Generalized Mbius Inversion Theory Associated with Non-Standard Analysis

This brief note announces a comprehensive result that includes as particular cases not only the extended Mbius-Rota inversion formulas (cf.[1]) but also some classic inverse relations in analysis (e. g. the fundamental theorem for integral calculus and a kind of Fredholm convolution integral transforms with variable upper limits).

Critical Point Theorems and Applications to Differential Equations

This paper contains a generalization of the well-known Palais-Smale and Cerami compactness conditions. The compactness condition introduced is used to prove some general existence theorems for critical points. Some applications are given to differential equations.     

Abstract Theory of Pointwise Decay with Applications to Wave and Schrödinger Equations

We prove pointwise in time decay estimates via an abstract conjugate operator method. This is then applied to a large class of dispersive equations.     

Generalized Angles in Ptolemaic Möbius Structures

We show that each Ptolemaic semimetric is Möbius-equivalent to a bounded metric. Introducing generalized angles in Ptolemaic Möbius structures, we study the class of multivalued mappings F: X → 2Y with a lower bound on the distortion of generalized angles. We prove that the inverse mapping to the coordinate function of a quasimeromorphic automorphism of ?? ⁿ lies in this class.     

The Generalized KKM Map and Its Applications to Variational Inequalities

In this paper,applying the concept of generalized KKM map,we study problems ofvariational inequalities.We weaken convexity(concavity)conditions for a functional of two variables■(x,y)in the general variational inequalities.Last,we show a proof of non-topological degree meth-od of acute angle principle about monotone operator as an application of these results.     

Applications of Measure of Noncompactness and Darbo’s Fixed Point Theorem to Nonlinear Integral Equations in Banach Spaces

We prove a theorem on the existence of solutions of some nonlinear functional integral equations in the Banach algebra of continuous functions on the interval [0,a]. Then we consider a nonlinear integral equation of fractional order and give some sufficient conditions for existence of solutions of this equation. We use fixed point theorems associated with the measure of noncompactness as the main tool. Our existence results include several results obtained in previous studies. Finally we present some examples which show that our results are applicable.

Generalized Variational Relation Problems with Applications

In this paper, we first obtain an existence theorem of the solutions for a variational relation problem. An existence theorem for a variational inclusion problem, a KKM theorem and an extension of the well know Ky Fan inequality will be established, as particular cases. Some applications concerning a saddle point problem with constraints, existence of a common fixed point for two mappings and an optimization problem with constraints, will be given in the last section of the paper.

Number of embeddings of circular and Mbius ladders on surfaces

There are many results on the flexibility of(general) embeddings of graphs,but few are known about that of strong embeddings.In this paper,we study the flexibility of strong embeddings of circular and Mbius ladders on the projective plane and the Klein bottle by using the joint tree model of embeddings.The numbers of(nonequivalent) general embeddings and strong embeddings of circular and Mbius ladders on these two nonorientable surfaces are obtained,respectively.And the structures of those strong embeddings are described.     

A complete classification of Blaschke parallel submanifolds with vanishing Mbius form

The Blaschke tensor and the Mbius form are two of the fundamental invariants in the Mobius geometry of submanifolds;an umbilic-free immersed submanifold in real space forms is called Blaschke parallel if its Blaschke tensor is parallel.We prove a theorem which,together with the known classification result for Mobius isotropic submanifolds,successfully establishes a complete classification of the Blaschke parallel submanifolds in S~n with vanishing Mobius form.Before doing so,a broad class of new examples of general codimensions is explicitly constructed.     

Exact Solutions of Fisher and Generalized Fisher Equations with Variable Coefficients

In this work,we consider a Fisher and generalized Fisher equations with variable coefficients.Usingtruncated Painlevé expansions of these equations,we obtain exact solutions of these equations with a constrainton the coefficients a(t)and b(t).
