Structures of Ionic Di(arenesulfonyl)amides. 3. Four Sodium Di(arenesulfonyl)amides: Lamellar Layers Exhibiting Short C–H…O(nitro), C–H…F–C, or C–I…I–C Interlayer Contacts Low‐temperature X‐ray crystal structures are reported for NaN(SO2C6H4‐4‐X)2 · n H2O, where X = NO2 and n = 3 ( 1 , monoclinic, space group P21, Z = 2), X = F and n = 3 ( 2 , monoclinic, P21/c, Z = 4), X = F and n = 1 ( 3 , orthorhombic, Pccn, Z = 8), or X = I and n = 1 ( 4 , monoclinic, P21/c, Z = 4). The four compounds are examples of layered inorgano‐organic solids where the inorganic component is comprised of metal cations, N(SO2)2 groups and H2O molecules and the outer regions are formed by the 4‐substituted phenyl rings of the folded anions. In the two‐dimensional coordination networks, the cations adopt either an octahedral [Na(O–S)2(OH2)4] ( 1 , 2 ) or a distorted monocapped octahedral [NaN(O–S)4(OH2)2] ( 3 , 4 ) environment. Taking into account the differing crystal symmetries within the two pairs of compounds, it is remarkable that the trihydrates 1 / 2 and the monohydrates 3 / 4 each display chemically identical and nearly isometric Na–O or Na–O/N networks. In the crystal packings, parallel layers are connected through weak hydrogen bonds C–H…O(nitro) ( 1 ) or C–H…F ( 2 , 3 ), or through short “type I” I…I contacts ( 4 ). There is good evidence that the strikingly distinct crystal symmetries in the halogenated homologues 3 / 4 are determined by the specific complementarity requirements of the interlayer binding centres.  相似文献

Structures of Ionic Di(arenesulfonyl)amides. 1. Onium Di(arenesulfonyl)amides: From the Extended to the Folded Conformation of the (ArSO2)2N Anion In a study preceding the investigation of lamellar metal di(arenesulfonyl)amides, the bonding and conformational characteristics of non‐coordinating (ArSO2)2N ions have been established within a series of appropriate onium salts. Starting from the strong NH acids HN(Q‐4‐X)2, where Q = SO2C6H4, the following model compounds were prepared by neutralization or cocrystallization procedures and subjected to low‐temperature X‐ray analyses: Pr4N. N(Q‐4‐COOMe)2 ( 2 , monoclinic, space group C2/c, Z = 4), Pr4N · N(Q‐4‐COOH)2 ( 3 , monoclinic, Cc, Z = 4, O2SNSO2 group disordered), Me3NOH · N(Q‐4‐F)2 ( 4 , monoclinic, P21/n, Z = 4), [DA18C6]2⊕ · 2 N(Q‐4‐H)2 ( 6 , cation = 1,10‐diazonia‐18‐crown‐6, monoclinic, P21/c, Z = 2), [DA18C6]2⊕ · 2 N(Q‐4‐Me)2 ( 7 , triclinic, P1, Z = 1), and [DA18C6]2⊕ · 2 N(Q‐4‐Cl)2 · 2 CH2Cl2 ( 8 , monoclinic, P21/c, Z = 2). Structures 2 – 4 represent the energetically favoured, extended or open conformation of the CO2S–N–SO2C bridge (crystallographic twofold symmetry for 2 , pseudo‐C2 symmetry for 3 and 4 ), whereas in 6 – 8 the anions adopt the folded or hair‐pin conformation (pseudo‐Cs symmetry), which is a prerequisite in lamellar structures. The interdependence of bond lengths and angles within N(SO2C)2 and HN(SO2C)2 moieties is substantiated. In 6 – 8 , the [DA18C6]2⊕ macrocycles exhibit the well‐known “biangular” Ci conformation and are connected to two symmetry related anions by N–H…O hydrogen bonds; structures 4 and 3 respectively display O–H…N bonded cation‐anion pairs or C(O)–O–H…O=S mediated anion chains. Weak hydrogen bonds C–H…O are observed in all the crystal packings. The hitherto unreported amines HN(Q‐4‐X)2, where X is C(O)OMe or C(O)NH2, were obtained by treating the corresponding dicarboxylic acid with OSCl2 to form the bis(acyl chloride) and subjecting the latter to methanolysis or ammonolysis.  相似文献

Structures of Ionic Di(arenesulfonyl)amides. 8. Sodium Bis[di(4‐fluorobenzenesulfonyl)amido‐N]argentate: A Heterobimetallic Complex Exhibiting a Lamellar Layer Structure and Short C–H···F–C Interlayer Contacts Na[Ag{N(SO2–C6H4–4‐F)2}2] (monoclinic, C2/c, Z′ = 1/2) is the first heterobimetallic representative in a well‐documented class of layered inorgano‐organic solids where the inorganic component is comprised of metal cations and coordinating N(SO2)2 groups and the outer regions are formed by the aromatic rings of the di(arenesulfonyl)amide entities, which adopt a folded conformation approximating to mirror symmetry. The inversion‐symmetric bis(amido)argentate unit of the novel compound displays an exactly linear N–Ag–N core and short Ag–N bonds of 217.55(17) pm (at ?140 °C); the coordination number of the silver ion is extended to 2 + 6 by four internal and two external Ag···O secondary interactions. The polar lamella is constructed from rows of Na+ ions located on twofold axes, alternating with bis(amido)argentate strands reinforced by Ag···O interactions and weak C–H···O hydrogen bonds; Na+ is embedded in an O6 environment. Adjacent layers are cross‐linked via short C–H···F–C contacts suggestive of weak hydrogen bonding enhanced by cooperativity.  相似文献

Polysulfonylamines. CLXXXIV. Crystal Structures of Molecular Triphenylphosphanegold(I) Di(4‐X‐benzenesulfonyl)amides: Isomorphism and Close Packing (X = Me, F, Cl, NO2) vs. Structure‐Determining C–X···Au/O Halogen Bonds (X = Br, I) In order to study the structure‐determining influence that halogen bonding can exert during the course of crystallization, solid‐state structures are compared for two previously reported and four new molecular gold(I) complexes of the type Ph3P–Au–N(SO2–C6H4–4‐X)2, each featuring linear P,N coordination at gold and two phenyl rings with varying p‐substituents X = Me, F, Cl, NO2, Br or I. The compounds were synthesized by reactions of Ph3PAuX (X = Cl or I) with the corresponding silver di(arenesulfonyl)amides, crystallized from dichloromethane, and characterized by low‐temperature X‐ray diffraction. The Me, F, Cl and NO2 congeners are isomorphic and crystallize without solvent inclusion in the chiral orthorhombic space group P212121 (Z′ = 1). These structures are governed by isotropic close packing via three‐dimensional 21 symmetry, incidentally supported by an invariant set of C–H···O=S hydrogen bonds, CH/π interactions and π/π stackings of aromatic rings; in particular, the hard halogen atoms of the fluoro and the chloro homologues are not involved in X···Au, X···O or X···X interactions. The higher homologues, with soft halogen atoms, were obtained as a dichloromethane hemisolvate for X = Br and a corresponding monosolvate for X = I, each triclinic in the centrosymmetric space group (Z′ = 1). Here, the primary structural effect is implemented by infinite chains in which translation‐related molecules are connected for the bromo compound by a bifurcated Au···Br(2)···O=S interaction, for the iodo congener by an equivalent Au···I(2)···O=S interaction and a short halogen bond C–I(1)···O=S. The latter bond is stronger than a similar C–Br···O=S interaction and induces a conformational adjustment of the (CSO2)2N group from the normal twofold symmetry in the bromo compound to an energetically unfavourable asymmetric form in the iodo homologue. In both cases, pairs of antiparallel molecular catemers are associated into strands via sixfold phenyl embraces, the strands are stacked to form layers, the solvent molecules are intercalated between adjacent layers, and the crystal packings are reinforced by a number of C–H···O=S hydrogen bonds and interactions of aromatic rings.  相似文献

Zinc thiocyanate complexes have been found to be biologically active compounds. Zinc is also an essential element for the normal function of most organisms and is the main constituent in a number of metalloenzyme proteins. Pyrimidine and aminopyrimidine derivatives are biologically very important as they are components of nucleic acids. Thiocyanate ions can bridge metal ions by employing both their N and S atoms for coordination. They can play an important role in assembling different coordination structures and yield an interesting variety of one‐, two‐ and three‐dimensional polymeric metal–thiocyanate supramolecular frameworks. The structure of a new zinc thiocyanate–aminopyrimidine organic–inorganic compound, (C6H9ClN3)2[Zn(NCS)4]·2C6H8ClN3·2H2O, is reported. The asymmetric unit consist of half a tetrathiocyanatozinc(II) dianion, an uncoordinated 4‐amino‐5‐chloro‐2,6‐dimethylpyrimidinium cation, a 4‐amino‐5‐chloro‐2,6‐dimethylpyrimidine molecule and a water molecule. The ZnII atom adopts a distorted tetrahedral coordination geometry and is coordinated by four N atoms from the thiocyanate anions. The ZnII atom is located on a special position (twofold axis of symmetry). The pyrimidinium cation and the pyrimidine molecule are not coordinated to the ZnII atom, but are hydrogen bonded to the uncoordinated water molecules and the metal‐coordinated thiocyanate ligands. The pyrimidine molecules and pyrimidinium cations also form base‐pair‐like structures with an R22(8) ring motif via N—H…N hydrogen bonds. The crystal structure is further stabilized by intermolecular N—H…O, O—H…S, N—H…S and O—H…N hydrogen bonds, by intramolecular N—H…Cl and C—H…Cl hydrogen bonds, and also by π–π stacking interactions.  相似文献

Weak interactions between organic molecules are important in solid‐state structures where the sum of the weaker interactions support the overall three‐dimensional crystal structure. The sp‐C—H…N hydrogen‐bonding interaction is strong enough to promote the deliberate cocrystallization of a series of diynes with a series of dipyridines. It is also possible that a similar series of cocrystals could be formed between molecules containing a terminal alkyne and molecules which contain carbonyl O atoms as the potential hydrogen‐bond acceptor. I now report the crystal structure of two cocrystals that support this hypothesis. The 1:1 cocrystal of 1,4‐diethynylbenzene with 1,3‐diacetylbenzene, C10H6·C10H10O2, (1), and the 1:1 cocrystal of 1,4‐diethynylbenzene with benzene‐1,4‐dicarbaldehyde, C10H6·C8H6O2, (2), are presented. In both cocrystals, a strong nonconventional ethynyl–carbonyl sp‐C—H…O hydrogen bond is observed between the components. In cocrystal (1), the C—H…O hydrogen‐bond angle is 171.8 (16)° and the H…O and C…O hydrogen‐bond distances are 2.200 (19) and 3.139 (2) Å, respectively. In cocrystal (2), the C—H…O hydrogen‐bond angle is 172.5 (16)° and the H…O and C…O hydrogen‐bond distances are 2.25 (2) and 3.203 (2) Å, respectively.  相似文献

In the present work, the two‐dimensional (2D) polymer poly[[μ4‐2‐(4‐nitrobenzenesulfonamido)benzoato‐κ4O1:O1:O1′:N6]silver(I)] (AgL), [Ag(C13H9N2O6S)]n, was obtained from 2‐(4‐nitrobenzenesulfonamido)benzoic acid (HL), C13H10N2O6S. FT–IR, 1H and 13C{1H} NMR spectroscopic analyses were used to characterize both compounds. The crystal structures of HL and AgL were determined by single‐crystal X‐ray diffraction. In the structure of HL, O—H…O hydrogen bonds between neighbouring molecules result in the formation of dimers, while the silver(I) complex shows polymerization associated with the O atoms of three distinct deprotonated ligands (L?). Thus, the structure of the Ag complex can be considered as a coordination polymer consisting of a one‐dimensional linear chain, constructed by carboxylate bridging groups, running parallel to the b axis. Neighbouring polymeric chains are further bridged by Ag—C monohapto contacts, resulting in a 2D framework. Fingerprint analysis of the Hirshfeld surfaces show that O…H/H…O hydrogen bonds are responsible for the most significant contacts in the crystal packing of HL and AgL, followed by the H…H and O…C/C…O interactions. The Ag…Ag, Ag…O/O…Ag and Ag…C/C…Ag interactions in the Hirshfeld surface represent 12.1% of the total interactions in the crystal packing. Studies of the interactions of the compounds with human serum albumin (HSA) indicated that both HL and AgL interact with HSA.  相似文献

The title compound, {[Ag(C2H8N2)](C7H4FO2)·H2O}n, has been synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis and single‐crystal X‐ray diffraction. The Ag atom is bicoordinated in a linear configuration by two N atoms from two symmetry‐related ethylenediamine ligands, giving linear polymeric chains with [–Ag—N—C—C—N–]n backbones running parallel to the b axis. In the crystal packing, these linear chains are interconnected by N—H⋯O and O—H⋯O hydrogen bonds, and by weak Ag⋯OW interactions, forming layers parallel to the ab plane.  相似文献

From complex 3 b a single X‐ray crystal structure analysis was carried out. Mononuclear 3 b crystallizes in the monoclinic space group P21/c with the cell parameters a = 14.504(6), b = 11.034(3), c = 17.604(5) Å, β = 102.86(4)°; V = 2746.6(16) Å3; Z = 4; 2953 observed unique reflections, R1 = 0.0805. Complex 3 b consists of monomeric sub‐units with a planar T‐shaped arrangement formed by the atoms Ag1, N1, P1 as well as Br1, whereby the P1–Ag1–Br1 array is almost linear orientated.  相似文献

Polysulfonyl Amines. XL. Preparation of Silver(I) Disulfonylamide Acetonitrile Complexes. Characterization of Tetraacetonitrilesilver(I) bis(dimesylamido)argentate(I) and (1,1,3,3-Tetraoxo-1,3,2-benzodithiazolido)acetonitrilesilver(I) by X-Ray Diffractometry and Thermal Analysis The following silver(I) disulfonylamides were prepared for the first time or by improved procedures: AgN(SO2CH3)2 ( 2a ); AgN(SO2C6H4-4-X)2 with X = F ( 2b ), Cl ( 2c ), Br ( 2d ), CH3 ( 2e ); silver(I) 1,2-benzenedisulfonimide AgN(SO2)2C6H4 ( 2f ). With acetonitrile, the salts 2a to 2e form (1/2) complexes AgN(SO2R)· 2 CH3CN ( 4a to 4e ), whereas 2f gives the (1/1) complex AgN(SO2)2C6H · CH3CN ( 4f ). The crystallographic data (at - 95°C) for the title compounds 4a and 4f are: 4a , space group C2/c, a = 1 967.6(4), b = 562.2(1), c = 2 353.0(5) pm, β = 102.21(2)°, V = 2.5440 nm3, Z = 4, Dx = 1.891 Mg m?3; 4f , space group P21/m, a = 741.5(3), b = 980.4(4), c = 756.6(3) pm, β = 99.28(2)°, V = 0.5428 nm3, Z = 2, Dx = 2.246 Mg m?3. 4a forms an ionic crystal [Ag(NCCH3)4][Ag{N(SO2CH3)2}2]? with a tetrahedrally coordinated silver atom (lying on a twofold axis) in the cation (225.3/225.7 pm for the two independent Ag? N distances, N? Ag? N 106.2—114.5°) and a linear-dicoordinated silver atom in the centrosymmetric anion (Ag? N 213.9 pm, two intraionic secondary Ag…O contacts 303.4 pm). 4f consists of uncharged molecules [C6H4(SO2)2N1AgN2CCH3] with crystallographic mirror symmetry (Ag? N1 218.8, Ag? N2 216.1 pm, N1? Ag? N2 174.3°), associated into strands by intermolecular secondary silver-oxygen contacts (Ag…O 273.8 pm, O…Ag…O 175.6, N? Ag…O 91.9/88.2°). The thermochemical behaviour of 4f was investigated using thermogravimetry, differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), time- and temperature-resolved X-ray diffractometry (TXRD), and solution calorimetry. The desolvation process occurs in the temperature range from 60 to 200°C and appears to be complex, although no crystalline intermediate could be detected. The desolvation enthalpy at 298 K was found to be + 26.8(4) kJ mol?1. 4a is desolvated in two steps at - 15 to 60°C and 60 to 95°C (DSC), suggesting the formation of AgN(SO2CH3) · CH3CN as an intermediate.  相似文献

The structures, energies, atomic chaiges and IR spectra of complexes (CH2)2O…XY (X, Y = H, F, Cl, Br, and I) have been examined by means of ab initio molecular orbital theory at the second-order level of Moller-Plesset perturbation correction. It is found that the hydrogen bond O…H-X is non-linear. The attraction between X and the H atoms in oxirane ring causes O…H-X bond bending. The hydrogen bond slighdy weakens the bond strength of C-O, and leads the bending and stretching mode of IR to shift to the red. The calculation results show that there is no evidence of a significant extent of proton transfer to give (CH2)2OH …X- in the isolated complexes.  相似文献

Polysulfonylamines. CXXIV. Preparation of Organylmercury(II) Di(methanesulfonyl)amides and Crystal Structure of Ph–Hg–N(SO2Me)2 Four N,N‐disulfonylated organylmercury(II) amides R–Hg–N(SO2Me)2, where R is Me, iPr, Me3SiCH2 or Ph, were obtained on treating the appropriate chlorides RHgCl with AgN(SO2Me)2, and characterized by 1H and 13C NMR spectra. In the crystal structure of the phenyl compound (orthorhombic, space group Pbca, Z = 8, X‐ray diffraction at –95 °C), the molecule exhibits a covalent and significantly bent C–Hg–N grouping [bond angle 172.7(3)°; Hg–C 204.0(8), Hg–N 209.1(7) pm]. One sulfonyl oxygen atom forms a short intramolecular Hg…O contact [296.1(5) pm] and simultaneously catenates glide‐plane related molecules via a second Hg…O interaction 297.6(5) pm], thus conferring upon HgII the effective coordination number 4 and a geometrically irregular coordination polyhedron (bond angles from 173 to 54°).  相似文献

Two series of a total of ten cocrystals involving 4‐amino‐5‐chloro‐2,6‐dimethylpyrimidine with various carboxylic acids have been prepared and characterized by single‐crystal X‐ray diffraction. The pyrimidine unit used for the cocrystals offers two ring N atoms (positions N1 and N3) as proton‐accepting sites. Depending upon the site of protonation, two types of cations are possible [Rajam et al. (2017). Acta Cryst. C 73 , 862–868]. In a parallel arrangement, two series of cocrystals are possible depending upon the hydrogen bonding of the carboxyl group with position N1 or N3. In one series of cocrystals, i.e. 4‐amino‐5‐chloro‐2,6‐dimethylpyrimidine–3‐bromothiophene‐2‐carboxylic acid (1/1), 1 , 4‐amino‐5‐chloro‐2,6‐dimethylpyrimidine–5‐chlorothiophene‐2‐carboxylic acid (1/1), 2 , 4‐amino‐5‐chloro‐2,6‐dimethylpyrimidine–2,4‐dichlorobenzoic acid (1/1), 3 , and 4‐amino‐5‐chloro‐2,6‐dimethylpyrimidine–2‐aminobenzoic acid (1/1), 4 , the carboxyl hydroxy group (–OH) is hydrogen bonded to position N1 (O—H…N1) of the corresponding pyrimidine unit (single point supramolecular synthon). The inversion‐related stacked pyrimidines are doubly bridged by the carboxyl groups via N—H…O and O—H…N hydrogen bonds to form a large cage‐like tetrameric unit with an R42(20) graph‐set ring motif. These tetrameric units are further connected via base pairing through a pair of N—H…N hydrogen bonds, generating R22(8) motifs (supramolecular homosynthon). In the other series of cocrystals, i.e. 4‐amino‐5‐chloro‐2,6‐dimethylpyrimidine–5‐methylthiophene‐2‐carboxylic acid (1/1), 5 , 4‐amino‐5‐chloro‐2,6‐dimethylpyrimidine–benzoic acid (1/1), 6 , 4‐amino‐5‐chloro‐2,6‐dimethylpyrimidine–2‐methylbenzoic acid (1/1), 7 , 4‐amino‐5‐chloro‐2,6‐dimethylpyrimidine–3‐methylbenzoic acid (1/1), 8 , 4‐amino‐5‐chloro‐2,6‐dimethylpyrimidine–4‐methylbenzoic acid (1/1), 9 , and 4‐amino‐5‐chloro‐2,6‐dimethylpyrimidine–4‐aminobenzoic acid (1/1), 10 , the carboxyl group interacts with position N3 and the adjacent 4‐amino group of the corresponding pyrimidine ring via O—H…N and N—H…O hydrogen bonds to generate the robust R22(8) supramolecular heterosynthon. These heterosynthons are further connected by N—H…N hydrogen‐bond interactions in a linear fashion to form a chain‐like arrangement. In cocrystal 1 , a Br…Br halogen bond is present, in cocrystals 2 and 3 , Cl…Cl halogen bonds are present, and in cocrystals 5 , 6 and 7 , Cl…O halogen bonds are present. In all of the ten cocrystals, π–π stacking interactions are observed.  相似文献

Reaction of biotin {C10H16N2O3S, HL; systematic name: 5‐[(3aS,4S,6aR)‐2‐oxohexahydro‐1H‐thieno[3,4‐d]imidazol‐4‐yl]pentanoic acid} with silver acetate and a few drops of aqueous ammonia leads to the deprotonation of the carboxylic acid group and the formation of a neutral chiral two‐dimensional polymer network, poly[[{μ3‐5‐[(3aS,4S,6aR)‐2‐oxohexahydro‐1H‐thieno[3,4‐d]imidazol‐4‐yl]pentanoato}silver(I)] trihydrate], {[Ag(C10H15N2O3S)]·3H2O}n or {[Ag(L)]·3H2O}n, (I). Here, the AgI cations are pentacoordinate, coordinated by four biotin anions via two S atoms and a ureido O atom, and by two carboxylate O atoms of the same molecule. The reaction of biotin with silver salts of potentially coordinating anions, viz. nitrate and perchlorate, leads to the formation of the chiral one‐dimensional coordination polymers catena‐poly[[bis[nitratosilver(I)]‐bis{μ3‐5‐[(3aS,4S,6aR)‐2‐oxohexahydro‐1H‐thieno[3,4‐d]imidazol‐4‐yl]pentanoato}] monohydrate], {[Ag2(NO3)2(C10H16N2O3S)2]·H2O}n or {[Ag2(NO3)2(HL)2]·H2O}n, (II), and catena‐poly[bis[perchloratosilver(I)]‐bis{μ3‐5‐[(3aS,4S,6aR)‐2‐oxohexahydro‐1H‐thieno[3,4‐d]imidazol‐4‐yl]pentanoato}], [Ag2(ClO4)2(C10H16N2O3S)2]n or [Ag2(ClO4)2(HL)2]n, (III), respectively. In (II), the AgI cations are again pentacoordinated by three biotin molecules via two S atoms and a ureido O atom, and by two O atoms of a nitrate anion. In (I), (II) and (III), the AgI cations are bridged by an S atom and are coordinated by the ureido O atom and the O atoms of the anions. The reaction of biotin with silver salts of noncoordinating anions, viz. hexafluoridophosphate (PF6) and hexafluoridoantimonate (SbF6), gave the chiral double‐stranded helical structures catena‐poly[[silver(I)‐bis{μ2‐5‐[(3aS,4S,6aR)‐2‐oxohexahydro‐1H‐thieno[3,4‐d]imidazol‐4‐yl]pentanoato}] hexafluoridophosphate], {[Ag(C10H16N2O3S)2](PF6)}n or {[Ag(HL)2](PF6)}n, (IV), and catena‐poly[[[{5‐[(3aS,4S,6aR)‐2‐oxohexahydro‐1H‐thieno[3,4‐d]imidazol‐4‐yl]pentanoato}silver(I)]‐μ2‐{5‐[(3aS,4S,6aR)‐2‐oxohexahydro‐1H‐thieno[3,4‐d]imidazol‐4‐yl]pentanoato}] hexafluoridoantimonate], {[Ag(C10H16N2O3S)2](SbF6)}n or {[Ag(HL)2](SbF6)}n, (V), respectively. In (IV), the AgI cations have a tetrahedral coordination environment, coordinated by four biotin molecules via two S atoms, and by two carboxy O atoms of two different molecules. In (V), however, the AgI cations have a trigonal coordination environment, coordinated by three biotin molecules via two S atoms and one carboxy O atom. In (IV) and (V), neither the ureido O atom nor the F atoms of the anion are involved in coordination. Hence, the coordination environment of the AgI cations varies from AgS2O trigonal to AgS2O2 tetrahedral to AgS2O3 square‐pyramidal. The conformation of the valeric acid side chain varies from extended to twisted and this, together with the various anions present, has an influence on the solid‐state structures of the resulting compounds. The various O—H...O and N—H...O hydrogen bonds present result in the formation of chiral two‐ and three‐dimensional networks, which are further stabilized by C—H...X (X = O, F, S) interactions, and by N—H...F interactions for (IV) and (V). Biotin itself has a twisted valeric acid side chain which is involved in an intramolecular C—H...S hydrogen bond. The tetrahydrothiophene ring has an envelope conformation with the S atom as the flap. It is displaced from the mean plane of the four C atoms (plane B) by 0.8789 (6) Å, towards the ureido ring (plane A). Planes A and B are inclined to one another by 58.89 (14)°. In the crystal, molecules are linked via O—H...O and N—H...O hydrogen bonds, enclosing R22(8) loops, forming zigzag chains propagating along [001]. These chains are linked via N—H...O hydrogen bonds, and C—H...S and C—H...O interactions forming a three‐dimensional network. The absolute configurations of biotin and complexes (I), (II), (IV) and (V) were confirmed crystallographically by resonant scattering.  相似文献

The title complex, [CuCl(C4H8OS)]n, contains infinite spiral (CuS)n chains linked by bridging Cl atoms into layers. The Cl atoms do not form polymeric fragments with CuI, but combine into isolated centrosymmetric Cu2Cl2 units. The compound is non‐isomorphous with the Br‐containing analogue, which contains Cu8S8 rings linked by Br atoms into chains. The O atom of the 1,4‐oxathiane molecule does not realize its coordination abilities in the known copper(I)–halide complexes, while in copper(II)–halide complexes, oxathiane is coordinated via the S and O atoms. This falls into a pattern of the preferred interactions, viz. weak acid (CuI atom) with weak base (S atom) and harder acid (CuII atom) with harder base (O atom).  相似文献

Metal Salts of Benzene‐1,2‐di(sulfonyl)amine. 3. Crystal Structures of the Free Protonated Ligand HN(SO2)2C6H4 (= HZ) and the Lamellar Cesium Salt CsZ Benzene‐1,2‐di(sulfonyl)amine ( 1 ; HZ), known since 1921, is a very strong NH acid and readily reacts with aqueous CsCl to form crystalline CsZ ( 3 ). For both compounds, crystal structures were determined by X‐ray diffraction at –100 °C ( 1 : monoclinic, space group P21/n, Z = 4; 3 : orthorhombic, Cmcm, Z = 4). In 1 , the five‐membered 1,3,2‐dithiazole heterocycle possesses an envelope conformation, the N atom lying 29.4(2) pm outside the mean plane of the S–C–C–S moiety [S–N 167.06(15) and 167.53(15) pm, S–N–S 114.57(8)°]. In the crystal, HZ molecules are linked into chains by a conventional N–H…O hydrogen bond and further associated via four weak C–H…O bonds to form a three‐dimensional network. The conjugate Z ion in the layered structure of the salt 3 displays crystallographic C2v symmetry, leading to an ideally planar bicyclic framework [S–N 158.29(15) pm, S–N–S 116.53(17)°]. Each of the five electronegative atoms bridges two cations, Cs attaining a tenfold coordination by forming bonds to two (O,N,O)‐chelating and four κ1O‐monodentate ligands. The Cs–O/N interactions create a polar [CsN(SO2)2] lamella, which is lipophilically wrapped by parallel benzo rings protruding perpendicularly from its surfaces. In contrast to the previously reported lamellar metal di(arenesulfonyl)amides, the aromatic groups pertaining to adjacent layers of 3 are seen to be markedly interlocked.  相似文献

Structures of Ionic Di(arenesulfonyl)amides. 6. Limits to the Formation of Lamellar Metal Di(arenesulfonyl)amides: Three Lithium Complexes and One Cadmium Complex According to low‐temperature X‐ray studies, the new compounds LiN(SO2C6H4‐4‐X)2 · 2 H2O, where X = COOH ( 1 ) or COOMe ( 2 ), LiN(SO2C6H4‐4‐CONH2)2 · 4 H2O ( 3 ), and Cd[N(SO2C6H4‐4‐COOH)2]2 · 8 H2O ( 4 ) crystallize in the triclinic space group P1 ( 1 – 3 : Z′ = 1; 4 : Z′ = 1/2, Cd2+ on an inversion centre) and display almost perfectly folded anions approximating to mirror symmetry. The lithium ions in 1 – 3 have distorted tetrahedral environments respectively set up by two O=S groups drawn from different anions and two water molecules, two O=S groups of a chelating anion and two water molecules, or one O=C group and three water ligands, whereas the cation of 4 is fully hydrated to form an octahedral [Cd(H2O)6]2+ complex. The structure refinements for 3 and 4 were marred by positional disorder of the non‐coordinating N(SO2)2 moieties. Compounds 1 and 4 extend a previously described series of lamellar metal di(arenesulfonyl)amides where the two‐dimensional inorganic component is comprised of cations, N(SO2)2 groups and water molecules and the outer regions are formed by the 4‐substituted phenyl rings. Both crystal packings are governed by self‐assembly of parallel layers through exhaustive hydrogen bonding between carboxylic groups, and there is good evidence that the labile inorganic networks, generated via Li–O and hydrogen bonds in 1 or solely hydrogen bonds in 4 , are efficiently stabilized by the strong cyclic (COOH)2 motifs within the interlayer regions. In the absence of these, the lamellar architecture is seen to collapse in 2 and 3 , where the carboxyl groups are replaced by methoxycarbonyl or carbamoyl functions and the inorganic components are segregated in parallel tunnels pervading the anion lattices.  相似文献

It has been observed that when electron‐rich naphthyl rings are present in chalcones they can participate in π–π stacking interactions, and this can play an important role in orientating inhibitors within the active sites of enzymes, while chalcones containing heterocyclic substituents additionally exhibit fungistatic and fungicidal properties. With these considerations in mind, three new chalcones containing 2‐naphthyl substituents were prepared. 3‐(4‐Fluorophenyl)‐1‐(naphthalen‐2‐yl)prop‐2‐en‐1‐one, C19H13FO, (I), crystallizes with Z ′ = 2 in the space group P and the four molecules in the unit cell adopt an arrangement which resembles that in the space group P 21/a . Although 3‐(4‐bromophenyl)‐1‐(naphthalen‐2‐yl)prop‐2‐en‐1‐one, C19H13BrO, (II), with Z ′ = 1, is not isostructural with (I), the molecules of (I) and (II) adopt very similar conformations. In 1‐(naphthalen‐2‐yl)‐3‐(thiophen‐2‐yl)prop‐2‐en‐1‐one, C17H12OS, (III), the thiophene unit is disordered over two sets of atomic sites, with occupancies of 0.780 (3) and 0.220 (3), which are related by a near 180° rotation of the thiophene unit about its exocyclic C—C bond. The molecules of compound (I) are linked by three independent C—H…π(arene) hydrogen bonds to form centrosymmetric octamolecular aggregates, whereas the molecules of compound (II) are linked into molecular ladders by a combination of C—H…π(arene) and C—Br…π(arene) interactions, and those of compound (III) are linked into centrosymmetric dimers by C—H…π(thiophene) interactions.  相似文献
