A series of novel platinum(II) complexes of diethyl (8-dqmp) and monoethyl (8-Hmqmp) ester of 8-quinolylmethylphosphonic acid has been prepared and studied. It was shown that molecular or ionic complexes could be isolated by reaction of these organophosphorus ligands with [PtX4]2− (X = Cl, Br), depending on the acidity of the reaction solution. In the neutral medium diester formed dihalide adducts, trans-[Pt(8-dqmp)2X2] (1 and 2), with N-bonded ligand through the quinoline nitrogen. Under acidic conditions (pH < 3) both ligands gave the quinolinium salt complexes [LH]2[PtX4] (3 and 4, L = 8-dqmp; 7 and 8, L = 8-Hmqmp), with protonated quinoline ligand as cation and tetrahalidoplatinate complex as anion. By heating in methanol complexes 3 and 4 were converted into the corresponding dimeric hexahalidodiplatinum complexes, [8-Hdqmp]2[Pt2X6] (5 and 6). The chelate complex [Pt(8-mqmp)2] (9), with monoester ligand bonded through the quinoline nitrogen and the deprotonated phosphonic acid oxygen and forming two seven-membered {N, O} chelate rings, was obtained in neutral and basic media by reaction of platinum(II) halides either with sodium or hydrochloride salt of this monoester. The complexes were identified and characterized by elemental and thermogravimetric analyses, conductometric measurements, and by spectroscopic studies. In vitro antitumour activity of complexes was evaluated against the human epidermoid KB and murine leukaemia L1210 cell lines. These results were compared with those obtained for the palladium(II) complexes of the same phosphonate ligands and with those of platinum(II) and palladium(II) complexes of diethyl and monoethyl 2-quinolylmethylphosphonate, in order to correlate the structural and biological properties of quinoline-based aminophosphonate compounds.  相似文献

Nickel(II) and palladium(II) form neutral 1?:?2 chelates with aromatic thiohydrazides, for example. thiobenzhydrazide, o-hydroxythiobenzhydrazide, furan-2-thiohydrazide, and thiophen-2-thiohydrazide. All the compounds are diamagnetic and have been characterized by elemental analysis and spectroscopic methods. o-Hydroxythiobenzhydrazido complexes of nickel(II) and palladium(II) were crystallized from DMSO and their structures were solved by X-ray diffraction. The complexes are isostructural with planar structures. Metal ion is linked to two identical deprotonated ligands through trans hydrazinic nitrogen and sulfur. Hydrogen of OH is involved in intramolecular hydrogen-bonding.  相似文献

Complexes CuL3Cl2, PdL2Cl2 and PtL2Cl2, where L is a novel ligand from the series of 2-substituted 5-aminotetrazoles, namely 5-amino-2-tert-butyltetrazole (1), have been synthesized by the reaction of metal(II) chlorides with 1 and characterized by IR spectroscopy, thermal and X-ray analyses. The crystallographic structural analysis of these complexes revealed that 1 acts as a monodentate ligand coordinated to the metal via endocyclic N4 atom. Platinum complex demonstrates promising cytotoxicity against human cervical carcinoma cells with IC50 value average between those of cisplatin and carboplatin.  相似文献

In the search for antitumor active metal complexes several ruthenium complexes have been reported to be promising. A series of mononuclear Ru(II) complexes, [Ru(T)2(S)]2+, where T?=?2,2′-bipyridine/1,10-phenanthroline and S?=?CH3-bitsz, Cl-bitsz, Br-bitsz, tmtsz, dmtsz, have been prepared and characterized by UV-Vis, IR, 1H-NMR, FAB-mass spectroscopy, and elemental analysis. The complexes were subjected to in vivo anticancer activity against a transplantable murine tumor cell line Ehrlich's ascitic carcinoma (EAC) and in vitro cytotoxic activity against human cancer cell line Molt 4/C8, CEM, and murine tumor cell line L1210. Ruthenium complexes showed promising biological activity especially in decreasing tumor volume and viable ascitic cell counts. Treatment with these complexes prolonged the life span of EAC-tumor-bearing mice by 10–48%. In vitro evaluation of these ruthenium complexes revealed cytotoxic activity from 0.21 to 24?µmol?L?1 against Molt 4/C8, 0.16–19?µmol?L?1 against CEM, and 0.75–32?µmol?L?1 against L1210 cell proliferation, depending on the nature of the compound.  相似文献

Two mononuclear copper(II) complexes with pyrazole derivatives, 1,1′-(anthracen-9-ylmethylene)bis(1H-pyrazole) (L1 ) and 9-(4-(di(1H-pyrazol-1-yl)methyl)phenyl)-9H-carbazole (L2 ), of formulae [CuL1(CH3CN)2](ClO4)2 (1) and [CuL2(CH3CN)2](ClO4)2 (2) were prepared. Both complexes were confirmed by IR, MS, 1H NMR, and elemental analyses. Complex 1 was also characterized by X-ray crystallography, confirming that copper(II) is coordinated by four nitrogen atoms from two L1 and two oxygen atoms from two perchlorates. Furthermore, all ligands and complexes were tested in vitro for their antitumor activities using mouse melanoma cell line B16-F10, HepG2 human hepatoma cell line, and A549 human lung adenocarcinoma cell line. Both complexes displayed potent cytotoxicity and are promising substrates for further investigations.  相似文献

New palladium(II) and platinum(II) complexes containing bis(2-pyridylmethyl)amine (bpma) and saccharinate (sac), [Pd(bpma)(sac)](sac)·2H2O (1), [Pt(bpma)(sac)](sac)·2H2O (2), [Pd(bpma)Cl](sac)·2H2O (3) and [Pt(bpma)(sac)]Cl·1.5H2O (4), were synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis, IR, NMR and TG-DTA. A single-crystal X-ray analysis of 3 and 4 proved a distorted square-planar geometry around the metal ions with one tridentate bpma ligand and one Cl or sac monoanion. The [Pd(bpma)Cl]+ ions in 3 form dimers by intermolecular N-H?Cl and Pd?Pd interactions. The cations reside in the centers of a hydrogen-bonded honeycomb network formed by the uncoordinated sac ions and the lattice water molecules, while the cations of 4 are connected by N-H?Cl and OW-H?O hydrogen bonds into one-dimensional chains. Cyclic planar tetrameric and trimeric water clusters were observed in 3 and 4, respectively. Cytotoxicity of 1-4 was tested against A549, C6 and CHO cells. Although 2 and 4 have no cytotoxicity, the best results were achieved for 1 and 3. In particular, the cyctotoxic activity of 3 is comparable to cisplatin.  相似文献

A new Pd(II) complex of fluorine-containing Schiff base ligand, [Pd2(L)2Cl2] (1) [L?=?N-(4-fluorobenzylidene)-2,6-diethylbenzenamine], has been synthesized using solvothermal method and characterized by elemental analysis, IR-spectroscopy, thermogravimetric analysis, powder X-ray diffraction, UV–vis absorption spectra, and single-crystal X-ray diffraction. Complex 1 is a μ-chloro-bridged dinuclear cyclometallated Pd(II) complex. Thermal analysis indicates that 1 is quite stable to heat. 1 exhibits quadruple emissions in the solid state (λ max?=?766?nm) and possesses fluorescence lifetimes (τ 1?=?87.20?ns, τ 2?=?190.45?ns, and τ 3?=?1805.10?ns at 616?nm); broad structureless bands at 690–800?nm are tentatively assigned to an excimeric 3IL transition. The Schiff base (L) and its palladium(II) compound (1) have been screened for their antibacterial activity against several bacteria, and the results are compared with the activity of penicillin. Moreover, 1 has been shown to be highly effective in the Heck reaction of 4-bromotoluene with acrylic acid.  相似文献

Reaction of 3-methoxycarbonyl-2-methyl- or 3-dimethoxyphosphoryl-2-methyl-substituted 4-oxo-4H-chromones 1 with N-methylhydrazine resulted in the formation of isomeric, highly substituted pyrazoles 4 (major products) and 5 (minor products). Intramolecular transesterification of 4 and 5 under basic conditions led, respectively, to tricyclic derivatives 7 and 8. The structures of pyrazoles 4a (dimethyl 2-methyl-4-oxo-4H-chromen-3-yl-phosphonate) and 4b (methyl 4-oxo-2-methyl-4H-chromene-3-carboxylate) were confirmed by X-ray crystallography. Pyrazoles 4a and 4b were used as ligands (L) in the formation of ML2Cl2 complexes with platinum(II) or palladium(II) metal ions (M). Potassium tetrachloroplatinate(II), used as the metal ion reagent, gave both trans-[Pt(4a)2Cl2] and cis-[Pt(4a)2Cl2], complexes with ligand 4a, and only cis-[Pt(4b)2Cl2] isomer with ligand 4b. Palladium complexes were obtained by the reaction of bis(benzonitrile)dichloropalladium(II) with the test ligands. trans-[Pd(4a)2Cl2] and trans-[Pd(4b)2Cl2] were the exclusive products of these reactions. The structures of all the complexes were confirmed by IR, 1H NMR and FAB MS spectral analysis, elemental analysis and Kurnakov tests.  相似文献

Bis(imino)pyridine palladium(II) complexes 3-6 were synthesized by two different methods. The structure of complexes 3 and 4 has been confirmed by X-ray structure analysis. The catalytic studies show that bis(imino)pyridine palladium(II) complexes are highly efficient catalysts in the Suzuki-Miyaura reaction and the complex 4 was used to catalyze the synthesis of fluorinated liquid crystalline compounds via Suzuki coupling reaction.  相似文献

Three Ru complexes coordinated by oxfloxacin, [Ru(L)2(OFX)]Cl·2H2O (L = bpy, 1; dmbpy, 2; phen, 3; and OFX = ofloxacin), were synthesized and characterized. These complexes can inhibit the growth of cervical cancer HeLa cells efficiently. Furthermore, these three complexes exhibited excellent binding affinities with DNA, as confirmed by spectroscopy methods and viscosity experiments. Therefore, the synthesized Ru(II) complexes have excellent DNA-binding abilities with potential applications in cancer chemotherapy.  相似文献

Five new palladium(II) complexes with 4-toluenesulfonyl-L-amino acid dianion and en, [Pd(en)(TsserNO)] (1), [Pd(en)(TsglyNO)] (2), [Pd(en)(TsalaNO)]?·?1.5H2O (3), [Pd(en)(TsleuNO)]?·?H2O (4), and [Pd(en)(TspheNO)]?·?2H2O (5), have been synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis, IR, UV, 1H NMR, and mass spectrometry. Crystal structure of 1 has been determined by X-ray diffraction analysis. The cytotoxicity was tested by MTT and SRB assays. The results indicate 15 exert cytotoxic effects against HL-60, Bel-7402, BGC-823, and KB cell lines and 5 displays the best cytotoxicity. The structure–activity relationships suggest that both amino acid and N-containing ligands have important effects on cytotoxicity.  相似文献

In this study, the syntheses of two new Mo(VI) and Ni(II) complexes with H2L tridentate (ONO) Schiff-base ligand have been described and fully characterized by means of elemental analysis, FT–IR, electronic, 1H-NMR spectroscopy and single-crystal X-ray diffraction. In both complexes, the Schiff-base completely deprotonates and coordinates to the metal ion as a dianionic tridentate ligand via the donor oxygens and nitrogen atoms. The coordination numbers of Mo(VI) and Ni(II) are six and four, respectively. The DFT-B3LYP/6–31 + G (d,p) and PBEPBE/6–31 + G (d,p) calculations are carried out for the determination of the optimized structures. Frequency calculations and NBO analysis are also performed for characterization. According to the theoretical analysis of the complexes, ligand-to-metal donation is greater than back donation. NBO data revealed that the main contribution of the frontier orbitals belongs to L−2.  相似文献

The present paper includes synthesis and spectral characterization of the novel prepared palladium(II) and zinc(II) complexes with 2-formyl pyridine N(4)-1-(2-pyridyl)-piperazinyl thiosemicarbazone, HFo4Npypipe, 1 and the 2-acetyl pyridine N(4)-1-(2-pyridyl)-piperazinyl thiosemicarbazone, HAc4Npypipe, 2. The Pd(II) complexes [PdCl(Fo4Npypipe)], 3, [PdCl(Ac4Npypipe)], 4 and the Zn(II) complexes [ZnCl2(Fo4Npypipe)], 5 and [ZnCl2(Ac4Npypipe)], 6 have been characterized by elemental analyses and spectroscopic studies. The crystal structure of the complexes [PdCl(Fo4Npippy)], 3 and [PdCl(Ac4Npippy)], 4, have been solved by single-crystal X-ray diffraction. The electronic, IR, UV/Vis, and NMR spectroscopic data of the complexes are reported. The results of the cytotoxic activity of 16 have been evaluated in vitro against the cells of three human cancer cell lines: MCF-7, T24, A-549 and a mouse L-929 (a fibroblast-like cell line cloned from strain L). For selected compounds 2 and 6 the acute toxicity and antitumor activity were evaluated on leukemia P388-bearing mice. The Zn(II) compounds 5 and 6 are considered as agents with potential antitumor activity, and can therefore be candidates for further stages of screening in vitro and/or in vivo.  相似文献

Three new Ru(II) complexes, [Ru(dmb)2(ipad)](ClO4)2 (dmb = 4,4′-dimethyl-2,2′-bipyridine, ipad = 2-(anthracene-9,10-dione-2-yl) imidazo[4,5-f][1,10]phenanthroline, 1), [Ru(dmp)2(ipad)](ClO4)2 (dmp = 2,9-dimethyl-1,10-phenanthroline, 2), and [Ru(dip)2(ipad)](ClO4)2 (dip = 4,7-diphenyl-1,10-phenanthroline, 3), have been synthesized and characterized. The three Ru(II) complexes intercalate with the base pairs of DNA. The in vitro antiproliferative activities and apoptosis-inducing characteristics of these complexes were investigated. The complexes exhibited cytotoxicity against various human cancer cell lines. BEL-7402 cells displayed the highest sensitivity to 1, accounted for by the greatest cellular uptake. Complex 1 was shown to accumulate preferentially in the nuclei of BEL-7402 cells and cause DNA damage and induce apoptosis, which involved cell cycle arrest and reactive oxygen species generation.  相似文献

Six novel diorganotin(IV) complexes have been synthesized in good yields by the reaction of R2SnCl2 (R= methyl, phenyl) with the Schiff base derived from salicylaldehyde and substituted thiosemicarbazide. The complexes were characterized by elemental analysis, IR, 1H NMR and MS spectra. The structure of 2f was confirmed by single crystal X‐ray diffraction. The crystal of 2f is triclinic, space group P‐1 with a = 0.84996(12), b = 1.1204(2), c = 1.27597(12) nm, β = 81.908(9)°, V=1.0904(2) nm3, Z = 2, Dc= 1.551 g/cm3. The final discrepancy factors are R = 0.0211 and Rw = 0.0536 for 3710 independent reflections. Tests of antitumor activities in vitro showed that the obtained complexes had relative inhibition interaction to the KB, HCT‐8 and BEL‐7402 tumor cell lines.  相似文献

Abstract

Dinuclear ruthenium complexes [Ru2(bpy)4BL](ClO4)2 (Ru-1), where bpy = 2,2′-bipyridine and BL = 2,2′-((1E,1′E)-((E)-diazene-1,2-diyl-bis(2,1-phenylene))-bis(azanylylidene))bis(methanylylidene))diphenol (a bidentate bridging ligand), and mononuclear ruthenium complexes [Ru(bpy)2L](ClO4) (Ru-2), where L = (E)-2-((phenylimino)methyl)phenol, were synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis and electrospray ionization mass spectrometry. Their photophysical and electrochemical properties were also studied. The cytotoxicity of the two complexes in vitro was evaluated using the 3-(4,5-dimethylthiazol-2-yl)-2,5-diphenyltetrazolium bromide assay. The results indicated that Ru-1 and Ru-2 exhibited significant dose-dependent cytotoxicity to human breast cancer (MCF-7), gastric cancer (SGC-7901), cervical cancer (Hela), and lung cancer (A549) tumor cell lines. Ru-1 showed excellent antitumor effects in a cellular study (IC50 values of 3.61 μM for MCF-7 human breast cancer cells in vitro). However, Ru-2 exhibited the highest cytotoxicity to Hela cells; the IC50 value is 3.71 μM. The results reveal that Ru-1 and Ru-2 have obvious selectivity and might be a potential anticancer agent that could improve the efficacy of common anticancer therapies.  相似文献

Newly synthesized mononuclear copper(II) and zinc(II) complexes containing an azo Schiff base ligand (L), prepared by condensation of 2-hydroxy-5-(o-tolyldiazenyl)benzaldehyde and propylamine, were obtained and then characterized using infrared and NMR spectroscopies, mass spectrometry and X-ray diffraction. Ligand L behaves as a bidentate chelate by coordinating through deprotonated phenolic oxygen and azomethine nitrogen. The copper and zinc complexes crystallize in triclinic and orthorhombic systems, respectively, with space groups P1 and Pca21. In these complexes, the Cu(II) ion is in a square planar geometry while the Zn(II) ion is in a distorted tetrahedral environment. The photochemical behaviors of ligand L, [Cu(L)2] and [Zn(L)2] were investigated. The azo group in L underwent reversible transcis isomerization under UV and visible irradiation. This process was inhibited for the complexes. In addition, ligand L and its copper and zinc complexes were assessed for their in vitro antibacterial activities against four pathogenic strains.  相似文献
