Let Mn be a totally real pseudo-umbilical submanifold in a complex projective space CPn＋p. In this paper, we study the position of completeness of Mn. By choosing a suitable frame field, we obtain a rigidity theorem such that Mn becomes totally umbilical submanifold and improve the related results.     

Quantum Real Projective Space, Disc and Spheres

We define the C ^*-algebra of quantum real projective space R P _q ², classify its irreducible representations, and compute its K-theory. We also show that the q-disc of Klimek and Lesniewski can be obtained as a non-Galois Z ₂-quotient of the equator Podle quantum sphere. On the way, we provide the Cartesian coordinates for all Podle quantum spheres and determine an explicit form of isomorphisms between the C ^*-algebras of the equilateral spheres and the C ^*-algebra of the equator one.

Projective geometry and the theory of physical structures

In this paper, we establish connection between s-metric physical structures of rank (s + 3, 2) and projective geometry. In particular, we find explicit functional relations determining phenomenological symmetry. For s = 1, this relation is expressed in terms of the anharmonic ratio of four points. We prove that these functional relations lead to the group of projective transformations.     

Integral Geometry of Real Surfaces in the Complex Projective Plane

We give a Poincaré formula for any real surfaces in the complex projective plane which states that the mean value of the intersection numbers of two real surfaces is equal to the integral of some terms of their Kähler angles.

Radon, Cosine and Sine Transforms on Real Hyperbolic Space

New pointwise inversion formulae are obtained for the d-dimensional totally geodesic Radon transform on the n-dimensional real hyperbolic space, 1dn−1, in terms of polynomials of the Laplace–Beltrami operator and intertwining fractional integrals. Similar results are established for hyperbolic cosine and sine transforms.     

The X-Ray Transform for a Generic Family of Curves and Weights

We study the weighted integral transform on a compact manifold with boundary over a smooth family of curves Γ. We prove generic injectivity and a stability estimate under the condition that the conormal bundle of Γ covers T ^* M. Compactification of Strictly Convex Real Projective Structures

Projective Vector Fields on Lorentzian Manifolds

Some relations between the causal character of projective vector fields and curvature on a Lorentzian manifold M are studied. As a consequence, obstructions to the existence of such vector fields are found. Affine, homothetic and Killing vector fields are considered specifically.     

Real Polarizable Hodge Structures Arising from Foliations

We construct real polarizable Hodge structures on the reduced leafwisecohomology of Kähler–Riemann foliations by complex manifolds. As inthe classical case one obtains a hard Lefschetz theorem for thiscohomology. Serre's Kählerin analogue of the Weil conjectures carriesover as well. Generalizing a construction of Looijenga and Lunts oneobtains possibly infinite-dimensional Lie algebras attached toKähler–Riemann foliations.Finally using ( , K)-cohomology wediscuss a class of examples obtained by dividing a product of symmetricspaces by a cocompact lattice and considering the foliations coming fromthe factors.     

A Filtration on the Chow Groups of a Complex Projective Variety

Let X/ _C be a projective algebraic manifold, and further let CH ^k (X) _Q be the Chow group of codimension k algebraic cycles on X, modulo rational equivalence. By considering Q-spreads of cycles on X and the corresponding cycle map into absolute Hodge cohomology, we construct a filtration {F ^l}_{l 0} on CH ^k (X) _Q of Bloch-Beilinson type. In the event that a certain conjecture of Jannsen holds (related to the Bloch-Beilinson conjecture on the injectivity, modulo torsion, of the Abel–Jacobi map for smooth proper varieties over Q), this filtration truncates. In particular, his conjecture implies that F ^k+1 = 0.     

A twistor correspondence and Penrose transform for odd-dimensional hyperbolic space

For odd-dimensional hyperbolic space , we construct transforms between the cohomology of certain line bundles on (a twistor space for ) and eigenspaces of the Laplacian and of the Dirac operator on . The transforms are isomorphisms. As a corollary we obtain that every eigenfunction of or on extends as a holomorphic eigenfunction of the corresponding holomorphic operator on a certain region of the complexification of . We also obtain vanishing theorems for the cohomology of a class of line bundles on .
