Pr4(SeO3)2(SeO4)F6 and NaSm(SeO3)(SeO4): Selenite‐Selenates of Rare Earth Elements Light green single crystals of Pr4(SeO3)2(SeO4)F6 have been obtained from the decomposition of Pr2(SeO4)3 in the presence of LiF in a gold ampoule. The monoclinic compound (C2/c, Z = 4, a = 2230.5(3), b = 710.54(9), c = 835.6(1) pm, β = 98.05(2)°, Rall = 0.0341) contains two crystallographically different Pr3+ ions. Pr(1)3+ is attached by six fluoride ions and two chelating SeO32– groups (CN = 10), Pr(2)3+ is surrounded by four fluoride ions, three monodentate SeO32– and two SeO42– groups. One of the latter acts as a chelating ligand, so the CN of Pr(2)3+ is 10. The selenite ions are themselves coordinated by five and the selenate ions by four Pr3+ ions. The coordination number of the F ions is three and four, respectively. The linkage of the coordination polyhedra leads to cavities in the crystal structure which incorporate the lone pairs of the selenite ions. The reaction of Sm2(SeO4)3 and NaCl in gold ampoules yielded light yellow single crystals of NaSm(SeO3)(SeO4). The monoclinic compound (P21/c, Z = 4, a = 1066.9(2), b = 691.66(8), c = 825.88(9) pm, β = 91.00(2)°, Rall = 0.0530) contains tenfold oxygen coordinated Sm3+ ions. The oxygen atoms belong to five SeO32– and two SeO42– ions. Two of the SeO32– groups as well as one of the SeO42– groups act as a chelating ligand. The sodium ions are surrounded by five SeO42– ions and one SeO32– group. One of the selenate ions is attached chelating leading to a coordination number of seven. Each selenite group is coordinated by six (5 × Sm3+ and 1 × Na+), each selenate ion by seven cations (5 × Na+ and 2 × Sm3+).  相似文献

LiLa2F3(SO4)2 and LiEr2F3(SO4)2: Fluoride‐Sulfates of the Rare‐Earth Elements with Lithium The reaction of LiF with the anhydrous sulfates M2(SO4)3 (M = La, Er) in sealed gold ampoules yields single crystals of the pseudo quaternary compounds LiLa2F3(SO4)2 and LiEr2F3(SO4)2. According to X‐ray single crystal investigations, LiLa2F3(SO4)2 crystallizes with the monoclinic (I2/a, Z = 4, a = 828.3(2), b = 694.7(1), c = 1420.9(3) pm, β = 95.30(2)°, Rall = 0.0214) and LiEr2F3(SO4)2 with the orthorhombic crystal system (Pbcn, a = 1479.1(2), b = 633.6(1), c = 813.7(1) pm, Rall = 0.0229). A common feature of both structures is a dimeric unit of metal atoms connected via three fluoride ions. This leads to relatively short metal‐metal distances (La3+–La3+: 389 pm, Er3+–Er3+: 355 pm). In LiLa2F3(SO4)2, Li+ is surrounded by four oxygen atoms of four sulfate groups and one fluoride ion in form of a trigonal bipyramid, in LiEr2F3(SO4)2 two further fluoride ligands are attached.  相似文献

Single and Double Deprotonated Maleic Acid in Praseodymium Hydrogenmaleate Octahydrate, Pr(C4O4H3)3 · 8 H2O, and Praseodymiummaleatechloride Tetrahydrate, Pr(C4O4H2)Cl · 4 H2O Single crystals of Pr(C4O4H3)3 · 8 H2O grew by slow evaporation of a solution which had been obtained by dissolving Pr(OH)3 in aqueous maleic acid. The triclinic compound (P1, Z = 2, a = 728.63(3), b = 1040.23(3), c = 1676.05(8) pm, α = 72.108(2)°, β = 87.774(2)°, γ = 70.851(2)°, Rall = 0.0261) contains Pr3+ ions in ninefold coordination of oxygen atoms which belong to two monodentate maleate ions and seven H2O molecules. There is one further non‐coordinating maleate ion and one crystal water molecule in the unit cell. Thermal treatment of Pr(C4O4H3)3 · 8 H2O leads first to the anhydrous compound which then decomposes to the respective oxide in two steps upon further heating. Evaporation of a solution of Pr(C4O4H3)3 · 8 H2O which contained additional Cl ions yielded single crystals of Pr(C4O4H2)Cl · 4 H2O. In the crystal structure (monoclinic, P21/c, Z = 4, a = 866.0(1), b = 1344.3(1), c = 896.9(1) pm, β = 94.48(2)°, Rall = 0.0227), the Pr3+ ions are surrounded by nine oxygen atoms. The latter belong to four H2O molecules and three maleate ions. Two of the latter act as bidentate ligands.  相似文献

Sulfates and Hydrogensulfates of Erbium: Er(HSO4)3-I, Er(HSO4)3-II, Er(SO4)(HSO4), and Er2(SO4)3 Rod shaped light pink crystals of Er(HSO4)3-I (orthorhombic, Pbca, a = 1195.0(1) pm, b = 949.30(7) pm, c = 1644.3(1) pm) grow from a solution of Er2(SO4)3 in conc. H2SO4 at 250 °C. From slightly diluted solutions (85%) which contain Na2SO4, brick shaped light pink crystals of Er(HSO4)3-II (monoclinic, P21/n, a = 520.00(5) pm, b = 1357.8(1) pm, c = 1233.4(1) pm, β = 92.13(1)°) were obtained at 250 °C and crystals of the same colour of Er(SO4)(HSO4) (monoclinic, P21/n, a = 545.62(6) pm, b = 1075.6(1) pm, c = 1053.1(1) pm, β = 104.58(1)°) at 60 °C. In both hydrogensulfates, Er3+ is surrounded by eight oxygen atoms. In Er(HSO4)3-I layers of HSO4 groups are connected only via hydrogen bridges, while Er(HSO4)3-II consists of a threedimensional polyhedra network. In the crystal structure of Er(SO4)(HSO4) Er3+ is sevenfold coordinated by oxygen atoms, which belong to four SO42–- and three HSO4-tetrahedra, respectively. The anhydrous sulfate, Er2(SO4)3, cannot be prepared from H2SO4 solutions but crystallizes from a NaCl-melt. The coordination number of Er3+ in Er2(SO4)3 (orthorhombic, Pbcn, a = 1270.9(1) pm, b = 913.01(7) pm, c = 921.67(7) pm) is six. The octahedral coordinationpolyhedra are connected via all vertices to the SO42–-tetrahedra.  相似文献

H3OLa(SO4)2 · 3 H2O: A New Acidic Sulfate of the Rare Earth Elements Colorless single crystals of H3OLa(SO4)2 · 3 H2O have been obtained by the reaction of La2O3 and sulfuric acid (80% H2SO4) at 150 °C. In the crystal structure (monoclinic, P21/c, Z = 4, a = 1119.5(5), b = 693.3(2), c = 1357.4(4) pm, β = 110.94(4)°) La3+ is ninefold coordinated by oxygen atoms which belong to five SO4 ions and three H2O molecules. One of sulfate groups acts as a bidentate ligand. Hydrogen bonding is observed with H2O molecules as donors and acceptors. Furthermore, strong hydrogen bonds are formed between the H3O+ ions and oxygen atoms of the SO42– groups.  相似文献

Red single crystals of Gd2[Pt2(SO4)4(HSO4)2](HSO4)2 (triclinic, , Z = 1, a = 844.02(9), b = 908.50(9), c = 939.49(8) pm, α = 107.73(1)°, β = 112.10(1)°, γ = 103.53(1)°) were obtained by the reaction of [Gd(NO3)(H2O)7][PtCl6]·4H2O with sulfuric acid at 320 °C in a sealed glass ampoule. In the crystal structure, Pt2 dumbbells are coordinated by four chelating sulfate groups and two monodentate hydrogensulfate ions. Two further HSO4? ions are not bonded to the Pt2 dumbbell. The Gd3+ ions are eightfold coordinated by oxygen atoms. The IR data of Gd2[Pt2(SO4)4(HSO4)2](HSO4)2 are typical for these type of compounds. The thermal decomposition of the compound leads to elemental platinum and Gd2O3.  相似文献

NaPr9S2[SiO4]6: A Sulfide Silicate of Praseodymium with the Structure of Bromapatite NaPr9S2[SiO4]6 is obtained as pale green single crystals of hexagonal columnar shape from reactions of Pr, Pr6O11, S, SiO2 and NaCl (850°C, 7 d) in fused evacuated silica tubes. The crystal structure (hexagonal, P63/m, Z = 1, a = 981.05(4), c = 689.68(2) pm) corresponds with a modified bromapatite structure where orthosilicate ([SiO4]4?) and sulfide (S2?) anions provide coordination numbers of eight and nine to the two crystallographically different cations. These occupy the positions 4 f (Na+ together with Pr3+ in a molar ratio of 1:3) and 6h (Pr3+ only) to realize an average Ca5Br[PO4]3-type structure.  相似文献

The compounds Ln2AuP3 were synthesized by reaction of the elemental components in evacuated silica tubes. Their crystal structures were determined from single‐crystal diffractometer data. The compounds with Ln = La, Ce, and Pr crystallize with an orthorhombic U2NiC3 type structure (Pnma, Z = 4). The structure refinement for Ce2AuP3 resulted in a = 774.14(6) pm, b = 421.11(4) pm, c = 1612.3(1) pm, R = 0.019 for 1410 structure factors and 38 variable parameters. For Pr2AuP3 a residual of R = 0.024 was obtained. Nd2AuP3 crystallizes with a monoclinic distortion of this structure: P21/c, Z = 4, a = 416.14(4) pm, b = 768.87(6) pm, c = 1647.1(2) pm, β = 104.06(1)°, R = 0.022 for 1361 F values and 56 variables. The near‐neighbor coordinations of the two structures are nearly the same. In both structures the gold and phosphorus atoms form two‐dimensionally infinite nets, where the gold atoms are tetrahedrally coordinated by phosphorus atoms with Au–P distances varying between 245.8 and 284.2 pm. Two thirds of the phosphorus atoms form pairs with single‐bond distances varying between 217.7 and 218.9 pm. Thus, using oxidation numbers the structures can be rationalized with the formulas (Ln+3)2[AuP3]–6 and (Ln+3)2Au+1(P2)–4P–3. Accordingly, La2AuP3 is a diamagnetic semiconductor. Pr2AuP3 is semiconducting with an antiferromagnetic ground state, showing metamagnetism with a critical field of Bc = 0.5(± 0.1) T. In contrast, the cerium compound is a metallic conductor, even though its cell volume indicates that the cerium atoms are essentially trivalent, as is also suggested by the ferro‐ or ferrimagnetic behavior of the compound.  相似文献

The Crystal Structures of [NEt4]2[Zn4Cl4(SePh)6], [NEt4]2[Zn8Cl4Se(SePh)12], [Zn8Se(SePh)14(PnPr3)2], [HPnPr2R]2[Zn8Cl4Te(TePh)12] (R = nPr, Ph), and [Zn10Te4(TePh)12(PR3)2] (R = nPr, Ph) In the prescence of NEt4Cl ZnCl2 reacts with PhSeSiMe3 or a mixture of PhSeSiMe3/Se(SiMe3)2 to form the ionic complexes [NEt4]2[Zn4Cl4(SePh)6] 1 or [NEt4]2[Zn8Cl4Se(SePh)12] 2 respectively. The use of PnPr3 instead of the quarternary ammonia salt leads in toluene to the formation of crystalline [Zn8Se(SePh)14(PnPr3)2] 3 . Reactions of ZnCl2 with PhTeSiMe3 and tertiary phosphines result in acetone in crystallisation of the ionic clusters [HPnPr2R]2[Zn8Cl4Te(TePh)12] (R = nPr 4 , Ph 5 ) and in THF of the uncharged [Zn10Te4(TePh)12(PR3)2] (R = nPr 6 , Ph 7 ). Single crystals of Pr(ClO3)3 · 2 H2O have been obtained from the reaction of Pr2(CO3)3 · x H2O and HClO3. The crystal structure (orthorhombic, P212121, Z = 4, a = 576.03(7), b = 1236.7(2), c = 1314.0(2) pm) contains Pr3+ ions coordinated by two H2O molecules and seven ClO3 groups. According to DTA/TG measurements, Pr(ClO3)3 · 2 H2O decomposes in a two step mechanism with Pr(ClO3)3 as an intermediate and PrOCl as the final product. The decomposition has also been investigated by means of temperature dependent X-ray powder diffraction.  相似文献

Anhydrous Selenites of Lanthanum: Syntheses and Crystal Structures of La2(SeO3)3 and LaFSeO3 Colorless single crystals of La2(SeO3)3 were obtained via the decomposition of La2(SeO4)3 in the presence of NaCl in sealed gold ampoules. The compound crystallizes in the orthorhombic system (Pnma, Z = 4, a = 846.7(1), b = 1428.6(1), c = 710.3(2) pm, Rall = 0.0223) and contains La3+ in tenfold coordination of oxygen atoms which belong to seven SeO32– groups. Hence, three of the latter act as bidentate ligands. The reaction of LiF with La2(SeO4)3 in sealed gold ampoules yielded colorless single crystals of LaFSeO3 (monoclinic, P21/c, Z = 12, a = 1819.8(3), b = 715.75(8), c = 846.4(1) pm, β = 96.89(2)°, Rall = 0.0352). The crystal structure contains three crystallographically different La3+ ions. La1 is surrounded by six oxygen atoms from five SeO32– groups and four fluoride ions, La2 is coordinated by two bidentate SeO32– ions and seven fluoride ligands. La3 is surrounded by oxygen atoms only with the coordination number and polyhedron being almost the same as found for La3+ in La2(SeO3)3. Furthermore, the crystal structures of both compounds are strongly influenced by the lone pairs of the SeO32– groups.  相似文献

Red single crystals of Pt2(HSO4)2(SO4)2 were obtained by the reaction of elemental platinum with conc. sulfuric acid at 350 °C in sealed glass ampoules. The crystal structure (monoclinic, P21/c, Z = 2, a = 868.6(2), b = 826.2(1), c = 921.8(2) pm, β=116.32(1)°, Rall = 0.0348) shows dumbbell shaped Pt26+ cations which are coordinated by four SO42— and two HSO4 ions. Each of the sulfate ions is attached to another Pt26+ ion yielding layers according to equation/tex2gif-stack-1.gif[Pt2(SO4)4/2(HSO4)2/1]. The layers are connected by hydrogen bonds with the OH group of the hydrogensulfate ion as donor and the non‐bonding oxygen atom of the sulfate ion as acceptor.  相似文献

Preparation, Raman Spectra, and Crystal Structures of V2O3(SO4)2, K[VO(SO4)2], and NH4[VO(SO4)2] The oxo-sulfato-vanadates(V) V2O3(SO4)2, K[VO(SO4)2], and NH4[VO(SO4)2] have been prepared as crystals suitable for X-ray structure determination. In all structures sulfate acts as an unidentate ligand only toward a single vanadium atom. The structure of V2O3(SO4)2 consists of a threedimensional network of pairs of cornershared VO6 octahedra with one terminal oxygen atom each, and SO4 tetrahedra. All oxygen atoms of the sulfate ions are coordinated. NH4[VO(SO4)2] and K[VO(SO4)2] are isostructural. VO6 octahedra with one terminal oxygen atom and pairs of sulfate tetrahedra form infinite chains by corner sharing. The chains are weakly interlinked to layers. The sulfate ions are distorted towards planar SO3 molecules and single oxygen atoms attached to vanadium. This structural detail gives an explanation for the mechanism of the reversible reaction K[VO(SO4)2] ? K[VO2(SO4)] + SO3 at 400°C. Raman spectra of the compounds have been recorded and interpreted with respect to their structures. Crystal data: V2O3(SO4)2, monoclinic, space group P21/a, a = 947.2(4), b = 891.3(3), c? 989.1(4) pm, β = 104.56(3)°, Z = 4, 878 unique data, R(Rw) = 0.039(0,033); K[VO(SO4)2], orthorhombic, space group P212121, a = 495.3(2), b = 869.6(9), c = 1 627(1)pm, Z = 4, 642 unique data, R(Rw) = 0,11(0,10); NH4[VO(SO4)2], orthorhombic, space group P212121, a = 495.3(1), b = 870.0(2), c = 1 676.7(4)pm, Z = 4, 768 unique data, R(Rw) = 0.088(0.083).  相似文献

Syntheses, Crystal Structures, and Thermal Behavior of Er2(SO4)3 · 8 H2O and Er2(SO4)3 · 4 H2O Evaporation of aqueous solutions of Er2(SO4)3 yields light pink single crystals of Er2(SO4)3 · 8 H2O. X-ray single crystal investigations show that the compound crystallizes monoclinically (C2/c, Z = 8, a = 1346.1(3), b = 667.21(1), c = 1816.2(6) pm, β = 101.90(3)°, Rall = 0.0169) with eightfold coordination of Er3+, according to Er(SO4)4(H2O)4. DSC- and temperature dependent X-ray powder investigations show that the decomposition of the hydrate follows a two step mechanism, firstly yielding Er2(SO4)3 · 3 H2O and finally Er2(SO4)3. Attempts to synthesize Er2(SO4)3 · 3 H2O led to another hydrate, Er2(SO4)3 · 4 H2O. There are two crystallographically different Er3+ ions in the triclinic structure (P 1, Z = 2, a = 663.5(2), b = 905.5(2), c = 1046.5(2) pm, α = 93.59(3)°, β = 107.18(2)°, γ = 99.12(3)°, Rall = 0.0248). Er(1)3+ is coordinated by five SO42– groups and three H2O molecules, Er(2)3+ is surrounded by six SO42– groups and one H2O molecule. The thermal decomposition of the tetrahydrate yields Er2(SO4)3 in a one step process. In both cases the dehydration produces the anhydrous sulfate in a modification different from the one known so far.  相似文献

Phosphoraneiminato Complexes of Zirconium: Crystal Structures of [ZrCl3(NPPh3)(HNPPh3)2] and [ZrCl2(NPPh3)2(HNPPh3)2] The phosphoraneiminato complexes [ZrCl3(NPPh3)(HNPPh3)2] ( 1 ) and [ZrCl2(NPPh3)2(HNPPh3)2] ( 2 ) have been obtained by reaction of [ZrCl4(THF)2] with [CsNPPh3]4 in THF solution to give colourless moisture sensitive crystals which are characterized by X‐ray structure determinations. [ZrCl3(NPPh3)(HNPPh3)2] ( 1 ): Space group P 1, Z = 2, lattice dimensions at 193 K: a = 1209.4(2); b = 1480.8(2); c = 1814.2(2) pm; α = 71.203(13)°, β = 71.216(13)°, γ = 74.401(13)°; R = 0.0476. The zirconium atom of 1 is oktahedrally coordinated by the three chlorine atoms in meridional arrangement and by the three nitrogen atoms of the (NPPh3) ligand and of the two phosphane imine molecules HNPPh3. The ZrN bond distance of the (NPPh3) group (193.5 pm) corresponds with a double bond. [ZrCl2(NPPh3)2(HNPPh3)2] ( 2 ): Space group P 1, Z = 4, lattice dimensions at 193 K: a = 1447.6(2); b = 1925.7(2), c = 2457.0(2) pm; α = 67.317(12)°, β = 87.376(12)°, γ = 87.103(13)°; R = 0.0408. The zirconium atom in 2 is octahedrally coordinated by the two chlorine atoms in trans position, and by the nitrogen atoms of the two (NPPh3) groups as well as by the two HNPPh3 molecules. The ZrN distance of the (NPPh3) ligands (198.9 and 202.0 pm) suggest some π‐interaction between the zirconium and the nitrogen atoms.  相似文献

[Me4N]+[SO2F3]?, the first example of a [SO2F3]? salt, has been prepared from Me4NF and SO2F2. The colorless, microcrystalline solid was characterized by its infrared and Raman spectra. The trigonal bipyramidal structure of C2v symmetry of the [SO2F3]? anion is predicted by ab initio calculations. Two oxygen atoms with d(SO)=143.2 pm and one fluorine atom with d(SF)=157.9 pm occupy the equatorial plane. The two fluorine atoms in the axial position with d(SF)=168.5 pm are repulsed by the two oxygen atoms forming a bent axis with ?(FaxSFax)=165.2°.  相似文献

The Reactions of Europium and Yttrium with N‐Iodinetriphenylphosphoraneimine. Crystal Structures of [EuI2(DME)3], [Eu2I(NPPh3)5(DME)] and [Y2I(NPPh3)4(THF)4]+I3 When treated with ultrasound, the reaction of europium metal with INPPh3 in 1,2‐dimethoxyethane (DME) leads to the complexes [EuI2(DME)3] ( 1 ) and [Eu2I(NPPh3)5(DME)] ( 2 ) which are separated from each other by fractional crystallization. On the other hand, the reaction of yttrium metal with INPPh3 under similar conditions in THF gives the ionic phosphoraneiminato complex [Y2I(NPPh3)4(THF)4]+I3 ( 3 ). All complexes are characterized by crystal structure determinations. 1 : Space group P21, Z = 2, lattice dimensions at 188 K: a = 848.9(1); b = 1059.4(1); c = 1227.9(1) pm; β = 93.793(6)°; R = 0.0246. In the molecular structure of 1 the europium atom is eightfold coordinated with a bond angle I–Eu–I of 158.51°. 2 · 2 DME: Space group P1, Z = 2, lattice dimensions at 193 K: a = 1405.5(1); b = 1652.2(2); c = 2203.7(2) pm; α = 89.404(11)°; β = 72.958(11)°; γ = 78.657(11)°; R = 0.0391. In 2 the europium atoms are linked by the μ‐N‐atoms of two (NPPh3) groups to form a planar Eu2N2 four‐membered ring. One of the Eu atoms is terminally coordinated by the N atoms of two (NPPh3) groups, thus achieving a distorted tetrahedral surrounding. The second Eu atom is coordinated by the N atom of one (NPPh3) group, by the terminally bounded iodine atom and by the oxygen atoms of the DME chelate, thus achieving a distorted octahedral surrounding. 3 · 61/2 THF: Space group P1, Z = 2, lattice dimensions at 103 K: a = 1739.7(2); b = 1770.1(2); c = 2153.8(3) pm; α = 74.929(15)°; β = 84.223(14)°; γ = 64.612(12)°; R = 0.0638. In the cation [Y2I(NPPh3)4(THF)4]+ of 3 the yttrium atoms are linked by the μ‐N atoms of two (NPPh3) groups as well as by the μ‐I atom. One (NPPh3) ligand and two THF molecules complete the distorted octahedral coordination at each yttrium atom.  相似文献

The reaction of ReCl5 and fuming sulfuric acid (25 % SO3) in a sealed glass tube at 200 °C led to red, needle shaped single crystals of Re2O4Cl4(SO4) (monoclinic, C2/c, a = 1501.8(2) pm, b = 1545.9(2) pm, c = 945.18(8) pm, β = 98.761(9)°, Z = 8). In the crystal structure the [ReO2] moieties are linked by [SO4]2– tetrahedra to chains along the [101] direction. Each sulfate ion connects four rhenium atoms, additional two chloride ions complete the octahedral coordination sphere of each rhenium atom according to $\rm^1_\infty$ [ReO2/1Cl2/1(SO4)2/4].  相似文献
