Exact solutions to the shallow wave equation are studied based on the idea of the extended homoclinic test and bilinear method. Some explicit solutions, such as the one soliton solution, the doubly-periodic wave solution and the periodic solitary wave solutions, are obtained. In addition, the properties of the solutions are investigated.  相似文献

Two new exact, rational and periodic wave solutions are derived for the two-dimensional Boussinesq equation. For the first solution it is obtained by performing an appropriate limiting procedure on the soliton solutions obtained by Hirota bilinear method. The second one in terms of Riemann theta function is explicitly presented by virtue of Hirota bilinear method and its asymptotic property is also analyzed in detail. Moreover, it is of interest to note that classical soliton solutions can be reduced from the periodic wave solutions.  相似文献

The D’Alembert solution of the wave motion equation is an important basic formula in linear partial differential theory.The study of the D’Alembert wave is worthy of deep consideration in nonlinear partial differential systems.In this paper,we construct a(2+1)-dimensional extended Boiti-Leon-Manna-Pempinelli(eBLMP)equation which fails to pass the Painleve property.The D’Alembert-type wave of the eBLMP equation is still obtained by introducing one arbitrary function of the traveling-wave variable.The multi-solitary wave which should satisfy the velocity resonance condition is obtained by solving the Hirota bilinear form of the eBLMP equation.The dynamics of the three-soliton molecule,the three-kink soliton molecule,the soliton molecule bound by an asymmetry soliton and a one-soliton,and the interaction between the half periodic wave and a kink soliton molecule from the eBLMP equation are investigated by selecting appropriate parameters.  相似文献

A general solution including three arbitrary functions is obtained for the (2+1)-dimensional higher-order Broer-Kaup equation by means of WTC truncation method. Introducing proper multiple valued functions and Jacobi elliptic functions in the seed solution, special types of periodic folded waves are derived. In long wave limit these periodic folded wave patterns may degenerate into single localized folded solitary wave excitations. The interactions of the periodic folded waves and their degenerated single folded solitary waves are investigated graphically and are found to be completely elastic.  相似文献

In this paper, multi-periodic (quasi-periodic) wave solutions are constructed for the Boiti-Leon-Manna- Pempinelli (BLMP) equation by using Hirota bilinear method and Riemann theta function. We give some details about the periodic cylindrical solution found by Zhang and Ou-Yang in [1996 Phys.Rev.E 53 4206] for the general shape equation of vesicle.Three different kinds of periodic cylindrical surfaces and a special closed cylindrical surface are obtained.Using the elliptic functions contained in mathematic,we find that this periodic shape has the minimal total energy for one period when the period-amplitude ratio β 1.477,and point out that it is a discontinuous deformation between plane and this periodic shape.Our results also are suitable for DNA and multi-walled carbon nanotubes(MWNTs).  相似文献

In this paper, dependent and independent variable transformations are introduced to solve the negative mKdV equation systematically by using the knowledge of elliptic equation and Jacobian elliptic functions. For describing various complex nonlinear phenomena in the realistic world, the higher-dimensional nonlinear evolution equations appear more attractive in many fields of physical and engineering sciences. In this paper, by virtue of the Hirota bilinear method and Riemann theta functions, the periodic wave solutions for the (2+1)-dimensional Boussinesq equation and (3+1)-dimensional Kadomtsev Petviashvili (KP) equation are obtained. Furthermore, it is shown that the known soliton solutions for the two equations can be reduced from the periodic wave solutions.  相似文献

The extended homoclinic test function method is a kind of classic, efficient and well-developed method to solve nonlinear evolution equations. In this paper, with the help of this approach, we obtain new exact solutions (including kinky periodic solitary-wave solutions, periodic soliton solutions, and cross kink-wave solutions) for the new (2+1)-dimensional KdV equation. These results enrich the variety of the dynamics of higher-dimensionai nonlinear wave field.  相似文献

Under investigation in this paper is a generalized (3+1)-dimensional Kadomtsev–Petviashvili equation in fluid dynamics and plasma physics. Soliton and one-periodic-wave solutions are obtained via the Hirota bilinear method and Hirota–Riemann method. Magnitude and velocity of the one soliton are derived. Graphs are presented to discuss the solitons and one-periodic waves: the coefficients in the equation can determine the velocity components of the one soliton, but cannot alter the soliton magnitude; the interaction between the two solitons is elastic; the coefficients in the equation can influence the periods and velocities of the periodic waves. Relation between the one-soliton solution and one-periodic wave solution is investigated.  相似文献

In the present letter, we get the appropriate bilinear forms of(2+1)-dimensional KdV equation, extended (2+1)-dimensional shallow water wave equation and (2+1)-dimensional Sawada-Kotera equation in a quick and natural manner, namely by appling the binary Bell polynomials. Then the Hirota direct method and Riemann theta function are combined to construct the periodic wave solutions of the three types nonlinear evolution equations. And the corresponding figures of the periodic wave solutions are given. Furthermore, the asymptotic properties of the periodic wave solutions indicate that the soliton solutions can be derived from the periodic wave solutions.  相似文献

We construct the Hirota bilinear form of the nonlocal Boussinesq(nlBq) equation with four arbitrary constants for the first time. It is special because one arbitrary constant appears with a bilinear operator together in a product form. A straightforward method is presented to construct quasiperiodic wave solutions of the nl Bq equation in terms of Riemann theta functions. Due to the specific dispersion relation of the nl Bq equation, relations among the characteristic parameters are nonlinear, then the linear method does not work for them. We adopt the perturbation method to solve the nonlinear relations among parameters in the form of series. In fact, the coefficients of the governing equations are also in series form.The quasiperiodic wave solutions and soliton solutions are given. The relations between the periodic wave solutions and the soliton solutions have also been established and the asymptotic behaviors of the quasiperiodic waves are analyzed by a limiting procedure.  相似文献

This study investigates the (3+1)-dimensional soliton equation via the Hirota bilinear approach and symbolic computations. We successfully construct some new lump, lump-kink, breather wave, lump periodic, and some other new interaction solutions. All the reported solutions are verified by inserting them into the original equation with the help of the Wolfram Mathematica package. The solution's visual characteristics are graphically represented in order to shed more light on the results obtained. The findings obtained are useful in understanding the basic nonlinear fluid dynamic scenarios as well as the dynamics of computational physics and engineering sciences in the related nonlinear higher dimensional wave fields.  相似文献
