The results of comparative kinetic experiments, homogeneity/heterogeneity testing data, and the relative substrate reactivity data for the Suzuki and Heck reactions are consistent with the participation of heterogeneous forms of the catalyst (colloidal palladium and larger palladium aggregates) in the Suzuki reaction. This is the reason why the Suzuki reaction occurs more readily than the Heck reaction. The data obtained in this study indicate that these reactions differ in the nature of catalyst deactivation processes.  相似文献

Site-selective Pd(0)-catalyzed reactions have been developed to functionalize a microelectrode array. Heck, Suzuki, and allylation reactions have all been accomplished. The reactions are compatible with both 1K and 12K arrays and work best when a nonsugar porous reaction layer is used. Suzuki reactions are faster than the Heck reactions and thus require more careful control of the reactions in order to maintain confinement. The allylation reaction requires a different confining agent than the Heck and Suzuki reactions but can be accomplished nicely with quinone as an oxidant for Pd(0).  相似文献

[reaction: see text] Sterically demanding, sulfonated arylphosphines TXPTS and TMAPTS have been applied to the aqueous-phase Heck and Suzuki coupling of aryl bromides. TXPTS provides good yields of Heck coupling products from aryl bromides at 80 degrees C, while both TMAPTS and TPPTS gave significantly less active catalysts. TXPTS is the first ligand to promote the aqueous-phase Heck coupling under such mild conditions. Both TXPTS and TMAPTS provide active catalysts for Suzuki couplings of aryl bromides at 50 degrees C.  相似文献

A polyaniline‐anchored palladium catalyst was prepared and screened for coupling reactions of aryl halides. The robust and recyclable catalyst was effective in Mizoroki–Heck and Suzuki–Miyaura reactions of aryl bromides and aryl iodides. The catalyst system was further employed for one‐pot Wittig–Heck and Wittig–Suzuki combinations to build conjugated compounds in good conversions. Copyright © 2014 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

In this article, palladium nanoparticles supported on agarose were used as an efficient catalyst for Heck–Matsuda and Suzuki–Miyaura coupling reactions of structurally different aryldiazonium tetrafluoroborate substrates in aqueous media. Heck–Matsuda reactions proceeded at 40°C whereas Suzuki‐Miyaura reactions were carried out at room temperature. Both reactions required low catalyst loading. The catalyst was also recycled for the model reaction for three runs. Copyright © 2012 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

The kinetic isotope effect (KIE) at the natural abundances of bromine and carbon isotopes in the substrates of the Heck and Suzuki reactions have been investigated to determine the true nature of catalyst in these reactions. Data processing has demonstrated that statistically significant differences between KIE values for the Suzuki reaction of nonactivated bromobenzene are observed upon the replacement of the soluble catalyst precursor with the insoluble one. This finding unambiguously indicates that the reaction takes place on heterogeneous palladium species. Similar experiments on the Heck reaction have demonstrated that the KIE values are insensitive to the nature of the catalyst precursor, which is consistent with the true homogeneous mechanism of catalysis.  相似文献

A new range of polar imidazolium and phosphate-containing ligands was synthesised from readily available starting materials in high yielding multi-step transformations. These ligands were used to generate Pd catalysts for Suzuki and Heck C–C coupling reactions in organic and organic/aqueous media. The catalysts performed well in aqueous media in the Suzuki reaction and less well in the Heck reaction, related to substrate solubility in the aqueous media. When moving to ionic liquids, the Heck reaction dramatically improved, especially in media compatible with the polar catalysts and the non-polar reagents. In all cases, the catalysts were stable to the formation of Pd black, a form of degradation that frequently befalls Pd catalysts. The catalysts could be successfully recycled without loss of activity.  相似文献

A new polymer-supported di(2-pyridyl)methylamine-palladium dichloride complex covalently anchored to a styrene-alt-maleic anhydride co-polymer is prepared. This complex catalyzes Heck, Suzuki and Sonogashira cross-coupling reactions in neat water with similar efficiency than the monomeric complex. The turnover number (TON) of this polymer reaches up to 104 for Heck reactions, whereas for Suzuki and Sonogashira couplings TONs up to 105 are achieved. There is low leaching of palladium after filtration of the polymer and the activity remains almost constant after fourth and five reaction cycles especially in Sonogashira reactions. In the case of the Suzuki reaction Pd nanoparticles are dispersed into the polymer after the first cycle according to TEM images and 2.4% of Pd are found by ICP-OES in the corresponding filtrate. Alternatively, these palladium-catalyzed reactions can also be performed under microwave heating. These couplings take place with better efficiency with polymer-supported di(2-pyridyl)methylamine-palladium dichloride complex than with the polyurea-encapsulated Pd EnCat™ 40.  相似文献

Cyclocarbopalladation/cross-coupling cascade intramolecular Heck–Suzuki–Miyaura reactions is applied for the first time by palladium immobilized on pyridine-imidazolium ionic liquid supported magnetic iron oxide nanoparticle catalyst (denoted Pd@Py-IL-SPION) for the last step to synthesize trisubstituted arylidene–isoquinolinones derivatives having Combretastatin skeleton. The reaction is performed via propargylamide intermediates prepared by Ugi 4-CR reactions, which undergoes intramolecular Heck–Suzuki–Miyaura domino reaction to produce the desired trisubstituted arylidene-isoquinolinones. The method shows full regio- and stereoselectivity derives from the particular Pd-catalyzed syn-insertion of triple bond.  相似文献

Silica‐supported terpyridine palladium(II) was prepared and used as an effective and recyclable catalyst in Mizoroki–Heck and Suzuki–Miyaura coupling reactions. The catalyst was very effective for the Mizoroki–Heck reaction of aryl halides with olefins and conversion was in most cases excellent. The catalyst showed good thermal stability (up to 230 °C) and could be recovered and reused for four reaction cycles. The Suzuki coupling of aryl iodides with aryl boronic acids in the presence of the catalyst was also investigated and the reaction proceeded with a short reaction time and excellent conversion. Herein we report a new method for the synthesis and characterization of PVP‐stabilized palladium(0) nanoclusters and their enhanced catalytic activity in Suzuki coupling and Heck reactions of aryl bromides with phenylboronic acid and styrene, respectively, under mild conditions. The PVP‐stabilized palladium(0) nanoclusters with a particle size of 4.5 ± 1.1 nm were prepared using a new method: refluxing a mixture of potassium tetrachloropalladate(II) and PVP in methanol at 80 °C for 1 h followed by reduction with sodium borohydride. Palladium(0) nanoclusters prepared in this way were stable in solution for weeks, could be isolated as solid materials and were characterized by TEM, XPS, UV–vis, and XRD techniques. The PVP‐stabilized palladium(0) nanoclusters were active catalysts in Heck and Suzuki coupling reactions of arylbromides with styrene and phenylboronic acid affording stilbenes and biphenyls, respectively, in high yield. Recycling experiments showed that PVP‐stabilized palladium(0) nanoclusters could be used five times with essentially no loss in activity in the Heck and Suzuki coupling reactions. An efficient and practical synthesis of N-alkyl and N-aryl 2-benzazepine has been developed. The key steps involved in the synthesis were palladium-mediated Heck reaction followed by aza heterocyclic ring construction by nucleophilic heteroannulation. This four-step sequence synthetic protocol gave moderate to good yields for a wide range of substrates. Subsequently, functionalization of the synthesized compound was carried out under Heck and Suzuki reaction conditions.  相似文献
