Kock has previously defined a tangency quantum product on formal power series with coefficients in the cohomology ring of any smooth projective variety, and thus a ring that generalizes the quantum cohomology ring. This note deals with the following question: How many planes of a linear space (P, $\mathfrak{L}$ ) must be known as projective planes to ensure that (P, $\mathfrak{L}$ ) is a projective space? The following answer is given: If for any subset M of a linear space (P, $\mathfrak{L}$ ) the restriction (M, $\mathfrak{L}$ )(M)) is locally complete, and if for every plane E of (M, $\mathfrak{L}$ (M)) the plane $\bar E$ generated by E is a projective plane, then (P, $\mathfrak{L}$ ) is a projective space (cf. 5.6). Or more generally: If for any subset M of P the restriction (M, $\mathfrak{L}$ (M)) is locally complete, and if for any two distinct coplanar lines G1, G2 ∈ $\mathfrak{L}$ (M) the lines $\bar G_1 ,\bar G_2 \varepsilon \mathfrak{L}$ generated by G1, G2 have a nonempty intersection and $\overline {G_1 \cup {\text{ }}G_2 }$ satisfies the exchange condition, then (P, $\mathfrak{L}$ ) is a generalized projective space.  相似文献

It is well-known that quasi-homogeneity is characterized by equality of the Milnor and Tjurina numbers for isolated complex analytic hypersurface singularities and for certain low-dimensional singularities. In this paper we prove that this characterization extends to isolated purely elliptic complete intersection singularities, with bounds on neither the embedding codimension nor the dimension of the singularity.  相似文献

Let X/ C be a projective algebraic manifold, and further let CH k (X) Q be the Chow group of codimension k algebraic cycles on X, modulo rational equivalence. By considering Q-spreads of cycles on X and the corresponding cycle map into absolute Hodge cohomology, we construct a filtration {F l}l 0 on CH k (X) Q of Bloch-Beilinson type. In the event that a certain conjecture of Jannsen holds (related to the Bloch-Beilinson conjecture on the injectivity, modulo torsion, of the Abel–Jacobi map for smooth proper varieties over Q), this filtration truncates. Let X be a finitistic space having the mod 2 cohomology algebra of the product of two projective spaces. We study free involutions on X and determine the possible mod 2 cohomology algebra of orbit space of any free involution, using the Leray spectral sequence associated to the Borel fibration ${X \hookrightarrow X_{\mathbb{Z}_2} \longrightarrow B_{\mathbb{Z}_2}}$ . We also give an application of our result to show that if X has the mod 2 cohomology algebra of the product of two real projective spaces (respectively, complex projective spaces), then there does not exist any ${\mathbb{Z}_2}$ -equivariant map from ${\mathbb{S}^k \to X}$ for k ≥ 2 (respectively, k ≥ 3), where ${\mathbb{S}^k}$ is equipped with the antipodal involution.  相似文献

Let be a non-degenerate polar space of rank n 3 where all of its lines have at least three points. We prove that, if admits a lax embedding e : in a projective space defined over a skewfield K, then is a classical and defined over a sub-skewfield K0 of K. Accordingly, admits a full embedding e0 in a K0-projective space 0. By the using of determinantal varieties from moduli algebras of hypersurface singularites the relation of the deformation of hypersurface singularities and the deformation of their moduli algebras is studied. For a type of hypersurface singularities a weak Torelli type result is proved. This weak Torelli type result showes that for families of hypersurface singularities the moduli algebras can be used to distinguish the complex structures of singularities at least in some weak sence. We study a problem of the geometric quantization for the quaternionprojective space. First we explain a Kähler structure on the punctured cotangent bundleof the quaternion projective space, whose Kähler form coincides withthe natural symplectic form on the cotangent bundle and show thatthe canonical line bundle of this complex structure is holomorphicallytrivial by explicitly constructing a nowhere vanishing holomorphicglobal section. Then we construct a Hilbert space consisting of acertain class of holomorphic functions on the punctured cotangentbundle by the method ofpairing polarization and incidentally we construct an operatorfrom this Hilbert space to the L 2 space of the quaternionprojective space. Also we construct a similar operator between thesetwo Hilbert spaces through the Hopf fiberation.We prove that these operators quantizethe geodesic flow of the quaternion projective space tothe one parameter group of the unitary Fourier integral operatorsgenerated by the square root of the Laplacian plus suitable constant.Finally we remark that the Hilbert space above has the reproducing kernel.  相似文献

In the papers (Laudal in Contemporary Mathematics, vol. 391, [2005]; Geometry of time-spaces, Report No. 03, [2006/2007]), we introduced the notion of (non-commutative) phase algebras (spaces) Ph n (A), n=0,1,…,∞ associated to any associative algebra A (space), defined over a field k. The purpose of this paper is to study this construction in some more detail. This seems to give us a possible framework for the study of non-commutative partial differential equations. We refer to the paper (Laudal in Phase spaces and deformation theory, Report No. 09, [2006/2007]), for the applications to non-commutative deformation theory, Massey products and for the construction of the versal family of families of modules.
