This contribution is to report the application of simple lanthanide amides [(Me3Si)2N]3Ln(μ-Cl)Li(THF)3 exhibiting a high activity toward catalyzing Henry reaction of aromatic aldehydes with nitroalkanes to give β-nitroalcohols or β-nitroolefins with a very good chemoselectivity by controlling the reaction temperatures and by selecting aromatic aldehydes. It was found that this catalytic system was compatible with a wide range of substrates of aldehydes.  相似文献

With the purpose of developing a method of preparing Z-alpha,beta-unsaturated amides, the Peterson reaction of the (triphenylsilyl)acetamide Ph(3)SiCH(2)COX (1, X = NBn(2); 3, X = NMe(2)) with various aldehydes was examined. The reaction of aromatic aldehydes gave selectivities up to >97:3. It was found that the selectivity was a function of the electronic nature of the aromatic ring and higher Z selectivity was attained with electron-rich aldehydes. With aliphatic aldehydes selectivities up to 92:8 were achieved, and unlike with analogous phosphorus reagents, less sterically hindered aldehydes gave higher Z selectivity. Also, 3, which has a smaller amide group than 1, tended to give rise to higher selectivity. A comparison with the reaction of trimethylsilyl analogues revealed the significance of the phenyl substituents on the silyl group.  相似文献

Amidation of aldehydes with lithium amides through the LnCl3-catalyzed Cannizzaro-type reactions afforded a variety of amides in high yields. The electronic and steric effects on the reaction were investigated. The features of the economical catalysts, high yields, tolerance of a wide range of lithium amides and aromatic aldehydes make this methodology an easy and valid contribution to the direct synthesis of amides from aldehydes.  相似文献

A mild method for the reduction of amides to aldehydes using 1,1,3,3-tetramethyldisiloxane/titanium(IV) isopropoxide reducing system is described. The reaction occurs under mild conditions and allows the reduction of aromatic as well as aliphatic, tertiary amides to the corresponding aldehydes, in good yields. This methodology was extended to the reduction of aromatic secondary and primary amides to the corresponding aldehydes.  相似文献

The development of catalysts capable of catalyzing amidation of esters with amines to construct amides under mild conditions is of great importance. Compared to aliphatic amines, the direct catalytic amidation of esters with less nucleophilic aromatic amines is rather difficult. Employing simple lanthanide tris (amide) complexes Ln[N (SiMe3)2]3(μ-Cl)Li (THF)3 as the catalysts, it was found a broad range of aromatic amines and esters were efficiently converted into various amides in good yields under mild conditions. A plausible mechanism for this transformation was experimentally supported as starting from an amide exchange reaction between the lanthanide tris (amide) complex and the substrate amine.  相似文献

Primary aromatic amides can be synthesized from aldehydes and hydroxylamine hydrochloride in the presence of Cs2CO3. Various aromatic aldehydes (include some heteroaromatic aldehydes) are able to generate the corresponding aromatic amides in moderate to excellent yields.  相似文献

A highly efficient method for the synthesis of α-hydroxy phosphonates via lanthanide amides [(Me(3)Si)(2)N](3)Ln(μ-Cl)Li(THF)(3) catalyzed hydrophosphonylation of aromatic aldehydes was developed. The reactions produced the products in excellent yields in the presence of 0.1 mol % [(Me(3)Si)(2)N](3)La(μ-Cl)Li(THF)(3) at room temperature within 5 min. The existence of LiCl in the catalyst was a key factor affecting the catalytic activity. The mechanism for the process of high efficiency was proposed.  相似文献

Tetracoordinated lanthanide amides [(MeaSi)2N]3Ln (μ-C1)Li(THF)3 (Ln=La (1), Pr (2)) were synthesized by the reaction of anhydrous lanthanide(Ⅲ) chlorides LnCl3 (Ln=La, Pr) with 3 equiv, of lithium bis(trimethylsilyl)amide (Me3Si)2NLi in THF, followed by recrystallization from toluene. Sublimation of 1 and 2 afforded the triscoordinate lanthanide amides [(Me3Si)2N]3Ln (Ln=La, Pr). The crystal structure of 2 was determined by X-ray diffraction analysis. The catalytic activity studies show that the tetracoordinate amides can be used as single-component MMA (methyl methacrylate) polymerization catalysts, while the triscoordinate amides showed poor activity on MMA polymerization under the same conditions.  相似文献

Two series of new lanthanide amido complexes supported by bis(indolyl) ligands with amino-coordinate-lithium as a bridge were synthesized and characterized. The interactions of [(Me(3)Si)(2)N](3)Ln(III)(μ-Cl)Li(THF)(3) with 2 equiv of 3-(CyNHCH(2))C(8)H(5)NH in toluene produced the amino-coordinate-lithium bridged bis(indolyl) lanthanide amides [μ-{[η(1):η(1):η(1):η(1)-3-(CyNHCH(2))Ind](2)Li}Ln[N(SiMe(3))(2)](2)] (Cy = cyclohexyl, Ind = Indolyl, Ln = Sm (1), Eu (2), Dy (3), Yb (4)) in good yields. Treatment of [μ-{[η(1):η(1):η(1):η(1)-3-(CyNHCH(2))Ind](2)Li}Ln[N(SiMe(3))(2)](2)] with THF gave new lanthanide amido complexes [μ-{[η(1):η(1)-3-(CyNHCH(2))Ind](2)Li(THF)}Ln[N(SiMe(3))(2)](2)] (Ln = Eu (5), Dy (6), Yb (7)), which can be transferred to amido complexes 2, 3, and 4 by reflux the corresponding complexes in toluene. Thus, two series of rare-earth-metal amides could be reciprocally transformed easily by merely changing the solvent in the reactions. All new complexes 1-7 are fully characterized including X-ray structural determination. The catalytic activities of these new lanthanide amido complexes for hydrophosphonylation of both aromatic and aliphatic aldehydes and various substituted aldimines were explored. The results indicated that these complexes displayed a high catalytic activity for the C-P bond formation with employment of low catalyst loadings (0.1 mol?% for aldehydes and 1 mol?% for aldimines) under mild conditions. Thus, it provides a convenient way to prepare both α-hydroxy and α-amino phosphonates.  相似文献

A facile method for the direct synthesis of amides from aldehydes is described. Amide bonds were synthesized by an oxidative amidation in the presence of dibromoisocyanuric acid (DBI). Treatment of aromatic and aliphatic aldehydes with dibromoisocyanuric acid generated acyl bromide intermediates, which were employed to react with a variety of secondary and primary amines to give amides. Through this reaction method, various amides were synthesized directly from aldehydes under mild conditions in high yields and short times. This facile and efficient procedure provides potential strategy for the direct synthesis of amides from aldehydes.  相似文献

The oxidation of N-alkylamides by O(2), catalyzed by N-hydroxyphthalimide (NHPI) and Co(II) salt, leads under mild conditions to carbonyl derivatives (aldehydes, ketones, carboxylic acids, imides) whose distribution depends on the nature of the alkyl group and on the reaction conditions. Primary N-benzylamides lead to imides and aromatic aldehydes at room temperature without any appreciable amount of carboxylic acids, while under the same conditions nonbenzylic derivatives give carboxylic acids and imides with no trace of aldehydes, even at very low conversion. These results are explained through hydrogen abstraction by the phthalimide-N-oxyl (PINO) radical, whose reactivity with benzyl derivatives is governed by polar effects, so that benzylamides are much more reactive than the corresponding aldehydes. The enthalpic effect is, however, dominant with nonbenzylic amides, making the corresponding aldehydes much more reactive than the starting amides. The importance of the bond dissociation energy (BDE) of the O-H bond in NHPI is emphasized.  相似文献

Electrophilic alkylation of colchicine at C(4) was accomplished by a multicomponent aromatic electrophilic substitution reaction with electrophilic aldehydes and carboxylic acids or amides in H2SO4. A series of new derivatives were obtained and evaluated for their antiproliferative effect towards various tumor cell lines, and their stimulatory effect on the development of polarity in human neutrophils.  相似文献

A highly enantioselective intramolecular Stetter reaction of aromatic and aliphatic aldehydes tethered to different Michael acceptors has been developed. Two triazolium scaffolds have been identified that catalyze the intramolecular Stetter reaction with good reactivity and enantioselectivity. The substrate scope has been examined and found to be broad; both electron-rich and -poor aromatic aldehydes undergo cyclization in high yield and enantioselectivity. The tether can include oxygen, sulfur, nitrogen, and carbon linkers with no detrimental effects. In addition, the incorporation of various tethered Michael acceptors includes amides, esters, thioesters, ketones, aldehydes, and nitriles. The catalyst loading may be reduced to 3 mol % without significantly affecting the reactivity or selectivity of the reaction.  相似文献

An enantioselective Friedel-Crafts alkylation with alpha,beta-unsaturated 2-acyl imidazoles and electron-rich aromatic nucleophiles catalyzed by bis(oxazolinyl)pyridine-scandium(III) triflate complexes has been accomplished. These alpha,beta-unsaturated 2-acyl imidazoles are effective electrophiles for the Friedel-Crafts reaction. The resulting adduct 2-acyl imidazole is easily converted to amides, esters, carboxylic acids, ketones, and aldehydes by methylation and subsequent displacement of the imidazole residue.  相似文献

[reaction: see text] By combining a Ugi four-component reaction of isocyanides, phosphonoacetic acids, primary amines, and glyoxals or alternatively 3-keto aldehydes with a subsequent Wittig ring-closing reaction (using the Horner/Wadsworth/Emmons variant (HWE)), highly substituted 5-oxo-2,5-dihydro-1H-pyrrole-2-carboxylic acid amides and 6-oxo-1,2,3,6-tetrahydro-pyridine-2-carboxylic acid amides can be assembled, respectively. The corresponding tandem of a Passerini reaction on 3-keto aldehydes and subsequent Wittig ring closure does not afford the expected six-membered 6-oxo-3,6-dihydro-2H-pyran-2-carboxylic acid amides but instead leads to the formation of 4-oxo-pent-2-enoic acid amides via an elimination route.  相似文献

Abstract

The reaction of the derivatives of 3-phenyl-3-chloro-2-oxopropionic acid with the trivalent phosphorus compounds has been studied. The esterification or amidation of this acid have been shown to influence the course of reaction with Ph3P. In the reaction with esters enolphosphonium salts are produced, ketophosphonium salts are obtained when amides are involved. Properties of these compounds have also been studied in the Wittig reaction. 3-(α-chlorobenzyl)-2-oxoquinoxaline which reacted with trialkyl phosphates (Arbuzov reaction) has been synthesized. These phosphonates are obtained in nearly quantitative yields, in alkaline conditions (Horner-Emmons reaction) they react smoothly with aromatic aldehydes to give the substituted vinylyuinoxalines.  相似文献

Substituted amides of 2-hydrazino- and 2-ethylhydrazinocinchoninic acids react with pyruvic acid and its ethyl ester to give amides of 3-methyl-4-oxo-1,2,4-triazino[4,3-a]quinoline-10-carboxylic acid. The reaction of 5-(1,4-benzodioxan-2-yl)-4H-1,2,4-triazole-3-thiol with N-substituted chloroacetic acid amides obtained by condensation of chloroacetyl chloride with various primary amines furnished a series of S-amidomethyl derivatives. The corresponding thiazolotriazolone prepared from 2-[5-(1,4-benzodioxan-2-yl)-4H-1,2,4-triazol-3-ylthio]acetic acid reacted with aromatic aldehydes to form arylidene derivatives.

Various primary alcohols, particularly benzylic alcohols, could be converted into the corresponding aromatic amides in good yields in a one-pot manner by treatment with molecular iodine in aq. NH3, followed by reaction with ∼30% aq H2O2. Similarly, various benzylic halides could be also converted into the corresponding aromatic amides in good yields in a one-pot manner by treatment with molecular iodine in aq NH3, followed by reaction with ∼30% aq H2O2. The present reactions involve the metal-free one-pot oxidative conversion of benzylic alcohols and benzylic halides into the corresponding aromatic amides, respectively.  相似文献
