A non-aqueous oxidimetric method is described for the determination of some carboxylic acid phenylhydrazides with ammonium hexanitratocerate(IV) in acetonitrile. The end-points have been detected visually with chemical indicators (diphenylamine, diphenylbenzidine, Methyl Red, Malachite Green, Janus Green, Gentian Violet) and potentiometrically. The compounds are smoothly, rapidly and quantitatively oxidized with a two-electron change per hydrazino group. The method is simple, accurate, reliable and widely applicable.  相似文献

The action of morpholine on chloroacetyl derivatives of phenylhydrazides of diaryl- and dialkylglycolic acids gives hitherto undescribed morpholinoacetyl derivatives of the phenylhydrazides. Methiodides of a number of these compounds are prepared. The hitherto undescribed chloroacetyl derivatives of the phenylhydrazides of di(m-tolyl)-, di(o-anisyl)-, diamyl-, diheptyl-, and dioctylglycolic acids, and also the phenylhydrazide of diheptylglycolic acid are described.For Part XXVII see [1].  相似文献

The reaction of N-methyl-N-phenylhydrazides of N-acyl--phenyl--alanine with phosphorus oxychloride is accompanied by cleavage of the C-N bond in the intermediately formed 2-aminoindole derivative and, after splitting out of an amide fragment, leads to 1-methyl-3-benzylidene-2-iminoindoline and nitriles. Pyrimido [4,5-b] indoles — products of cyclization of the corresponding intermediate 2-aminoindole derivatives — were isolated from the reaction mixtures in low yields. The elimination of small neutral fragments from acetyl-, formyl- and ethoxycarbonyl- phenylhydrazines with formation of [C6H8N2]+? ions has been studied. Evidence is obtained from deuterium labelling and from metastable peak intensity ratios, to show that ketene loss from both acetylphenylhydrazines is accompanied (or preceded) by hydrogen transfer to the acylated nitrogen atom to give ions structurally analogous to the phenylhydrazine molecular ion. The decomposing [C6H8N2]+? ions formed from formyl- and ethoxycarbonylphenylhydrazines are also suggested to have a phenylhydrazine-like structure. In the molecular ion of phenylhydrazine interchange occurs between the two ortho hydrogen atoms and two of the three hydrazine hydrogens prior to decomposition; labelling data suggest that the N-1 hydrogen does not participate in the interchange process.  相似文献

Summary Nitrogen dioxide, nitrogen, monoxide, nitrogen trioxide, and nitrous oxide can be detected polarographically in anhydrous dimethylsulfoxide.
