Mesoporous TiO2/γ-Al2O3 composite granules were prepared by combining sol–gel/oil-drop method, using various titania solution. The product granules can be used as a photocatalyst or adsorbent in moving, fluidized bed reactors. The phase composition and pore structure of the granules can be controlled by calcination temperature and using different titania solution. In the photocatalysis of NH3 decomposition, TiO2/γ-Al2O3 granules using Degussa P25 powder treated thermally at 450 °C showed the highest catalytic ability. However, TiO2/γ-Al2O3 granules using titania made by hydrothermal method had comparable performance in NH3 decomposition.  相似文献

Titania–silica composite have been prepared using polyethylene glycol (PEG) with different molecular weights (M w), PEG20000, PEG10000, and PEG2000, as template in supercritical carbon dioxide (SC CO2). The composite precursors were dissolved in SC CO2 and impregnated into PEG templates using SC CO2 as swelling agent and carrier. After removing the template by calcination at suitable temperature, the titania–silica composite were obtained. The composite were characterized by X-ray diffraction, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, and nitrogen sorption–desorption experiment. Photocatalytic activity of the samples has been investigated by photodegradation of methyl orange. Results indicate that there are many Si–O–Ti linkages in the TiO2/SiO2 composite; the PEG template has a significant influence on the structure of TiO2/SiO2. In addition, the TiO2/SiO2 prepared with PEG10000 exhibited high photocatalytic efficiency. So this work supplies a clue to control and obtain the TiO2/SiO2 composite with different photocatalytic reactivity with the aid of suitable PEG template in supercritical CO2.  相似文献

TiO2 nanofibers were prepared from tetrabutyl titanate sol precursors by using electrospun method. X-ray diffraction (XRD) and atomic force microscope (AFM) were used to characterize their crystal structure and morphology feature. The results demonstrated that TiO2 nanofibers possessed anatase phase and the average diameter of TiO2 nanofibers was about 150 nm. The photocatalytic property of TiO2 nanofibers was evaluated for the photodecomposition of methyl orange solution. And TiO2 nanofibers exhibited high photocatalytic activities with transfer efficiency about 100% after 20 min.  相似文献

Epitaxially grown titanium dioxide (TiO2) nanofibers embedding single crystalline TiO2 nanowires (NWs) were successfully fabricated by electropinning poly(vinyl pyrrolidone)/ethanol solutions mixed with hydrothermally synthesized TiO2 NWs and titanium isopropoxide precursors and subsequently calcinating the electrospun nanofibers. Utilizing scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and transmission electron microscopy (TEM), the morphologies of TiO2 NWs and nanofibers were investigated. High resolution TEM (HR-TEM) and selected area electron diffraction (SAED) allowed us to indentify the fact that, during the calcination process under the optimized condition, titanium isopropoxide precursors were epitaxially crystallized on the surface of single crystalline TiO2 NWs. Based on the X-ray diffraction (XRD) experiments, it was also realized that the crystalline structure of hydrothermally synthesized TiO2 NWs and epitaxially crystallized TiO2 nanofibers is anatase and that TiO2 composite nanofibers embedding TiO2 NWs exhibited a higher crystallinity than the pristine TiO2 nanofibers. Additionally, ultraviolet visible (UV–Vis) spectra of nanofibers indicated that optical properties of TiO2 nanofibers can be tuned by introducing the single crystalline TiO2 NWs.  相似文献

The influence of NH3-treating temperature on the visible light photocatalytic activity of N-doped P25-TiO2 as well as the relationship between the surface composition structure of TiO2 and its visible light photocatalytic activity were investigated. The results showed that N-doped P25-TiO2 treated at 600°C had the highest activity. The structure of P25-TiO2 was converted from anatase to rutile at 700°C. Moreover, no N-doping was detected at the surface of P25-TiO2. There was no simply linear relationship between the visible light photocatalytic activity and the concentration of doped nitrogen, and visible light absorption. The visible light photocatalytic activity of N-doped P25-TiO2 was mainly influenced by the synergistic action of the following factors: (i) the formation of the single-electron-trapped oxygen vacancies (denoted as Vo·); (ii) the doped nitrogen on the surface of TiO2; (iii) the anatase TiO2 structure.  相似文献

TiO2–SiO2 composite nanoparticles were prepared by a sol–gel process. To obtain the assembly of TiO2–SiO2 composite nanoparticles, different molar ratios of Ti/Si were investigated. Polyurethane (PU)/(TiO2–SiO2) hybrid films were synthesized using the “grafting from” technique by incorporation of modified TiO2–SiO2 composite nanoparticles building blocks into PU matrix. Firstly, 3-aminopropyltriethysilane was employed to encapsulate TiO2–SiO2 composite nanoparticles’ surface. Secondly, the PU shell was tethered to the TiO2–SiO2 core surface via surface functionalized reaction. The particle size of TiO2–SiO2 composite sol was performed on dynamic light scattering, and the microstructure was characterized by X-ray diffraction and Fourier transform infrared. Thermogravimetric analysis and transmission electron microscopy (TEM) employed to study the hybrid films. The average particle size of the TiO2–SiO2 composite particles is about 38 nm when the molar ratio of Ti/Si reaches to1:1. The TEM image indicates that TiO2–SiO2 composite nanoparticles are well dispersed in the PU matrix.  相似文献

Within the framework of the density functional theory (DFT), the electronic structure of monooxodioxovanadium functional groups in tetrahedral coordination, which model the active centers (ACs) of fine supported catalysts V2O5/SiO2 and V2O5/TiO2, has been analyzed. The optimal structures of three ACs as possible models of monomeric and polymeric oxovanadium forms on the carriers with low vanadium content were determined. The modified DFT method involving the time dependence of Kohn-Sham equation (TDDFT) was used for the adopted AC models to calculate the energies of the excited states, and optical spectra of the absorption in 25000–60000 cm?1 region were reconstructed on their base. The spectrum in this region is due to O → V charge transfer. The features of electronic spectra with the charge transfer for V2O5/SiO2 and V2O5/TiO2 catalysts and the vibrational spectra of three AC models corresponding to the monomeric and dimeric oxovanadium forms of the supported catalysts V2O5/SiO2 and V2O5/TiO2 were defined. The detailed interpretation of normal vibration frequencies is given. The frequencies typical of the monomeric and dimeric oxovanadium forms on the carrier surface were identified.  相似文献

Olivine-type LiFePO4 is a very promising polyanion-type cathode material for lithium-ion batteries. In this work, LiFePO4 with high specificity capacity is obtained from a novel precursor NH4FePO4·H2O via microwave processing. The grains grow up in the duration of sintering until they reach the decomposition temperature. The apparent conductivity of the samples rises rapidly with the irradiation time and influences the electrochemical performance of the material greatly at high current density. As a result, the LiFePO4 cathode material obtained with a sintering time of 15 min has good electrochemical performance. Between 2.5 and 4.2 V versus Li, a reversible capacity is as high as 156 mAh g−1 at 0.05 C.  相似文献

Highly (111) oriented, phase-pure perovskite Pb(Zr0.3Ti0.7)O3 (or PZT 30/70) thin films were deposited on single-crystal, (0001) wurtzite GaN/sapphire substrates using the sol-gel process and rapid thermal annealing. The phase, crystallinity, and stoichiometry of annealed PZT films were evaluated by X-ray diffraction and Rutherford backscattering spectroscopy. The atomic force microscopy revealed a smooth PZT surface (rms roughness ∼1.5 nm) with striations and undulations possibly influenced by the nature of the underlying GaN surface. The cross-sectional field-emission scanning electron microscopic images indicated a sharper PZT/GaN interface compared to that of sol-gel derived PZT on (111) Pt/TiO2/SiO2/(100) Si substrates. The capacitance-voltage (C-V) characteristics for PZT in the Pt/PZT/GaN (metal-ferroelectric-semiconductor or MFS) configuration were evaluated as a function of annealing temperature and applied voltage. The observed C-V hysteresis stemmed from trapped charge at defect sites within PZT. Also, the lower capacitance density (C/A = 0.35 μF/cm2, where A is the area of an electrode) and remnant polarization (P r ∼ 4 μC/cm2) for PZT in the MFS configuration, compared to the values for PZT in the MFM configuration (Pt/PZT/Pt), were attributed to the high depolarization field within PZT.  相似文献

Novel visible-light-activated In2O3–CaIn2O4 photocatalysts were developed in this paper through a sol–gel method. The photocatalytic activities of In2O3–CaIn2O4 composite photocatalysts were investigated based on the decomposition of methyl orange under visible light irradiation (λ > 400 nm). The obtained samples were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), energy dispersive spectrum (EDS), X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) and UV–vis diffused reflectance spectroscopy (DRS). The results revealed that the In2O3–CaIn2O4 composite samples with different In2O3 and CaIn2O4 content can be obtained by controlling the synthesis temperature, and the composite photocatalysts extended the light absorption spectrum toward the visible region. The photocatalytic tests indicated that the composite samples demonstrated high visible-light activity for decomposition of methyl orange. The significant enhancement in the In2O3–CaIn2O4 photo-activity under visible light irradiation can be ascribed to the efficient separation of photo-generated carriers in the In2O3 and CaIn2O4 coupling semiconductors.  相似文献

TiCl4 and MnSO4· H2O as raw materials are hydrolyzed stiochiometrically, following the intermediate of oxide hydrating reacts at 150°C, 0.5 MPa in high-pressure reactor, after filtering, washing and drying, nanometric TiO2-MnO2 (Ti1-X Mn X O2) is prepared. The effects of the reaction temperature and time on nanometric TiO2-MnO2 are also discussed. XRD shows that the product is TiO2-MnO2 with amorphous phase. After being sintered at above 780 °C, it transfers into Ti1-X Mn X O2 with a rutile structure. TEM shows that TiO2-MnO2 is the spherical particle. And the average diameter of the particles is 20 nm. The optical absorbance was determined by UV-265 spectrophotometer after dispersing the sample in the mixture of water and glycerol with the ratio of 1 : 1 equably. It is found that the nano-material possesses the advantages of both nano-TiO2 and nano-MnO2, and it has strong absorption in the UV and visible region. Photodegradation of dyes in an aqueous solution is investigated using nanometricTiO2-MnO2 as a photocatalyst. The results show that after 60 min illumination, the decolorization rate of the acidic red B and acidic black 234 dye can be as high as 100%.  相似文献

Influences of α-MnO2, β-MnO2, and δ-MnO2 on the photocatalytic activity of Degussa P-25 TiO2 have been investigated through the photocatalytic degradation of methyl orange. The TiO2 photocatalyst, before and after being contaminated by MnO2, was characterized by UV-visible diffuse reflectance spectroscopy (UV-vis DRS), photoluminescence (PL), and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS). The results showed that photocatalytic activity of TiO2 could be inhibited significantly or completely deactivated due to the presence of even a small amount of MnO2 particles. It was found that the poisoning effect varied with the crystal phases of MnO2 and the effect was in the order δ-MnO2 >α-MnO2 >β-MnO2. The poisoning effect was attributed to the formation of heterojunctions between MnO2 and TiO2 particles. The heterojunctions changed the chemical state of Ti4+ and O2− sites in the crystalline phase of TiO2. MnO2 in contact with TiO2 particles also broadens the band-gap of TiO2, which decreases UV absorption of TiO2. It can also create some deep impurity energy levels serving as photoelectron-photohole recombination center, which accelerates the electron-hole recombination. Nanocrystalline Fe-doped TiO2 powders were prepared using TiOSO4, urea, and Fe(NO3)3 · 9H2O as precursors through a hydrothermal method. The as-synthesized yellowish-colored powders are composed of anatase TiO2, identified by X-ray diffraction (XRD). The grain size ranged from 9.7 to 12.1 nm, calculated by Scherrer’s method. The specific surface area ranged from 141 to 170 m2/g, obtained by the Brunauer–Emmett–Teller (BET) method. The transmission electron microscopy (TEM) micrograph of the sample shows that the diameter of the grains is uniformly distributed at about 10 nm, which is consistent with that calculated by Scherrer’s method. Fe3+ and Fe2+ have been detected on the surface of TiO2 powders by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS). The UV–Vis diffuse reflection spectra indicate that the light absorption thresholds of the Fe-doped TiO2 powders have been red-shifted into the visible light region. The photocatalytic activity of the Fe-doped TiO2 was evaluated through the degradation of methylene blue (MB) under visible light irradiation. The Fe-doped TiO2 powders have shown good visible-light photocatalytic activities and the maximum degradation ratio is achieved within 4.5 h.  相似文献

In this work, we have studied the influence of the pH on the synthesis and structural properties of the Ba0.77Ca0.23TiO3 nanopowders synthesized by a modified polymeric precursor method, in order to achieve non-agglomerated powders. Synthesis, morphology, thermal reactions, crystallite and average particle size of the synthesized powders were investigated through thermal analysis (DTA/TG), X-ray diffraction (XRD), field emission scanning electron microscope (FE-SEM) and Infrared spectroscopy. In summary, Ba0.77Ca0.23TiO3 nanopowders were synthesized for the first time at a relative low temperature (500 °C). It was also found that the alkalinity and acidity of the solution presented a great influence on the powder properties. The best results were obtained from solutions with pH = 8.5 and 11 whose nanopowders presented weakly agglomerate, with homogeneous particle size and a narrow size distribution (30–40 nm). This behavior could be explained based on the FT-IR results in which it was possible to see the increased of the chelation in higher pHs.  相似文献

Nano-structured WO3-TiO2 layers were prepared by the sol-gel route. To obtain transparent, porous and crack free layers up to 0.8 μ m with a single dipping cycle a templating strategy was used. As a template three-dimensionally network based on organically modified silane was introduced to the WO3 and TiO2 sols. The WO3 layers were dip-coated onto the conductive glass substrate (TCO) and the TiO2 layers on the top of the WO3 layer. The morphology and the structure of the layers were determined by Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM), High Resolution Transmission Electron Microscopy (HR-TEM), Energy Dispersive X-Ray Spectroscopy (EDXS), Auger and Infrared spectroscopy. SEM image of the WO3-TiO2 layer confirmed the nano-porosity of the layers and give the size of the particles of about 10 nm for TiO2 and 30 nm for WO3 layer. Further analysis indicated that the titanium sol penetrates the WO3 layer. Particles in the WO3 layer consist of a crystalline monoclinic WO3 core surrounded by a 5–10 nm amorphous phase consisting of WO3, TiO2 and SiO2. The WO3-TiO2 layers were used to assemble all solid state photoelectrochromic (PE) devices. Under 1 sun irradiation (1000 W/m2) the visible transmittance of the PE device changes from 62% to 1.6%. The colouring and bleaching processes last about 10 minutes.  相似文献

TiO2 photocatalysts tri-doped with N, F and Fe were synthesized by a sol–gel method. The cooperation of N, F and Fe in tri-doped TiO2 was verified by monitoring NH3 decomposition, X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), high-resolution transmission electron microscopy (HRTEM), X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) and ultraviolet–visible (UV–Vis) absorption spectroscopy, and by the simulation based on the density functional theory (DFT). The results from NH3 decomposition revealed that the cooperation of N, F and Fe broadened the optical response of TiO2 to the visible light range and also enhanced the photocatalytic activity of TiO2 under UV light. The reusability of the tri-doped TiO2 sample after three cycles under UV and visible light irradiation was very good. XRD patterns and SEM and HRTEM images indicated that the tri-doped sample was nanometric anatase with a small amount of rutile with an average particle size of 18 nm. Tri-doping with N, F and Fe suppressed the phase transition from anatase to rutile and also resulted in some more lattice defects. XPS analysis showed that the N, F and Fe atoms were doped into the TiO2 lattice. UV–Vis absorption spectra of the tri-doped TiO2 showed that its optical absorption edge was moved up to 640 nm and its UV absorption was also enhanced. The DFT results confirmed that the cooperation of Fe 3d and N 2p orbits narrowed the band gap of TiO2 and the F 2p orbit broadened the upper valence bands. The synergistic electron density around N, F and Fe in tri-doped TiO2 was capable of enhancing the photochemical stability and reusability of TiO2.  相似文献

A nanoceramic product of the composition Lu2Ti2O7 is synthesized by a coprecipitation method with a subsequent sublimation drying and an annealing at 650–1650°C. The conduction of Lu2Ti2O7 synthesized at 1650°C is ionic (10–3 S cm–1 at 800°C). Thus, a new material with a high ionic conduction has been discovered. The ordering in Lu2Ti2O7 is studied by methods of RFA, RSA, IK spectroscopy, electron microscopy, and impedance spectroscopy. The existence of a low-temperature phase transition fluorite-pyrochlore at 800°C and a high-temperature conversion order-disorder at 1650°C are established.Translated from Elektrokhimiya, Vol. 41, No. 3, 2005, pp. 298–303.Original Russian Text Copyright © 2005 by Shlyakhtina, Ukshe, Shcherbakova.  相似文献

Ba(Zr,Ti)O3/LaNiO3 layered thin films have been synthesized by chemical solution deposition (CSD) using metal-organic precursor solutions. Ba(Zr,Ti)O3 thin films with smooth surface morphology and excellent dielectric properties were prepared on Pt/TiO x /SiO2/Si substrates by controlling the Zr/Ti ratios in Ba(Zr,Ti)O3. Chemically derived LaNiO3 thin films crystallized into the perovskite single phase and their conductivity was sufficiently high as a thin-film electrode. Ba(Zr,Ti)O3/LaNiO3 layered thin films of single phase perovskite were fabricated on SiO2/Si and fused silica substrates. The dielectric constant of a Ba(Zr0.2Ti0.8)O3 thin film prepared at 700°C on a LaNiO3/fused silica substrate was found to be approximately 830 with a dielectric loss of 5% at 1 kHz and room temperature. Although the Ba(Zr0.2Ti0.8)O3 thin film on the LaNiO3/fused silica substrate showed a smaller dielectric constant than the Ba(Zr0.2Ti0.8)O3 thin film on Pt/TiO x /SiO2/Si, small temperature dependence of dielectric constant was achieved over a wide temperature range. Furthermore, the fabrication of the Ba(Zr,Ti)O3/LaNiO3 films in alternate thin layers similar to a multilayer capacitor structure was performed by the same solution deposition process.  相似文献

A TiO2 thin buffer layer was introduced between the (Pb0.4Sr0.6)TiO3 (PST) film and the Pt/Ti/SiO2/Si substrate in an attempt to improve their electrical properties. Both TiO2 and PST layers were prepared by a chemical solution deposition method. It was found that the TiO2 buffer layer increased the (100)/(001) preferred orientation of PST and decreased the surface roughness of the films, leading to an enhancement in electrical properties including an increase in dielectric constant and in its tunability by DC voltage, as well as a decrease in dielectric loss and leakage current density. At an optimized thickness of the TiO2 buffer layer deposited using 0.02 mol/l TiO2 sol, the 330-nm-thick PST films had a dielectric constant, loss and tunability of 1126, 0.044 and 60.7% at 10 kHz, respectively, while the leakage current density was 1.95 × 10−6 A/cm2 at 100 kV/cm.  相似文献
