Wind turbine blade failure is the most prominent and common type of damage occurring in operating wind turbine systems. Conventional nondestructive testing systems are not available for in situ wind turbine blades. We propose a portable long distance ultrasonic propagation imaging (LUPI) system that uses a laser beam targeting and scanning system to excite, from a long distance, acoustic emission sensors installed in the blade. An examination of the beam collimation effect using geometric parameters of a commercial 2 MW wind turbine provided Lamb wave amplitude increases of 41.5 and 23.1 dB at a distance of 40 m for symmetrical and asymmetrical modes, respectively, in a 2 mm-thick stainless steel plate. With this improvement in signal-to-noise ratio, a feasibility study of damage detection was conducted with a 5 mm-thick composite leading edge specimen. To develop a reliable damage evaluation system, the excitation/sensing technology and the associated damage visualization algorithm are equally important. Hence, our results provide a new platform based on anomalous wave propagation imaging (AWPI) methods with adjacent wave subtraction, reference wave subtraction, reference image subtraction, and the variable time window amplitude mapping method. The advantages and disadvantages of AWPI algorithms are reported in terms of reference data requirements, signal-to-noise ratios, and damage evaluation accuracy. The compactness and portability of the proposed UPI system are also important for in-field applications at wind farms.  相似文献

给出了一种基于一步相移法的水浸超声检测快速频域算法,以适用于液浸式相控阵成像。通过在阵列信号频域乘以相移因子,将阵列虚拟延拓至水浸工件表面,再进行单介质频域成像。相比时域延时叠加算法,节省了计算界面折射点的用时。对于垂直入射平面波检测,提出一种网格匹配的方法,通过调整傅里叶变换的点数,使阵列信号频域和图像频域的采样网格相重合,有效地减少了频域插值误差和伪像,进一步降低了运算次数.实验结果表明,网格匹配频域算法的运算次数仅为时域平面波算法的1/60,为水浸式超声实时检测提供了一种可行方案。  相似文献

A comparison between three mathematical models frequently used in flow acoustics is presented and discussed with respect to ultrasonic flow-meter performance based on the transit-time method. The flow-meter spoolpiece geometry is assumed to be a cylindrical pipe. Semi-analytical calculations employing the Frobenius power series expansion method are shown for the cases of a constant-, linear-, parabolic-, and cubic-flow profiles although the Frobenius method presented can be applied to any smooth flow profile. It is shown that the so-called deviation of measurement, often used as a measure of the flow-meter accuracy, is strongly dependent on the acoustic mode excited and the flow profile. Furthermore, differences with respect to deviation of measurement results exist among the three mathematical models analyzed.  相似文献

Based on the propagation X ray phase contrast imaging theory, a spatial domain constraint iterative phase retrieval method is described in detail. This algorithm limits the object spatial domain according to the actual sample size firstly, and modify the image plane data with the actual test data, then the iteration can be terminated until iteration precision or the number of iterations meet the preset requirements. Finally the numerical simulation is made to evaluate the rapid phase retrieval algorithm performance, and a real column fiber material experiment is carried out using a micro focus X ray phase contrast imaging experiment platform, the phase distribution image of the column fiber is calculated out by this algorithm. The results show that this phase retrieval algorithm is effective, and the method has a potential stability and accuracy for X ray phase contrast imaging technology.  相似文献

The wavelet transform (WT) and linear canonical transform (LCT) have been shown to be powerful tool for optics and signal processing. In this paper, firstly, we introduce a novel time-frequency transformation tool coined the generalized wavelet transform (GWT), based on the idea of the LCT and WT. Then, we derive some fundamental results of this transform, including its basis properties, inner product theorem and convolution theorem, inverse formula and admissibility condition. Further, we also discuss the time-fractional-frequency resolution of the GWT. The GWT is capable of representing signals in the time-fractional-frequency plane. Last, some potential applications of the GWT are also presented to show the advantage of the theory. The GWT can circumvent the limitations of the WT and the LCT.  相似文献

A metal object is computer visualized by registration of the amplitudes of the transmitted through the object short acoustic pulses. The pulses are separated by time, because of the presence of holes and internal compact components in the longitudinal section (structure along the propagation direction of acoustic wave). The acoustic field transmitted through the object is composited from a field presenting Fourier transformation of the hole shape and field, transmitted through the metal components in the longitudinal section of the object. A computer Fourier transformation of the digital data of the amplitude fields transmitted through the object components is performed instead of converging lens. The Fourier series of the object obtained as digital data after the transformation is multiplied with a term, describing the angle distribution of the field on spatial frequencies. The reconstruction of the image of the metal components is performed by reverse transformation, i.e. summing up in all spatial frequencies. 3D visualization of the transmitted through the hole acoustic field determines the hole geometry (circular, square, rectangular).It is shown that at the transmission of a short acoustic pulse through the components with different thicknesses and holes, presenting Fourier and non-Fourier transformation can be registered separately in contrast to the optics.  相似文献

The objective of this paper is to develop a nondestructive method for estimating the fracture toughness (K(IC)) of CrMoV steels used as the rotor material of steam turbines in power plants. To achieve this objective, a number of CrMoV steel samples were heat-treated, and the fracture appearance transition temperature (FATT) was determined as a function of aging time. Nonlinear ultrasonics was employed as the theoretical basis to explain the harmonic generation in a damaged material, and the nonlinearity parameter of the second harmonic wave was the experimental measure used to be correlated to the fracture toughness of the rotor steel. The nondestructive procedure for estimating the K(IC) consists of two steps. First, the correlations between the nonlinearity parameter and the FATT are sought. The FATT values are then used to estimate K(IC) using the K(IC) versus excess temperature (i.e., T-FATT) correlation that is available in the literature for CrMoV rotor steel.  相似文献

针对远距离复杂背景下红外小目标检测问题,本文提出了一种基于小波高频距离像的方法。该方法首先将处理空间变换到小波域,通过分析残留背景、目标和噪声系数在高频子带的差异,定义基于邻域均值的子带系数表达形式,构造高频子带系数的中心向量,对小波高频图像进行综合形成距离像,得到红外复杂背景的抑制结果。在此基础上,利用恒虚警率算法将单帧背景抑制图像分割成候选目标、残留背景和噪声像素点。最后,在时间域基于目标运动的相关性,利用管道滤波实现红外小目标的最终检测。仿真实验结果表明,相对于经典算法,本文方法可以实现对红外复杂背景的有效抑制,增强目标信号的强度,准确稳定的从红外复杂背景中检测出小目标。  相似文献

针对包含近源障碍物条件下的电波传播问题,提出了一种新颖的电波传播预测混合建模方法:矩量法(MOM)和圆柱坐标系抛物方程法(PEM)混合建模方法(MOM-PEM);MOM用于包含辐射源和近源障碍物的小圆柱区域内的电波传播建模,PEM用于MOM计算空间外的大区域范围内电波传播建模。MOM和PEM的计算过渡区域进行精细化网格剖分处理以避免场强数值传递的不兼容。仿真模拟了三类近源障碍物存在场景下的电波传播问题:有限开窗屏障碍物、立方体障碍物以及包含辐射源的半封闭空间障碍物,并将混合算法计算得到的结果和相同环境下采用全矩量法计算得到的结果进行了数值对比,结果表明混合算法和矩量法在精度上吻合较好。  相似文献

This paper describes a novel approach to the simultaneous measurement of the phase and group velocities of Lamb waves based on images of their propagation. The laser-generation based imaging method was first introduced to obtain images of Lamb wave propagation. The time series of snapshot images is used to make a position-time diagram, and the velocities can be estimated based on the slopes of the position curves. Thus, the phase and group velocities can be obtained by measuring the phase advance and energy flow of the Lamb wave, respectively. Details of the principle of simultaneous measurement are presented herein. Experimental verification was also performed in the range of 0.2-3.0 MHz-mm using aluminum plates. The average errors between experiment and theory in the phase and group velocities were 3.31% and 5.68%, respectively.  相似文献

The present work is related to acoustic in situ free-field measurements of sound absorption in porous materials, such as cellular plastic foams, glass-wool or recycled felt materials. The emphasis is given towards fine metrology of absorption in view of potential industrial applications. A powerful ultrasonic array working at 40 kHz is used. It enables to measure absorption acoustical data down to 100 Hz due to the exploitation of the non-linear ultrasonic demodulation phenomenon in air. Fine measurements of acoustic absorption are compared to numerical predictions based on the “equivalent-fluid” model (when the squeleton frame is motionless), and to some measurements performed on a Brüel and Kjaer impedance tube. Dispersion curves are also measured and compared to the numerical predictions for some automotive felt materials which are compressed at various ratios. Data obtained with a dedicated portable instrument are also discussed for the same type of materials and configurations.  相似文献

A multiple-image encryption method is proposed that is based on row scanning compressive ghost imaging, (t, n) threshold secret sharing, and phase retrieval in the Fresnel domain. In the encryption process, after wavelet transform and Arnold transform of the target image, the ciphertext matrix can be first detected using a bucket detector. Based on a (t, n) threshold secret sharing algorithm, the measurement key used in the row scanning compressive ghost imaging can be decomposed and shared into two pairs of sub-keys, which are then reconstructed using two phase-only mask (POM) keys with fixed pixel values, placed in the input plane and transform plane 2 of the phase retrieval scheme, respectively; and the other POM key in the transform plane 1 can be generated and updated by the iterative encoding of each plaintext image. In each iteration, the target image acts as the input amplitude constraint in the input plane. During decryption, each plaintext image possessing all the correct keys can be successfully decrypted by measurement key regeneration, compression algorithm reconstruction, inverse wavelet transformation, and Fresnel transformation. Theoretical analysis and numerical simulations both verify the feasibility of the proposed method.  相似文献
