A novel pyrazoline with benzimidazole substituent was conveniently synthesized, starting from a chalcone and 2-hydrazinylpyridine. The addition of Ni2+ to ethanol solution of the synthesized pyrazoline resulted in a rapid color change from blue to green which allows the selective detection of Ni2+ ion over a great number of other metal ions. The association constant for the 1:1 complex was determined to be 2.72 × 107 M?1. 相似文献

The preparation and utilization of a novel particulate label based on fluorescent hybrid silica (FHS) nanoparticles are reported in this article. These nanoparticles have shown several unique advantages over existing dye molecules, quantum dots, and latex-based fluorescent particles in easy preparation, good photostability and high sensitivity. A high molar ratio of the fluorescent molecules present in the core to biomolecules on the particle surface was achieved by using the well-developed silica surface immobilization chemistry for biomolecular linking. A fluoroimmunoassay method for detecting trace level Hepatitis B Surface Antigen (HBsAg) was developed. The calibration graph for HBsAg was linear over the range 0.5-220 ng/ml with a detection limit of 0.1 ng/ml. The sensitivity is greatly increased when compared with the corresponding immunoassay performed with direct fluorophore labeling. The present work shows that these FHS nanoparticles are high-quality markers for biochemical assays. 相似文献

In this study we describe a method for uranium dating (i.e. determination of the date of the last chemical purification undergone by the material) by measurement of the 230Th/234U ratio, applicable to sub-microgram quantities. The chosen protocol (AG1x8 resin in hydrochloric acid medium) has been tested on separation microcolumns (100 μl). This ‘microchemistry’ technique considerably limits the risks of contamination by reagents or the environment. Thorium extraction efficiencies were greater than 90 % and reproducible. The quantities of 230Th introduced by the chemical purification procedure were negligible. Using an ultra-sensitive inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry measurement technique, detection limits of the order of femtograms (10?15 g) of 230Th were obtained. The complete procedure, chemical separation and isotope measurement, was successfully tested and validated on a few micrograms of uranium. 相似文献

Two novel fluorescent Zn2+ chemosensors were synthesized in four steps from inexpensive starting materials. They exhibited very strong fluorescence responses to Zn2+ and had remarkably high selectivity to Zn2+ than other metal ions including Mg2+, Ca2+, Ni2+, Cu2+, and Cd2+. This work describes a two-step conjugate synthesis of a new fluorescent analog of microcystin-LR and its subsequent utilization for the development of an optical biosensor for cyanobacteria toxins. A novel chemosensor 1 (CS1) bearing one coumarin and two carbodithioate groups was synthesized and its fluorescent sensing behavior toward metal ions was investigated. Ag^+ addition to a CH3COCH3/H2O (3:7, v:v) solution of CS1 gave a significantly quenched fluorescence. Other ions including Pb^2+, Zn^2+, Cu^2+, Ca^2+, Cd^2+, Co^2+, Mg^2+, Mn^2+, Hg^2+, Ag^+, Ni^2+ induced no or much smaller spectral changes. We propose a 6D representation of protein sequences consisting of 20 amino acids. Based on this 6D representation, we propose a proteome distance measure for constructing phylogenic tree. And we make use of the corresponding similarity matrix to construct phylogenic tree. It is well known that zinc ions play an indispensable role in the structure and function of a large number of biological process and relevant bio-macromolecules. When some cancers occurred, the relevant concentration of zinc ions considerably decreased. Since cancer cells have a completely different redox homeostasis from normal cells, in this contribution, we have explored the possibility of bio-imaging or labeling of cancer cells through the in situ biosynthesized zinc nanoclusters by cancerous cells. The results demonstrate that we can readily realize the in vivo fluorescent bio-imaging of cancer cells through the in situ biosynthesis of the biocompatible zinc nanoclusters from cancerous cells (i.e., Hela cervical carcinoma cell line and others) when target cells cultured with micromolar zinc gluconate solutions. 相似文献

A new coumarin derivative containing piperazine and imidazole moieties is reported as a fluorophore for hydrogen ions sensing. The fluorescence enhancement of the studied sensor with an increase in hydrogen ions concentration is based on the hindering of photoinduced electron transfer from the piperazinyl amine and the imidazolyl amine to the coumarin fluorophore by protonation. The presented sensor has a novel design of fluorophore-spacer-receptor(1)-receptor(2) format, which is proposed to sense two ranges of pH (from 2.5 to 5.5) and (from 10 to 12) instead of sensing one pH range. A model compound, in which the piperazinyl ring is absent, was synthesized as well to confirm the novel pH sensing of the proposed sensor. 相似文献

Using a cellulosic material dating method recently proposed by three of the authors of the present article further applications to real samples are discussed. In the first instance, to wood samples, that is, to a type of sample for which the method was specifically developed but with the samples differing widely in age, and then to textile or paper samples. Synthetic zinc patina was grown on galvanized steel sheets in supercritical carbon dioxide atmosphere. Different patina compounds were dissolved and quantified using a stepwise immersion and dissolution procedure. The distinct patina components, namely anhydrous zinc carbonate (a dense layer adjacent to metallic zinc) and zinc hydroxy carbonate (nanowires on the surface), were dissolved in glycine solutions, followed by quantification of Zn2+ in the solutes by X‐ray fluorescence. The zinc hydroxy carbonate nanowires were readily glycine soluble, and the anhydrous zinc carbonate showed scarce glycine solubility, which enabled their selective quantification. The amount of the remaining (anhydrous) zinc carbonate after glycine extraction was determined from the glycine‐soluble zinc oxide after calcination (heat treatment for 10 minutes at 350°C). The results were verified by scanning electron microscopy imaging and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy measurements. 相似文献

Carboxyfluorescein (CF) and Calcein (CAL) have almost the same fluorescent spectrum. However, only CAL forms a nonfluorescent chelate with the Co2+ ion.
