The values of the Slater-Condon (F2, F4, F6), Racah (E1, E2, E3) and Lande ξ4f coefficients the nephelauxetic ratio (β), the bonding parameter (σ), and the Judd-Ofelt intensity (Tλ) parameters have been calculated from the reported absorption spectra of Pr3+, Nd3+, and Er3+ ions in an aprotic solvent SeOCl2 acidified with antimony pentachloride. The nature of the bonding is suggested to be covalent for praseodymium, neodymium and erbium ions in the laser liquid in view of the magnitude of the respective bonding parameters.  相似文献

We report here the luminescence spectra of certain rare earth ions (Eu3+, Tb3+ & Ho3+) doped B2O3-BaO-LiF/AiF3 based on the measurements of emission and decay curves of prominent emission transitions. For both the reference host glasses, FTIR, XRD, DTA-TG profiles have been recorded to understand their structural and thermal properties. Eu3+ doped glasses have shown five emission transitions of 5D07F01,2,3 & 4 located at 580nm, 593nm, 615nm, 655nm and 704nm respectively with an excitation at λexci = 392 nm (7F05L6). Also under an UV source, these europium glasses have displayed a bright red emission from their surfaces. Tb3+ glasses have exhibited four emission bands of 5D47F6,5,4,3 at 491nm, 547nm, 588nm and 625nm respectively with an excitation at λexci = 376 nm (7F65G6). Intense green emission from the glass surfaces has been noticed upon exposure to the UV source. Prominently bluish-green emission has been noticed from the surfaces of the holmium glasses under an UV source and same emission transition (5F45I8) at 519 nm with an excitation at λexci = 389 nm (5I85G4) has also been obtained from their measured emission spectra. For all the prominent emissions of the rare earth glasses, decay curves have been measured to compute their lifetimes.  相似文献

CaAl12O19 powders doped with Er3+, Yb3+, and Mg2+ ions have been prepared by a low-temperature combustion synthesis technique. Formation and chemical compositions were analysed by powder X-ray diffraction and energy-dispersive spectroscopy. The visible luminescence spectra of the doped phosphor upon excitation with ∼378 nm radiation from a Xenon lamp have been studied. A broad band emission in the range of 1400–1700 nm with a peak around 1.5 μm and FWHM of about ∼80 nm responsible for the eye-safe telecommunication window has been observed upon direct excitation with a NIR laser into the 4I11/2 level of Er3+. The effect of co-doping with Yb3+ and Mg2+ ions in the CaAl12O19:Er3+ matrix on the photoluminescence intensity corresponding to the 2H11/2,4S3/24I15/2, 4F9/24I15/2 and 4I13/24I15/2 transitions of Er3+ is elaborated and discussed in detail.  相似文献

With the help of absorption and fluorescence spectra, the spectroscopic properties of Tm3+, Ho3+:YVO4 crystals have been investigated under different dopant concentrations. The absorption results show that the maximum absorption in the spectral range of currently available powerful laser diodes (LD) is at 796 nm, corresponding to the transition 3H63H4 of Tm3+ in the crystals. Upon the excitation with a LD at 808 nm, we have detected ten fluorescence bands in the spectral range spanning from visible to infrared. In visible region 4 upconversion bands have been observed centered at 475, 547, 660, and 701 nm. Discussions of the energy transfer processes suggest that cross relaxations and excited absorptions with the involvement of Tm3+ 3F4, 3H5 and Ho3+ 7I5 states are responsible for the four upconversion emissions. Comprising the relative integrated intersities of 2 μm (Ho3+: 5I75I8) and 1.8 μm (Tm3+: 3F_4→3H6) bands we have observed an efficient energy transfer from Tm3+ (3F4) to Ho3+ (5I7). Examination of the ratios of the intensity of 2 μm band to that of 1.8 μm band as a function of the ratios of Tm3+ concentration (cTm) to Ho3+ concentration (cHo) indicates that small concentration ratios (cTm/cHo) lead to high efficient energy transfers of Tm3+(3F4)→Ho3+(5I7).  相似文献

Visible photoluminescence (PL) has been observed from rare earth (Tm, Sm and Dy)-doped AlN films grown by radio-frequency magnetron reactive sputtering. X-ray diffraction indicates that the films are c-axis-oriented hexagonal wurtzite type structure with an average crystal size of about 80--110nm. Room-temperature PL spectra indicate that the blue emission is due to the transition of 1D2 to 3F4 and 1G2 to 3H6 intra 4f electron of Tm3+, the yellow emissions of AlN:Sm are due to 4G5/2 to the 6HJ (J = 5/2, 7/2, 9/2, 11/2) and the reddish emissions of AlN:Dy correspond to the 4F9/2 to 6HJ (J = 15/2, 13/2, 11/2 and 9/2) and 6F11/2 transitions.  相似文献

X-ray absorption spectroscopy technique is employed to determine the valence of the rare earth ions in EuCu2Si2, YbCu2Si2 and Sm4Bi3. In each case, two absorption peaks corresponding to two different valence states of respective rare earth ions have been observed. Low temperature (77 K) study of EuCu2Si2 indicates distinct change in the relative intensities of the absorption peaks compared to those registered at room temperature (300 K). It is inferred from the change in the relative intensities that the population of Eu2+ in EuCu2Si2 decreases at liquid nitrogen temperature compared to Eu3+. Conclusions drawn from these results agree well with those reported by others using different experimental techniques. In Sm4Bi3, Sm2+ and Sm3+ are found to occur in the ratio of 3:1.  相似文献

NaYF4:Yb3+, Er3+ nanoparticles were successfully prepared by a polyol process using diethyleneglycol (DEG) as solvent. These NaYF4:Yb3+, Er3+ nanoparticles can be coated with mesoporous silica using nonionic triblock copolymer EO20PO70EO20 (P 123) as structure-directing agent and other materials. The composites can load ibuprofen and release the drug in the phosphate buffer solution (PBS). The composites were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), nitrogen absorption/desorption isotherms, fluorescence spectra, and UV/Vis absorption spectra, respectively. The composites have the mesoporous structure. In addition, the composites emit red fluorescence (from Er3+) under 980 nm near infrared laser excitation, which can be used as fluorescent probes in the drug-delivery system.  相似文献

采用共沉淀法制备了纳米晶ZrO2-Al2O3∶Er3+发光粉体.所制备的粉体室温下具有Er3+离子特征荧光发射,主发射在绿光,其中位于547 nm、560 nm的绿光最强,并得出稀土离子与基质之间有能量传递.对不同煅烧温度下的样品研究表明:因不同温度下所制得的样品晶相不同.研究了纳米晶ZrO2-Al2O3∶Er3+及ZrO2-Al2O3∶Er3+/Yb3+的上转换发光,并分析了上转换的跃迁机制.发现ZrO2-Al2O3∶Er3+的绿光为双光子过程,而ZrO2-Al2O3∶Er3+、Yb3+的上转换光谱中,红光和绿光也为双光子过程,而极弱的蓝光为三光子过程.讨论了Er3+的浓度猝灭现象.最适宜掺杂浓度的原子分数为2%(Er3+/Zr4+).  相似文献

This paper reports on a study of cross-luminescence in barium fluoride crystals doped by a variety of impurities (K+, Cd2+, Y3+, Yb3+, La3+). It is shown that doping of the crystal with a trivalent impurity gives rise to the formation of an additional cross-luminescence band peaking at 7.5 eV, the intensity of this band increasing with increasing impurity concentration. Novel oxyfluoride glasses are developed with the composition of 30SiO2-15Al2O3-28PbF2-22CdF2-0.1TmF3 - xYbF3 - (4.9 - x) AlF3(x=0, 0.5, 1.0, 1.5, 2.0) in tool fraction, Furthermore, the upconversion luminescence characteristics under a 970nm excitation are investigated. Intense blue, red and near infrared luminescences peaked at 453nm, 476nm, 647nm and 789nm, which correspond to the transitions of Tm^3+: ^1D2 →^3F4, ^1G4 →^3H6, ^1G4 →^3F4, and ^3H4 →^3H6, respectively, are observed. Due to the sensitization of Yb^3+ ions, all the upconversion luminescence intensities are enhanced considerably with Yb^3+ concentration increasing. The upconversion mechanisms are discussed based on the energy matching rule and quadratic dependence on excitation power. The results indicate that the dominant mechanism is the excited state absorption for those upconversion emissions.  相似文献

通过固相反应法制备了Er3+/Yb3+共掺杂ZrO2-Al2O3粉末的样品,并对样品在980nm激光激发下的上转换发光特性进行了研究.从发射光谱可以发现,在可见光范围内有3个强的发光带,一个位于654nm附近的红光带和两个分别位于545nm、525nm附近的绿光带,分别对应于Er3+离子的以下辐射跃迁:4F9/24I15/24S3/24I15/22H11/24I15/2.其中又以Er3+离子的4F9/24I15/2跃迁产生的红色荧光辐射最强.对其上转换发光机制进行了分析,发现这三个发光过程都是双光子过程.对样品粉末进行了XRD检测,发现ZrO2主要以立方相为主,并且计算得到了这种立方结构的晶格常数.Al2O3固溶于ZrO2中,Al3+嵌入ZrO2后产生氧空位,导致ZrO2晶体的对称性降低,这种结构变化更有利于提高上转换效率,即上转换发光强度增强. 关键词: 3+/Yb3+')" href="#">Er3+/Yb3+ 上转换 2-Al2O3')" href="#">ZrO2-Al2O3 荧光 稀土  相似文献

采用高温熔融法制备了组分为TeO2-ZnO-Na2O的Tm3+离子单掺和Tm3+/Yb3+共掺碲酸盐玻璃,应用Judd-Ofelt理论计算分析了玻璃样品的强度参量Ωt(t=2, 4, 6),自发辐射跃迁几率A,荧光分支比β和荧光辐射寿命τrad等光谱参量,测量得到了不同Yb3+离子掺杂浓度下玻璃样品的Tm3+离子上转换发光谱.结果显示,在980 nm泵浦光激励下玻璃样品发射出强烈的近红外上转换荧光.对Tm3+离子上转换发光分析表明,强烈的Tm3+离子近红外上转换发光主要来自于Yb3+/Yb3+离子间的共振能量传递以及基于单声子和双声子辅助的Yb3+/Tm3+离子间的非共振能量传递过程,并进一步计算得到了声子贡献比和能量传递系数.最后,计算分析了Tm3+:3F43H6能级间跃迁的1.8 μm波段吸收截面、受激发射截面和增益系数.研究表明,Yb3+/Tm3+共掺TeO2-ZnO-Na2O玻璃可以作为近红外波段固体激光器的潜在增益基质.  相似文献

A complete set of spectroscopic parameters, including Judd-Ofelt parameters, radiative transition probabilities, radiative lifetime, branching ratios and integrated absorption cross section, have been calculated for Tm3+- doped fluoroaluminate (AYF) glass, based on the measured absorption spectra. The mechanism of Tm3+→Tm3+ and Yb3+\Leftrightarrow Tm3+ energy transfers and fluorescence properties have been investigated in both Tm3+ single-doped and Yb3+/Tm3+ double-doped AYF glasses. The cross-relaxation process, 3F4+3H6→23H4, is proved, which makes the optimum Tm3+ concentration of 1.77μm fluorescence (3H43H6) much higher than 1.45μm fluorescence (3F433H4) in Tm3+:AYF glasses. In Yb3+/Tm3+:AYF glasses, a stronger concentration quenching is found for the 476nm emission than that for the 797nm emission, and is discussed under the 970nm-excitation.  相似文献

在Er3+/Yb3+共掺TeO2-WO3-ZnO玻璃中引入Ce3+,研究了Ce3+对Er3+1.5μm发射性能及其上转换发光性能的影响。结果表明,随Ce3+浓度的增加Er3+1.5μm波段的荧光强度先增强后降低,优化的Ce3+掺杂浓度在2.07×1020/cm3左右;1.5μm波段的荧光寿命则随Ce3+浓度的增加有轻微降低,从3.4ms降到3.0ms,但Ce3+浓度的增加对1.5μm波段的荧光半高宽基本无影响;Er3+/Ce3+间的交叉弛豫Er3+(4I11/2)+Ce3+(2F5/2)→Er3+(4I13/2)+Ce3+(2F7/2)使玻璃的上转换发光强度大大降低,但在过高的Ce3+浓度下,Er3+/Ce3+间的另一交叉弛豫Er3+(4I13/2)+Ce3+(2F5/2)→Er3+(4I15/2)+Ce3+(2F7/2)则使Er3+4I13/2能级粒子数减少,导致1.5μm波段荧光强度和荧光寿命降低. 关键词: 碲钨酸盐玻璃 发光性能 3+离子')" href="#">Er3+离子 3+离子')" href="#">Ce3+离子 交叉弛豫  相似文献

The Yb3+ doped Ba2YB'O6 (B'=Ta5+, Nb5+) were prepared by high temperature solid-state reaction method, their structures were determined by x-ray diffraction and refined by Rietveld method. The diffuse reflection absorption, excitation and emission spectra of Yb3+:Ba2YB'O6 (B'=,Ta5+, Nb5+) were measured at room temperature. Under the excitation of ultraviolet light, these phosphors exhibit broad charge transfer band emissions of TaO6 or NbO6 centre with large Stokes shift. The Yb3+ doped into these hosts are situated at Y3+ sites of cubic symmetry (Oh). The experimental energy levels of Yb3+ in Ba2YTaO6 and Ba2YNbO6 were determined by photoluminescence and diffuse reflection absorption spectra. Their wavefunctions and theoretical energy levels were obtained by diagonalising the Hamiltonian matrix. The experimental energy levels were fitted by Levenberg--Marquardt iteration algorithm to determine crystal field parameters. Then, the magnetic-pole transition line strengths of Yb3+:Ba2YB'O6(B'=Ta5+, Nb5+) from (2F5/28- to the low-energy states were calculated.  相似文献

This paper reports that a series of Nd3+:Er3+:Yb3+ co-doped borosilicate glasses have been prepared and their absorption spectra measured. The J--O intensity parameters Ωk (k=2, 4, 6), spontaneous radiative lifetime τrad, spontaneous transition probability A, fluorescence branching ratio β and oscillator strength fed of the Nd3+ ions at room temperature are calculated based on Judd--Ofelt (J--O) theory. The temperature dependence of the up-conversion photoluminescence characteristics in a Nd3+:Er3+:Yb3+ co-doped sample is studied under a 978 nm semiconductor laser excitation, and the energy transfer mechanisms among Yb3+, Er3+ and Nd3+ ions are analysed. The results show that the J--O intensity parameters Ω2 increase when the Nd3+ concentration of the Nd3+:Er3+:Yb3+ co-doped borosilicate glasses increases. The possibility of spontaneous transition is small and lifetimes are long at levels of 4F5/2 and 4F3/2. The intensity of Nd3+ emissions at 595, 691, 753, 813 and 887 nm are markedly enhanced when the sample temperature exceeds 400 K. The reasons being the cooperation of the secondary sensitization from Er3+ to Nd3+ and the contribution of a multi-phonon.  相似文献

利用高温固相反应法制备了Eu3+掺杂的Sr2CeO4样品,并对其吸附水前后的光谱特性进行了研究.结果发现,对于刚制备的Sr2-xEuxCeO4+x/2样品, 在Ce4+—O2-的电荷迁移激发中,只有强激发带(~35700cm-1)与Eu3+离子间存在能量传递,而弱激发带 (~29400cm-1)只是引起Ce4+—O2-的电荷迁移发射;在Sr2-xEuxCeO4+x/2样品吸附水后,Eu3+的线状吸收跃迁强度显著增加, Ce4+—O2-两个激发带均向Eu3+离子传递能量. 通过测量Pr:SBN晶体的吸收光谱和荧光光谱来确定Pr3+在SBN晶体中的能级位置。由于Pr3+离子占据晶体中的不同格位而引起荧光带呈现双峰结构。测量荧光寿命随温度的变化关系,表明Pr3+在SBN晶体中 30态的无辐射弛豫主要是 3012多声子弛豫过程。 关键词:  相似文献
