This research communicates the applications of thermos-diffusion effect associated to the squeezing flow of Jeffrey nanofluid due to horizontal channel. The problem presents the applications of inertial effects by following the Darcy–Forchheimer flow. Moreover, the effects of viscous dissipation and activation energy phenomenon has been discussed. The dimensionless attention of problem is retained. The shooting technique is implemented to present the numerical computations. The numerical validation of results is reported. The essential assessment of physical flow parameters is studied. The numerical outcomes are presented for heat and mass transfer phenomenon. The present study elaborates three-dimensional (3D) thermally radiative flow of carbon nanotubes dispersed in water with Darcy–Forchheimer porous space. A bidirectional linear stretchable sheet is used to generate the flow. Darcy–Forchheimer relation specifies porous space. Single-wall carbon nanotubes and multi-wall carbon nanotubes are accounted. Solutions development is due to optimal homotopy analysis technique. Optimal data of sundry variables are obtained. The optimal solution interpretations of velocities and temperature are interpreted via plots. Physical quantities are also elaborated. Our results reveal that thermal field against radiation and temperature ratio parameter is enhanced. 相似文献

The excess molar volume, viscosity deviation and excess Gibbs free energy of activation of viscous flow have been investigated from the density and shear viscosity measurements of water–dioxane mixtures over the entire range of mole fractions from 293.15 to 309.15?K. The results were fitted by the Redlich–Kister equation. Partial molar volume and Gibbs energy at infinite dilution were deduced from four methods, activation parameters and partial molar Gibbs energy of activation of viscous flow against compositions were investigated. The water–dioxane interactions have principally an H-bound character and there are two principal types’ structures limited by 0.08?mole fraction in dioxane. The reduced Redlich–Kister excess properties provide an indication of the intermolecular interactions and for dioxane–water cluster formation as suggested in the literature. 相似文献

Nanofluid thermal applications considerably enhanced the heat and mass transfer patterns, which plays novel role in many bio-technological, renewable energy and engineering applications. Many prime applications off nanomaterials have been inspected in solar energy and thermal engineering issues to benefit human society. Furthermore, motile microorganisms, that have applications in petroleum sciences, enzymes biotechnology, biofuels, pharmaceutical, and other fields, greatly improve the stability of nanofluids. The current study examines the Darcy-Forchhiemer accelerating flow of Eyring-Powell nanofluid over an oscillating surface which contains the thermal radiations and gyrotactic microorganisms. The extension in the heat and mass transfer expression is suggested by following the relations of Cattaneo–Christov theory. Furthermore, the non-uniform heat source/sink phenomenon is also being focused to improve the thermal aspect of model. The flow problem model is consisting of non-linear PDEs that are solved by using the homotopy analysis scheme. After highlighting the convergence zone, physical characteristics for parameters are listed. 相似文献

Calculation of excess properties in N,N-dimethylacetamide + 2-ethoxyethanol binary mixtures at (298.15, 308.15 and 318.15) K from experimental density, viscosity and sound velocity values were presented in previous work. Applications of these experimental values to test different correlation equations as well as their corresponding relative functions were also reported. Considering the quasi-equality between the Arrhenius activation energy Ea and the enthalpy of activation of viscous flow ? H*, here we can define partial molar activation energy Ea1 and Ea2 for N,N-dimethylacetamide and 2-ethoxyethanol, respectively, along with their individual contribution separately. Correlation between the two Arrhenius parameters of viscosity in all the domains of composition shows the existence of two main distinct behaviours separated by a stabilised structure in a short range of mole fraction in N,N-dimethylacetamide from 0.14 to 0.45. We add that correlation reveals interesting Arrhenius temperature, which is closely related to the vaporisation temperature in the liquid vapour equilibrium. 相似文献

The eutectoid transformation may be defined as a solid-state diffusion-controlled decomposition process of a high-temperature
phase into a two-phase lamellar aggregate behind a migrating boundary on cooling below the eutectoid temperature. In substitutional
solid solutions, the eutectoid reaction involves diffusion of the solute atoms either through the matrix or along the boundaries
or ledges. The effect of Ag on the non-isothermal kinetics of the reverse eutectoid reaction in the Cu–9 mass%Al, Cu–10 mass%Al,
and Cu–11 mass%Al alloys were studied using differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), X-ray diffraction (XRD), and scanning
electron microscopy (SEM). The activation energy for this reaction was obtained using the Kissinger and Ozawa methods. The
results indicated that Ag additions to Cu–Al alloys interfere on the reverse eutectoid reaction, increasing the activation
energy values for the Cu–9 mass%Al and Cu–10 mass%Al alloys and decreasing these values for the Cu–11 mass%Al alloy for additions
up to 6 mass%Ag. The changes in the activation energy were attributed to changes in the reaction solute and in Ag solubility
