Heterobimetallic hexanuclear cyano-bridged complexes, [{Fe(Tp)(CN)3}4{M(MeCN)(H2O)2}(2)].10H2O.2MeCN [M = Ni (1), Co (2), Mn (3); Tp = hydrotris(1-pyrazolyl)borate], have been synthesized in H2O-MeCN solution. Complexes 1-3 are isostructural and hexanuclear with [{Fe(Tp)(CN)3}4{M(MeCN)(H2O)2}2] units linked by hydrogen bonds to form a 2D-structure in the solid state. Complex 1 is a canted antiferromagnet that undergoes a field-induced spin-flop-like transition at approximately 1 T and 2 K. At 4.45 K 1 has a transition to paramagnetic state of noninteracting S = 4 magnetic clusters. However, 2 and 3 show antiferromagnetic intracluster coupling. Facile loss of solvent from 2 alters the local symmetry resulting in changing the intracluster interaction from antiferro- to ferromagnetic.  相似文献

Cyanide‐bridged metal complexes of [Fe8M6(μ‐CN)14(CN)10 (tp)8(HL)10(CH3CN)2][PF6]4?n CH3CN?m H2O (HL=3‐(2‐pyridyl)‐5‐[4‐(diphenylamino)phenyl]‐1H‐pyrazole), tp?=hydrotris(pyrazolylborate), 1 : M=Ni with n=11 and m=7, and 2 : M=Co with n=14 and m=5) were prepared. Complexes 1 and 2 are isomorphous, and crystallized in the monoclinic space group P21/n. They have tetradecanuclear cores composed of eight low‐spin (LS) FeIII and six high‐spin (HS) MII ions (M=Ni and Co), all of which are bridged by cyanide ions, to form a crown‐like core structure. Magnetic susceptibility measurements revealed that intramolecular ferro‐ and antiferromagnetic interactions are operative in 1 and in a fresh sample of 2 , respectively. Ac magnetic susceptibility measurements of 1 showed frequency‐dependent in‐ and out‐of‐phase signals, characteristic of single‐molecule magnetism (SMM), while desolvated samples of 2 showed thermal‐ and photoinduced intramolecular electron‐transfer‐coupled spin transition (ETCST) between the [(LS‐FeII)3(LS‐FeIII)5(HS‐CoII)3(LS‐CoIII)3] and the [(LS‐FeIII)8(HS‐CoII)6] states.  相似文献

A combined structural, magnetic and thermoelectric study of polycrystalline ternary MIn2S4 (M = Mn, Fe, Co, Ni) thiospinels is presented. All compounds crystallize with MgAl2O4-type structure. Rietveld refinement analysis confirmed that the preferred crystallographic position of transition metal element changes from mainly tetrahedral 8a for Mn to exclusively octahedral 16d for Ni (i.e. increase of the inversion parameter). Magnetic susceptibility measurements revealed M-elements to possess 2+ oxidation state in MIn2S4. All these compounds order antiferromagnetically with Néel temperatures TN ranging from 5–13 K. The studied thiospinels are n-type semiconductors with large values of electrical resistivity ρ > 0.6 Ω · m at room temperature. An increase of the inversion parameter leads to a reduction of the determined activation energies, as well as to a more disorder-like behavior of thermal conductivity. The highest thermoelectric Figure of merit ZT was observed for MIn2S4 with M = Fe, Ni, which adopt inverse spinel structure.  相似文献

Powder samples and single crystals of the borides M0.5Ru6.5B3 (M = Cr, Mn, Co, Ni) were synthesized by arc‐melting the elements in a water‐cooled copper crucible under argon. The new phases were structurally characterized by single‐crystal and powder X‐ray diffraction as well as EDX‐Analyses. They crystallize in the hexagonal Th7Fe3 structure type (space group P63mc, no. 186, Z = 2) and a pronounced site preferential M/Ru substitution is observed. Magnetic properties of the compounds were investigated and Pauli paramagnetism was observed in all cases. However, a strong temperature dependency is subsequently observed in Mn0.5Ru6.5B3 below 250 K, but no hint of magnetic ordering was found.  相似文献

Zusammenfassung In den beiden untersuchten Doppelfluorid-Serien, BaMF4 und Pb2 MF6 (M=Mn, Fe, Co, Ni, Cu, Zn), zeigen die Verbindungen des Cu und des Zn ein anderes Verhalten als die übrigen. Die Zn-Verbindungen sind diamagnetisch, die Cu-Verbindungen paramagnetisch. Pb2CuF6 befolgt dasCuriesche Gesetz, während BaCuF4 eineCurie-Weiss-Abweichung unterhalb 212 K aufweist.Im untersuchten Temperaturbereich zeigt sich für alle anderen Verbindungen, mit Ausnahme von Pb2FeF6, Antiferromagnetismus.
Magnetic properties of the compounds BaMF4 and Pb2 MF6 (M=Mn, Fe, Co, Ni, Cu, Zn)
Two series of double fluorides, BaMF4 and Pb2 MF6 (M=Mn, Fe, Co, Ni, Cu, Zn) have been studied, the compounds of Cu and Zn differing in behaviour from the others. The Zn componds are diamagnetic, the Cu compounds paramagnetic. Pb2CuF6 conforms toCurie's law while BaCuF4 exhibits aCurie-Weiss deviation below 212° K.With the exception of Pb2FeF6, all the other compounds show antiferromagnetism in the studied temperature range.

The title compounds form an iso structural series and are isomorphic with other [MPy4X2]-2Py clathrates (XRD, KM4 diffractometer, cell parameters and space group Ccca from 17–80 reflections). In the clathrate [NiPy4(NCO)2]-2Py studied in detail (XRD, CAD-4 diffractom eter, λCuKα, Ω/2θ scan mode, θmax = 78‡, 990 strong reflections, 104 parameters, R = 0.053), the host molecule has 222 symmetry, and the twofold axes run along the coordination bonds. The transoctahedral environment of nickel consists of six nitrogen atoms of four pyridine and two isocyanate ligands. The coordination polyhedron is slightly distorted due to changes in the bond lengths. The molecule has a propeller conformation. The guest molecules lie in the cavities of the crystal structure in conformity with the van der Waals type of packing. The host complex [NiPy4(NCO)2] (XRD, CAD-4 diffractometer, 4615 strong reflections, 560 parameters, R-0.037) crystallizes in the triclinic crystal system (space group P1) with two independent asymmetric molecules in the unit cell. The molecular structure is analogous to that in the ciathrate phase, but the coordination angles are severely distorted; one of the molecules acquires a distorted propeller conformation, and the other, a centrosvmmetric conformation, which is less favorable. While being structurally identical, the [MPy4(NCO)2]-2Py clathrates differ heavily in the properties. The first four complexes dissociate to host complexes, and their thermal stability changes in the sequence Mn< Fe< Co< Ni; the Cu and Zn clathrates decompose in one step to dipyridine complexes with decomposition of host complexes. Decomposition of the Cd ciathrate follows one of these patterns depending on conditions. The results are compared with those for other known systems. Synthetic procedures are given. A new series of layered magnets with the formula [M(L-tartrate)] (M = Mn(II), Co(II), Fe(II), Ni(II); L-tartrate = (2R,3R)-(+)-tartrate) has been prepared. All of these compounds are isostructural and crystallize in the chiral orthorhombic space group I222, as found by X-ray structure analysis. Their structure consists of a three-dimensional polymeric network in which each metal shows distorted octahedral coordination bound to four L-tartrate ligands, two of which chelate through an alcohol and a carboxylate group and the other two bind terminally through a monodentate carboxylate group. The chirality of the ligand imposes a Delta conformation on all metal centers. Magnetically, the paramagnetic metal centers form pseudotetragonal layers in which each metal is surrounded by four other metals, with syn,anti carboxylate bridges. These salts show intralayer antiferromagnetic or ferromagnetic interactions, depending on the electronic configuration of the metal, and weak interlayer antiferromagnetic interaction. In all cases the magnetic properties are strongly affected by the anisotropy of the system, and the presence of magnetic canting has been found. The Mn derivative behaves as a weak ferromagnet with a critical temperature of 3.3 K. The Ni derivative shows very unusual magnetic behavior in that it exhibits antiferromagnetic ordering below 6 K, the onset of spontaneous magnetization arising from spin reorientation into a canted phase below 4.5 K, and a field-induced ferromagnetic state above 0.3 T at 2 K, behavior typical of metamagnets. The Fe and Co derivatives show antiferromagnetic interactions between spin carriers, but do not order above 2 K.  相似文献

IR spectra of M(1,4-diaminobutane)Ni(CN)4° 1.5C6H6 (M = Mn, Fe, or Co), and IR and Raman spectra of M(1,4-diaminobutane)Ni(CN)4° 1.5C6H6 (M = Ni or Cd) clathrates are reported. The spectral features suggest that the compounds are similar in structure to the Hofmann-dabn-type clathrates.  相似文献

Nanostructured B-site Fe and Mn doped SmCrO3 was prepared by mild hydrothermal growth. The as-prepared crystals are mainly micrometer-scale plates, ranging from rhombus(SmCr0.5Fe0.5O3) to elongated he- xagonal(SmCr0.5Mn0.5O3), and finally to well-edged rectangular(SmCr0.17Mn0.5Fe0.33O3) plates. Fe and Mn doped SmCrO3 crystals are indexed into Pbnm space group. The cell parameters of SmCr0.5Fe0.5O3 are slightly smaller than that of pristine SmCrO3. Binding energy analysis of Cr, Mn and Fe in SmCr0.17Mn0.5Fe0.33O3 sample indicates that they all possess +3 oxidation states. Temperature dependent magnetization of the as-prepared samples presents obviously stronger ferromagnetic interactions than the undoped counterparts. This work represents a remarkable development for hydrothermal synthesis into fabricating perovskite oxide crystals with uniform distribution of doping ions.  相似文献

采用密度泛函理论中的广义梯度近似对FMBen(FM=Fe,Co,Ni;n=1-12)团簇的几何构型进行优化,并对能量、频率和磁性进行了计算,同时考虑了电子的自旋多重度.结果表明,纯铍团簇的幻数是由电子的壳层模型确定,而FMBen团簇的幻数主要由几何效应来解释;掺杂铁磁性的过渡金属(Fe,Co,Ni)提高了纯团簇的稳定性.二阶能量差分表明FMBen(FM=Fe,Co,Ni)的幻数分别为5,10;5,10;4,10.通过对磁性质的研究发现掺杂不同的过渡金属时,磁矩出现了不同的变化规律.  相似文献

由有机配体同金属离子作用构建的配位聚合物具有与无机微孔晶体类似的空旷骨架结构,并在非线性光学材料、磁性材料、超导材料及催化等诸多方面具有潜在的应用前景[1~4].在配位聚合物的合成中,配体的种类不仅直接影响到聚合物的合成,而且还涉及到聚合物的结构维数[5~7].目前,用来构建这些配合物的有机配体大多数都带有相同的可配位基团,较少应用具有两种以上的配位基团的有机配体.本文采用同时含有氮和氧两种配位原子的多齿配体氨基三乙酸[8~12],在水热条件下分别以Co2+和Ni2+作为组装基元,通过自组装合成了具有三维骨架结构的Na[M(nta)]·H2O [M=Co(1),Ni(2)]配位聚合物,并进行了结构与磁性研究.  相似文献

用固相法首次合成了NdSr_(1-x)M_xNiO_4(M=Ca:0.0≤1.0;M=Ba:0.0≤x≤0.6)系列复合氧化物,并研究了其结构,红外光谱,电学性质和磁学性质。除NdCaNiO以正交晶系结晶外,其它试样的结构均属于四方晶系。IR谱显示随Ca ̄(2+)离子含量的增加,NdSr_(1-x)M_xNiO_4的Ni-O键缩短,Ca ̄(2+)和Ba ̄(2+)引入NdSrNiO_4以取代Sr ̄(2+),使试样由金属性导电转变为半导体性导电;随Ca ̄(2+)含量增加,试样的室温电阻率增大。77~300K磁化率与温度关系曲线显示,所有试样的Ni ̄(3+)都以低自旋状态存在。  相似文献

One-pot reactions of 2-pyridinecarboxaldehyde, chiral phenylethanamines and Fe(II) give single diastereomer fac diimine complexes at thermodynamic equilibrium so that no chiral separations are required (d.r. > 200 : 1). The origins of this stereoselectivity are partly steric and partly a result of the presence of three sets of inter-ligand parallel-offset π-stacking interactions. Mn(II), Co(II), Co(III), Ni(II) and Zn(II) give similar fac structures, alongside the imidazole analogues for Fe(II). While most of the complexes are paramagnetic, the series of molecular structures allows us to assess the influence of the π-stacking present, and there is a strong correlation between this and the M-N bond length. Fe(II) is close to optimal. For the larger Zn(II) ion, very weak π-stacking leads to poorer measured stereoselectivity (NMR) but this is improved with increased solvent polarity. The mechanism of stereoselection is further investigated via DFT calculations, chiroptical spectroscopy and the use of synthetic probes.  相似文献

The thermodynamic and geometric parameters of M(II) macrotetracyclic chelates (M = Mn, Fe, Co, Ni, Cu, and Zn) with the (NNNN) coordination of the donor ligand sites, formed by the complexation reactions of corresponding M(II) compounds, ethanedithioamide H2N-C(=S)-C(=S)-NH2, and acetone H3C-C(=O)-CH3 in gelatin-immobilized matrix implants have been calculated by the OPBE/TZVP density functional theory method with the use of the Gaussian 09 program package. The bond lengths and bond and torsion angles in these complexes have been reported. It has been shown that despite the fact that the MN4 chelate core in them is almost planar, the five- and six-membered chelate rings are pronouncedly non-coplanar. In the Mn(II), Fe(II), Co(II), and Ni(II) complexes, these chelate rings are pairwise identical, whereas in the Cu(II) and Zn(II) complexes, they are noticeably different.  相似文献

A room temperature and microwave method for the preparation M-Doped ZnO, where M=Co, Cr, Fe, Mn & Ni, is described. X-ray diffraction of the synthesized samples shows a single phase ZnO structure without any indication of the dopant. Magnetic studies of the as prepared samples show it to be paramagnetic. However, hydrogenation of particular samples at 573 K for 6 h resulted in transforming the samples to a room temperature ferromagnet.  相似文献

The porosity and hydrogen storage properties for the dehydrated Prussian blue analogues M3[Co(CN)6]2 (M = Mn, Fe, Co, Ni, Cu, Zn) are reported. Argon sorption isotherms measured at 87 K afford BET surface areas ranging from 560 m2/g for Ni3[Co(CN)6]2 to 870 m2/g for Mn3[Co(CN)6]2; the latter value is comparable to the highest surface area reported for any known zeolite. All six compounds show significant hydrogen sorption at 77 K and 890 Torr, varying from 1.4 wt % and 0.018 kg H2/L for Zn3[Co(CN)6]2 to 1.8 wt % and 0.025 kg H2/L for Cu3[Co(CN)6]2. Fits to the sorption data employing the Langmuir-Freundlich equation give maximum uptake quantities, resulting in a predicted storage capacity of 2.1 wt % and 0.029 kg H2/L for Cu3[Co(CN)6]2 at saturation. Enthalpies of adsorption for the frameworks were calculated from hydrogen isotherms measured at 77 and 87 K and found to increase with M varying in the order Mn < Zn < Fe < Co < Cu < Ni. In all cases, the binding enthalpies, which lie in the range of 5.3-7.4 kJ/mol, are higher than the 4.7-5.2 kJ/mol measured for Zn4O(1,4-benzenedicarboxylate)3.  相似文献
