N, N-diethylhydroxylamine (DEHA) is a novel salt-free reducing reagent used in the separation of Pu and Np from U in the treatment of used nuclear fuel. This paper reports on the radiation damage and radiolytic by-product of 0.5 mol L?1 DEHA in 0.3 mol L?1?~?1.0 mol L?1 HNO3 at dose up to 25 kGy. Results show that the radiolysis rate of DEHA is less than 10%. The main radiolytic products are hydrogen, acetaldehyde, acetic acid and nitrous acid, which increase with the dose. The concentration of acetaldehyde and acetic acid is much higher than that of nitrous acid.

The order of extraction of Mo(VI) from 1M acid solutions by 5% (v/v) LIX 622 (HL) in benzene is HCl>HNO3>HClO4>H2SO4, and extraction decreases with increasing concentration of HCl and H2SO4, and increases slightly with increasing concentration of HNO3 and HClO4. The extracted species is shown to be MoO2L2 as established by IR data of organic extracts and the extracted species in the solid form. Extraction is almost quantitative at and above 10% LIX 622, and is found to be independent of [Mo(VI)] in the range of 10–4 to 10–3 M. The diluents CCl4, CHCl3 and C6H6 are found to be superior to solvents of high dielectric constant for extraction of Mo(VI). Extraction of uranium(VI) by 10% (v/v) LIX 622 in benzene was found to increase with increasing equilibrium pH (3.0 to 6.0), and becomes quantitative at pH 5.9. Tributyl phosphate acts as a modifier up to 2% (v/v). Thorium(IV) is almost not extracted by LIX 622 or its mixture. Separation of Mo(VI) and U(VI) is feasible.  相似文献

The influences of reductant concentration and Pd loading on the response and recovery times and the sensitivity in detecting hydrogen of Pd/Nafion electrodes prepared by an impregnation-reduction method were investigated in this study. The Pd/Nafion electrodes with a Pd loading of 6.90 mg/cm2, obtained at 0.006 M Pd(NH3)4Cl2 and 0.06 M NaBH4, show the maximum sensitivity of 0.0519 μA/ppm in the H2 concentration range 0–4410 ppm. However, The Pd/Nafion electrodes with a Pd loading of 11.42 mg/cm2, obtained at 0.01 M Pd(NH3)4Cl2 and 0.06 M NaBH4, show the fastest response and recovery speed in sensing hydrogen. Generally, the response time decreases with an increase of the hydrogen concentration, but the recovery time increases with an increase of the hydrogen concentration. A sensing model is also proposed to illustrate the sensing phenomenon. Electronic Publication  相似文献

Extraction of U(VI) from HNO3, HCl and HClO4 media using cyanex-272 (bis[2,4,4 trimethyl pentyl] phosphinic acid)/n-dodecane has been carried out. In the case of HNO3 and HClO4 media, the distribution ratio (D) value first decreases and then increases, whereas from HCl medium it first decreases and then remains constant with increase in H+ ion concentration. At lower acidities, U(VI) was extracted as UO2(HA2)2 by an ion exchange mechanism, whereas at higher acidities as UO2(NO3)2 .2(H2A2) following a solvation mechanism. The D for U(VI) by cyanex-272, PC-88A and DEHPA at low acidities follows the order cyanex-272 > PC-88A > DEHPA. Also, cyanex-272 was found to extract U(VI) more efficiently than TBP at 2M HNO3. The effect of diluents on the extraction of U(VI) by cyanex-272 followed the order cyclohexane > n-dodecane > CCl4 > benzene. The loading of U(VI) into cyanex-272/n-dodecane from 2M HNO3 has shown that at saturation point, cyanex-272 was 78% loaded. No third phase was observed at the saturation level. The stripping of U(VI) from the loaded organic phase was not possible with water, it was poor with acetic acid and sodium acetate but quantitative with oxalic acid, ammonium carbonate and sodium carbonate.  相似文献

The oxidation of americium in HNO3, H2SO4 and HClO4 solutions by a mixture of potassium persulfate with silver salt in the presence of potassium phosphotungstate has been investigated. The influence of acid and its concentration, of (NH4)2S2O3, K10P2W17O61 and silver salt on Am(III) oxidation rate, yield and stability of Am(IV) and Am(VI), has been studied. The complexation of Am(III), Am(IV) and Am(VI) with phosphotungstate ions has been investigated. It has been established that Am(III) and Am(IV) form ML2 complexes and their apparent stability constants have been estimated. The oxidation mechanism is discussed. A method for preparing of Am(IV) in 0.1–6M HNO3, O.1–3M H2SO4, 0.1–1M HClO4 solutions is proposed. The oxidation of Am(III) to Am(IV) by KBrO3 and K2Cr2O7 in HNO3, H2SO4, HClO4 solutions in the presence of K10P2W17O61 has been investigated.  相似文献

Facilitated transport of silver(I) ions in acidic medium, across a supported liquid membrane (SLM) by using triethanolamine (TEA) as carrier, dissolved in cyclohexanone, has been investigated. The parameters studied are HNO3 concentration variation in the feed, pH of the feed solution, carrier concentration in the membrane phase, silver(I) ions concentration in the feed phase and KCN concentration in the stripping phase. Increase in H+ concentration by increasing HNO3 concentration from 0.5 to 1 M results into an increase in silver ions flux but a decrease in flux has been found beyond 1 M HNO3 concentration in the feed, providing a maximum flux of 3.21 × 10−7 mol/m2 s at 1 M HNO3. Increase in TEA concentration inside the membrane enhances flux with its maximum value at 2.25 M TEA. Further increase in the concentration of TEA leads to a decreased rate of transport due to the increase in viscosity of membrane liquid. The optimum conditions for Ag(I) ions transport are 1 M HNO3 (feed), 2.25 M TEA (membrane) and 1.5 M KCN in the stripping phase. It has been observed that Ag(I) flux across the membrane tends to increase with increase in Ag(I) ions concentration in the feed phase. Applying the studied conditions to silver plating waste solutions, Ag ions have been removed up to 99% in a time interval of 5 h.  相似文献

In this study, graphene nanosheets (GNs) were incorporated into polyethersulfone (PES) by phase inversion approach for preparing PES-GNs mixed matrix membranes (MMMs). To investigate the impact of filler content on membrane surface morphology, thermal stability, chemical composition, porosity and mechanical properties, MMMs were constructed with various GNs loadings (0.01, 0.02, 0.03, and 0.04 wt%). ?The performance of prepared MMMs was tested for separation and selectivity of CO2, N2, H2 and CH4 gases at various pressures from 1 to 6 bar and temperature varying from 20 to 60 °C. It was observed that, compared to the pristine PES membrane, the prepared MMMs significantly improved the gas separation and selectivity performance with adequate mechanical stability. The permeability of CO2, N2, H2 and CH4 for the PES + 0.04 wt% GNs increases from 9 to 2246, 11 to 2235, 9 to 7151, and 3 to 4176 Barrer respectively, as compared with pure PES membrane at 1 bar and 20 °C due to improving the membrane absorption and porosity. In addition, by increasing the pressure, the permeability and selectivity of CO2, N2, H2 and CH4 are increased due to the increased driving force for the transport of gas via membranes. Furthermore, the permeability of CO2, N2, H2 and CH4 increased by increasing the temperature from 20 to 60 °C due to the plasticization in the membranes and the improvement in polymer chain movement. This result proved that the prepared membranes can be used for gas separation applications.  相似文献

The effect exerted by electrochemical oxidative modification of carbon nanofibers and nanotubes by anodic and successive cathodic and anodic polarization in aqueous solutions of electrolytes H2SO4, CH3COONH4, HNO3, (NH4)2SO4, [H2SO4 + (NH4)2SO4] on the structure and morphology of the fibers constituting the nanomaterials, on the composition of surface groups, on the stationary electrode potential of carbon nanofibers, and on properties of epoxy–carbon composites was studied. The results of the electrochemical modification were compared to the results of chemical modification of carbon nanofibers in a 6.0 M HNO3 solution and of carbon nanotubes in a mixture of concentrated acids H2SO4 + HNO3.  相似文献

175, 181Hafnium(IV) was extracted by HDBP in 2-ethylhexanol from 1–10M solutions of HClO4, HCl and HNO3, and 1–8M H2SO4. As with low polar organic phase diluents, the acidity dependence of the distribution ratio of Hf, D, passes through a minimum for HClO4, HCl, and H2SO4 whereas only an increase of D can be observed with increasing HNO3 concentration. From the slope analysis the following complexes were found to be extracted (HDBP=HA): HfA4 at <4M HClO4 and <5M HCl, lg Kextr=9, HfX4(HA)4 (X=ClO 4 , Cl or NO 3 ) at >5M HClO4, >7M HCl and 1–10M HNO3, Hf(SO4)A2(HA)3–4 at <3M H2SO4, and Hf(SO4)2 (HA)4 at >6M H2SO4. Coextraction of sulphate with hafnium from H2SO4 solutions was evidenced in experiments with macro concentrations of Hf(IV) and35SO 4 2− . Part XX: Coll. Czech. Chem. Solvent extraction of U(VI) with di-isodecyl phosphoric acid (DIDPA)/dodecane from nitric acid medium has been investigated for a wide range of experimental conditions. Effect of various parameters including nitric acid concentration, DIDPA concentration, temperature, stripping agents, and other impurities like rear earths, transition metal ion, boron, aluminum ion on U(VI) extraction has been studied. The species extracted in the organic phase is found to be UO2(NO3)(HA2)·H2A2 at lower acidity (<3.0 M HNO3). Increase in temperature lead to the decrease in extraction with the enthalpy change by ∆H = −16.27 kJ/mol. Enhancement in extraction of U(VI) from nitric acid medium was observed with the mixture of DIDPA and tri butyl phosphate (TBP). The stripping of U(VI) from organic phase (DIDPA–U(VI)/dodecane) with various reagents followed the order: 4 M H2SO4 > 5% (NH4)2CO3 > 8 M HCl > 8 M HNO3 > Water. High separation factors between U(VI) and impurities suggested that the use of DIDPA for purification of uranium from multi elements bearing solution.  相似文献

This study presents a simplified approach for size-controlled synthesis of manganese oxide octahedral molecular sieve (OMS-2) nanowires using potassium permanganate (KMnO4) and different inorganic acids (HCl, HNO3, and H2SO4) under reflux conditions. The morphology and nanostructure of the synthesized products are characterized by X-ray diffraction, Ar adsorption, and electron microscopy analysis, in order to elucidate the controlling effects of acid concentration and type as well as the formation mechanism of OMS-2 nanowires. The concentration of inorganic acid is a crucial factor controlling the phase of the synthesized products. OMS-2 nanowires are obtained with HCl at the concentration ≥0.96 mol/L or with HNO3 and H2SO4 at the concentrations ≥0.72 mol/L. Differently, the type of inorganic acid effectively determines the particle size of OMS-2 nanowires. When the acid is changed from HCl to HNO3 and H2SO4 in the reflux system, the average length of OMS-2 declines significantly by 60–70% (1104–442 and 339 nm), with minor decreased in the average width (43–39 and 34 nm). The formation of OMS-2 nanowires under reflux conditions with KMnO4 and inorganic acids involves a two-step process, i.e., the initial formation of layered manganese oxides, and subsequent transformation to OMS-2 via a dissolution-recrystallization process under acidic conditions. The proposed reflux route provides an alternative approach for synthesizing OMS-2 nanowires as well as other porous nano-crystalline OMS materials.  相似文献

Complexing in the HNO3-CH2Cl2 system was confirmed tensimetrically. The kinetics of nitration of wood cellulose by the HNO3-CH2Cl2 mixture were investigated. A large part of the cellulose is nitrated in a first fast reaction in comparison to the HNO3-H2SO4 mixture with the same concentration of HNO3. The rate of the process is determined by the rate of diffusion of the HNO3, the rate of the process decreases more rapidly in the case of HNO3-CH2Cl2 than in the HNO3-H2SO4 mixture, which is probably due to the effect of CH2Cl2 on the diffusion coefficient of HNO3.Translated from Izvestiya Akademii Nauk SSSR, Seriya Khimicheskaya, No. 11, pp. 2445–2450, November, 1989.  相似文献

The extraction order of Th(IV), U(VI) and Mo(VI) based on pH0.5 values is Mo(VI)>U(VI)>Th(IV). Quantitative extraction has been observed for U(VI) by mixture of 10% (v/v) LIX 84 and 0.1M dibenzoylmethane at pH 4.2 and by mixture of 10% LIX 84 and 0.05M HTTA in the pH range 5.5–7.3 and for Mo(VI) by 10% LIX 84 from chloride media at pH 1.5. The order of extraction of Mo(VI) from 1N acid solutions is HCl>H2SO4>HNO3>HClO4 and extraction decreases very rapidly with increase in the concentration of HCl as compared to that from H2SO4, HNO3 and HClO4 acid solutions. The diluents C6H6, CCl4 and CHCl2 are found to be superior ton-butyl alcohol and isoamyl alcohol for extraction of Mo(VI). Influence of concentration of different anions on the extraction of U(VI) and Mo(VI) has been studied. Very little extraction has been observed in case of Th(IV) by LIX 84 or its mixtures with other chelating extractants or neutral donors.  相似文献

We have determined the intrinsic gas transport properties of He, H2, O2, N2, CH4, and CO2 for a 6FDA-durene polyimide as a function of pressure, temperature and aging time. The permeability coefficients of O2, N2, CH4, and CO2 decrease slightly with increasing pressure. The pressure-dependent diffusion coefficients and solubility coefficients are consistent with the dual-sorption model and partial immobilization. All the gas permeabilities increase with temperature and their apparent activation energies for permeation increase with increasing gas molecular sizes in the order of CO2, O2, N2, and CH4.The percentages of permeability decay after 280 days of aging are 22, 32, 36, 40, 42, and 30% for He, H2, O2, N2, CH4, and CO2, respectively. Interestingly, except for H2 (kinetic diameter of 2.89 Å), the percentages of permeability decay increase exactly in the order of He (kinetic diameter of 2.6 Å), CO2 (3.30 Å), O2 (3.46 Å), N2 (3.64 Å), and CH4 (3.80 Å). The apparent activation energies of permeation for O2, N2, CH4, and CO2 increase with aging because of the increases in activation energies of diffusion and the decreases in solubility coefficients. The activation-energy increase for diffusion is probably due to the decrease in polymeric molar volume because of densification during aging. The reduction in solubility coefficient indicates the available sites for sorption decreasing with aging because of the reduction of microvoids and interstitial chain space.  相似文献

We have studied the effect of the reducing gas (H2, CO and CH4) on the hydrogen production by thermo-oxidation of water over the 1%Rh/Ce0.6Zr0.4O2 catalyst prepared by impregnation. The catalyst is characterized by hydrogen chemisorption (Hc), before and after catalytic decomposition of water, temperature-programmed desorption, temperature-programmed reduction, X-ray diffraction and scanning electron microscopy. The catalyst is reduced in situ at 500 °C (4 h) under H2, CO or CH4 flows and flushed with Ar gas. Then, pulses of water (1 μL/pulse) are injected at 500 °C under Ar flow (30 mL/min). The results show clearly that the reducing gas has a strong effect on the H2 production which follows the order: H2?>?CH4?>?>?CO. H2 chemisorption measurements at room temperature highlight a strong metal–support interaction over fresh reduced catalysts which decreases after water decomposition (reduced centers?+?H2O?→?oxidized centers?+?H2).

To study the desorption mechanism of methane in coal by H2O injection and establish the Wiser molecular structure model of bituminous coal, the Grand Canonical Monte Carlo method was used to study the desorption behavior of CH4 in coal with different amounts of H2O injection at molecular scale. The results showed that at 293 K, the maximum adsorption capacity of H2O was about 16 mmol/g, and that of CH4 was about 8 mmol/g, which was about twice that of CH4. This indicates that H2O has a stronger adsorption capacity than CH4. For methane-bearing coal, when the amount of water injected is 100, the average relative concentration of CH4 is 0.5446, and the average relative concentration of CH4 decreases by 33.77% compared to the water content of 20. Under the same time conditions, the root mean square displacement and diffusion coefficient of CH4 decrease with the increase of H2O injection quantity. With the increase of H2O injection, the motion velocity of CH4 in vacuum layer decreased. When water was injected, methane was trapped in the coal by water. The more H2O injected, the more methane trapped in the coal, and the less methane desorption. This research lays a theoretical foundation for further research involving coal-water interaction.  相似文献

The thermal decomposition of the atmospheric constituent ethyl formate was studied by coupling flash pyrolysis with imaging photoelectron photoion coincidence (iPEPICO) spectroscopy using synchrotron vacuum ultraviolet (VUV) radiation at the Swiss Light Source (SLS). iPEPICO allows photoion mass-selected threshold photoelectron spectra (ms-TPES) to be obtained for pyrolysis products. By threshold photoionization and ion imaging, parent ions of neutral pyrolysis products and dissociative photoionization products could be distinguished, and multiple spectral carriers could be identified in several ms-TPES. The TPES and mass-selected TPES for ethyl formate are reported for the first time and appear to correspond to ionization of the lowest energy conformer having a cis (eclipsed) configuration of the O = C (H)– O – C (H2)–CH3 and trans (staggered) configuration of the O= C (H)– O – C (H2)– C H3 dihedral angles. We observed the following ethyl formate pyrolysis products: CH3CH2OH, CH3CHO, C2H6, C2H4, HC(O)OH, CH2O, CO2, and CO, with HC(O)OH and C2H4 pyrolyzing further, forming CO + H2O and C2H2 + H2. The reaction paths and energetics leading to these products, together with the products of two homolytic bond cleavage reactions, CH3CH2O + CHO and CH3CH2 + HC(O)O, were studied computationally at the M06-2X-GD3/aug-cc-pVTZ and SVECV-f12 levels of theory, complemented by further theoretical methods for comparison. The calculated reaction pathways were used to derive Arrhenius parameters for each reaction. The reaction rate constants and branching ratios are discussed in terms of the residence time and newly suggest carbon monoxide as a competitive primary fragmentation product at high temperatures.  相似文献

A set of pentacoordinated dimethyltin(IV) complexes of flexible N‐protected amino acids and fluorinated β‐diketone/β‐diketones was screened for their antibacterial activity against Pseudomonas aeruginosa , Staphylococcus aureus and Streptomyces griseus . These pentacoordinated complexes of the type Me2SnAB (where : R = CH(CH3)C2H5, A1H; CH2CH(CH3)2, A2H; CH(CH3)2, A3H; CH2C6H5, A4H; and BH = R'C(O)CH2C(O)R″: R′ = C6H5, R″ = CF3, B1H; R′ = R″ = CH3, B2H; R′ = C6H5, R″ = CH3, B3H; R′ = R″ = C6H5, B4H) were generated by the reactions of dimethyltin(IV) dichloride with sodium salts of flexible N‐protected amino acids (ANa) and fluorinated β‐diketone/β‐diketones (BNa) in 1:1:1 molar ratio in refluxing dry benzene solution. Plausible structures of these complexes were elucidated on the basis of physicochemical and spectral studies. 119Sn NMR spectral data revealed the presence of pentacoordinated tin centres in these dimethyltin(IV) complexes.  相似文献

This paper describes the studies on the extraction of molybdenum (VI) from aqueous nitric acid medium by (2-ethylhexyl) phosphonic acid, mono (2-ethylhexyl) ester (PC-88A). The extraction affecting parameters such as concentration of HNO3 in aqueous feed, effect of concentration of extractants, effect of diluents, and molybdenum concentration in the aqueous phase are investigated to optimize the extraction conditions for the quantitative separation of molybdenum from nitric acid medium. With increase of HNO3 concentration in aqueous phase, percentage extraction was found to be decreased in all the cases. Percentage extraction of molybdenum increases with increase in PC-88A concentration till the 0.15 M of PC88A, and after that it becomes constant. Kerosene and n-dodecane was found to be most suitable diluents. Among the various strippants used 0.2 M (w/v) solution of Na2CO3 and 0.2 M (w/v) solution (NH4)2CO3 are found to be the equally suitable for stripping of molybdenum from the loaded organic phase. The stripping of molybdenum from loaded organic layer by various reagents followed the order: (NH4)2CO3 >Na2CO3 >0.1 M sodium salt of EDTA >2 M NaOH >8 M HNO3. The optimized process conditions are employed to extract molybdenum (VI) from actual Davies–Gray waste as well as from diluted high level waste generated in the purex stream. More than 94% Mo(VI) was extracted from radioanalytical as well as from high level waste of purex process and quantitative recovery was achieved in both the cases when 0.2 M sodium carbonate was used as stripping agent.  相似文献

Two-phase additivity rule for radiation yields of p-nitrophenol, m-nitrophenol and p-nitrosophenol has been demonstrated. The data of partial radiation yields indicated that the nitrobenzene phase is by several times more reactive than a water phase /H2O, 3M HNO3 or 1.5M H2SO4/ in respect of nitrophenols formation.  相似文献
