We analyze the rather unusual properties of some exact solutions in 2D dilaton gravity for which infinite quantum stresses on the Killing horizon can be compatible with regularity of the geometry. In particular, the Boulware state can support a regular horizon. We show that such solutions are contained in some well-known exactly solvable models (for example, RST). Formally, they appear to account for an additional coefficient B in the solutions (for the same Lagrangian which contains also traditional solutions) that gives rise to the deviation of temperature T from its Hawking value T H . The Lorentzian geometry, which is a self-consistent solution of the semiclassical field equations, in such models, is smooth even at B0 and there is no need to put B=0 (T=T H ) to smooth it out. We show how the presence of B0 affects the structure of spacetime. In contrast to usual black holes, full fledged thermodynamic interpretation, including definite value of entropy, can be ascribed (for a rather wide class of models) to extremal horizons, not to nonextreme ones. We find also new exact solutions for usual black holes (with T=T H ). The properties under discussion arise in the weak-coupling regime of the effective constant of dilaton-gravity interaction. Extension of features, traced in 2D models, to 4D dilaton gravity leads, for some special models, to exceptional nonextreme black holes having no own thermal properties.  相似文献

In this paper, we study the geometrothermodynamics of (2+1)-dimensional spinning dilaton black hole. We show that the Ruppeiner curvature vanishes, which implies that there exist no phase transitions and thermodynamic interactions. However when the thermodynamics fluctuation is included, the geometry structure is reconsidered. The non-vanishing Ruppeiner curvature is obtained, which means the phase space is non-flat. We also study the phasetransitions and show that it can indeed take place at some points.  相似文献

We have studied the scalar perturbation of static charged dilaton black holes in 2 + 1 dimensions. The black hole considered here is a solution to the low-energy string theory in 2 + 1 dimensions. It is asymptotic to the anti-de Sitter space. The exact values of quasinormal modes for the scalar perturbations are calculated. For both the charged and uncharged cases, the quasinormal frequencies are pure-imaginary leading to purely damped modes for the perturbations.  相似文献

We investigate thermodynamics of the (2+1)-dimensional AdS black hole in grand canonical ensemble. In the York's formalism, the black hole is enclosed in a “box” with a finite radius and the boundary temperature, radius and potential are fixed in the grand canonical ensemble. We investigate the thermodynamical properties such as action, entropy, temperature, etc. We only find the stable solution for (2+1)-dimensional AdS black hole and do not find the instanton with the negative heat capacity.  相似文献

We study topology change in (2+1)D gravity coupling with non-Abelian SO(2, 1) Higgs field from the point of view of Morse theory. It is shown that the Higgs potential can be identified as a Morse function. The critical points of the latter (i.e. loci of change of the spacetime topology) coincide with zeros of the Higgs field. In these critical points the two-dimensional metric becomes degenerate, but the curvature remains bounded.  相似文献

In this paper, massive particles' Hawking radiation via tunneling from cosmological horizon of a (3+1)-dimensional de Sitter spacetime is investigated. According to Parikh's theory, when a particle tunnels across the cosmological horizon, the effective geometry is Schwarzschild-de Sitter spacetime. In this effective spacetime, a massive particle can be treated as a de Broglie S-wave. WKB method is used. The emission spectrum is obtained, and it takes the same functional form as that of massless particles.  相似文献

We present some novel rotating hairy black hole metric in (2 + 1) dimensions, which is an exact solution to the field equations of the Einstein-scalar-AdS theory with a non-minimal coupling. The scalar potential is determined by the metric ansatz and consistency of the field equations and cannot be prescribed arbitrarily. In the simplified, critical ease, the scalar potential contains two independent constant parameters, which are respectively related to the mass and angular momentum of the black hole in a particular way. As long as the angular momentum does not vanish, the metric can have zero, one or two horizons. The case with no horizon is physically uninteresting because of the curvature singularity lying at the origin. We identify the necessary conditions for at least one horizon to be present in the solution, which imposes some bound on the mass-angular momentum ratio. For some particular choice of pararneters our solution degenerates into some previously known black hole solutions.  相似文献

Motivated by the well-known charged BTZ black holes, we look for (2 + 1)-dimensional solutions of F(R) gravity. At first we investigate some near horizon solutions and after that we obtain asymptotically Lifshitz black hole solutions. A class of lump solutions of(2+1)-dimensional Boussinesq equation are obtained with the help of Maple by using Hirota bilinear method.Some contour plots with different determinant values are sequentially made to show that the corresponding lump solution tends to zero when the determinant approaches zero.The particular lump solutions with specific values of the involved parameters are plotted,as illustrative examples.  相似文献

The quasinormal modes of the Schwarzschild black hole surrounded by the quintessence in Rastall gravity are studied using the sixth-order Wentzel-Kramers-Brillouin approximative approach. The effect of the Rastall parameter on the quasinormal modes of gravitational, electromagnetic and massless scalar perturbations is explored. Compared to the case of Einstein gravity, it is found that, when η < 0, the gravitational field, electromagnetic field as well as massless scalar field damp more rapidly and have larger real frequency of oscillation in Rastall gravity, while when η > 0, the gravitational field, electromagnetic field as well as massless scalar field damp more slowly and have smaller real frequency of oscillation in Rastall gravity. It is also found that the gravitational field, electromagnetic field as well as massless scalar field damp more and more slowly and the real frequency of oscillation for the gravitational perturbation, electromagnetic perturbation as well as massless scalar perturbation becomes smaller and smaller as the Rastall parameter η increases. Compared among the quasinormal frequencies of gravitational, electromagnetic and massless scalar perturbations, I find that, for fixed η, (l, n), ∈ and Nq, the oscillation damps most slowly for the gravitational perturbation, mediate for the electromagnetic perturbation and most rapidly for the massless scalar perturbation, and the real frequency of oscillation is the smallest for the gravitational perturbation, mediate for the electromagnetic perturbation and the largest for the massless scalar perturbation in Rastall gravity.  相似文献

The multiple exp-function method is a new approach to obtain multiple wave solutions of nonlinear partial differential equations (NLPDEs). By this method one can obtain multi-soliton solutions of NLPDEs. In this paper, using computer algebra systems, we apply the multiple exp-function method to construct the exact multiple wave solutions of a (2+1)-dimensional Boiti-Leon-Manna-Pempinelli equation. Also, we extend the equation to a (3+1)-dimensional case and obtain some exact solutions for the new equation by applying the multiple exp-function method. By these applications, we obtain single-wave, double-wave and multi-wave solutions for these equations.  相似文献

In this paper, using the generalized G'/G-expansion method and the auxiliary differential equation method, we discuss the (2+1)-dimensional canonical generalized KP (CGKP), KdV, and (2+1)-dimensional Burgers equations with variable coefficients. Many exact solutions of the equations are obtained in terms of elliptic functions, hyperbolic functions, trigonometric functions, and rational functions.  相似文献

The (3+1)-dimensional Jimbo-Miwa (JM) equation is solved approximately by using the conformal invariant asymptotic expansion approach presented by Ruan. By solving the new (3+1)-dimensional integrable models, which are conformal invariant and possess Painlevé property, the approximate solutions are obtained for the JM equation, containing not only one-soliton solutions but also periodic solutions and multi-soliton solutions. Some approximate solutions happen to be exact and some approximate solutions can become exact by choosing relations between the parameters properly.  相似文献

In this paper, we construct rotating charged hairy black hole in(2+1) dimensions for infinitesimal black hole charge and rotation parameters. Then we consider this black hole as particle accelerator and calculate the centerof-mass energy of two colliding test particles near the rotating charged hairy black hole in(2+1) dimensions. The Lax–Kadomtsev–Petviashvili equation is derived from the Lax fifth order equation, which is an important mathematical model in fluid physics and quantum field theory.
