Abstact: The level structure of 113Sn has been investigated. The data were obtained by in-beam γ-ray spectroscopy using the reaction 100Mo(18O,5n)113Sn at 70 MeV performed at the OSIRIS gamma array in the Institut für Kernphysik FN Tandem accelerator. We report in this short note the observation of two intruder type rotational bands in this nucleus. Received: 28 April 1998  相似文献

The high-spin states of 147Tb have been studied with regard to their spins. The data were obtained by in-beam γ-ray spectroscopy using the reaction 120Sn(31P,4n)147Tb at 152 MeV performed at the Osiris spectrometer in Berlin. We obtained multipole mixing ratios for 60 transitions, and level spins up to 67/2ħ are introduced. Received: 30 March 1998  相似文献

The neutron deficient nucleus 108Te was studied in the 54Fe(58Ni,2p2n) reaction. A detector system consisting of 4 Euroball cluster detectors, a charged-particle detector ball and a 16 element neutron multiplicity filter was used to detect the emitted particles and γ rays. A new, significantly extended level scheme was constructed on the basis of γγ-coincidence relations. Spin values for the states were determined from angular distribution ratios. The experimental results are discussed in terms of the shell model. Received: 7 September 1998  相似文献

A new high-spin isomer in 145Sm was observed by in-beam γ-ray spectroscopy with the reaction 122Sn(27Al,3np) at 127 MeV performed at the Nordball multi-detector array in Roskilde. The excitation energy of the isomer was determined to be E x= 11147 keV, and using the generalized centroid-shift method its half-life was found to be T 1/2= (7.4 ± 1.0) ns. An in-beam experiment with the reaction 122Sn(27Al,4np) at 127 MeV was performed at the Nordball multi-detector array in Roskilde. It provided evidence for a new high-spin isomer in 144Sm. This isomer with T 1/2= (2.6 ± 0.5) ns at an excitation energy E x= 9232 keV seems to belong to a family of isomers of similar configuration in neighbouring N= 82 nuclei. The decay out of the πh 11/2νh 11/2 band to the known low-energy levels in 132La was studied using the reaction 100Mo + 36S at 160 MeV beam energy. The low-energy level scheme has been further developed and unambiguous spin and parity values have been assigned to the levels connecting the band to the 6- isomeric state. According to the new level scheme the spins in the πh 11/2νh 11/2 band are shifted up by one unit compared to the earlier tentative experimental values. The obtained new spins prove the existence of signature inversion in 132La and give further support to the spin assignments made for the πh 11/2νh 11/2 bands in the neighbouring odd-odd La isotopes from level energy systematics. A quasiparticle-phonon coupling based on one quadrupole phonon is developed. The coupling is constructed by using a deformed average field of Nilsson, a monopole pairing interaction and a quadrupole-quadrupole force. Microscopic structure of the quadrupole phonon is given from the Tamm-Dancoff Approximation. The two effects of recoil and Coriolis forces are included with the assumption of a symmetric rotational motion. Since theoretical treatment is performed for an odd- A nuclei the configuration of intrinsic states should contain both one-quasiparticle and quasiparticle-phonon components. This method is applied to describe the level scheme of 133Nd for which an agreement with experimental data is obtained. The results are also found similar to previous calculations obtained by the Particle plus Triaxial Rotor Model. Received: 23 August 1999  相似文献

Three mini-orange conversion–electron spectrometers and four Euroball Ge Cluster detectors have been used for γ–e- coincidence spectroscopy of superdeformed 135Nd. Transitions within the superdeformed band are shown to have the expected E2 multipolarity. The 766.5–keV transition which links the band to a positive-parity state has a conversion coefficient consistent with M1 multipolarity. Consequently, positive parity is deduced for the superdeformed band. No evidence for E0 transitions was found. Received: 22 December 1997 / Revised version: 19 January 1998  相似文献

High spin states in 128Ba have been investigated with the fusion–evaporation reaction 96Zr(36S,4n)128Ba at a beam energy of 150 MeV with the GASP-spectrometer at INFN in Legnaro, Italy. The level scheme could be extended to higher spins and six-quasiparticle states have been observed. The deduced alignments are compared to the predictions of previously reported cranked shell model calculations. Received: 4 January 1999  相似文献

High-spin states in 117I have been studied via the 103Rh(18O, 4n) reaction at a beam energy of 85 MeV. Many deformed rotational bands built on the proton h11/2, g7/2, and g9/2 orbitals have been identified. Among them, an unfavoured rotational band and a quasi-gamma band based on the h11/2 state have been newly observed. Moreover, positive-parity states above Iπ= 35/2+ reported in the previous work have been rearranged. Several energetically favoured states have been assigned to noncollective oblate states based on various quasiparticle configurations with β2≈ 0.18–0.19 and γ= 60°. Received: 1 March 1999  相似文献

High-spin states in 121Xe have been studied via the 109Ag (16O, p3n) 121Xe reaction at a beam energy of 80 MeV. Several rotational bands based on one- and three-quasiparticle excitations have been established. Among them, an unfavoured yrare rotational band with unfavoured signature has been newly identified. The first evidence for excited states in 95Ag is presented. 95Ag is the heaviest T z = 1/2 nucleus for which gamma-rays have been identified. The reaction 40Ca(58Ni, 1p2n)95Ag was used in the experiment, which resulted in the assignment of three gamma-rays to 95Ag. A detector system consisting of the detector arrays Euroball, Neutron Wall and Euclides was used to detect gamma-rays, neutrons and charged particles, respectively. Excited states of 99Ag were populated via the 50Cr + 58Ni (261 MeV) reaction using the NORDBALL detector array equipped with charged-particle and neutron detector systems for reaction channel separation. On the basis of the measured γγ-coincidence relations and angular distribution ratios a significantly extended level scheme has been constructed up to E x ∼ 7.8 MeV and I = 35/2. The experimental results were described within the framework of the shell model. Candidates for states fully aligned in the πg 9/2 -3ν(d 5/2, g 7/2)2 valence configuration space were found at 4109 and 6265 keV. A recoil distance method was used to measure half-lives of the excited states of 145Sm. The reaction used was 139La(10B, 4n)145Sm. A plunger system was used. Half-lives were determined for two excited states for the first time. The yrast 27/2+ state was found to have a half-life of 1.1 ± 0.2 ns corresponding to the retardation of 3.1 × 10−4 comparing with the single particle estimate of M1. The excitation energy of this state was well reproduced by the shell model calculation having a mixed configuration of [π{h11/2(g7/2)−2 (d5/2)−1}10−, νf7/2] + [π{h11/2(g7/2)−1}9−,νh9/2]. Another retarded E1 transition was also found in a decay of a 21/2+ state. Its retardation was 1.6 × 10−4 comparing with the single particle value. The lifetime of the first 2+ state in the nucleus 124Ba has been measured by γ-γ coincidence recoil-distance Doppler shift method. The 109Ag(19F, 4n)124Ba reaction at a beam energy of 75 MeV was employed to populate excited states in 124Ba. The mean lifetime was determined to be 275(12) ps using the differential decay curve method. The value of B(E2;01 +→ 21 +) for 124Ba deduced from the lifetime is in reasonable agreement with the prediction of the proton-neutron interacting boson model(IBM-2) without Pauli blocking effect. We report on “safe” Coulomb excitation of neutron-rich 138,140,142Xe nuclei. The radioactive nuclei have been produced by ISOLDE at CERN and post-accelerated by the REX-ISOLDE facility. The γ-rays emitted by the decay of excited states have been detected by the MINIBALL array. Recent results are presented.  相似文献

High-spin states have been studied in 101Tc produced as a fission fragment in the reaction 176Yb +28Si at 145 MeV. Gamma rays were detected with the EUROGAM2 array. The level scheme of 101Tc has been extended up to 4.2 MeV excitation energy and several band structures are observed. Configurations are assigned to two new bands on the basis of their behaviour and of cranked Hartree-Fock-Bogolyubov calculations. Received: 4 January 1999  相似文献

High spin states of 146Eu were studied by in-beam gamma ray spectroscopic techniques using 140Ce(10B,4n)146Eu and 139La(13C,6n)146Eu reactions. The level scheme was established up to 10MeV. A new high spin isomer with 10ns half life was found. Configurations of yrast states were understood by a weak coupling of f7/2 neutron to those of 145Eu. Received: 2 November 1999  相似文献

Three new bands in 174Ta have been identified by using the 160Gd(19F,5n) reaction at beam energies of 87 MeV and 96 MeV. Nilsson configurations are assigned to these bands. In the 9/2[514]p+5/2[512]n band, the AB neutron crossing occurs at a rotational frequency of 0.30 MeV. This is indicative of the disappearance of the evidence for a reduction in neutron pair correlations. Received: 30 March 1998  相似文献
