In this paper, we firstly investigate the successive applications of three elementary gauge transformation operators Ti with i = 1,2,3 for the mKP hierarchy in Kupershmidt-Kiso version, and find that the gauge transformation operators Ti can not commute with each other. Then two types of gauge transformation operators TD and TI constructed from Ti are proved that they can commute with each other. In particular, TI is introduced for the first time in the literature. And the successive applications of TD and TI in the form of T(n,k), which is the product of n terms of TD and k terms of TI, are derived in three cases for different n and k. At last, the corresponding successive applications of TD and TI on the eigenfunction Φ, the adjoint eigenfunction Ψ and the tau functions τ0 and τ1 are considered.  相似文献

In this paper, we mainly investigate two kinds of gauge transformations for the constrained modified KP hierarchy in Kupershmidt-Kiso version. The corresponding gauge transformations are required to keep not only the Lax equation but also the Lax operator. For this, by selecting the special generating eigenfunction and adjoint eigenfunction, the elementary gauge transformation operators of modified KP hierarchy TD(Φ) = (Φ?1)?x1? Φ?1 and TI (Ψ) = Ψ?1? ?1Ψx, become the ones in the constrained case. Finally, the corresponding successive applications of TD and TI on the eigenfunction Φ and the adjoint eigenfunction Ψ are discussed.  相似文献

The BCr-KP hierarchy is an important sub-hierarchy of the KP hierarchy. In this paper, the BCr-KP hierarchy is investigated from three aspects. Firstly, we study the gauge transformation for the BCr-KP hierarchy.Different from the KP hierarchy, the gauge transformation must keep the constraint of the BCr-KP hierarchy. Secondly,we study the gauge transformation for the constrained BCr-KP hierarchy. In this case, the constraints of the Lax operator must be invariant under the gauge transformation. At last, the compatibility between the additional symmetry and the gauge transformation for the BCr-KP hierarchy is explored.  相似文献

Discrete and continuous dual symmetry is analysed and explained in its geometrical origin. Linear eigenvalue equations of the dual transforming operators U are deduced in different forms in a suitable gauge, under the gauge transformation. Different dual parameters are compared too.  相似文献

We extend the linear quantum transformation theory to the case of quantum field operators. The corresponding general transformation expressions of CPT transformations and gauge field transformations are considered as its applications.  相似文献

We study Darboux–Bäcklund transformations (DBTs) for the q-deformed Korteweg–de Vries hierarchy by using the q-deformed pseudodifferential operators. The elementary DBTs are triggered by the gauge operators constructed from the (adjoint) wave functions of the associated linear systems. Iterating these elementary DBTs, we obtain not only q-deformed Wronskian-type but also binary-type representations of the tau-function of the hierarchy.  相似文献

It is shown that the AKNS hierarchy with self-consistent sources can transform to KN hierarchy with self-consistent sources through a transformation operator and gauge transformation. Besides, there exists transformation in their conservation laws and Hamiltonian structures.  相似文献

Bosonization of two-dimensional QCD in the large-N C limit is performed within the Hamiltonian approach in the Coulomb gauge. A generalized Bogolyubov transformation is applied to diagonalize the Hamiltonian in the bosonic sector of the theory, and the composite operators creating (annihilating) bosons are obtained in terms of dressed quark operators. The bound-state equation is reconstructed as the result of the generalized Bogolyubov transformation, and the form of its massless solution, a chiral pion, is found explicitly. The chiral properties of the theory are discussed.  相似文献

We study Euler-Lagrange-type operators, not necessarily variational (i.e., derivable from a variational principle). We get amaster equation which is well suited for many considerations. We obtain several results in gauge theories: the equivalence between gauge invariance and charge conservation, the relationship between general covariance and conservation laws associated with the energy-momentum tensor, and, in the case of free gauge fields, an interesting characterization of the associated variational operators.  相似文献

Using the technique of integration within an ordered product of operators and adopting similar procedures as for the theory for quantizing a gauge field, we derive the Drummond-Gardiner positive P-representation directly from the Glauber-Sudarshan P-representation. The analogy between the extra phase-space dimensions in the positive P-representation and the gauge transformation freedoms for gauge field quantization is pointed out.  相似文献

The nonlocal gauge group of unitary integral operators U n (∞) is considered. Gluons in the nonlocal version of QCD are described by the bilocal gauge fields (BGF). The Higgs effect for BGF are discussed. It is shown that the local SU(n) gauge theory can be treated as a local limit of spontaneously broken U n(∞)/SU(n) BGF theory.  相似文献

Using Poincaré parametrization of AdS space, we study totally symmetric arbitrary spin massless fields in AdS space of dimension greater than or equal to four. CFT adapted gauge invariant formulation for such fields is developed. Gauge symmetries are realized similarly to the ones of Stueckelberg formulation of massive fields. We demonstrate that the curvature and radial coordinate contributions to the gauge transformation and Lagrangian of the AdS fields can be expressed in terms of ladder operators. Realization of the global AdS symmetries in the conformal algebra basis is obtained. Modified de Donder gauge leading to simple gauge fixed Lagrangian is found. The modified de Donder gauge leads to decoupled equations of motion which can easily be solved in terms of the Bessel function. Interrelations between our approach to the massless AdS fields and the Stueckelberg approach to massive fields in flat space are discussed.  相似文献

We study the question of renormalization of gauge invariant operators in the gauge theories. Our discussion applies to gauge invariant operators of arbitrary dimensions and tensor structure. We show that the gauge noninvariant (and ghost) operators that mix with a given set of gauge invariant operators form a complete set of local solutions of a functional differential equation. We show that this set of gauge noninvariant operators together with the gauge invariant operators close under renormalization to all orders. We obtain a complete set of local solutions of the differential equation. The form of these solutions has recently been conjectured by Kluberg Stern and Zuber. With the help of our solutions, we show that there exists a basis of operators in which the gauge noninvariant operators “decouple” from the gauge invariant operators to all orders in the sense that eigenvalues corresponding to the eigenstates containing gauge invariant operators can be computed without having to compute the full renormalization metrix. We further discuss the substructure of the renormalization matrix.  相似文献

Based on algebraic dynamics, we present an algorithm to obtain exact solutions of the Schrodinger equation of non-autonomous quantum systems with Hamiltonian expressed in quadratic function of creation and annihilation operators of bosons. The Hamiltonian is treated as a linear function of generators of a symplectic group. Similar to the canonical transformation of classical dynamics, we employ a set of gauge transformations to gradually transform the Hamiltonian to a linear function of Cartan operators. The exact solutions are obtained by inverse gauge transformations. When the system is autonomous, this algorithm can obtain the normal mode of the Hamiltonian, as well as the eigenstates and eigenvalues.  相似文献

The Fock-space formulation is extended to nonabelian gauge theories. Using a kinematical potential instead of the Yang-Mills field, we construct invariant creation operators. Physical states are selected by the requirement that they remain invariant under a new gauge-invariant global transformation.  相似文献

We extend the proposal of Berenstein, Maldacena and Nastase to the Type IIB superstring propagating on a pp-wave over the R 4/Z k orbifold. We show that first-quantized free string theory is described correctly by the large-N, fixed gauge coupling limit of [U(N)] k quiver gauge theory. We propose a precise map between gauge theory operators and string states for both untwisted and twisted sectors. We also compute leading-order perturbative correction to the anomalous dimensions of these operators. The result is in agreement with the value deduced from the string energy spectrum, thus substantiating our proposed operator-state map. We construct transformation operators for Sturm-Liouville operators with singular potentials from the space W −1 2(0,1) and show that these transformation operators naturally appear during factorisation of Fredholm operators of a special form. Some applications to the spectral analysis of Sturm-Liouville operators with singular potentials under consideration are also given. This revised version was published online in July 2006 with corrections to the Cover Date.  相似文献

We present a Bdcklund transformation (a discrete symmetry transformation) for the self-duality equations for supersymmetric gauge theories in N-extended super-Minkowski space 4|4N for an arbitrary semisimple gauge group. For the case of anA 1 gauge algebra we integrate the transformation starting with a given solution and iterating the process we construct a hierarchy of explicit solutions.  相似文献

In a recent article Hasenfratz and von Allmen have suggested a fixed point action for two flavors of Weyl fermions on the lattice with gauge group SU(2). The block-spin transformation they use maps the chiral and vector symmetries of the underlying vector theory onto two equations of the Ginsparg–Wilson (GW) type. We show that an overlap Dirac operator can be constructed which solves both GW equations simultaneously. We discuss the properties of this overlap operator and its projection onto lattice Weyl fermions which seems to be free of artefacts, in particular the projection operators are independent of the gauge field.  相似文献

We study the mechanism of the enhanced gauge symmetry of the bosonic open string compactified on a torus by analyzing the zero-norm soliton (non-zero winding of the Wilson line) gauge states in the spectrum. Unlike the closed string case, we find that the soliton gauge state exists only at massive levels. These soliton gauge states correspond to the existence of enhanced massive gauge symmetries with transformation parameters containing both Einstein and Yang–Mills indices. In the T-dual picture, these symmetries exist only at some discrete values of compactified radii when N D-branes are coincident. Received: 14 May 1999 / Published online: 17 March 2000  相似文献
