Gauge theory of gravity is formulated based on principle of local gauge invariance. Because the model hasstrict local gravitational gauge symmetry, and gauge theory of gravity is a perturbatively renormalizable quantum model. However, in the original model, all gauge gravitons are massless. We want to ask whether there exist massive gravitonsin Nature. In this paper, we will propose a gauge model with massive gravitons. The mass term of gravitational gaugefield is introduced into the theory without violating the strict local gravitational gauge symmetry. Massive gravitons canbe considered to be possible origin of dark energy and dark matter in the Universe.  相似文献

In this paper, a general theory on unification of non-Abelian SU(N) gauge interactions and gravitationalinteractions is discussed. SU(N) gauge interactions and gravitational interactions are formulated on the similar basisand are unified in a semi-direct product group GSU(N). Based on this model, we can discuss unification of fundamentalinteractions of Nature.  相似文献

It is well known that dynamical systems may be employed as computing machines. However, not all dynamical systems offer particular advantages compared to the standard paradigm of computation, in regard to efficiency and scalability. Recently, it was suggested that a new type of machines, named digital –hence scalable– memcomputing machines (DMMs), that employ non‐linear dynamical systems with memory, can solve complex Boolean problems efficiently. This result was derived using functional analysis without, however, providing a clear understanding of which physical features make DMMs such an efficient computational tool. Here, we show, using recently proposed topological field theory of dynamical systems, that the solution search by DMMs is a composite instanton. This process effectively breaks the topological supersymmetry common to all dynamical systems, including DMMs. The emergent long‐range order – a collective dynamical behavior– allows logic gates of the machines to correlate arbitrarily far away from each other, despite their non‐quantum character. We exemplify these results with the solution of prime factorization, but the conclusions generalize to DMMs applied to any other Boolean problem.  相似文献

The standard evaluation of the partition function Z of Schwarz's topological field theory results in the Ray–Singer analytic torsion. Here we present an alternative evaluation which results in Z=1. Mathematically, this amounts to a novel perspective on analytic torsion: it can be formally written as a ratio of volumes of spaces of differential forms which is formally equal to 1 by Hodge duality. An analogous result for Reidemeister combinatorial torsion is also obtained.  相似文献

The lightest electroweak baryon as a topological object is investigated by using a general effective Lagrangian of composite electroweak symmetry breaking and the spin-independent electroweak baryon-nucleon scattering cross section is calculated. We explicitly show the masses of the electroweak baryons and the cross section as functions of the Peskin-Takeuchi S parameter and the ratio of the masses of axial-vector and vector composite bosons. We find that it is acceptable to regard the electroweak baryon as a dark matter candidate and the even number of technicolor is favored.  相似文献

Based on unified theory of electromagnetic interactions and gravitational interactions, the non-relativistic limit of the equation of motion of a charged Dirac particle in gravitational field is studied. From the Schrodinger equation obtained from this non-relativistic limit, we can see that the classical Newtonian gravitational potential appears as a part of the potential in the Schrodinger equation, which can explain the gravitational phase effects found in COW experiments. And because of this Newtonian gravitational potential, a quantum particle in the earth's gravitational field may form a gravitationally bound quantized state, which has already been detected in experiments. Three different kinds of phase effects related to gravitational interactions are studied in this paper, and these phase effects should be observable in some astrophysical processes. Besides, there exists direct coupling between gravitomagnetic field and quantum spin, and radiation caused by this coupling can be used to directly determine the gravitomagnetic field on the surface of a star.  相似文献

A new mechanism to introduce the mass of U(1) gauge field in supcrsymmctric U(1) gauge theory is discussed. The modelhas the strict local U(1) gauge symmetry and supersymmetry.Because we introduce two vector superfields simultaneously, the model contains a massive U(1) gauge field as well as a massless U(1) gauge field.  相似文献

Quantum gauge theory of gravity is formulated based on gauge principle. Because the Lagrangian hasstrict local gravitational gauge symmetry, gravitational gauge theory is a perturbatively renormalizable quantum theory.Gravitational gauge interactions of scalar field are studied in this paper. In quantum gauge theory of gravity, scalar fieldminimal couples to gravitational field through gravitational gauge covariant derivative. Comparing the Lagrangian forscalar field in quantum gauge theory of gravity with the corresponding Lagrangian in quantum fields in curved space-time, the definition for metric in curved space-time in geometry picture of gravity can be obtained, which is expressedby gravitational gauge field. In classical level, the Lagrangian and Hamiltonian approaches are also discussed.  相似文献

Gravitational interactions of Dirac field are studied in this paper. Based on gauge principle, quantum gauge theory of gravity, which is perturbatively renormalizable, is formulated in the Minkowski space-time. In quantum gauge theory of gravity, gravity is treated as a kind of fundamental interactions, which is transmitted by gravitational gauge field, and Dirac field couples to gravitational field through gravitational gauge covariant derivative. Based on this theory, we can easily explain gravitational phase effect, which has already been detected by COW experiment.  相似文献

The quantum gravity is formulated based on the principle of local gauge invariance. The model discussedin this paper has local gravitational gauge symmetry, and gravitational field is represented by gauge field. In the leading-order approximation, it gives out classical Newton‘s theory of gravity. In the first-order approximation and for vacuum,it gives out Einstein‘s general theory of relativity. This quantum gauge theory of gravity is a renormalizable quantumtheory.  相似文献

Differential geometric formulation of quantum gauge theory of gravity is studied in this paper. The quantumgauge theory of gravity is formulated completely in the framework of traditional quantum field theory. In order to studythe relationship between quantum gauge theory of gravity and traditional quantum gravity which is formulated in curvedspace, it is important to set up the geometry picture of quantum gauge theory of gravity. The correspondence betweenquantum gauge theory of gravity and differential geometry is discussed and the geometry picture of quantum gaugetheory of gravity is studied.  相似文献

Based on local gauge invariance, four different kinds of fundamental interactions in nature are unified in a theory which has SU(3)C( )SU SU(2)L( )U(1)( )s Gravitational Gauge Group gauge symmetry. In this approach, gravitational field, like electromagnetic field, intermediate gauge field, and gluon field, is represented by gauge potential.Four kinds of fundamental interactions are formulated in the similar manner, and therefore can be unified in a direct or semi-direct product group. The model discussed in this paper is a renormalizable quantum model and can be regarded as an extension of the standard model to gravitational interactions, so it can be used to study quantum effects of gravitational interactions.  相似文献

A relativistic quantum field theory is presented for finite density problems based on the principle of locality. It is shown that,in addition to the conventional ones,a local approach to the relativistic quantum field theories at both zero and finite densities consistent with the violation of Bell-like inequalities should contain and provide solutions to at least three additional problems, namely,i) the statistical gauge invariance;ii) the dark components of the local observables;and iii)the fermion statistical blocking effects, based upon an asymptotic nonthermal ensemble,An application to models is presented to show the importance of the discussions.  相似文献

Using covariant phase space formulations for the natural topological invariants associated with the world-surface in closed string theory, we find that certain Wilson loops defined on the world-surface and that preserve topological invariance, correspond to wave functionals for the vacuum state with zero energy. The differences and similarities with the 2-dimensional QED proposed by Schwinger early are discussed. PACS Numbers : 81T30, 81T45  相似文献

In this paper, we investigate the new agegraphic dark energy model in the framework of Brans-Dicke theory, which is a natural extension of the Einstein's general relativity. In this framework the form of the new agegraphic dark energy density takes as pq = 3n^2Ф(t)η^-2, where η is the conformal age of the universe and Ф(t) is the Brans-Dicke scalar field representing the inverse of the time-variable Newton's constant. We derive the equation of state of the new agegraphic dark energy and the deceleration parameter of the universe in the Brans-Dicke theory. It is very interesting to find that in the Brans-Dicke theory the agegraphic dark energy realizes quintom-like behavior, i.e., its equation of state crosses the phantom divide ω= -1 during the evolution. We also compare the situation of the agegraphic dark energy model in the Brans-Dicke theory with that in the Einstein's theory. In addition, we discuss the new agegraphic dark energy model with interaction in the framework of the Brans-Dicke theory.  相似文献

Based on the decomposition theory of the U(1) gauge potential, the inner structure of the statistical gauge potential in the Chern-Simons-Ginzburg-Landau (CSGL) theory is studied. We give a new creation mechanism of the statistical gauge potential. Furthermore, making use of the φ-mapping topological current theory, we obtain the precise topological expression of the statistical magnetic field, which takes the topological information of the vortices.  相似文献

The effective dynamics of quarks is described by a nonperturbatively regularized NJL model equation with canonical quantization and probability interpretation. The quantum theory of this model is formulated in functional space and the gluons are considered as relativistic bound states of colored quark-antiquark pairs. Their wave functions are calculated as eigenstates of hardcore equations, and their effective dynamics is derived by weak mapping in functional space. This leads to the phenomenological SU(3) gauge invariant gluon equations in functional formulation, i.e., the local gauge symmetry is a dynamical effect resulting from the dynamics of the quark model.  相似文献
