The interaction between the alkanediyl-alpha,omega-type cationic gemini surfactant, [(C(16)H(33)N(+)(CH(3))(2)(CH(2))(4)N(+)(CH(3))(2)C(16)H(33))2Br(-)], 16-4-16 and the conventional nonionic surfactant [CH(3)(CH(2))(10)CH(2)(OCH(2)CH(2))(6)OH], C(12)E(6) in aqueous medium has been investigated. The critical micelle concentrations of different mixtures have been measured by surface tension using a du Nouy tensiometer in aqueous solution at different temperatures (303, 308, and 313 K). Maximum surface excess (Gamma(max)) and minimum area per molecule (A(min)) were evaluated from a surface tension vs log(10)C (C is concentration) plot. The cmc value of the mixture was used to compute beta(m), the interaction parameter. The beta(sigma), the interaction parameter at the monolayer air-water interface, was also calculated. We observed synergism in 16-4-16/C(12)E(6) system at all concentration ratios. The micelle aggregation number (N(agg)) has been measured using a steady state fluorescence quenching method at a total surfactant concentration approximately 2 mM at 25 degrees C. The micropolarity and the binding constant (K(sv)) of mixed systems were determined from the ratio of intensity of peaks (I(1)/I(3)) of the pyrene fluorescence emission spectrum. The micellar interiors were found to be reasonably polar. We also found, using Maeda's concept, that the chain-chain interactions are very important in this system.  相似文献

The hydrophilicity of polar and apolar domains of various amphiphiles was systematically estimated for their homologues and analogues by measuring the molar adiabatic compressibility of an aqueous solution at infinite dilution. The homologues of protic alkyl H(CH(2))(n)-, perfluoroalkyl F(CF(2))(n)-, and alkylphenyl H(CH(2))(n)(C(6)H(5))- groups (n=0-10) were chosen to represent apolar hydrophobic domains. The polar hydrophilic domains tested were -SO(4)Na, -SO(3)Na, -COONH(4), -N(CH(3))(3)Br, N(C(m)H(2m+1))(4)Br (m=1-5), and -NH(CH(2))(n)SO(3) (n=3, 4) groups. Also tested were the tetraphenyl ionic compounds (C(6)H(5))(4)MX (M=B/X=Na, M=P/X=Cl, M=As/X=Cl) to study the effect of the ionic sign of the core atom across the tetraphenyl apolar shell, the polyethylene glycols H(OCH(2)CH(2))(m)OH (m=1-4) to study the role of apolar -CH(2)- units in the hydrophilic oxyethylene group, and the zwitterionic dimethylaminoalkylsulfonate (CH(3))(2)NH(CH(2))(n)SO(3) homologues to study the effect of intramolecular salt formation on the hydrophilicity of the zwitterion. The adiabatic compressibility of the solution was calculated from measurement of the sound velocity and density of solutions. The introduction of laboratory automation and the numerical control of the system improved the accuracies and efficiencies of the measurements a great deal. The range of the temperature scan was 0-40 degrees C with an effective accuracy of +/-0.001 degrees C and the concentration was automatically scanned down to far below the cmc of the surfactant. The hydrophilicity of various polar and apolar substances was estimated as the decrease of molar adiabatic compressibility of the aqueous solution with increased concentration of their homologues and analogues. The hydrophobic hydration of nonpolar substances was found to be very small at room temperature and was barely detected above 40 degrees C; however, it became large as the temperature was lowered and attained a maximum at 0 degrees C. The cationic charge of quaternary ammonium N(+)(C(n)H(2n+1))(4) was found to enhance the hydrophobic hydration of methylene groups located at a distance of 4 to 6 ? from the core nitrogen atom, while the terminal negative charge of the anionic surfactant R-SO(4)(-), R-SO(3)(-), or R-COO(-) was found to decrease the hydrophobic hydration of -CH(2)- units within the same range. The hydrophilicity of quaternary ammonium and the tetraphenyl ions should be synergistically given by both hydrophobic and ionic hydrations. The hydrophilicity of the perfluoromethylene unit -CF(2)- was found to have a value comparable to that of the protic methylene unit -CH(2)-. The hydrophobic hydration seems to offer a good measure of the hydrophilicity of apolar substances; however, it does not necessarily represent the "hydrophobicity" of the apolar segment when the "surface activity" of the amphiphile is concerned. A variety of inter- and intramolecular dehydration was found in the reactions of [[Ru(P(OCH(3))(3))(2)(CH(3)CN)(3)](2)(mu-S(2))](CF(3)SO(3))(4) (1) with hydroxyl substituted alkenes and alkynes. Treatment of 1 with allyl alcohol gave a C(3)S(2) five-membered ring complex, [[Ru(P(OCH(3))(3))(2)(CH(3)CN)(3)](2)[mu-SCH(2)CH(2)CH(OCH(2)CH=CH(2))S]](CF(3)SO(3))(4) (2), via C-S bond formation after C-H bond activation and intermolecular dehydration. On the other hand, intramolecular dehydration was observed in the reaction of 1 with 3-buten-1-ol giving a C(4)S(2) six-membered ring complex, [[Ru(P(OCH(3))(3))(2)(CH(3)CN)(3)](2) [mu-SCH(2)CH=CHCH(2)S]](CF(3)SO(3))(4) (3). Complex 1 reacts with 2-propyn-1-ol or 2-butyn-1-ol to give homocoupling products, [[Ru(P(OCH(3))(3))(2)(CH(3)CN)(3)](2)[mu-SCR=CHCH(OCH(2)C triple bond CR)S]](CF(3)SO(3))(4) (4: R = H, 5: R = CH(3)), via intermolecular dehydration. In the reaction with 2-propyn-1-ol, the intermediate complex having a hydroxyl group, [[Ru(P(OCH(3))(3))(2)(CH(3)CN)(3)](2)[mu-SCH=CHCH(OH)S]](CF(3)SO(3))(4) (6), was isolated, which further reacted with 2-propyn-1-ol and 2-butyn-1-ol to give 4 and a cross-coupling product, [[Ru(P(OCH(3))(3))(2)(CH(3)CN)(3)](2)[mu-SCH=CHCH(OCH(2)C triple bond CCH(3))S]](CF(3)SO(3))(4) (7), respectively. The reaction of 1 with diols, (HO)CHRC triple bond CCHR(OH), gave furyl complexes, [[Ru(P(OCH(3))(3))(2)(CH(3)CN)(3)](2)[mu-SSC=CROCR=CH]](CF(3)SO(3))(3) (8: R = H, 9: R = CH(3)) via intramolecular elimination of a H(2)O molecule and a H(+). Even though (HO)(H(3)C)(2)CC triple bond CC(CH(3))(2)(OH) does not have any propargylic C-H bond, it also reacts with 1 to give [[Ru(P(OCH(3))(3))(2)(CH(3)CN)(3)](2)[mu-SCH(2)C(=CH(2))C(=C=C(CH(3))(2))]S](CF(3)SO(3))(4) (10). In addition, the reaction of 1 with (CH(3)O)(H(3)C)(2)CC triple bond CC(CH(3))(2)(OCH(3)) gives [[Ru(P(OCH(3))(3))(2)(CH(3)CN)(2)][mu-S=C(C(CH(3))(2)OCH(3))C=CC(CH(3))CH(2)S][Ru(P(OCH(3))(3))(2)(CH(3)CN)(3)]](CF(3)SO(3))(4) (11), in which one molecule of CH(3)OH is eliminated, and the S-S bond is cleaved.  相似文献

The following five antimony(V) tetraphenylporphyrins with sigma-bonded antimony-carbon bonds were synthesized: [(TPP)Sb(CH(3))(2)](+)PF(6)(-), [(TPP)Sb(OCH(3))(OH)](+)PF(6)(-), [(TPP)Sb(CH(3))(OH)](+)ClO(4)(-), [(TPP)Sb(CH(3))(OCH(3))](+)ClO(4)(-), and [(TPP)Sb(CH(3))(F)](+)PF(6)(-). Each compound is stable toward air and moisture and has a high melting point (>250 degrees C). The electrochemistry and spectroelectrochemistry of these sigma-bonded porphyrins were examined in benzonitrile or dichloromethane containing 0.1 M tetrabutylammonium perchlorate as supporting electrolyte and the data compared to those for three previously synthesized OEP derivatives containing similar sigma-bonded and/or anionic axial ligands. Each porphyrin shows two reversible reductions and up to a maximun of one oxidation within the potential window of the solvent. Spectroelectrochemical data indicate formation of a porphyrin pi anion radical upon the first reduction as do ESR spectra of the singly reduced species. However, a small amount of the Sb(III) porphyrin products may be generated via a chemical reaction following electron tranfer. An X-ray crystallographic analysis of [(TPP)Sb(CH(3))(F)](+)PF(6)(-) is also presented: monoclinic, space group C2/c, Z = 8, a = 24.068(5) ?, b = 19.456(4) ?, c = 18.745(3) ?, beta = 94.69(2) degrees, R = 0.056.  相似文献

For a number of phosphoryltransfer enzymes, including the exonuclease subunit of DNA polymerase I, a mechanism involving two-metal ions and double Lewis-acid activation of the substrate, combined with leaving group stabilization, has been proposed. Inspired by the active site structure of this enzyme, we have designed as a synthetic phosphoryl transfer catalyst the dicopper(II) macrocyclic complex LCu(2). Crystal structures of complexes [(L)Cu(2)(mu-NO(3))(NO(3))](NO(3))(2) (1), [(L)Cu(2)(mu-CO(3))(CH(3)OH)](BF(4))(2) (2), and [(L)Cu(2)(mu-O(2)P(OCH(3))(2))(NO(3))](NO(3))(2) (3) illustrate various possibilities for the interaction of oxoanions with the dicopper(II) site. 1 efficiently promotes the transesterification of dimethyl phosphate (DMP) in CD(3)OD, k(cat) = 2 x 10(-)(4) s(-)(1) at 55 degrees C. 1 is the only available catalyst for the smooth transesterification of highly inert simple dialkyl phosphates. From photometric titrations and the pH dependence of reactivity, we conclude that a complex [(L)Cu(2)(DMP)(OCH(3))](2+) is the reactive species. Steric bulk at the -OR substituents of phosphodiester substrates O(2)P(OR)(2)(-) drastically reduces the reactivity of 1. This is explained with -OR leaving group stabilization by Cu coordination, an interaction which is sensitive to steric crowding at the alpha-C-atom of substituent R. A proposed reaction mechanism related to that of the exonuclease unit of DNA polymerase I is supported by DFT calculations on reaction intermediates. The complex [(L)Cu(3)(mu(3)-OH)(mu-CH(3)O)(2)(CH(3)CN)(2)](ClO(4))(3) (4) incorporates a [Cu(OH)(OCH(3))(2)(CH(3)CN)(2)](-) complex anion, which might be considered as an analogue of the [PO(2)(OCH(3))(2)(OCD(3))](2)(-) transition state (or intermediate) of DMP transesterification catalyzed by LCu(2).  相似文献

Product formation pathways in the photolytically initiated oxidation of CH3OCH3 have been investigated as a function of temperature (298-600 K) and pressure (20-90 Torr) through the detection of HO2 and OH using Near-infrared frequency modulation spectroscopy, as well as the detection of CH3OCH2O2 using UV absorption spectroscopy. The reaction was initiated by pulsed photolysis with a mixture of Cl2, O2, and CH3OCH3. The HO2 and OH yield is obtained by comparison with an established reference mixture, including CH3OH. The CH3OCH2O2 yield is also obtained through the procedure of estimating the CH3OCH2O2/HO2 ratio from their UV absorption. A notable finding is that the OH yield is 1 order of magnitude larger than those known in C2 and C3 alkanes, increasing from 10% to 40% with increasing temperature. The HO2 yield increases gradually until 500 K and sharply up to 40% over 500 K. The CH3OCH2O2 profile has a prompt rise, followed by a gradual decay whose time constant is consistent with slow HO2 formation. To predict species profiles and yields, simple chlorine-initiated oxidation model of DME under low-pressure condition was constructed based on the existing model and the new reaction pathways, which were derived from this study. To model rapid OH formation, OH direct formation from CH3OCH2 + O2 was required. We have also proposed that a new HCO formation pathway via QOOH isomerization to HOQO species and OH + CH3OCH2O2 --> HO2 + CH3OCH2O are to be considered, to account for the fast and slow HO2 formations, as well as the total yield. The constructed model including these new pathways has successfully predicted experimental results throughout the entire temperature and pressure ranges investigated. It was revealed that the HO2 formation mechanism changes at 500 K, i.e., HCO + O2 via HCHO + OH and the above proposed direct HCO formation dominates over 500 K, while a series of reactions following CH3OCH2O2 self-reaction and OH + CH3OCH2O2 reaction mainly contribute below 500 K. The pressure dependent rate constant of the CH3OCH2 thermal decomposition reaction has been separately measured since it has large negative sensitivity for HO2 formation and is essential to eliminate the ambiguity in the CH3OCH2 + O2 mechanism at higher temperature.  相似文献

2-Hydroxymethyl-2-methyl-1,3-propanediol (A) was reacted with (Me(3)Si)(2)NH and toluenesulfonyl chloride (TsCl) to give mainly CH(3)C(CH(2)OSiMe(3))(3) (1), and CH(3)C(CH(2)OTs)(3) (2), respectively. With allyl bromide, the products were CH(3)C(CH(2)OCH(2)CH[double bond]CH(2))(2)(CH(2)OH) (3) and CH(3)C(CH(2)OCH(2)CH[double bond]CH(2))(CH(2)OH)(2) x H(2)O (4). The reactions of 4 with perfluoroalkyl iodides (R(f)I) were catalyzed by Cu(I)Cl to form 2-methyl-2-polyfluoroalkenyloxymethyl-1,3-propanediols: (R(f)CH=CHCH(2)OCH(2))C(Me)(CH(2)OH)(2) [R(f) = C(4)F(9) (5), C(8)F(17) (6), and (CF(2)CF(2))(4)OCF(CF(3))(2) (7)]. Reduction of 5 and 6 with hydrogen gave two new 2-methyl-2-polyfluoroalkyloxymethyl-1,3-propanediols, 8 and 9. The sodium salt of 9 was reacted with allyl bromide or acetyl chloride to form (C(8)F(17)CH(2)CH(2)CH(2)OCH(2))C(Me)(CH(2)OX)(CH(2)OH)(2) [where X = CH(2)CH=CH(2) (10) or C(O)CH(3) (12)] and (C(8)F(17)CH(2)CH(2)CH(2)OCH(2))C(Me)(CH(2)OX)(2) [where X = CH(2)CH[double bond]CH(2) (11) or C(O)CH(3) (13)]. Reaction of tolenesulfonyl chloride with 7 gave the monotosylate, 14, as the sole product. With 4-trifluoromethylbenzyl bromide, the sodium salt of 4 gave (4-CF(3)C(6)H(4)CH(2)OCH(2))C(Me)(CH(2)CH[double bond]CH(2))(CH(2)OH) x H(2)O (15). The compounds were characterized by NMR ((1)H, (13)C, (19)F, (29)Si), GC-MS, and high-resolution MS or elemental analyses. UV evidence was obtained for partitioning of 9, 12, 14, and 15 between perfluorodecalin and n-octanol. The test compounds acted as surfactants by facilitating the solubility of phenol and Si(CH[double bond]CH(2))(4) in perfluorodecalin. The single-crystal X-ray structure of 8 was also obtained. It crystallized in the monoclinic space group P2(1)/c, and unit cell dimensions were a = 24.966(2) A (alpha = 90), b = 6.1371(6) A (beta = 100.730(2)), and c = 10.5669(10) A (gamma = 90).  相似文献

In this study, the origins of diastereoselectivity in the hydrogen bonding assisted Diels-Alder reactions of chiral dienes with achiral dienophiles have been investigated with density functional methods. The distortion/interaction model has been applied to shed light on the origins of selectivity. C9-Substituted chiral anthracene templates (R = (CH(3))(OCH(3))(H), R = (CH(3))(OH)(H), R = (CH(3))(CH(2)CH(3))(H) and R = (-CH(2)-C(CH(3))(OCH(3))(H)) are used to rationalize the role of a stereogenic center and H-bonding on the product distribution ratio. Even though hydrogen bonding increases the reactivity of the diene, the stereoselectivity is reduced because of the hydrogen bonding capacity of both diastereomeric transition states. The interaction energies of the studied anthracene templates with N-methyl maleimide at the transition state correlate linearly with an increase in reactivity. The selectivity is determined by both favorable distortion and interaction energies. The π-facial selectivity induced by the presence of a chiral auxiliary in 1-substituted 1,3-pentadienes (R1 = (CH(3))(OCH(3))(H) and R1 = (CH(3))(OH)(H)) has also been modeled in order to rationalize the role of the stereogenic center and H-bonding on the stereoselectivity of an aliphatic diene. In both parts, the product distribution ratios calculated from Boltzmann distributions based on Gibbs free energies are in reasonable agreement with the experimental results. Finally the role of OH-substituted five-membered pyrrolidine on C9 of anthracene is investigated since the successful usage of the conformationally rigid pyrrolidines in asymmetric synthesis is well known. Overall, both in the acyclic system and in anthracene, the facilitation due to H-bonding is reflected in the interaction energies: the higher the difference in interaction energies in the transition structures of the two diastereomers, the more selective the H-bonding assisted Diels-Alder reaction is.  相似文献

Reaction of the platinum(III) dimeric complex [Pt(2)(NH(3))(4)((CH(3))(3)CCONH)(2)(NO(3))(2)](NO(3))(2) (1), prepared in situ by the oxidation of the platinum blue complex [Pt(4)(NH(3))(8)((CH(3))(3)CCONH)(4)](NO(3))(5) (2) with Na(2)S(2)O(8), with terminal alkynes CH[triple bond]CR (R = (CH(2))(n)CH(3) (n = 2-5), (CH(2))(n)CH(2)OH (n = 0-2), CH(2)OCH(3), and Ph), in water gave a series of ketonyl-Pt(III) dinuclear complexes [Pt(2)(NH(3))(4)((CH(3))(3)CCONH)(2)(CH(2)COR)](NO(3))(3) (3, R = (CH(2))(2)CH(3); 4, R = (CH(2))(3)CH(3); 5, R = (CH(2))(4)CH(3); 6, R = (CH(2))(5)CH(3); 7, R = CH(2)OH; 8, R = CH(2)CH(2)OH; 9, R = (CH(2))(2)CH(2)OH; 10, R = CH(2)OCH(3); 11, R = Ph). Internal alkyne 2-butyne reacted with 1 to form the complex [Pt(2)(NH(3))(4)((CH(3))(3)CCONH)(2)(CH(CH(3))COCH(3))](NO(3))(3) (12). These reactions show that Pt(III) reacts with alkynes to give various ketonyl complexes. Coordination of the triple bond to the Pt(III) atom at the axial position, followed by nucleophilic attack of water and hydrogen shift from the enol to keto form, would be the mechanism. The structures of complexes 3.H(2)O, 7.0.5C(3)H(4)O, 9, 10, and 12 have been confirmed by X-ray diffraction analysis. A competitive reaction between equimolar 1-pentyne and 1-pentene toward 1 produced complex 3 and [Pt(2)(NH(3))(4)((CH(3))(3)CCONH)(2)(CH(2)CH(OH)CH(2)CH(2)CH(3))](NO(3))(3) (14) at a molar ratio of 9:1, suggesting that alkyne is more reactive than alkene. The ketonyl-Pt(III) dinuclear complexes are susceptible to nucleophiles, such as amines, and the reactions with secondary and tertiary amines give the corresponding alpha-amino-substituted ketones and the reduced Pt(II) complex quantitatively. In the reactions with primary amines, the once formed alpha-amino-substituted ketones were further converted to the iminoketones and diimines. The nucleophilic attack at the ketonyl group of the Pt(III) complexes provides a convenient means for the preparation of alpha-aminoketones, alpha-iminoketones, and diimines from the corresponding alkynes and amines.  相似文献

Reactions during the atomic layer deposition (ALD) process of ZrO(2) from Cp(2)Zr(CH(3))(2) and deuterated water as precursors were studied with a quadrupole mass spectrometer (QMS) at 210-440 degrees C. The detected reaction byproducts were CpD (m/z = 67) and CH(3)D (m/z = 17). Almost all (90%) of the CH(3) ligands were released during the Cp(2)Zr(CH(3))(2) precursor pulse because of exchange reactions with the OD-terminated surface, and the rest, during the D(2)O pulse. About 40% of the CpD was released during the metal precursor pulse, and 60%, during the D(2)O pulse. ALD-type self-limiting growth was confirmed from 210 to 400 degrees C. However, below 300 degrees C the growth rate was low. Precursor decomposition affected the film growth mechanism at temperatures exceeding 400 degrees C.  相似文献

A new type of double-butterfly [[Fe(2)(mu-CO)(CO)(6)](2)(mu-SZS-mu)](2-) (3), a dianion that has two mu-CO ligands, has been synthesized from dithiol HSZSH (Z=(CH(2))(4), CH(2)(CH(2)OCH(2))(1-3)CH(2)), [Fe(3)(CO)(12)], and Et(3)N in a molar ratio of 1:2:2 at room temperature. Interestingly, the in situ reactions of dianions 3 with various electrophiles affords a series of novel linear and macrocyclic butterfly Fe/E (E=S, Se) cluster complexes. For instance, while reactions of 3 with PhC(O)Cl and Ph(2)PCl give linear clusters [[Fe(2)(mu-PhCO)(CO)(6)](2)(mu-SZS-mu)] (4 a,b: Z=CH(2)(CH(2)OCH(2))(2,3)CH(2)) and [[Fe(2)(mu-Ph(2)P)(CO)(6)](2)(mu-SZS-mu)] (5 a,b: Z=CH(2)(CH(2)OCH(2))(2,3)CH(2)), reactions with CS(2) followed by treatment with monohalides RX or dihalides X-Y-X give both linear clusters [[Fe(2)(mu-RCS(2))(CO)(6)](2)(mu-SZS-mu)] (6 a-e: Z=CH(2)(CH(2)OCH(2))(1,2)CH(2); R=Me, PhCH(2), FeCp(CO)(2)) and macrocyclic clusters [[Fe(2)(CO)(6)](2)(mu-SZS-mu)(mu-CS(2)YCS(2)-mu)] (7 a-e: Z=(CH(2))(4), CH(2)(CH(2)OCH(2))(1-3)CH(2); Y=(CH(2))(2-4), 1,3,5-Me(CH(2))(2)C(6)H(3), 1,4-(CH(2))(2)C(6)H(4)). In addition, reactions of dianions 3 with [Fe(2)(mu-S(2))(CO)(6)] followed by treatment with RX or X-Y-X give linear clusters [[[Fe(2)(CO)(6)](2)(mu-RS)(mu(4)-S)](2)(mu-SZS-mu)] (8 a-c: Z=CH(2)(CH(2)OCH(2))(1,2)CH(2); R=Me, PhCH(2)) and macrocyclic clusters [[[Fe(2)(CO)(6)](2)(mu(4)-S)](2)(mu-SYS-mu)(mu-SZS-mu)] (9 a,b: Z=CH(2)(CH(2)OCH(2))(2,3)CH(2); Y=(CH(2))(4)), and reactions with SeCl(2) afford macrocycles [[Fe(2)(CO)(6)](2)(mu(4)-Se)(mu-SZS-mu)] (10 d: Z=CH(2)(CH(2)OCH(2))(3)CH(2)) and [[[Fe(2)(CO)(6)](2)(mu(4)-Se)](2)(mu-SZS-mu)(2)] (11 a-d: Z=(CH(2))(4), CH(2)(CH(2)OCH(2))(1-3)CH(2)). Production pathways have been suggested; these involve initial nucleophilic attacks by the Fe-centered dianions 3 at the corresponding electrophiles. All the products are new and have been characterized by combustion analysis and spectroscopy, and by X-ray diffraction techniques for 6 c, 7 d, 9 b, 10 d, and 11 c in particular. X-ray diffraction analyses revealed that the double-butterfly cluster core Fe(4)S(2)Se in 10 d is severely distorted in comparison to that in 11 c. In view of the Z chains in 10 a-c being shorter than the chain in 10 d, the double cluster core Fe(4)S(2)Se in 10 a-c would be expected to be even more severely distorted, a possible reason for why 10 a-c could not be formed.  相似文献

Relative rate techniques were used to study the kinetics of the reactions of Cl atoms and OH radicals with ethylene glycol diacetate, CH3C(O)O(CH2)2OC(O)CH3, in 700 Torr of N2/O2 diluent at 296 K. The rate constants measured were k(Cl + CH3C(O)O(CH2)2OC(O)CH3) = (5.7 +/- 1.1) x 10(-12) and k(OH + CH3C(O)O(CH2)2OC(O)CH3) = (2.36 +/- 0.34) x 10(-12) cm3 molecule-1 s-1. Product studies of the Cl atom initiated oxidation of ethylene glycol diacetate in the absence of NO in 700 Torr of O2/N2 diluent at 296 K show the primary products to be CH3C(O)OC(O)CH2OC(O)CH3, CH3C(O)OC(O)H, and CH3C(O)OH. Product studies of the Cl atom initiated oxidation of ethylene glycol diacetate in the presence of NO in 700 Torr of O2/N2 diluent at 296 K show the primary products to be CH3C(O)OC(O)H and CH3C(O)OH. The CH3C(O)OCH2O* radical is formed during the Cl atom initiated oxidation of ethylene glycol diacetate, and two loss mechanisms were identified: reaction with O2 to give CH3C(O)OC(O)H and alpha-ester rearrangement to give CH3C(O)OH and HC(O) radicals. The reaction of CH3C(O)OCH2O2* with NO gives chemically activated CH3C(O)OCH2O* radicals which are more likely to undergo decomposition via the alpha-ester rearrangement than CH3C(O)OCH2O* radicals produced in the peroxy radical self-reaction.  相似文献

The reactions of [N(3)P(3)Cl(6)] with one, two, or three equivalents of the difunctional 1,2-closo-carborane C(2)B(10)H(10)[CH(2)OH](2) and K(2)CO(3) in acetone have been investigated. These reactions led to the new spiro-closo-carboranylphosphazenes gem-[N(3)P(3)Cl(6-2n)[(OCH(2))(2)C(2)B(10)H(10)](n)] (n=1 (1), 2 (2)) and the first fully carborane-substituted phosphazene gem-[N(3)P(3)[(OCH(2))(2)C(2)B(10)H(10)](3)] (3). A bridged product, non-gem-[N(3)P(3)Cl(4)[(OCH(2))(2)C(2)B(10)H(10)]] (4), was also detected. The reaction of the well-known spiro derivatives [N(3)P(3)Cl(2)(O(2)C(12)H(8))(2)] and [N(3)P(3)Cl(4)(O(2)C(12)H(8))] with the same carborane-diol and K(2)CO(3) in acetone gave the new compounds gem-[N(3)P(3)(O(2)C(12)H(8))(3-n)[(OCH(2))(2)C(2)B(10)H(10)](n)] (n=1 (5) or 2 (6), respectively), without signs of intra- or intermolecularly bridged species. Upon treatment with NEt(3) in acetone, compound 5 was converted into the corresponding nido-carboranylphosphazene. However, the reaction of gem-[N(3)P(3)(O(2)C(12)H(8))(2)[(OCH(2))(2)C(2)B(10)H(10)]] (5) with NEt(3) in ethanol instead of acetone proceeded in a different manner to give the new compound (NHEt(3))(2)[N(3)P(3)(O(2)C(12)H(8))(2)(O)[OCH(2)C(2)B(9)H(10)CH(2)OCH(2)CH(3)]] (7). For compounds with two 2,2'-dioxybiphenyl units, gem-[N(3)P(3)(O(2)C(12)H(8))(2)[(OCH(2))(2)C(2)B(10)H(10)]] (5), (NHEt(3))[N(3)P(3)(O(2)C(12)H(8))(2)[(OCH(2))(2)C(2)B(9)H(10)]] (8), and (NHEt(3))(2)[N(3)P(3)(O(2)C(12)H(8))(2)(O)[OCH(2)C(2)B(9)H(10)CH(2)OCH(2)CH(3)]] (7), a mixture of different stereoisomers may be expected. However, for 5 and 7 only the meso compounds seem to be formed, with the same (R,S)-configuration as in the precursor [N(3)P(3)Cl(2)(O(2)C(12)H(8))(2)]. The reaction of 5 to give 8 seems to proceed with a change of configuration at one phosphorus center, giving a racemic mixture. The crystal structures of the nido-carboranylphosphazenes 7 and 8 have been confirmed by X-ray diffraction methods.  相似文献

The reaction of cis-[Ru(NO)(CH(3)CN)(bpy)(2)](3+) (bpy = 2,2'-bipyridine) in H(2)O at room temperature proceeded to afford two new nitrosylruthenium complexes. These complexes have been identified as nitrosylruthenium complexes containing the N-bound methylcarboxyimidato ligand, cis-[Ru(NO)(NH=C(O)CH(3))(bpy)(2)](2+), and methylcarboxyimido acid ligand, cis-[Ru(NO)(NH=C(OH)CH(3))(bpy)(2)](3+), formed by an electrophilic reaction at the nitrile carbon of the acetonitrile coordinated to the ruthenium ion. The X-ray structure analysis on a single crystal obtained from CH(3)CN-H(2)O solution of cis-[Ru(NO)(NH=C(O)CH(3))(bpy)(2)](PF(6))(3) has been performed: C(22)H(20.5)N(6)O(2)P(2.5)F(15)Ru, orthorhombic, Pccn, a = 15.966(1) A, b = 31.839(1) A, c = 11.707(1) A, V = 5950.8(4) A(3), and Z = 8. The structural results revealed that the single crystal consisted of 1:1 mixture of cis-[Ru(NO)(NH=C(O)CH(3))(bpy)(2)](2+) and cis-[Ru(NO)(NH=C(OH)CH(3))(bpy)(2)](3+) and the structural formula of this single crystal was thus [Ru(NO)(NH=C(OH(0.5))CH(3))(bpy)(2)](PF(6))(2.5). The reaction of cis-[Ru(NO)(CH(3)CN)(bpy)(2)](3+) in dry CH(3)OH-CH(3)CN at room temperature afforded a nitrosylruthenium complex containing the methyl methylcarboxyimidate ligand, cis-[Ru(NO)(NH=C(OCH(3))CH(3))(bpy)(2)](3+). The structure has been determined by X-ray structure analysis: C(25)H(29)N(8)O(18)Cl(3)Ru, monoclinic, P2(1)/c, a = 13.129(1) A, b = 17.053(1) A, c = 15.711(1) A, beta = 90.876(5) degrees, V = 3517.3(4) A(3), and Z = 4.  相似文献

Free radical addition reactions of tetrahydrothiophene, pentamethylene sulfide, and 1,4-thioxane with various cyclic and acyclic per- and polyfluorinated olefins are readily initiated by di-tert-butyl peroxide, providing a convenient route for synthesizing cyclic sulfanes with fluorinated side groups. Tetrahydrothiophene reacts with hexafluoropropene, perfluoroallylbenzene, perfluorocyclobutene, and 1,2-dichlorotetrafluorocyclobutene in the presence of catalytic amounts of the peroxide to give the corresponding addition products CH(2)CH(2)CH(2)SCHCF(2)CHFCF(3) (1), CH(2)CH(2)CH(2)SCHCF(2)CHFCF(2)C(6)F(5) (2), CH(2)CH(2)CH(2)SCHCFCHFCF(2)CF(2) (3), and CH(2)CH(2)CH(2)SCHCClCHClCF(2)CF(2) (4), respectively. Pentamethylene sulfide reacts analogously with hexafluoropropene to give CH(2)CH(2)CH(2)CH(2)SCHCF(2)CHFCF(3) (8). Reaction of 1,4-thioxane with hexafluoropropene or perfluoroallylbenzene gives a mixture of two products, OCH(2)CH(2)SCH(2)CHCF(2)CHFCF(3) (9) and SCH(2)CH(2)OCH(2)CHCF(2)CHFCF(3) (10) or OCH(2)CH(2)SCH(2)CHCF(2)CHFCF(2)C(6)F(5) (11) and SCH(2)CH(2)OCH(2)CHCF(2)CHFCF(2)C(6)F(5) (12), respectively. Fluorinated alcohols C(6)F(5)CF(2)CHFCF(2)C(CH(3))(2)OH (15), C(6)F(5)CF(2)CHFCF(2)CH(CH(3))OH (16), and C(6)F(5)CF(2)CHFCF(2)CH(2)OH (17) are prepared by reacting perfluoroallylbenzene with the corresponding alcohols. When 15 is reacted with pentafluorobenzonitrile in the presence of potassium carbonate, an unexpected cyclic ether 19 is obtained as the major product in addition to C(6)F(5)CF(2)CHFCF(2)C(CH(3))(2)OC(6)F(5)CN (18). Alcohols 15-17 can be cyclized by heating with potassium carbonate to give fluorinated cyclic ethers 19-21. The X-ray crystal structures of acyclic ether 18 and cyclic ether 19 are given. Compound 18 crystallizes in the tetragonal system, space group P4(2)/n, with a = 18.471(0) ?, b = 18.471(0) ?, c = 11.702(0) ?, V = 3992.5(9) ?(3), D(calc) = 1.768 mg/m(3), Z = 8, and R = 0.0617. Compound 19 crystallizes in the triclinic system, space group P&onemacr;, with a = 8.103(3) ?, b = 8.790(3) ?, c = 9.832(3) ?, alpha = 66.25(4) degrees, beta = 72.01(3) degrees, gamma = 80.19(4) degrees, V = 608.7(4) ?(3), D(calc) = 1.845 mg/m(3), Z = 2, and R = 0.0346.  相似文献

Apparent molar relative enthalpies were measured for the nonionic ethoxylated surfactant CH(3)-(CH(2))(5)-(OCH(2)-CH(2))(5)OH (C(6)E(5)) in aqueous solution at constant molality of the ionic surfactant CH(3)-(CH(2))(5)-SO(-)(3)Na(+)(C(6)SNa) at 25 degrees C. The experimental data obtained by a stepwise dilution process allowed evaluation of the C(6)E(5) first interaction parameter at several constant molalities of C(6)SNa. The C(6)E(5) critical micelle composition as a function of the C(6)SNa molality was also estimated. The experimental calorimetric data, together with the mixed micelles composition computed in the past by some of us [Ciccarelli et al., Langmuir 14, 7130 (1998)], allowed computation of the Deltah(Mic) of micellization. The experimental data are compared to those predicted by the ideal solution model and regular solution model of mixed micellization. From a calorimetric study performed on the water-hexanol-C(6)SNa and water-penthaethylene glycol-C(6)SNa model systems, it can be argued that the interactions among the hydrophilic heads in the C(6)E(5)-C(6)SNa mixed micelles prevail on the contribution of the hydrophobic tails in ruling the enthalpic properties of the system.  相似文献

The oxidation of (tmeda)Pt(II)(CH(3))(2) (1, tmeda = N,N,N',N'-tetramethylethylenediamine) to (tmeda)Pt(IV)(OH)(OCH(3))(CH(3))(2) (3) by dioxygen in methanol proceeds via a two-step mechanism. The initial reaction between (tmeda)Pt(CH(3))(2) and dioxygen yields a hydroperoxoplatinum(IV) intermediate, (tmeda)Pt(OOH)(OCH(3))(CH(3))(2) (2), which reacts with a second equivalent of (tmeda)Pt(CH(3))(2) to afford the final product 3. Both 2 and 3 have been fully characterized, including X-ray crystallographic structure determinations. The effect of ligand variation on the oxidation of several dimethylplatinum(II) complexes by 2 as well as by dioxygen has been examined.  相似文献

The bitopic ligand p-C(6)H(4)[CH(2)OCH(2)C(pz)(3)](2) (pz = pyrazolyl ring) that contains two tris(pyrazolyl)methane units connected by a semirigid organic spacer reacts with silver(I) salts to yield [p-C(6)H(4)[CH(2)OCH(2)C(pz)(3)](2)(AgX)(2)]( infinity ), where X = CF(3)SO(3)(-) (1), SbF(6)(-) (2), PF(6)(-) (3), BF(4)(-) (4), and NO(3)(-) (5). Crystallization of the first three compounds from acetone yields [p-C(6)H(4)[CH(2)OCH(2)C(pz)(3)](2)(AgCF(3)SO(3))(2)]( infinity ) (1a), [p-C(6)H(4)[CH(2)OCH(2)C(pz)(3)](2)(AgSbF(6))(2)[(CH(3))(2)CO](2)]( infinity ) (2b), and [p-C(6)H(4)[CH(2)OCH(2)C(pz)(3)](2)AgPF(6)]( infinity ) (3a), where the stoichiometry for the latter compound has changed from a metal:ligand ratio of 2:1 to 1:1. The structure of 1a is based on helical argentachains constructed by a kappa(2)-kappa(1) coordination to silver of the tris(pyrazolyl)methane units. These chains are organized into a tubular 3D structure by cylindrical [(CF(3)SO(3))(6)](6)(-) clusters that form weak C-H...O hydrogen bonds with the bitopic ligand. The same kappa(2)-kappa(1) coordination is present in the structure of 2a, but the structure is organized by six different tris(pyrazolyl)methane units from six ligands bonding with six silvers to form a 36-member argentamacrocycle core. The cores are organized in a tubular array by the organic spacers where each pair of macrocycles sandwich six acetone molecules and one SbF(6)(-) counterion. The structure of 3a is based on a kappa(2)-kappa(0) coordination mode of each tris(pyrazolyl)methane unit forming a helical coordination polymer, with two strands organized in a double stranded helical structure by a series of C-H...pi interactions between the central arene rings. Crystallization of 2-4 from acetonitrile yields complexes of the formula [p-C(6)H(4)[CH(2)OCH(2)C(pz)(3)](2)[(AgX)(2)(CH(3)CN)(n)]]( infinity ) where n = 2 for X = SbF(6)(-) (2b), X = PF(6)(-) (3b) and n = 1 for X = BF(4)(-) (4b). All three structures contain argentachains formed by a kappa(2)-kappa(1) coordination mode of the tris(pyrazolyl)methane units linked by the organic spacer and arranged in a 2D sheet structure with the anions sandwiched between the sheets. Crystallization of 5 from acetonitrile yields crystals of the formula [p-C(6)H(4)[CH(2)OCH(2)C(pz)(3)](2)(AgNO(3))(2)(CH(3)CN)(4)]( infinity ), where the nitrate is bonded to the silver. The argentachains, again formed by kappa(2)-kappa(1) coordination, are arranged in W-shaped sheets that have an overall configuration very different from 2b-4b. Treating [p-C(6)H(4)[CH(2)OCH(2)C(pz)(3)](2)(AgSbF(6))(2)]( infinity ) with a saturated aqueous solution of KPF(6) or KO(3)SCF(3) slowly leads to complete exchange of the anion. Crystallization of a sample that contains an approximately equal mixture of SbF(6)(-)/PF(6)(-) from acetonitrile yields [p-C(6)H(4)[CH(2)OCH(2)C(pz)(3)](2)[Ag(2)(PF(6))(0.78(1))(SbF(6))(1.22(1))(CH(3)CN)(2)][(CH(3)CN)(0.25) (C(4)H(10)O)(0.25)]]( infinity ), a compound with a sheet structure analogous to 2b-4b. Crystallization of the same mixture from acetone yields [p-C(6)H(4)[CH(2)OCH(2)C(pz)(3)](2)(AgSbF(6))[(CH(3))(2)CO](1.5)]( infinity ), where the metal-to-ligand ratio is 1:1 and the [C(pz)(3)] units are kappa(2)-kappa(0) bonded forming a coordination polymer. The supramolecular structures of all species are organized by a combination of C-H...pi, pi-pi, or weak C-H-F(O) hydrogen bonding interactions.  相似文献

Tantalum complexes [TaCp*Me{κ(4)-C,N,O,O-(OCH(2))(OCHC(CH(2)NMe(2))=CH)py}] (4) and [TaCp*Me{κ(4)-C,N,O,O-(OCH(2))(OCHC(CH(2)NH(2))=CH)py}] (5), which contain modified alkoxide pincer ligands, were synthesized from the reactions of [TaCp*Me{κ(3)-N,O,O-(OCH(2))(OCH)py}] (Cp* = η(5)-C(5)Me(5)) with HC≡CCH(2)NMe(2) and HC≡CCH(2)NH(2), respectively. The reactions of [TaCp*Me{κ(4)-C,N,O,O-(OCH(2))(OCHC(Ph)=CH)py}] (2) and [TaCp*Me{κ(4)-C,N,O,O-(OCH(2))(OCHC(SiMe(3))=CH)py}] (3) with triflic acid (1:2 molar ratio) rendered the corresponding bis-triflate derivatives [TaCp*(OTf)(2){κ(3)-N,O,O-(OCH(2))(OCHC(Ph)=CH(2))py}] (6) and [TaCp*(OTf)(2){κ(3)-N,O,O-(OCH(2))(OCHC(SiMe(3))=CH(2))py}] (7), respectively. Complex 4 reacted with triflic acid in a 1:2 molar ratio to selectively yield the water-soluble cationic complex [TaCp*(OTf){κ(4)-C,N,O,O-(OCH(2))(OCHC(CH(2)NHMe(2))=CH)py}]OTf (8). Compound 8 reacted with water to afford the hydrolyzed complex [TaCp*(OH)(H(2)O){κ(3)-N,O,O-(OCH(2))(OCHC(CH(2)NHMe(2))=CH(2))py}](OTf)(2) (9). Protonation of compound 8 with triflic acid gave the new tantalum compound [TaCp*(OTf){κ(4)-C,N,O,O-(OCH(2))(HOCHC(CH(2)NHMe(2))=CH)py}](OTf)(2) (10), which afforded the corresponding protonolysis derivative [TaCp*(OTf)(2){κ(3)-N,O,O-(OCH(2))(HOCHC(CH(2)NHMe(2))=CH(2))py}](OTf) (11) in solution. Complex 8 reacted with CNtBu and potassium 2-isocyanoacetate to give the corresponding iminoacyl derivatives 12 and 13, respectively. The molecular structures of complexes 5, 7, and 10 were established by single-crystal X-ray diffraction studies.  相似文献
