TI(III) oxidation of cellobiose in the presence of H2SO4 in aqueous acetic acid is first order in each reactant and is acid catalyzed. TI(OAc) 2 + is the active species. Products identified are gluconic acid and glucose. A mechanism consistent with the temperature, solvent, acidity and salt effects is been proposed.

Calcium chromite, CaCr2O4, was prepared and its purity and stoichiometry were ascertained by chemical analysis and X-ray diffraction methods. The thermal diffusivity, specific heat capacity and thermal conductivity of calcium chromite were measured by Laser Flash method using an Ulvac-Sinku Riko TC-3000 series instrument in the temperature range of 298 to 1100 K. The heat capacity data were utilised to calculate the thermodynamic parametersenthalpy increments, entropy increments and free energy increments—in the above temperature range.
Zusammenfassung Kalziumchromit, CaCr2O4, wurde hergestellt und seine Reinheit und stöchiometrische Zusammensetzung mit Hilfe chemischer Analyse und Röntgendiffraktionsmethoden ermittelt. Anhand eines Ulyac-Sinku Riko TC-3000 Gerätes wurde mit Laser Flash Verfahren die Temperaturleitfähigkeit, die spezifische Wärmekapazität und die Wärmeleitfähigkeit von Kalziumchromit im Temperaturbereich 298–1100 K bestimmt. Die Wärmekapazitätsdaten wurden zur Berechnung der thermodynamischen Größen (Enthalpie-, Entropie-, Freie Energieänderung) in obigem Temperaturbereich benutzt.

Recent high-performance computers, especially supercomputers, achieve very high-speed operations but bring about serious I/O problems in quantum chemical computations. Strategies to vectorize conventional SCF-CI algorithms are discussed relating to the I/O problems. The conventional SCF-CI algorithm which is proposed here reduces I/O processing by eliminating all sorting routines and redundant integral files and generates directly nonzero and nonredundant PK integrals with a vectorizable canonically-ordered list. The new implementation has been undertaken and successfully realized as a program system named GSCF3. The vector to scalar acceleration rate of GSCF3 on the HITAC S-810 are as follows: 2.5 5 in the AO integral evaluation, 5 12 in the SCF calculation, 15 30 in the four-index integral transformation, 10 20 in the CI matrix diagonalization, and overall 510 through SCF-CI.  相似文献

Zusammenfassung Kalorimetrische und spektrophotometrische Untersuchungen über die Donorstärke einer Anzahl nicht-wäßriger Lösungsmittel zeigen, daß die relative Reihung der Donorstärken unabhängig von der Natur des Akzeptors ist. Die Donorreihung lautet gegenüber SbCl5, Jod und Phenol folgendermaßen: Pyridin > Dimethylsulfoxid > Dimethylacetamid Dimethylformamid > > Trimethylphosphat Diphenylphosphoroxychlorid > Diäthyläther > Aceton > Propandiol-1,2-carbonat > Acetonitril > > Selenoxychlorid Phosphoroxychlorid Benzoylchlorid > > Thionylchlorid > Sulfurylchlorid.
Calorimetric and spectrophotometric work on the donor strength of various non-aqueous solvents have shown that the relative order of donor strength is independent from the nature of the acceptor. The order of donor strength towards SbCl5, I2 and phenole is pyridine > dimethylsulfoxide > dimethylacetamide dimethylformamide > trimethylphosphate diphenylphosphonic chloride > diethyl ether > acetone > propane diol-1,2-carbonate > acetonitrile > selenium oxychloride phosphorus oxychloride benzoyl chloride > thionyl chloride > sulfuryl chloride.

The thermal decomposition of lead thiosulfate (LTS) was studied by various methods: X-ray phase analysis, IR and ESR spectroscopy, etc. A mechanism of thermal decomposition is suggested, including rupture of the S-S bond and the formation of radicals. According to the mechanism, the reaction rate can be enhanced in the presence of the PbS phase. The formation of PbS is the cause of the topochemical character of the reaction. The composition of the thermolysis products of LTS containing a radioactive isotope of sulfur is predicted.
Zusammenfassung Die thermische Zersetzung von Bleithiosulfat PbS2O3 wurde durch Röntgenphasenanalyse, IR- und ESR-Spektroskopie und Thermogravimetrie untersucht. Ein Mechanismus der thermischen Zersetzung wird angegeben, der über die Trennung von S-S-Bindungen und die Bildung von Radikalen verläuft. Nach diesem Mechanismus wird die Reaktionsgeschwindigkeit in Gegenwart der PbS-Phase beschleunigt, was den topochemischen Charakter der Reaktion bedingt.Für die Verteilung radioaktiven Schwefels auf die Zersetzungsprodukte unterschiedlich markierten (PbS*SO3 bzw. PbSS*O3) Bleithiosulfats wird eine Vorhersage gemacht.

The mechanisms of thermal degradation processes in polypromellitimide films were investigated by mass-spectrometric thermal analysis and high-resolution NMR spectroscopy in the solid state. Both the structures of the solid residues of pyrolysis products of the PM polyimide and the process of carbonization proper up to 1200° were studied. It was established that the breaking of the Car-O-Car bond in the diamine moiety is not the primary act of degradation of the molecular structure of the polymer, as might be expected on the basis of the value of the bond energy. The process of intermolecular crosslinking following polymer degradation under high-temperature conditions is completed by the formation of a complex nitrogen-containing heterocyclic structure.
Zusammenfassung Der Mechanismus der in Polypyromellitfilmen ablaufenden thermischen Zersetzungsprozesse wurde durch massenspektrometrische thermische Analyse und hochauflösende Festkörper-NMR-Spektroskopie untersucht. Sowohl die Struktur des festen Rückstandes des Pyrolyseproduktes des PM-polyamids als auch der Prozeß der Verkokung bis 1200 °C wurden Untersucht. Es wurde festgestellt, daß das Aufbrechen der Bindung C ar ,-O-C ar im Diaminteil nicht der primäre Schritt der Zersetzun der molekularen Struktur des Polymers ist, wie nach dem Wert der Bindungsenergie zu erwarten wäre. Der auf die Hochtemperatur-Polymerzersetzung folgende Prozeß der intermolekularen Vernetzung endet mit der Bildung einer komplexen stickstoffhaltigen heterozyklischen Struktur.

The interaction of organoaluminium compounds with phosphine complexes of Ni(II), Ni(I) and Ni(0) has been studied under the conditions of catalytic propylene dimerization. The active complexes are formed from Ni(II) compounds, the regeneration of the latter is ensured by repeated reduction, oxidation of Ni(0) to Ni(I), and by disproportionation of Ni(I) into Ni(II) and Ni(0).

Enthalpy of solution at 25°C of squalane in butyl alcohols and 1-octanol is determined calorimetrically. The endothermic effect of dissolution increases in the order 1-OctOH < BuOH < i-BuOH < t-BuOH. A linear correlation is found between the enthalpies of solution of squalane and hexadecane, from which the enthalpy of solution of squalane in methanol is determined. The contributions of the cavity formation and solute-solvent interaction to the enthalpy of solution are estimated by multiple regression analysis. The enthalpy of cavity formation is only slightly dependent on the length of the main chain of an alcohol and also on the branching type, varying in the order 1-OctOH BuOH i-BuOH < MeOH s-BuOH < t-BuOH. Interaction of squalane with alcocols increases in the order MeOH < t-BuOH < BuOH < i-BuOH s-BuOH < 1-OctOH.  相似文献

The tail-end purification of Am from Pu loading effluents in 7.5M HNO3 containing 160 mg l–1 Am and 1.2 mg l–1 Pu has been carried out. With 0.2M CMPO+1.2M TBP in dodecane as the extractant and stripping by 0.04M HNO3+0.05M NaNO2, the Pu level is brought down to 31.2 g l–1. When the acidity was reduced to 4.2M HNO3, one contact with 20% TLA/dodecane and subsequent extraction by a mixture of CMPO and TBP and stripping with 0.04M HNO3+0.05M NaNO2 gave Am samples without any detectable amounts of Pu. The recovery of Am was 90% by the first procedure and 98% by the second one.  相似文献

The -radiolysis of Methyl Red solution in HCl medium at pH=2 has been studied along with energy transfer reaction brought about byF and hole centers of -irradiated NaCl. The G-values for degradation of the azo dye indicator by radiolysis and -irradiated salt were determined as 9·10–1 and 4.8·10–3, respectively. The kinetic rate constants (k) of degradation are evaluated as 2·10–5 rad–1 in the case of direct radiolysis, while for the irradiated salt it is 2·10–7 rad–1. The extent of degradation by direct -radiolysis is 100–200 times greater as compared to that by the -irradiated salt. The same mechanism is proposed for radiolysis as well as the reaction induced by -irradiated sodium chloride.  相似文献

The thermal decompositoon of calcium carbonate mixed with calcium fluoride was examined by means of simultaneous TG, DTG and DTA. The temperature range of CaCO3 decomposition shifted to higher temperatures as a result of CaCO3-CaF2 eutectic formation. The temperature of melting of this eutectic was in the temperature range of CaCO3 decomposition, and therefore all factors which increase the partial pressure of CO2 (such as the thickness of the sample layer, the shape of the crucible, the heating rate, etc.) influence the amount of the liquid phase. The DTA curves can be regarded as the sum of three endothermic effects occurring almost simultaneously: decomposition of CaCO3 in the solid phase, melting of the eutectic, and decomposition of CaCO3 present in the liquid phase.
Zusammenfassung Die thermische Zersetzung von Calciumcarbonat-Calciumfluorid-Mischungen wurde durch simultane TG-DTG-DTA untersucht. Der Bereich der CaCO3-Zersetzung wird infolge der Bildung des CaCO3-CaF2-Eutektikums zu höheren Temperaturen verschoben. Die Schmelztemperatur dieses Eutektikums liegt im Temperaturbereich der CaCO3-Zersetzung, deshalb haben alle Faktoren, die den Partialdruck des CO2 beeinflussen (Schichtdicke der Probe, Tiegelgeometrie, Aufheizgeschwindigkeit usw.) auch Einfluss auf die Menge der entstehenden flüssigen Phase. Die DTA-Kurven entstehen durch Überlagerung von 3 endothermen Effekten, die fast gleichzeitig ablaufen: Zersetzung von CaCO3 in fester Phase, Schmelzen des Eutektikums, Zersetzung von CaCO3 in flüssiger Phase.

A basic formula of differential thermal analysis is evolved for the case when the heat transfer coefficient between the specimen cell and the reference cell is not zero. The more general formula obtained differs from the classical formula by including the parameters of the reference cell and the heat transfer coefficient between the cells. It indicates that utilization of the classical formula is not correct if heat exchange occurs between the cells. To utilize the generalized formula, additional measurements of the temperature changes of the reference material are required. However, if the time constants of the two cells are identical, the formula can be changed to assume the form of the classical formula for DTA if a correction factor is introduced which takes into account the effect of heat exchange between the cells.
Zusammenfassung Für den Fall, dass der Übertragungskoeffizient zwischen der Proben- und der Referenzzelle nicht Zero ist, wurde eine Grundformel der Differentialthermoanalyse entwickelt. Die entstandene Formel, die vielmehr allgemein ist, weicht von der klassischen dadurch ab, dass sie auch die Parameter der Referenzzelle, und den Wärmeübertragungskoeffizient zwischen den Zellen enthält. Sie deutet darauf hin, dass die Anwendung der klassischen Formel in dem Fall nicht einwandfrei ist, wenn ein Wärmeaustausch zwischen den Zellen zustande kommt. Zur Anwendung der verallgemeinerten Formel sind weitere Messungen des Temperaturaustausches vom Referenzmaterial erforderlich. Sind aber die Zeitkonstanten der zwei Zellen identisch, kann die Formel so geändert werden, dass sie die Gestalt der klassischen DTA-Formel annimt, wenn ein, mit der Wirkung des Wärmeaustausches zwischen den Zellen rechnender Korrektionsfaktor eingeführt wird.

Oxygen adsorption on Ag/Au alloys has been studied by field-emission microscopy (FEM). A decrease in the silver concentration of alloy is accompanied by a drastic fall in its ability to absorb oxygen. Using the interacting bonds method (IBM), the adsorption heat of atomic oxygen on the (100) plane of the silver-gold alloy has been calculated.

The modification of PtRh10 gauze catalysts by coating their surfaces with a thin film of PtRh/Al2O3 is reported. The investigation of the activity, selectivity and morphological change of the surface of the catalyst for standard gauzes and those covered with a thin film, applied in the HCN synthesis is deseribed.
