The chemical composition obviously affects the surface wettability of a three-dimensional (3D) graphene material apart from its surface energy and microstructure. In the hydrothermal preparation, the heteroatom doping changes the chemical composition and wettability of the 3D graphene material. To realize the controllable surface wettability of graphene materials, aminobenzene sulfonic acid (ABSA) was selected as a typical doping agent for the preparation of nitrogen and sulfur co-doped 3D graphene foam (SNGF) using a hydrothermal method. Different from using o-ABSA or p-ABSA as the dopant, SNGF with tunable surface wettability is obtained only when m-ABSA is used. This result indicates that the substituent position of -SO3H group in the benzene ring of ABSA is rather important for the tunable wettability. This work provides some theoretical foundations for dopant selection and some new insights in manipulating the properties of 3D graphene foams by adjusting the configuration of dopants.  相似文献

A new strategy for creating homochiral metal–organic frameworks through a fusion of pillaring and templating concepts is demonstrated. This strategy makes use of the synergy among various chemical interactions during self‐assembly processes, and leads to the synthesis of a series of homochiral frameworks. In the presence of only pillar‐to‐pillar π–π interactions, inter‐pillar forces compete against metal–pillar interactions, resulting in mismatch between pillar‐to‐pillar and metal‐to‐metal separations and consequently 2D materials without pillaring. To create 3D materials, a method was developed to use various aromatic molecules, polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons in particular, as templates to modulate the inter‐pillar interaction and separation, leading to the formation of 3D homochiral frameworks. The use of aromatic molecules, especially hydrocarbons, as structure‐directing agents, represents a new approach in the development of crystalline porous materials. Aromatic templates can be post‐synthetically extracted to yield flexible porous homochiral materials with gate‐opening gas sorption behaviors for both N2 and CO2 at partial pressures tunable by temperature.  相似文献

The design of efficient noncentrosymmetric materials remains the ultimate goal in the field of organic second‐order nonlinear optics. Unlike inorganic crystals currently used in second‐order nonlinear optical applications, organic materials are an attractive alternative owing to their fast electro‐optical response and processability, but their alignment into noncentrosymmetric film remains challenging. Here, symmetry breaking by judicious functionalization of 3D organic octupoles allows the emergence of multifunctional liquid crystalline chromophores which can easily be processed into large, flexible, thin, and self‐oriented films with second harmonic generation responses competitive to the prototypical inorganic KH2PO4 crystals. The liquid‐crystalline nature of these chiral organic films also permits the modulation of the nonlinear optical properties owing to the sensitivity of the supramolecular organization to temperature, leading to the development of tunable macroscopic materials.  相似文献

2D conductive metal–organic frameworks (2D c-MOFs) feature promising applications as chemiresistive sensors, electrode materials, electrocatalysts, and electronic devices. However, exploration of the spin-polarized transport in this emerging materials and development of the relevant spintronics have not yet been implemented. In this work, layer-by-layer assembly was applied to fabricate highly crystalline and oriented thin films of a 2D c-MOF, Cu3(HHTP)2, (HHTP: 2,3,6,7,10,11-hexahydroxytriphenylene), with tunable thicknesses on the La0.67Sr0.33MnO3 (LSMO) ferromagnetic electrode. The magnetoresistance (MR) of the LSMO/Cu3(HHTP)2/Co organic spin valves (OSVs) reaches up to 25 % at 10 K. The MR can be retained with good film thickness adaptability varied from 30 to 100 nm and also at high temperatures (up to 200 K). This work demonstrates the first potential applications of 2D c-MOFs in spintronics.  相似文献

Harnessing solar energy and converting it into renewable fuels by chemical processes, such as water splitting and carbon dioxide (CO2) reduction, is a highly promising yet challenging strategy to mitigate the effects arising from the global energy crisis and serious environmental concerns. In recent years, covalent organic framework (COF)-based materials have gained substantial research interest because of their diversified architecture, tunable composition, large surface area, and high thermal and chemical stability. Their tunable band structure and significant light absorption with higher charge separation efficiency of photoinduced carriers make them suitable candidates for photocatalytic applications in hydrogen (H2) generation, CO2 conversion, and various organic transformation reactions. In this article, we describe the recent progress in the topology design and synthesis method of COF-based nanomaterials by elucidating the structure-property correlations for photocatalytic hydrogen generation and CO2 reduction applications. The effect of using various kinds of 2D and 3D COFs and strategies to control the morphology and enhance the photocatalytic activity is also summarized. Finally, the key challenges and perspectives in the field are highlighted for the future development of highly efficient COF-based photocatalysts.  相似文献

Metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) encompass a rapidly expanding class of materials with diverse potential applications including gas storage, molecular separation, sensing and catalysis. So-called ‘rod MOFs’, which comprise infinitely extended 1D secondary building units (SBUs), represent an underexplored subclass of MOF. Further, porphyrins are considered privileged ligands for MOF synthesis due to their tunable redox and photophysical properties. In this study, the CuII complex of 5,15-bis(4-carboxyphenyl)-10,20-diphenylporphyrin (H2L-CuII, where H2 refers to the ligand’s carboxyl H atoms) is used to prepare two new 2D porphyrinic rod MOFs PROD-1 and PROD-2. Single-crystal X-ray analysis reveals that these frameworks feature 1D MnII- or CoII-based rod-like SBUs that are coordinated by labile solvent molecules and photoactive porphyrin moieties. Both materials were characterised using infrared (IR) spectroscopy, powder X-ray diffraction (PXRD) spectroscopy and thermogravimetric analysis (TGA). The structural attributes of PROD-1 and PROD-2 render them promising materials for future photocatalytic investigations.  相似文献

Inspired by the self-assembly of nanoparticle superlattices, we report a general method that exploits long-chain molecular ligands to induce ordered assembly of colloidal nanosheets (NSs), resulting in 2D laminate superlattices with high packing density. Co-assembly of two types of NSs further enables 2D/2D heterostructured superlattices. As a proof of concept, co-assembly of Ti3C2Tx and graphene oxide (GO) NSs followed by thermal annealing leads to MXene-rGO superlattices with tunable microstructures, which exhibit significantly higher capacitance than their filtrated counterparts, delivering an ultrahigh volumetric capacitance of 1443 F cm−3 at 2 mV s−1. Moreover, the as-fabricated binder-free symmetric supercapacitors show a high volumetric energy density of 42.1 Wh L−1, which is among the best reported for MXene-based materials in aqueous electrolytes. This work paves the way toward rational design of 2D material-based superstructures for energy applications.  相似文献

Two-dimensional (2D) metal-organic frameworks (MOF) nanosheets have emerged as novel membrane materials for gas separation. However, the development of ultrathin MOF membranes with tunable separation performances is still a challenge. Herein, we developed a facile GO-assisted restacking method to fabricate defect-free membranes with monolayer Zr-BTB nanosheets. Obtained ultrathin membranes ranging from 130 nm to 320 nm show tunable separation performances and exceed the 2008 Robeson upper bound by changing the amount of nanolayers in vertical stacking direction. Furthermore, a heating filtration method was used to change the restacking process of nanosheets in the horizontal direction. As a result, H2/CO2 selectivity can be enhanced by two times with the same membrane thickness (130 nm) and H2 permeance is almost maintained to be 7.0×10−7 mol m−2 s−1 pa−1. This method may provide a possible way to efficiently tune the gas separation performances of MOF membranes.  相似文献

Luminescent materials with tunable emission are becoming increasingly desirable as we move towards needing efficient Light Emitting Diodes (LEDs) for displays. Key to developing better displays is the advancement of strategies for rationally designing emissive materials that are tunable and efficient. We report a series of emissive metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) generated using BUT-10 (BUT: Beijing University of Technology) that emits green light with λmax at 525 nm. Post-synthetic reduction of the ketone on the fluorenone ligand in BUT-10 generates new materials, BUT-10-M and BUT-10-R. The emission for BUT-10-R is hypsochromically-shifted by 113 nm. Multivariate BUT-10-M structures demonstrate emission with two maxima corresponding to the emission of both fluorenol and fluorenone moieties present in their structures. Our study represents a novel post-synthetic ligand reduction strategy for producing emissive MOFs with tunable emission ranging from green, white-blue to deep blue.  相似文献

MXene materials have recently attracted considerable attention in energy storage application owing to their metallic conductivity, 2D structure and tunable surface terminations. However, the restacking of 2D MXene nanosheets hinders the ion transport and accessibility to the surface, resulting in adverse effect on their electrochemical performances. Here, with the assistance of hexamethylenetetramine (C6H12N4), 2D Ti3C2Tx MXene nanosheets were fabricated into a 3D architecture with crumbled and porous structure through an electrostatic self-assembly followed by annealing. The resultant 3D structure can expose massive active sites and facilitates the ion transport, which is beneficial for sufficient utilization of the outstanding superiorities of the MXene. Therefore, as a pseudocapacitive material, the 3D crumpled and porous Ti3C2Tx MXene shows a gravimetric capacitance of 333 F/g at 1 A/g, and maintains 261 F/g and 132 F/g at ultrahigh current densities of 100 A/g and 1000 A/g, respectively, revealing promising potential for application in supercapacitors.  相似文献

The electrochemical deintercalation from the sheet oxide NaTiO2 leads to new Na x TiO2 materials. The deintercalation is reversible over the range 0.70?x≤1, whereas irreversible modifications of the host structure occur by overvoltage (x?0.70). This behavior, which can be explained by migration of some titanium ions from the slabs to the intersheet space, may be considered as a 2D→3D structural transition.  相似文献

Two-dimensional (2D) Au(I)-thiolate assemblies are a special type of material that can balance high structural stability and rich surface functionality, which shows promising prospects in both fundamental research and applications. Co-assembly of multiple ligands is a facile way to further enrich the surface properties and functions, and expand their application potentials. In this work, taking 3-mercaptopropionic acid (MPA), cysteine (Cys) and 1-thioglycerol (TGO) as example ligands, we studied in detail the possibility to co-assemble them into one nanosheet. Although the three ligands have significantly different controllability and pathways when self-assembling individually with Au(I), they can still be effectively co-assembled by reacting with HAuCl4 together to obtain three-ligand nanosheets with good colloidal stability. The key points for successful co-assembly are also revealed by comparing single- and three-ligand self-assembly processes, laying a solid foundation for co-assembly of even more ligands. The easy but powerful strategy for 2D materials with closely-packed and multiple tunable surface functional groups addresses the surface engineering problem for 2D materials and paves the way for their wider applications in sensing and biomaterials.  相似文献

As a remarkable class of plasmonic materials, two dimensional (2D) semiconductor compounds have attracted attention owing to their controlled manipulation of plasmon resonances in the visible light spectrum, which outperforms conventional noble metals. However, tuning of plasmonic resonances for 2D semiconductors remains challenging. Herein, we design a novel method to obtain amorphous molybdenum oxide (MoO3) nanosheets, in which it combines the oxidation of MoS2 and subsequent supercritical CO2‐treatment, which is a crucial step for the achievement of amorphous structure of MoO3. Upon illumination, hydrogen‐doped MoO3 exhibits tuned surface plasmon resonances in the visible and near‐IR regions. Moreover, a unique behavior of the amorphous MoO3 nanosheets has been found in an optical biosensing system; there is an optimum plasmon resonance after incubation with different BSA concentrations, suggesting a tunable plasmonic device in the near future.  相似文献

Two-dimensional (2D)-halide perovskites have been enriched over recent years to offer remarkable features from diverse chemical structures and environmental stability endowed with exciting functionalities in photoelectric detectors and phosphorescence systems. However, the low conversion efficiency of singlet to triplet in 2D hybrid halide perovskites reduces phosphorescence lifetimes. In this study, the long persistent luminescence of 2D all-inorganic perovskites with a self-assembled 2D interlayer galleries structure is investigated. The results show that the decay time of the long persistent luminescence increases from 450 s to 600 s, and the luminescence color changes from cyan to orange, and the thermal stability of photoluminescence enhances dramatically after replacing Cd2+ by appropriate Mn2+ ions in 2D Cs2CdCl4 Ruddlesden-Popper phase perovskites. Furthermore, diversified anti-counterfeiting modes are fabricated to highlight the promising applications of Cs2CdCl4 perovskite systems with tunable persistent luminescence in advanced anti-counterfeiting. Therefore, our studies provide a novel model for realizing tunable long persistent luminescence of perovskite with 2D self-assembled layered structure for advanced anti-counterfeiting.  相似文献

Two covalent organic frameworks consisting of carbazolylene-ethynylene shape-persistent macrocycles with azine (MC-COF-1) or imine (MC-COF-2) linkages were synthesized via imine condensation. The obtained 2D frameworks are fully conjugated which imparts semiconducting properties. In addition, the frameworks showed high porosity with aligned accessible porous channels along the z axis, serving as an ideal platform for post-synthetic incorporation of I2 into the channels to enable electrical conductivity. The resulting MC-COF-1 showed an electrical conductivity up to 7.8×10−4 S cm−1 at room temperature upon I2 doping with the activation energy as low as 0.09 eV. Furthermore, we demonstrated that the electrical properties of both MC-COFs are switchable between electron-conducting and insulating states by simply implementing doping-regenerating cycles. The knowledge gained in this study opens new possibilities for the future development of tunable conductive 2D organic materials.  相似文献

Heterogenous Fenton‐like reactions are frequently proposed for treating persistent pollutants through the generation of reactive radicals. Despite great efforts to optimize catalyst activity, their broad application in practical settings has been restricted by the low efficiency of hydrogen peroxide or persulfate decomposition as well as ultrafast self‐quenching of the activated radicals. Theoretical calculations predicted that two‐dimensional (2D) metallic 1T phase MoS2 materials with exposed (001) surfaces and (100) edges should have remarkable affinity towards crucial intermediates in the peroxymonosulfate (PMS) activation process. X‐ray photoelectron spectroscopy and in situ Raman spectroscopy were used to show that the exposed metallic Mo sites accelerate the rate‐limiting step of electron transfer. A lamellar membrane made from a stack of 2D MoS2 with tunable interspacing was then designed as the catalyst. The non‐linear transport between the MoS2 nanolayers leads to high water diffusivity so that the short‐lived reactive radicals efficiently oxidize contaminants.  相似文献

Low-dimensional materials have excellent properties which are closely related to their dimensionality. However, the growth mechanism underlying tunable dimensionality from 2D triangles to 1D ribbons of such materials is still unrevealed. Here, we establish a general kinetic Monte Carlo model for transition metal dichalcogenides (TMDs) growth to address such an issue. Our model is able to reproduce several key findings in experiments, and reveals that the dimensionality is determined by the lattice mismatch and the interaction strength between TMDs and the substrate. We predict that the dimensionality can be well tuned by the interaction strength and the geometry of the substrate. Our work deepens the understanding of tunable dimensionality of low-dimensional materials and may inspire new concepts for the design of such materials with expected dimensionality.  相似文献

Crystalline and porous covalent organic frameworks (COFs) and metal‐organic frameworks (MOFs) materials have attracted enormous attention in the field of photocatalytic H2 evolution due to their long‐range order structures, large surface areas, outstanding visible light absorbance, and tunable band gaps. In this work, we successfully integrated two‐dimensional (2D) COF with stable MOF. By covalently anchoring NH2‐UiO‐66 onto the surface of TpPa‐1‐COF, a new type of MOF/COF hybrid materials with high surface area, porous framework, and high crystallinity was synthesized. The resulting hierarchical porous hybrid materials show efficient photocatalytic H2 evolution under visible light irradiation. Especially, NH2‐UiO‐66/TpPa‐1‐COF (4:6) exhibits the maximum photocatalytic H2 evolution rate of 23.41 mmol g?1 h?1 (with the TOF of 402.36 h?1), which is approximately 20 times higher than that of the parent TpPa‐1‐COF and the best performance photocatalyst for H2 evolution among various MOF‐ and COF‐based photocatalysts.  相似文献
