By using a full quantum approach based on the time-dependent Hartree approximation and the semidiscrete multiple-scale method, we study quantum nonlinear excitations in a one-dimensional ferromagnetic chain with octupole-dipole interaction and on-site uniaxial anisotropy. We find that quantum solitons and breathers can exist in the ferromagnetic chain, and analyze existence conditions of these excitations. Since the system states corresponding to quantum breathers are stationary states, we can get the energy level formula of such quantum breathers.  相似文献

Bright and dark spatial solitons are observed in an optically pumped semiconductor resonator. The pumping allows us to reduce considerably the light intensity necessary for the existence of the solitons and alleviates thermal load problems. Experiments are found to agree qualitatively with calculations based on a simple large-aperture semiconductor resonator model. The role of the signs of the absorptive and reactive nonlinearities in soliton existence is discussed in relation to the nonlinear resonance effect, the tilted-wave mechanism of pattern formation, and the sign of the population inversion.  相似文献

A stepwise change in the ferromagnetic resonance spectrum in a K0.4[Cr(CN)6][Mn(S)-pn](S)-pnH0.6 chiral magnet has been observed in a critical microwave magnetic field of 1.8 Oe. The threshold changes in the ferromagnetic resonance spectra are caused by Suhl instability leading to the generation of defects of the magnetic structure, chiral spin solitons. The threshold effect is not observed in the same microwave range in similar chiral crystals [Cr(CN)6][Mn(S)-pnH(H2O)](H2O) with a stronger Heisenberg exchange interaction.  相似文献

利用行波解法,研究了考虑交换各向异性和单离子各向异性的一维铁磁链,得出椭圆函数波解和孤子解,并讨论了单离子各向异性对椭圆函数波和孤子的影响.研究表明:单离子各向异性对一维铁磁链中椭圆函数波和孤子的激发及其稳定性有显著影响.单离子各向异性不利于易轴铁磁链中椭圆函数波和孤子解的激发,但有利于它们的稳定;而在易平面铁磁链中,单离子各向异性使椭圆函数波和孤子激发变得容易,但不利于它们的稳定.此外,还讨论了单离子各向异性对一维各向同性铁磁链中的孤子激发具有的影响. 关键词: 各向异性 单离子各向异性 孤子 铁磁链  相似文献

Microwave spin-wave envelope dark solitons were experimentally observed for the first time. Dark solitons with zero minimum amplitude were generated by two-frequency excitation of input spin waves with a fixed amplitude. Nonlinear interaction between these two traveling waves gave rise to periodic sequences of dark solitons in a ferromagnetic film.  相似文献

Nonlinear phenomena that arise during the propagation of spin waves in thin ferromagnetic films under conditions of the simultaneous existence of three-wave and four-wave parametric processes have been investigated. Investigations have been performed for single-frequency and double-frequency regimes of excitation of intense spin waves. The spontaneous modulation instability of the monochromatic running spin wave has been revealed for the first time at frequencies at which three-wave decay processes are allowed. The pronounced generation of a periodic sequence of bright spin wave solitons has been observed under excitation of two monochromatic spin waves at the same frequencies.  相似文献

The peculiarities of the ferromagnetic resonance of an amorphous ferromagnet in which a certain number of atoms forms the two-level systems are studied. The logarithmic dependence upon the temperature and the applied magnetic field of the frequency shift of the ferromagnetic resonance is obtained. The comparison of this theoretical dependence with experimental results gives a chance of the direct examination of the idea of the existence of the two-level systems. The dependence upon the temperature and the magnetic field of the frequency linewidth is also calculated.  相似文献

Using a recently published theory, the existence of a significant magnon-induced pseudoquadrupolar interaction in a new ferromagnetic system is predicted. A large magnetization-dependent quadrupole-like term, attributed to the predicted magnon-induced mechanism, is actually observed in a resonance study of 55Mn in the ferromagnetic phase of BMn.  相似文献

We study solitons in a spin-1 Bose–Einstein condensates with SU(3) spin–orbit coupling. We obtain the ground state and the metastable solution for solitons with attractive interactions by the imaginary-time evolution method. Compared with the SU(2) spin–orbit coupling, it is found that the solitons in SU(3) spin–orbit coupling show a new feature due to breaking the symmetry. The solitons called the composite solitons have mixing manifolds of ferromagnetic and antiferromagnetic states. This has stimulated people to study the topological excitation properties of SU(3) spin–orbit coupling and it is expected to find new quantum phases.  相似文献

The values of the effective magnetization and uniaxial induced anisotropy were measured on permalloy films, vacuum deposited on unheated glass slides, by the method of local ferromagnetic resonance. The double resonance curves of these films indicate the existence of two magnetically different components; to both components there correspond different values of the effective magnetization and uniaxial anisotropy. These quantities have different local and time variations for each component. The results of measurement agree with the recently proposed model of the stratification of thin ferromagnetic films.The authors thank J. Kaczér and F. Kroupa for valuable discussions.  相似文献

Magnetic resonance studies of polyimide films thermally decomposed in flowing N2 at 520°C reveal the presence of two very different magnetic resonance spectra at room temperature. One spectra is a sharp temperature independent paramagnetic resonance line having a g value of 1.990, typical of a free radical. The other much broader line centered at lower field displays a marked broadening and shift to lower magnetic field as the temperature is lowered, characteristic of a ferromagnetic resonance (FMR) signal. Measurements of the AC susceptibility as a function of magnetic field strength confirm the existence of ferromagnetism at room temperature. Magnetic force microscope (MFM) imaging at room temperature show evidence of long thin ferromagnetic regions in the decomposed polymer.  相似文献

Topological excitations play a crucial role in antiferromagnetic chains. In the present review, we focus on the dynamical fluctuations induced by these quasi-particles, trying to show how they can be observed experimentally. In particular the pulsed nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) technique can probe these fluctuations at very low frequency. In the same context, neutron spin echo (NSE) measurements are briefly mentioned. A discussion of soliton magnetic resonance (SMR) measurements in also presented: they reveal the existence of internal precessions in the solitons (Dyons) and they show that the uniform (q=0) soliton modes can be detected directly. The experimental data to be discussed were obtained on three compounds: TMMC which provides good examples for “broad” solitons and CsCoCl3 for “narrow” solitons. We show both theoretically and experimentally in an optical fiber system that a noninstantaneous nonlinear environment supports the existence of spectral incoherent solitons. Contrary to conventional solitons, spectral incoherent solitons do not exhibit a confinement in the spatiotemporal domain, but exclusively in the frequency domain. The theory reveals that the causality condition inherent to the nonlinear response function is the key property underlying the existence of spectral incoherent solitons. These solitons constitute nonequilibrium stable states of the incoherent field and are shown to be robust with respect to binary collisions.  相似文献

We present a study of the ferromagnetic spin chain with both first- and second-neighbor interactions. We obtain the condition for the appearance and stability of bright and dark solitons for arbitrary wave number in the Brillouin zone. The influence of the second-neighbor interaction and the anisotropy on the soliton properties is considered. The scattering of dark solitons from point defects in the discrete spin chain is investigated numerically.  相似文献

This is a complex study of the electrophysical and magnetic characteristics of epitaxial manganite La0.7Ba0.3MnO3 (LBMO) films under conditions of crystal structure stresses caused by misfit in the lattice parameters of the LBMO crystal and a substrate. The substrate used had the lattice parameter smaller than that in the LBMO crystal. It is shown that the temperature dependence of the electrical resistance of the films at low temperatures is not dependent on the existence of stresses in the film and agrees well with the calculation with allowance made for the interaction of carriers with magnetic excitations in the presence of strongly correlated electronic states. The study of the ferromagnetic resonance line indicates an inhomogeneity of the ferromagnetic phase in the LBMO films and the increase in the ferromagnetic resonance line width with decreasing temperature.  相似文献

The interaction of bright solitons with impurities in the on-site anisotropy of a ferromagnetic chain is studied. This type of impurities leads to linear and nonlinear perturbing terms in the corresponding nonlinear Schrödinger equation. We have found static soliton-impurity bound states and considered the conditions for their formation. For large values of the anisotropy the character of the impurities is mainly linear. The interaction of propagating solitons with the impurities is also investigated. We have obtained that the solitons can be transmitted, trapped or reflected. The behavior depends on the soliton velocity and width, magnetic parameters and the impurity strength.  相似文献

Exact analytical results are presented for the nonlinear large motion of the magnetization vector in a body with uniaxial symmetry subject to a circularly polarized field. The absence of chaos, the existence of pure time-harmonic magnetization modes with no generation of higher-order harmonics, and the existence of quasiperiodic magnetization modes with spontaneous breaking of the rotational symmetry are proven. Application to ferromagnetic resonance and connection with the Stoner-Wohlfarth model are discussed.  相似文献

We investigate analytically and numerically the existence and stability properties of three-wave solitons resulting from double-resonance (type I plus type II) parametric interaction in a purely quadratic nonlinear medium. The existence of a family of stable solitons for the double-resonance model is demonstrated in a broad parameter range. Moreover, these solitons are shown to exhibit multistability, a feature that is potentially useful for optical switching applications. Finally, we find and present a novel family of quasi solitons.  相似文献
