Homotopically nontrivial solutions for a spherically symmetric gravitational field

The structure of kink solutions to the Einstein field equations is discussed and the most general form of spherically symmetric kink metric is constructed. A number of fluid solutions are investigated and an imperfect fluid solution with nonzero heat conduction is presented.     

Does a massive vector field imply spontaneous symmetry breaking?

Working in the classical tree approximation and for the Abelian case only we indicate the existence of converse routes to the Higgs mechanism. In particular, we show how a carefully formulated compatibility between gauge invariance and massiveness of a vector field leads to spontaneous breakdown of the local symmetry.     

A class of nontrivial weakly local massive wightman fields with interpolating properties

It is shown that in a quantum field theory satisfying Wightman's axioms with locality replaced by weak locality and cyclicity by a weak irreducibility, every unitary Poincaré invariant and CPT-invariant operator is a scattering operator (in the LSZ-sense). The proof is given by explicit construction of a corresponding class of nontrivial weakly local massive Wightman fields. This result implies Jost's conjecture that only locality leads to nontrivial restrictions for the scattering operator and extends corresponding results of Schneider.     

A class of asymptotic solution for the time delay wind field model of an ocean

A time delay model of a two-layer barotropic ocean with Rayleigh dissipation is built. Using the improved perturba- tion method, an analytic asymptotic solution of a better approximate degree is obtained in the mid-latitude wind field, and the physical meaning of the corresponding solution is also discussed.     

The relationship between field theory in the simplest space-times with a nontrivial topology and field theory at a finite temperature

It is shown that the main results of papers dealing with quantum field theory in space-time with topology S¹ × R³ and in flat space-time with parallel conducting plates can be obtained from field theory at a finite temperature. The new consequences of this fact are discussed.     

Internal symmetries and the conservation laws for the classical theory of a vector field of general type

A study is made of a six-parameter internal-symmetry group of the classical theory of a vector field of general type (and its nonlinear generalizations). The class of exact cosmological models with a scalar-field nonlinearity induced by the Yang-Mills field

A new class of exact solutions of the system of Einstein-Yang-Mills equations and the equations of a nonlinear scalar field interacting with the Yang-Mills SO(3) field is obtained on the basis of the Friedman spatially homogeneous cosmological models.     

The general metric for a space-time with a constant vector field

The most general metric that admits a vector field with zero covariant derivative is derived. Some special cases are exhibited.     

Configurations with a vector field in the Einstein-Cartan theory

The properties of self-gravitating distributions of an ideal fluid charged by a vector field which is either massive or massless, i.e., electromagnetic, are considered taking account of the spin properties of the vector field in the framework of the Einstein-Cartan theory of gravitation. Conditions for equilibrium are found and the corresponding exact solutions are obtained. A complete system of first integrals of the corresponding equations of motion is found for dynamical distributions in the absence of pressure. A theorem on the correspondence between the dynamics of an electrically charged ideal fluid with a limiting equation of state and the dynamics of a free massive vector field is also proved.Translated from Izvestiya Vysshikh Uchebnykh Zavedenii, Fizika, No. 8, pp. 7–11, August, 1979.     

An iterative method of the solution of Ising lattice models in a magnetic field

A special re-writing of the sum of δ-functions gives a new graphical representation of thermodynamic quantities. The lowering of the number of points on the reference lattice spin in this representation leads to an iterative scheme by use of which equations for correlation functions and for the order parameter are obtained.     

A globally accurate theory for a class of binary mixture models

The self-consistent Ornstein-Zernike approximation results for the 3D Ising model are used to obtain phase diagrams for binary mixtures described by decorated models, yielding the plait point, binodals, and closed-loop coexistence curves for the models proposed by Widom, Clark, Neece, and Wheeler. The results are in good agreement with series expansions and experiments.     

精确求解级联型三能级原子与单模相干态光场场熵的演化特性

本文利用全量子理论,在非旋波近似下对单模相干态光场与级联型三能级原子相互作用过程中场熵随时间的演化进行了精确求解.数值计算的结果表明：随着初始时刻平均光子数n以及光场与原子的耦合强度u, v的增大,场熵的平均值先增大后减小,因此纠缠度也同样先增大后减小;随着失谐量Δ的增大,场熵的平均值逐渐减小,因此纠缠度也逐渐减小. 关键词： 相干态正交化展开 非旋波近似 场熵     

A generalized positive energy theorem for spaces with asymptotic SUSY compactification

In this short note, we prove a generalized positive energy theorem for spaces with asymptotic SUSY compactification involving non-symmetric data. This work is motivated by the work of Dai [A positive mass theorem for spaces with asymptotic SUSY compactification, Comm. Math. Phys. 244 (2004) 335–345; A note on positive energy theorem for spaces with asymptotic SUSY compactification, 2004. arXiv:math-ph/0406006], Hertog–Horowitz–Maeda [Negative energy density in Calabi–Yau compactifications, JHEP 0305 (2003) 060], and Zhang [Angular momentum and positive mass theorem, Comm. Math. Phys. 206 (1999) 137–155].     

一类扰动发展方程近似解

采用了一个简单而有效的技巧, 研究了一类扰动发展方程. 首先引入求解一个相应典型方程的行波孤波解. 然后利用渐近方法得到了原扰动发展方程的近似解. 利用泛函分析的不动点定理, 指出了近似解级数的收敛性, 并讨论了近似解的精度.     

Self duality solution with a Higgs field

The self-duality concept for the Higgs field is handled in the presence of contact geometry in 5 dimensions.A non-trivial SO(3) Higgs field lives only on the fifth dimension of the contact manifold because of the contact structure, while the SD Yang-Mills field lives in the 4-dimensional hyperplane of the contact manifold. The Higgs and SD Yang-Mills fields do not interact with one another.
