The forms of all semisymmetric, branching, multidimensional measures of inset information on open domains are determined. This is done for both the complete and the possibly incomplete partition cases. The key to these results is to find the general solution of the functional equation

Random attractor for stochastic reaction-diffusion equation with multiplicative noise on unbounded domains

In this paper we study the asymptotic dynamics for stochastic reaction-diffusion equation with multiplicative noise defined on unbounded domains. We investigate the existence of a random attractor for the random dynamical system associated with the equation. The asymptotic compactness of the random dynamical system is established by using uniform a priori estimates for far-field values of solutions and a cut-off technique.     

Integral points for groups of multiplicative type

We construct a finite subgroup of Brauer–Manin obstruction for detecting the existence of integral points on integral models of homogeneous spaces of linear algebraic groups of multiplicative type. As an application, the strong approximation theorem for linear algebraic groups of multiplicative type is established. Moreover, the sum of two integral squares over some quadratic fields is discussed.     

Note on the Riemann-Hurwitz type formula for multiplicative sequences

We give a formula of the Riemann-Hurwitz type for classes defined by multiplicative sequences as corollaries of the Chern number formula for ramified coverings.

     

Uniform convergence for moment problems with Fermi-Dirac type entropies

We consider the best entropic estimation to a unknown density¯x, given some of its algebraic or trigonometric moments. A uniform convergence theorem is established in this paper for such problems using Fermi-Dirac type entropic objectives.     

Generalized fundamental equation of information of multiplicative type

The general solution of the generalized multidimensional fundamental equation of information of multiplicative type on the open domain is obtained. Dedicated to Professor Otto Haupt with best wishes on his 100th birthday.

A Capelli type theorem for multiplicative convolutions of polynomials

We prove a Capelli type theorem on the canonical decomposition for multiplicative convolutions of polynomials. We derive then some irreducibility criteria for convolutions of polynomials in several variables over a given field. The irreducibility conditions are expressed only in terms of the degrees of the polynomials in convolution, the degrees of their coefficients, and the degrees of some suitable divisors of the resulting leading coefficient. Condorcet domains of tiling type

A Condorcet domain (CD) is a collection of linear orders on a set of candidates satisfying the following property: for any choice of preferences of voters from this collection, a simple majority rule does not yield cycles. We propose a method of constructing “large” CDs by use of rhombus tiling diagrams and explain that this method unifies several constructions of CDs known earlier. Finally, we show that three conjectures on the maximal sizes of those CDs are, in fact, equivalent and provide a counterexample to them.     

Hilbert integrals on Siegel domains of type II

The Šilov boundary of a Siegel domain of type II is equivalent to a 2-step nilpotent Lie group. In this paper, we mainly study the L^p-boundness of the Hilbert integrals on Siegel domains of type II by using F. Ricci and E.M. Stein's result about singular integrals on Lie groups^[1]. This is the generalization of part of the work done by P.H.Phong and E.M.Stein in [2]
