of borate, phosphate, and silicate glasses and their dependence upon the activator concentration and the temperature were studied. The luminescence mechanism was investigated. The spectra were analyzed, taking into account the composition and structure of the glasses. The term scheme of the trivalent terbium in the glasses was constructed. The absorption and luminescence of glasses activated with holmium were studied at room temperature and at low temperatures in the region of 4300–30 000 cm–1. Using the position of the absorption and luminescence bands, the energy levels and the transition scheme were plotted for the trivalent holmium ion in glass. The influence of the glass composition, of the activator concentration, and of the temperature upon the shape, position, intensity, and lifetime of the 5000 cm–1 band (5I75I8) were studied. From the temperature dependence of this band, the scheme for the splitting of the (5I7 and (5I8 holmium levels in glass was obtained.In conclusion, we express our thanks to P. P.
