On One Class of Systems of Differential Equations and on Retarded Equations

We establish a connection between solutions to a broad class of large systems of ordinary differential equations and solutions to retarded differential equations. We prove that solving the Cauchy problem for systems of ordinary differential equations reduces to solving the initial value problem for a retarded differential equation as the number of equations increases unboundedly. In particular, the class of systems under consideration contains a system of differential equations which arises in modeling of multiphase synthesis.     

Weak-renormalized solutions for predator–prey system

In this article, we consider the predator–prey system with Dirichlet boundary conditions which is used in the modelling of ecology. Under the assumptions of no growth conditions and integrable data, we prove the existence of weak-renormalized solutions to the predator–prey system.     

The equivalence of weak solutions and entropy solutions of nonlinear degenerate second-order equations

We prove the equivalence of weak solutions and entropy solutions of an elliptic-parabolic-hyperbolic degenerate equation with homogeneous Dirichlet conditions and initial conditions. As a result of the equivalence, we obtain the L¹-contraction principle and uniqueness of weak solutions of elliptic-parabolic degenerate equations.

In this paper,we introduce the signed weak gliding hump property in a dual pair with the sturcture of a system of sections and show that if a dual pair [E,F] has the signed weak gliding hump property,then the β-dual space of E is a weak sequentially complete space if and only if for every n ∈N,(F^[n],σ(F^[n],E^[n]))is sequentially complete,Furthermore,we also prove that if [E,F] has the signed weak gliding hump property,then (E,τ(E,F^（β）)is an AK-space.

Asymptotic Behavior of Large Weak Entropy Solutions of the Damped p-system

The asymptotic behavior of solutions of the damped p-system is known to be described by a nonlinear diffusion equation. The previous works on this topic concern either the case of small smooth data where estimates of high-order derivatives are available by energy methods or the case of special and small rough data. For large data, the existence of solutions is proved by using the method of compensated compactness. Thus the above mentioned energy estimates are not expected. However, the compensated compactness gives a very weak justification (in the mean in time) of the asymptotics. In the present paper we prove that the natural energy estimates, which does not involve derivatives, combined with this “convergence in the mean”, gives the strong convergence in L^p_{loc} space (p is finite) as expected.     

Existence and uniqueness of solutions of reaction–convection equations with non-Lipschitz nonlinearity

In this work we study single balance law _ut+∇⋅Φ(u)=f(u)$u_t+\mathrm{\nabla }\cdot \Phi (u)=f(u)$ with bounded initial value, and find that there may exist maximal and minimal solutions, if f(u)$f(u)$ is not Lipschitz continuous at u=0$u=0$. We also show that comparison principle is valid for such solutions, and the solutions may blow up or not under certain conditions. It is determined by the strength of source supply, as well as the competition between the source and flux.     

Uniqueness of Solutions for Semiconductor Equations with Avalanche Term

In this paper, we consider the initial and mixed boundary value problems for the semiconductor equations with avalanche term, the uniqueness of the weak solution for the semiconductor equation has been proved.

本文讨论含有溶质的流体在两层多孔介质中的渗流问题，即（θ（x，U）t=（K（x，U）Ux-K（x，U））x，（x，t）∈GT，（θ（x，U）V（x，t）t=（DθVx）x-（V（KUx-K））x，（x，t）∈GT，U（x，0）=U0（x），V（x，0）=V0（x），0≤x≤2，U（0，t）-h0（t），U（2，t）=h2（t），0≤t≤T，V（0，t）=g0（t），V（2，t）=g2（t），0≤t≤T。其中θ（x,U)=θ1(x,U)，当（x,t)∈D1=｛0≤x≤1,0≤t≤T｝；θ（x,U)=θ2(x,U)当（x,t）∈D2＋1｛1＜x≤2，0≤t≤T｝。K（x,U)=K1(x,U)当（x,t)∈D1;K(x,U)=K2(x,U)，当(x,t)∈D2。θi，Ki分别是Di上的介质含水率及水力传导率，V是溶质的浓度，此外还要求U，V，K（x,U)(Ux-1)及DθVx V(KUx-K)在x=1连续。     

The Existence of Weak Solutions to the 2D Euler Equations with Initial Vorticity in BMO

We shall prove that there exists a weak solution to the 2D Euler equations with initial vorticity in BMO and initial velocity in L^∞.     

Very Weak Solutions of p-Laplacian Type Equations with VMO Coefficients

In this note we obtain a new a priori estimate for the very weak solutions of p-Laplacian type equations with VMO coefficients when p is close to 2, and then prove that the very weak solutions of such equations are the usual weak solutions. Our approath is based on the Hodge decomposition and the L^p-estimate for the corresponding linear equations. And this also provides a simpler proof for the results in [1].     

拟线性退化抛物方程Cauchy问题的解

对来自金融数学领域的方程_xxu+u_yu-_tu=c（x,y,t,u）,（x,y,t）∈Q_T=R²×[0,T)的Cauchy问题,给出了一种新的熵解的定义,得到了其适定性结果.可以证明所得到的解还是强解,即方程中所出现的各阶偏导数几乎处处连续.最后讨论了解的爆破性质以及与解的间断点相关的几何性质.     

一般退化时滞微分系统解的存在性及通解

研究退化时滞系统Ex（t）=Ax（t）＋Bx（t-1）＋f（t）（t≥0），x（t）=（t)-1≤t≤0），其中E、A、B∈Rm×n，x（t）∈Rn，f（t）∈Rm．给出了上述系统解的存在性条件及通解表达式．
