Under non-relativistic conditions,the properties of adiabatic solutions of the Schrodinger equation in moving frame of reference and the behaviours of the corresponding Berry's Phase are analysed.Two cases of translation and rotation are discussed in detail,which show that the existence of Berry's phase depends on the choice of frame of reference.While Bitter and Dubbers's experiment is explained by the first-order approximation in our discussion,the nonadiabatic effects in this experiment are predicted by the second-order approximation when the adiabatic condition is broken.  相似文献

By studying the Born-Oppenheimer equation for a neutral spin-1/2 particle moving in a spherically symmetrical magnetic field,the non-Abelian Berry's connection in the internal space is found.In the adiabatic approximation,it displays the role of Wu-Yang's monopole.The dynamics for the configurational space is studied by using the concept of section in fibre bundle.Though the angular momentum and energy are quantized,their values are moved.The origination of this phenomenon is geometrical.  相似文献

Considering that the classical evolution equations are similar to the Schrodinger eqaution,we point out that there is the structure of the Berry's Phase in the solution of a classical evolution eqaution with adiabatic changing parameters.Thus,we can use a classical evolution process to imitate the quantum adiabatic process.As an example,the motion of a charged particle in slowly-changing magnetic field is studied and the corresponding phase factor can be interpreted as a holomony of the fiber bundle on the sphare s2 in the parameter space.  相似文献

The feature of Manton's lattice action in the SU(5) four-dimensional lattice gauge theory is investigated by means of Monte Carlo simulation. A rather smooth curve of the internal energy is obtained, no discontinuity in the average action perplaquette is found in opposition to the resultes of usually adopted Wilson's action. By making use of the improved Born-Oppenheimer approximate method, we deal with the separation of spin variable and space variable of neutral particle with arbitrary spin in inhomogeneous magnetic field and non-adiabatic corrections for the problems are thereby computed as perturbations. We also analysis the geometrical properties of loop phase of the induced gauge potential and point out its observable effects relating to Bitter and Dubbers'experiment. Finally, we discuss the transitions between the instantaneous spin states as non-adiabatic effects resulting from inhomogeneity of the magnetic field.  相似文献

The induced topological action relevant to the non-Abelian Berry's phase factor (NABPF) is derived by combining the high-order adiabatic approximation (HOAA) method with Kuratsuji and Iida's adiabatic path integral formulation. The non-adiabatic corrections for the transition amplitude are thereby obtained and the corresponding graphic representations are defined for convenience in the calculation. The gauge invariant properties and the dynamical implications of the non-Abelian induced topological action are also analyzed in detail.Finally, some explicit calculations for a model of physics are carried out as examples.  相似文献

We discuss the non-adiabatic or entropy perturbation, which controls the evolution of the curvature perturbation in the uniform density gauge, for a scalar field system minimally coupled to gravity with non-canonical action. We highlight the differences between the sound and the phase speed in these systems, and show that the non-adiabatic pressure perturbation vanishes in the single field case, resulting in the conservation of the curvature perturbation on large scales.  相似文献

In this paper the stress-energy tensors of curvature and of torsion are introduced.We may derived a model of strong gravity from Einstein's equation with the stress-energy tensor of torsion,while Einstein's equation with the stressenergy tensor of curvature is an inconsistent equation.This conclusion is different from the Poincare gauge theories of gravitation,in which the curvature is directly proportional to the strong coupling.  相似文献

In this paper, gauge constrained conditions and quantization of SU(N) gauge theories are analysed by means of Dirac's formalism. In the framework of algebraic dynamics, gauge invariance, Gauss law and Ward identities are discussed. With use of the version of conservation law in correlation dynamics, the conserved Gauss law and Ward identities related to residual gauge invariance can be transformed into initial value problems.  相似文献

In this paper,the color symmetry of stratons for a theoretical model proposed some times ago is investigated.This symmetry contains two kinds of transformations, the first is color gauge transformations which leave the color mumber of stratons conserved,the second is color permutations which indicate the equivaluence of dif- ferent color stratons.The structure of this symmetry group(S3α)is investigated.The irreducible representations(IR's)of S3α and the reduction of their direct product are given.The relation between IR's of S3α and those of color U(3)group is discussed. In a simplest physical model only two neutral vector gluons are needed and the super-strong ihteraetions among stratons exhibit saturation properties similar to but somewhat different from the case of the Han-Nambu model.Not only the color singlet, but also other color neutral states belonging to IR's 2 or 1 of S3α all belong to the lowest energy level of the super-strong interactions.If there were eight degenerate vector gluons belonging to IR's 2 and 6,the Han-Nambu model would be reproduced.  相似文献

We discuss a model of quantum chromodynamics in 1+1 dimension.Using't Hooft's 1/N expansion and considering the effects of the infrared structure in non-Abelian gauge theories by assuming that the coupling g2t)~1/tκ-1,the Straton's Pro-pagator and the Bethe-Salpeter equation of mesons are obtained;the propertiesof the meson wave functions and their characteristics are also discussed.From thebehaviour of the electromagnetic form factors and the deep inelastic scattering struc-ture functions obtained,it follows that κ≤2.  相似文献
