A result of Godefroy and Shapiro states that the convolution operators on the space of entire functions on Cn, which are not multiples of identity, are hypercyclic. Analogues of this result have appeared for some spaces of holomorphic functions on a Banach space. In this work, we define the space holomorphic functions associated to a sequence of spaces of polynomials and determine conditions on this sequence that assure hypercyclicity of convolution operators. Some known results come out as particular cases of this setting. We also consider holomorphic functions associated to minimal ideals of polynomials and to polynomials of the Schatten-von Neumann class.  相似文献

ABSTRACT

Let G be a connected, linear algebraic group defined over ?, acting regularly on a finite dimensional vector space V over ? with ?-structure V ?. Assume that V possesses a Zariski-dense orbit, so that (G, ?, V) becomes a prehomogeneous vector space over ?. We consider the left regular representation π of the group of ?-rational points G ? on the Banach space C0(V ?) of continuous functions on V ? vanishing at infinity, and study the convolution operators π(f), where f is a rapidly decreasing function on the identity component of G ?. Denote the complement of the dense orbit by S, and put S ? = S ∩ V ?. It turns out that, on V ? ? S ?, π(f) is a smooth operator. If S ? = {0}, the restriction of the Schwartz kernel of π(f) to the diagonal defines a homogeneous distribution on V ? ? {0}. Its nonunique extension to V ? can then be regarded as a trace of π(f). If G is reductive, and S and S ? are irreducible hypersurfaces, π(f) corresponds, on each connected component of V ? ? S ?, to a totally characteristic pseudodifferential operator. In this case, the restriction of the Schwartz kernel of π(f) to the diagonal defines a distribution on V ? ? S ? given by some power |p(m)| s of a relative invariant p(m) of (G, ?, V) and, as a consequence of the Fundamental Theorem of Prehomogeneous Vector Spaces, its extension to V ?, and the complex s-plane, satisfies functional equations similar to those for local zeta functions. The aim of this paper is to give some representation formulas of Riesz and Poisson-Jensen type for super-solutions to a class of hypoelliptic ultraparabolic operators on a homogeneous Lie group . Our results complete the ones obtained in Cinti (Math Scand 100:1–21, 2007). We also provide a suitable theory for -Green functions and for -Green potentials of Radon measures. In this paper we establish the connection between singular integral operators with conjugation and matrix functions consimilar to the identity. We show that any matrix function consimilar to the identity is factorable (in some space L p ) if and only if it admits a special factorization, that we call antisymmetric, and that this antisymmetric factorization has a direct connection with the factorization of singular integral operators with conjugation. When dealing with convex functions defined on a normed vector space X the biconjugate is usually considered with respect to the dual system (X, X *), that is, as a function defined on the initial space X. However, it is of interest to consider also the biconjugate as a function defined on the bidual X **. It is the aim of this note to calculate the biconjugate of the functions obtained by several operations which preserve convexity. In particular we recover the result of Fitzpatrick and Simons on the biconjugate of the maximum of two convex functions with a much simpler proof.   相似文献

Let L(X,Y) stand for the space of all bounded linear operators between real Banach spaces X and Y, and let Σ be a σ-algebra of sets. A bounded linear operator T from the Banach space B(Σ,X) of X-valued Σ-totally measurable functions to Y is said to be σ-smooth if ‖T(fn)Y→0 whenever a sequence of scalar functions (‖fn(⋅)X) is order convergent to 0 in B(Σ). It is shown that a bounded linear operator is σ-smooth if and only if its representing measure is variationally semi-regular, i.e., as An↓∅ (here stands for the semivariation of m on AΣ). As an application, we show that the space Lσs(B(Σ,X),Y) of all σ-smooth operators from B(Σ,X) to Y provided with the strong operator topology is sequentially complete. We derive a Banach-Steinhaus type theorem for σ-smooth operators from B(Σ,X) to Y. Moreover, we characterize countable additivity of measures in terms of continuity of the corresponding operators .  相似文献

Given a process with independent increments X (not necessarily a martingale) and a large class of square integrable r.v. H = f(X T ), f being the Fourier transform of a finite measure μ, we provide a direct expression for Kunita-Watanabe and Föllmer-Schweizer decompositions of H. The representation is expressed by means of two significant maps: the expectation and derivative operators related to the characteristics of X. We also evaluate the expression for the variance optimal error when hedging the claim H with underlying process X. Those questions are motivated by finding the solution of the celebrated problem of global and local quadratic risk minimization in mathematical finance.  相似文献

We present an operator theoretic approach to orthogonal rational functions based on the identification of a suitable matrix representation of the multiplication operator associated with the corresponding orthogonality measure. Two alternatives are discussed, leading to representations which are linear fractional transformations with matrix coefficients acting on infinite Hessenberg or five-diagonal unitary matrices. This approach permits us to recover the orthogonality measure throughout the spectral analysis of an infinite matrix depending uniquely on the poles and the parameters of the recurrence relation for the orthogonal rational functions. Besides, the zeros of the orthogonal and para-orthogonal rational functions are identified as the eigenvalues of matrix linear fractional transformations of finite Hessenberg or five-diagonal matrices. As an application we use operator perturbation theory results to obtain new relations between the support of the orthogonality measure and the location of the poles and parameters of the recurrence relation for the orthogonal rational functions.  相似文献
