This paper proposes a new single-lane cellular automaton model for traffic flow. The model takes into account normal drivers’ spacing policies and transportation engineering practices to guarantee that microscopic vehicle behavior is more in line with vehicular movement in the real world. As a result, drivers’ reactions are based on a safety analysis that determines the most appropriate action for a vehicle to take. Hence, the model introduces a new set of simple rules to change the speed of vehicles that incorporates three important thresholds required by the follower vehicle to accelerate, slow down or maintain its speed. Thus, the space gap, relative speed and limited acceleration/deceleration capabilities are introduced into simulations. Simulation results obtained from a system with periodic conditions show that the model can smooth the speed drop when vehicles approach the upstream front of the traffic jam. Therefore, the model avoids unrealistic deceleration behavior found in most previous cellular automata models. Besides, the model is also capable of reproducing most empirical findings including the three states of traffic flow, the backward speed of the downstream front of the traffic jam, and different congested traffic patterns induced by a system with open boundary conditions with an on-ramp. 在NaSh模型的基础上,考虑交通事故和养护路段等意外事件对高速公路交通流的影响,建立了有意外事件影响的在车道管制下的高速公路交通流元胞自动机模型,并进行数值模拟. 研究发现:意外事件对高速公路交通流有明显影响,并且意外事件对交通流的影响在某一密度值范围内尤其明显,且意外事件堵塞点在第一车道比在第二车道对交通流的影响小;同时,在该密度值范围内,意外事件堵塞时间和堵塞路段长度越长,对交通流的影响就越大.

在分析应急车辆对城市道路交通流影响的基础上, 引入让行状态参数、警笛影响区域和强制换道安全距离等特征变量, 修改换道规则, 建立了多车道元胞自动机模型, 并进行数值模拟. 结果表明, 车道数量和混合车辆比例系数在低密度范围内影响车辆速度及换道次数, 警笛影响区域参数改变了一定范围内车辆的换道次数, 应急车辆强制换道安全距离参数主要影响应急车辆的速度及换道次数.研究发现, 应急车辆对低密度交通流的扰动现象明显, 其与社会车辆相互作用参数的设置使得交通流元胞自动机模型更接近应急条件下实际交通运行.

针对Nagel-Schreckenberg模型(NaSch模型)中存在的高速车辆可能发生追尾事故的不安全性,考虑了前车速度为零的情况,提出一种新的强调驾驶安全性的一维元胞自动机交通流模型:安全驾驶模型,并对该模型进行了数值模拟.由于安全概率的引入,使得系统在临界密度附近出现低速的同步相,而不是完全的堵塞相,减小了追尾事故发生的可能性,提高了高密度时道路的通行能力.模拟结果显示出了亚稳态、非平衡相变以及滞后效应等实际交通所具有的特性.

在Nagel-Schreckenberg(NS)模型的基础上,提出一种可应用智能交通系统(ITS)信息的新的交通流元胞自动机模型. 其中考虑了有效间距及刹车灯的作用,并引入了可变安全间距的新概念. 数值模拟表明:对于这种改进的ITS元胞自动机模型,道路交通量有了显著提高,体现了智能交通的优越性——有效地扩大交通流量,减少阻塞生成. 当考虑快车和慢车的混合交通流时,发现即使少量的慢车也会导致交通流量大幅度下降,说明了严格实施快慢道行驶的必要性.

We propose a simple cellular automaton for traffic flow within the fundamental diagram, which could reproduce aspects of the three-phase theory. This so-called average space gap model (ASGM) is based on the Nagel–Schreckenberg model with additional slow-to-start and anticipation rules. The anticipation rule takes into account the average space gap of multiple leading vehicles and conveys to the model its three-phase property. Due to the anticipation rule, ASGM can show the transition from free flow to synchronized flow. Due to the slow-to-start rule, ASGM can show the spontaneous wide moving jam emerges in the synchronized flow. Simulations are carried out for periodic and open boundary conditions. Under periodic boundary condition, the fundamental diagram, and the properties of synchronized flow are studied. Under open boundary condition, different congested patterns induced by an on-ramp are analyzed. We found that the ASGM produces the same spatiotemporal dynamics as many of the more complex three-phase models. Due to its simplicity and its close relation to conventional slow-to-start models, this model can shed light on the relation between ‘two-phase’ and three-phase models. 相似文献

Based on simulations with cellular automaton (CA) traffic flow models, a generic physical feature of the three-phase models studied in the paper is disclosed. The generic feature is a discontinuous character of driver over-acceleration caused by a combination of two qualitatively different mechanisms of over-acceleration: (i) Over-acceleration through lane changing to a faster lane, (ii) over-acceleration occurring in car-following without lane changing. Based on this generic feature a new three-phase CA traffic flow model is developed. This CA model explains the set of the fundamental empirical features of traffic breakdown in real heterogeneous traffic flow consisting of passenger vehicles and trucks. 在一维交通流元胞自动机NaSch模型的基础上,优先考虑驾驶员的不确定性敏感预期行为, 将随机延迟过程放在确定性减速之前,从而建立一种新的一维元胞自动机交通流模型:敏感驾驶模型 (简称SDNaSch模型),并根据所给出的车辆状态演化的并行更新规则作了数值模 拟,模拟得到的基本图表明,与NaSch模型相比,道路交通量有较大提高,接近于实测数据 ,说明新模型能更贴切地描述交通现象;某些密度区域流量出现两个分支,表明在临界点附 近存在亚稳态;而且会出现畅行相与阻塞相的相分离界面. 从车辆速度分布演化的时空斑图 ,可以看到宽幅运动阻塞相的出现以及畅行相→宽幅运动阻塞相和宽幅运动阻塞相→畅行相 的相变. 接着,计及实际交通情况,考虑行驶车辆中一部分是敏感驾驶,而其余车辆按NaSc h模型规则行驶,数值模拟结果进一步证明,敏感驾驶因素对车流的作用是很大的,随着敏 感驾驶车辆的增多,道路容量也随之提高.

利用双车道元胞自动机模型,研究公交车停靠对道路混合交通流的影响.针对港湾式和非港湾式两种不同公交车站设置,在开放边界下模拟了公交车停靠所产生的交通瓶颈问题,给出了车辆入流概率-公交车比例相平面上的相图,区分了自由流相和拥挤相,研究了相图各区中公交车站附近的平均密度和速度分布图,比较了两种公交车站情况下的道路交通流的动力学特征.研究发现,当公交车比例较小时,与非港湾式车站相比,港湾式车站可以显著改善车站处的交通状况.

Based on the Ishibashi and Fukui crossroad traffic flow model [Y. Ishibashi and M. Fukui. J. Phys. Soc. Japan. 70 (2001) 2793], mixed traffic flow (i.e., the fast and slow vehicles with different maximum velocities are mixed) is investigated in this work. According to the numerical simulation results and the principle for constructing the phase diagram, phase diagrams for mixed traffic flow are constructed. It is noted that the topology of these phase diagrams is similar to that of phase diagrams for homogeneous vehicles (which refers to slow vehicles only). From the phase diagrams, it is evident that mixed traffic flow is influenced by the mixing rate f (fraction of slow and fast vehicles) in regions II and V, but not in other regions. Although a mixture of fast and slow vehicles is introduced in the crossroad traffic flow model, the separation between phases in the phase diagrams remains linear. For a given q (the vehicle density on the northbound road), one flow plateau appears in regions IIx or IVy, while two maximum flow plateaus appear in region V in each of the phase diagrams. The maximum flow values in region V reflect the maximum traffic capacity for the traffic system as defined in this work. Since mixed traffic flow is a common phenomenon in real traffic, this work may offer help in real traffic simulations and traffic management. 相似文献

Precipitation/dissolution reactions coupled with solute transport are modeled as a cellular automaton in which solute molecules perform a random walk on a regular lattice and react according to a local probabilistic rule. Stationary solid particles dissolve with a certain probability and, provided solid is already present or the solution is saturated, solute particles have a probability to precipitate. In our simulation of the dissolution of a solid block inside uniformly flowing water we obtain solid precipitation downstream from the original solid edge, in contrast to the standard reaction-transport equations. The observed effect is the result of fluctuations in solute density and diminishes when we average over a larger ensemble. The additional precipitation of solid is accompanied by a substantial reduction in the relatively small solute concentration. The model is appropriate for the study of the role of intrinsic fluctuations in the presence of reaction thresholds and can be employed to investigate porosity changes associated with the carbonation of cement. 相似文献

In this paper, we have studied synchronized flow and phase separations in mixed (heterogeneous) single-lane highway traffic. It is found that the flux–density (occupancy) curve of heterogeneous flow, as expected, lies in between two flux–density (occupancy) curves of homogeneous flow R=0 (all vehicles are slow vehicles) and R=1 (all vehicles are fast vehicles). However, unexpectedly, the velocity–density (occupancy) curve of heterogeneous flow does not. We also found that cross-correlation function (CCF) analysis shows that heterogeneous flow has almost the same strong coupling as homogeneous flow. In other words, when traffic is in free flow or jams, the value of CCF is approximate to be 1.0, while the value is about 0.1 in synchronized flow. 相似文献
