Pr4S3[Si2O7] and Pr3Cl3[Si2O7]: Derivatives of Praseodymium Disilicate Modified by Soft Foreign Anions For synthesizing both the disilicate derivatives Pr4S3[Si2O7] and Pr3Cl3[Si2O7], Pr, Pr6O11 and SiO2 are brought to reaction with S and PrCl3, respectively, in suitable molar ratios (850 °C, 7 d) in evacuated silica tubes. By using NaCl as a flux, Pr4S3[Si2O7] crystallizes as pale green, transparent single crystals (tetragonal, I41/amd, a = 1201.6(1), c = 1412.0(2) pm, Z = 8) with the appearance of slightly compressed octahedra. On the other hand, Pr3Cl3[Si2O7] emerges as pale green, transparent platelets and crystallizes monoclinically (space group: P21, a = 530.96(6), b = 1200.2(1), c = 783.11(8) pm, β = 109.07(1)°, Z = 2). In both crystal structures ecliptically conformed [Si2O7]6– units of two corner‐linked [SiO4] tetrahedra with Si–O–Si bridging angles of 131° in the sulfide and 148° in the chloride disilicate are present. In Pr4S3[Si2O7] both crystallographically independent Pr3+ cations show coordination numbers of 8 + 1 (5 S2– and 3 + 1 O2–) and 9 (3 S2– and 6 O2–). For Pr1, Pr2 and Pr3 in Pr3Cl3[Si2O7] coordination numbers of 10 (5 Cl and 5 O2–) and 9 (2 ×; 4 Cl and 5 O2– or 3 Cl and 6 O2–, respectively) occur.  相似文献

Er4F2[Si2O7][SiO4]: The First Rare‐Earth Fluoride Silicate with Two Different Silicate Anions By the reaction of Er2O3 with ErF3 and SiO2 at 700 °C in sealed tantalum capsules using CsCl as flux (molar ratio 5 : 2 : 3 : 20), the compound Er4F2[Si2O7][SiO4] (triclinic, P 1; a = 648.51(5), b = 660.34(5), c = 1324.43(9) pm, α = 87.449(8), β = 85.793(8), γ = 60.816(7)°; Vm = 148.69(1) cm3/mol, Z = 2) is obtained as pale pink platelets or lath‐shaped single crystals. It consists of disilicate anions [Si2O7]6– in eclipsed conformation, ortho‐silicate anions [SiO4]4– and isolated [Er4F2]10+ units comprising two edge‐shared [Er3F] triangles. Er3+ is surrounded by 7 + 1 (Er1) or 7 (Er2–Er4) anionic neighbors, respectively, of which two are F in the case of Er1 and Er4 but only one for Er2 and Er3. The other ligands recruit from oxygen atoms of the different oxosilicate groups. The crystal structure can be described as simple rowing up of the three building groups ([SiO4]4–, [Er4F2]10+, and [Si2O7]6–) along [001]. The necessity of a large excess of fluoride for a successful synthesis of Er4F2[Si2O7][SiO4] will be discussed.  相似文献

I‐Type La2Si2O7: According to La6[Si4O13][SiO4]2 not a Real Lanthanum Disilicate In attempts to synthesize lanthanum telluride silicate La2Te[SiO4] (from La, TeO2, SiO2 and CsCl, molar ratio: 1 : 1: 1 : 20, 950 °C, 7 d) or fluoride‐rich lanthanum fluoride silicates (from LaF3, La2O3, SiO2 and CsCl, molar ratio: 5 : 2 : 3 : 17, 700 °C, 7 d) in evacuated silica tubes, colourless lath‐shaped single crystals of hitherto unknown I‐type La2Si2O7 (monoclinic, P21/c; a = 726.14(5), b = 2353.2(2), c = 1013.11(8) pm, β = 90.159(7)°) were found in the CsCl‐flux melts. Nevertheless, this new modification of lanthanum disilicate does not contain any discrete disilicate groups [Si2O7]6‐ but formally three of them are dismutated into one catena‐tetrasilicate ([Si4O13]10‐ unit of four vertex‐linked [SiO4]4‐ tetrahedra) and two ortho‐silicate anions (isolated [SiO4]4‐ tetrahedra) according to La6[Si4O13][SiO4]2. This compound can be described as built up of alternating layers of these [SiO4]4‐ and the horseshoe‐shaped [Si4O13]10‐ anions along [010]. Between and within the layers the high‐coordinated La 3+ cations (CN = 9 ‐ 11) are localized. The close structural relationship to the borosilicates M3[BSiO6][SiO4](M = Ce ‐ Eu) is discussed and structural comparisons with other catena‐tetrasilicates are presented.  相似文献

New Representatives of the Er6[Si11N20]O Structure Type. High‐Temperature Synthesis and Single‐Crystal Structure Refinement of Ln(6+x/3)[Si(11–y)AlyN(20+x–y)]O(1–x+y) with Ln = Nd, Er, Yb, Dy and 0 ≤ x ≤ 3, 0 ≤ y ≤ 3 According to the general formula Ln(6+x/3)[Si(11–y)AlyN(20+x–y)]O(1–x+y) (0 ≤ x ≤ 3, 0 ≤ y ≤ 3) four nitridosilicates, namely Er6[Si11N20]O, Yb6.081[Si11N20.234]O0.757, Dy0.33Sm6[Si11N20]N, and Nd7[Si8Al3N20]O were synthesized in a radiofrequency furnace at temperatures between 1300 and 1650 °C. The homeotypic crystal structures of all four compounds were determined by single‐crystal X‐ray diffraction. The nitridosilicates are trigonal with the following lattice constants: Er6[Si11N20]O: a = 978.8(4) pm, c = 1058.8(3) pm; Yb6.081[Si11N20.243]O0.757: a = 974.9(1) pm, c = 1055.7(2) pm; Dy0.33Sm6[Si11N20]N: a = 989.8(1) pm, c = 1078.7(1) pm; Nd7[Si8Al3N20]O: a = 1004.25(9) pm, c = 1095.03(12) pm. The crystal structures were solved and refined in the space group P31c with Z = 2. The compounds contain three‐dimensional networks built up by corner sharing SiN4 and AlN4 tetrahedra, respectively. The Ln3+ and the “isolated” O2– ions are situated in the voids of the structures. According to Ln(6+x/3)[Si(11–y)AlyN(20+x–y)]O(1–x+y) an extension of the Er6[Si11N20]O structure type has been found.  相似文献

La3F3[Si3O9]: The First Fluoride Silicate in the Ternary System LaF3/La2O3/SiO2 By reacting La2O3 with LaF3 and SiO2 (silica gel) using CsCl as a flux (molar ratio 1 : 1 : 3 : 6; 700 °C, 21 d) it was possible to obtain single crystals of La3F3[Si3O9] (hexagonal, space group: P 6 2c (no. 190); a = 708.32(3), c = 1089.48(6) pm; Z = 2) as colourless, hexagonal platelets. The crystal structure comprises discrete cyclic [Si3O9]6– anions of three corner-linked [SiO4] tetrahedra along with a graphite-like network of the composition {[LaF3/3]2+}. Shorter reaction times even produced single crystals of tysonite-type LaF3 (trigonal, space group: P 3 c1 (no. 165); a = 718.80(6), c = 735.94(6) pm; Z = 6) on which a X-ray structure analysis was achieved, too. The structures of both compounds, each of which show an elevenfold anionic coordination (CN = 9 + 2) for the La3+ cations, are compared. The influence of the reactivity of the educts and the temperature on the reaction as well as the difficulties in the X-ray differentiation of fluorine and oxygen will be discussed.  相似文献

The binary silicides Eu5Si3 and Yb3Si5 were prepared from the elements in sealed tantalum tubes and their crystal structures were determined from single crystal X-ray data: I4/mcm, a = 791.88(7) pm, c = 1532.2(2) pm, Z = 4, wR2 = 0.0545, 600 F2 values, 16 variables for Eu5Si3 (Cr5B3-type) and P62m, a = 650.8(2) pm, c = 409.2(1) pm, Z = 1, wR2 = 0.0427, 375 F2 values, 12 variables for Yb3Si5 (Th3Pd5 type). The new silicide Eu5Si3 contains isolated silicon atoms and silicon pairs with a Si–Si distance of 242.4 pm. This silicide may be described as a Zintl phase with the formula [5 Eu2+]10+[Si]4–[Si2]6–. The silicon atoms in Yb3Si5 form a two-dimensional planar network with two-connected and three-connected silicon atoms. According to the Zintl-Klemm concept the formula of homogeneous mixed-valent Yb3Si5 may to a first approximation be written as [3 Yb]8+[2 Si]2–[3 Si2–]6–. Magnetic susceptibility investigations of Eu5Si3 show Curie-Weiss behaviour above 100 K with a magnetic moment of 7.85(5) μB which is close to the free ion value of 7.94 μB for Eu2+. Chemical bonding in Eu5Si3 and Yb3Si5 was investigated by semi-empirical band structure calculations using an extended Hückel hamiltonian. The strongest bonding interactions are found for the Si–Si contacts followed by Eu–Si and Yb–Si, respectively. The main bonding characteristics in Eu5Si3 are antibonding Si12-π* and bonding Eu–Si1 states at the Fermi level. The same holds true for the silicon polyanion in Yb3Si5.  相似文献

Sm4S3[Si2O7] and NaSm9S2[SiO4]6: Two Sulfide Silicates with Trivalent Samarium The sulfide silicates Sm4S3[Si2O7] and NaSm9S2[SiO4]6 are obtained as light yellow transparent crystals by the reaction of Sm, Sm2O3, S, and SiO2 with fluxing SmCl3 or NaCl, respectively, in suitable molar ratios in fused evacuated silica tubes (850 °C, 7 d). Tetragonal crystals of Sm4S3[Si2O7] (I41/amd; Z = 8; a = 1186.4(1); c = 1387.0(2) pm) with ecliptically conformed [Si2O7]6–‐groups of corner sharing [SiO4]‐tetrahedra are formed. These double tetrahedra as well the sulfide anions (S2–) coordinate two crystallographically independent metal cations. They provide coordination numbers of 8 + 1 (5 S2– and 3 + 1 O2–) for Sm1 and 9 (3 S2– and 6 O2–) for Sm2. NaSm9S2[SiO4]6 crystallizes hexagonally (P63/m; Z = 1; a = 975.32(9); c = 676.46(7) pm) in a modified bromapatite‐type structure. The coordination spheres about the two crystallographically different Sm3+ cations are built up by oxygen atoms of the orthosilicate units ([SiO4]4–) and sulfide anions (S2–). As a result, Sm1 and Sm2 have coordination numbers of 9 and 8, respectively. Na+ and (Sm1)3+ occupy the position 4 f in a molar ratio of 1 : 3 whereas the lower coordinated (Sm2)3+ occupies the 6 h position.  相似文献

The Lanthanum Dodecahydro‐closo‐Dodecaborate Hydrate [La(H2O)9]2[B12H12]3·15 H2O and its Oxonium‐Chloride Derivative [La(H2O)9](H3O)Cl2[B12H12]·H2O By neutralization of an aqueous solution of the free acid (H3O)2[B12H12] with basic La2O3 and after isothermic evaporation colourless, face‐rich single crystals of a water‐rich lanthanum(III) dodecahydro‐closo‐dodecaborate hydrate [La(H2O)9]2[B12H12]3·15 H2O are isolated. The compound crystallizes in the trigonal system with the centrosymmetric space group (a = 1189.95(2), c = 7313.27(9) pm, c/a = 6.146; Z = 6; measuring temperature: 100 K). The crystal structure of [La(H2O)9]2[B12H12]3·15 H2O can be characterized by two of each other independent, one into another posed motives of lattice components. The [B12H12]2− anions (d(B–B) = 177–179 pm; d(B–H) = 105–116 pm) are arranged according to the samarium structure, while the La3+ cations are arranged according to the copper structure. The lanthanum cations are coordinated in first sphere by nine oxygen atoms from water molecules in form of a threecapped trigonal prism (d(La–O) = 251–262 pm). A coordinative influence of the [B12H12]2− anions on La3+ has not been determined. Since “zeolitic” water of hydratation is also present, obviously the classical H–Oδ–···H–O‐hydrogen bonds play a significant role in the stabilization of the crystal structure. During the conversion of an aqueous solution of (H3O)2[B12H12] with lanthanum trichloride an anion‐mixed salt with the composition [La(H2O)9](H3O)Cl2[B12H12]·H2O is obtained. The compound crystallizes in the hexagonal system with the non‐centrosymmetric space group (a = 808.84(3), c = 2064.51(8) pm, c/a = 2.552; Z = 2; measuring temperature: 293 K). The crystal structure can be characterized as a layer‐like structure, in which [B12H12]2− anions and H3O+ cations alternate with layers of [La(H2O)9]3+ cations (d(La–O) = 252–260 pm) and Cl anions along [001]. The [B12H12]2− (d(B–B) = 176–179 pm; d(B–H) = 104–113 pm) and Cl anions exhibit no coordinative influence on La3+. Hydrogen bonds are formed between the H3O+ cations and [B12H12]2− anions, also between the water molecules of [La(H2O)9]3+ and Cl anions, which contribute to the stabilization of the crystal structure.  相似文献

Synthesis and Crystal Structure of the Fluoride ino‐Oxosilicate Cs2YFSi4O10 The novel fluoride oxosilicate Cs2YFSi4O10 could be synthesized by the reaction of Y2O3, YF3 and SiO2 in the stoichiometric ratio 2 : 5 : 3 with an excess of CsF as fluxing agent in gastight sealed platinum ampoules within seventeen days at 700 °C. Single crystals of Cs2YFSi4O10 appear as colourless, transparent and water‐resistant needles. The characteristic building unit of Cs2YFSi4O10 (orthorhombic, Pnma (no. 62), a = 2239.75(9), b = 884.52(4), c = 1198.61(5) pm; Z = 8) comprises infinite tubular chains of vertex‐condensed [SiO4]4? tetrahedra along [010] consisting of eight‐membered half‐open cube shaped silicate cages. The four crystallographically different Si4+ cations all reside in general sites 8d with Si–O distances from 157 to 165 pm. Because of the rigid structure of this oxosilicate chain the bridging Si–O–Si angles vary extremely between 128 and 167°. The crystallographically unique Y3+ cation (in general site 8d as well) is surrounded by four O2? and two F? anions (d(Y–O) = 221–225 pm, d(Y–F) = 222 pm). These slightly distorted trans‐[YO4F2]7? octahedra are linked via both apical F? anions by vertex‐sharing to infinite chains along [010] (?(Y–F–Y) = 169°, ?(F–Y–F) = 177°). Each of these chains connects via terminal O2? anions to three neighbouring oxosilicate chains to build up a corner‐shared, three‐dimensional framework. The resulting hexagonal and octagonal channels along [010] are occupied by the four crystallographically different Cs+ cations being ten‐, twelve‐, thirteen‐ and fourteenfold coordinated by O2? and F? anions (viz.[(Cs1)O10]19?, [(Cs2)O10F2]21?, [(Cs3)O12F]24?, and [(Cs4)O12F2]25? with d(Cs–O) = 309–390 pm and d(Cs–F) = 360–371 pm, respectively).  相似文献

The new quinary fluoride‐rich rubidium scandium oxosilicate Rb3Sc2F5Si4O10 was obtained from mixtures of RbF, ScF3, Sc2O3 and SiO2 in sealed platinum ampoules after seventeen days at 700 °C. The colourless compound crystallises orthorhombically in space group Pnma with a = 962.13(5), b = 825.28(4), c = 1838.76(9) pm and Z = 4. For the oxosilicate partial structure, [SiO4]4– tetrahedra are connected in (001) by vertex‐sharing to form corrugated unbranched vierer single layers ${2}\atop{{\infty}}$ {[Si4O10]4–} (d(Si–O) = 158–165 pm, ∠(O–Si–O) = 103–114°, ∠(Si–O–Si) = 125–145°) containing six‐membered rings. Similar oxosilicate layers with 63‐net topology are well‐known for the mineral group of micas or in sanbornite Ba2Si4O10. Regarding other systems, identical tetrahedral layers can be found in the synthetic borophosphate Mg(H2O)2[B2P2O8(OH)2] · H2O. The Sc3+ cations are coordinated octahedrally by four F and two O2– anions. These cis‐[ScF4O2]5– octahedra (d(Sc–F) = 200–208 pm, d(Sc–O) = 202–205 pm) share one equatorial and two apical F anions with others to build up slightly corrugated ${1}\atop{{\infty}}$ {[Sc2F${t}\atop{2/1}$ F${v}\atop{6/2}$ O${t}\atop{4/1}$ ]7–} double chains along [010]. These are linked with the oxosilicate layers via two oxygen vertices to construct a three‐dimensional framework with cavities apt to host the three crystallographically independent Rb+ cations with coordination numbers of eleven, twelve and thirteen.  相似文献

Bis(N‐acetyltriethylphosphaneiminium)‐tetraacetato‐dichloro‐dicuprate(II), [MeC(O)N(H)PEt3]2[Cu2(O2C–Me)4Cl2] The title compound has been prepared by the reaction of Me3SiNPEt3 with [Cu2(O2C–Me)4] and MeC(O)Cl in dichloromethane solution to give colourless crystals which include four molecules CH2Cl2 per formula unit. The reactions of group 14 tetrachlorides MCl4 (M=Si, Ge, Sn) with oleum (65 % SO3) at elevated temperatures lead to the unique complex ions [M(S2O7)3]2?, which show the central M atoms in coordination with three chelating S2O72? groups. The mean distances M? O within the anions increase from 175.6(2)–177.5(2) pm (M=Si) to 186.4(4)–187.7(4) pm (M=Ge) to 201.9(2)–203.5(2) pm (M=Sn). These distances are reproduced well by DFT calculations. The same calculations show an increasing positive charge for the central M atom in the row Si, Ge, Sn, which can be interpreted as the decreasing covalency of the M? O bonds. For the silicon compound (NH4)2[Si(S2O7)3], 29Si solid‐state NMR measurements have been performed, with the results showing a signal at ?215.5 ppm for (NH4)2[Si(S2O7)3], which is in very good agreement with theoretical estimations. In addition, the vibrational modes within the [MO6] skeleton have been monitored by Raman spectroscopy for selected examples, and are well reproduced by theory. The charge balance for the [M(S2O7)3]2? ions is achieved by monovalent A+ counter ions (A=NH4, Ag), which are implemented in the syntheses in the form of their sulfates. The sizes of the A+ ions, that is, their coordination requirements, cause the crystallographic differences in the crystal structures, although the complex [M(S2O7)3]2? ions remain essentially unaffected with the different A+ ions. Furthermore, the nature of the A+ ions influences the thermal behavior of the compounds, which has been monitored for selected examples by thermogravimetric differential thermal analysis (DTA/TG) and XRD measurements.  相似文献

Rb6LiPr11Cl16[SeO3]12: A Chloride‐Derivatized Rubidium Lithium Praseodymium(III) Oxoselenate(IV) Transparent green square platelets with often truncated edges and corners of Rb6LiPr11Cl16[SeO3]12 were obtained by the reaction of elemental praseodymium, praseodymium(III,IV) oxide and selenium dioxide with an eutectic LiCl–RbCl flux at 500 °C in evacuated silica ampoules. A single crystal of the moisture and air insensitive compound was characterized by X‐ray diffraction single‐crystal structure analysis. Rb6LiPr11Cl16[SeO3]12 crystallizes tetragonally in the space group I4/mcm (no. 140; a = 1590.58(6) pm, c = 2478.97(9) pm, c/a = 1.559; Z = 4). The crystal structure is characterized by two types of layers parallel to the (001) plane following the sequence 121′2′1. Cl? anions form cubes around the Rb+ cations (Rb1 and Rb2; CN = 8; d(Rb+?Cl?) = 331 – 366 pm) within the first layer. One quarter of the possible places for Rb+ cations within this CsCl‐type kind of arrangement is not occupied, however the Cl? anions of these vacancies are connected to Pr3+ cations (Pr4) above and below instead, forming square antiprisms of [(Pr4)O4Cl4]9? units (d(Pr4?O) = 247–249 pm; d(Pr4?Cl) = 284–297 pm) that work as links between layer 1 and 2. Central cations of the second layer consist of Li+ and Pr3+. While the Li+ cations are surrounded by eight O2? anions (d(Li?O5) = 251 pm) in the shape of cubes again, the Pr3+ cations are likewisely coordinated by eight O2? anions as square antiprisms (for Pr1, d(Pr1?O2) = 242 pm) and by ten O2? anions (for Pr2 and Pr3), respectively. The latter form tetracapped trigonal antiprisms (Pr2, d(Pr2?O) = 251–253 pm and 4 × 262 pm) or bicapped distorted cubes (Pr3, d(Pr3?O) = 245–259 pm and 2 × 279 pm). The non‐binding electron pairs (“lone pairs”) at the two crystallographically different Ψ1‐tetrahedral [SeO3]2? anions (d(Se4+?O2?) = 169–173 pm) are directing towards the empty cavities between the layer‐connecting [(Pr4)O4Cl4]9? units.  相似文献

Two Chloride Silicates of Yttrium: Y3Cl[SiO4]2 and Y6Cl10[Si4O12] The chloride‐poor yttrium(III) chloride silicate Y3Cl[SiO4]2 crystallizes orthorhombically (a = 685.84(4), b = 1775.23(14), c = 618.65(4) pm; Z = 4) in space group Pnma. Single crystals are obtained by the reaction of Y2O3, YCl3 and SiO2 in the stoichiometric ratio 4 : 1 : 6 with ten times the molar amount of YCl3 as flux in evacuated silica tubes (7 d, 1000 °C) as colorless, strongly light‐reflecting platelets, insensitive to air and water. The crystal structure contains isolated orthosilicate units [SiO4]4– and comprises cationic layers {(Y2)Cl}2+ which are alternatingly piled parallel (010) with anionic double layers {(Y1)2[SiO4]2}2–. Both crystallographic different Y3+ cations exhibit coordination numbers of eight. Y1 is surrounded by one Cl and 7 O2– anions as a distorted trigonal dodecahedron, whereas the coordination polyhedra around Y2 show the shape of bicapped trigonal prisms consisting of 2 Cl and 6 O2– anions. The chloride‐rich chloride silicate Y6Cl10[Si4O12] crystallizes monoclinically (a = 1061,46(8), b = 1030,91(6), c = 1156,15(9) pm, β = 103,279(8)°; Z = 2) in space group C2/m. By the reaction of Y2O3, YCl3 and SiO2 in 2 : 5 : 6‐molar ratio with the double amount of YCl3 as flux in evacuated silica tubes (7 d, 850 °C), colorless, air‐ and water‐resistant, brittle single crystals emerge as pseudo‐octagonal columns. Here also a layered structure parallel (001) with distinguished cationic double‐layers {(Y2)5Cl9}6+ and anionic layers {(Y1)Cl[Si4O12]}6– is present. The latter ones contain discrete cyclo‐tetrasilicate units [Si4O12]8– of four cyclically corner‐linked [SiO4] tetrahedra in all‐ecliptical arrangement. The coordination sphere around (Y1)3+ (CN = 8) has the shape of a slightly distorted hexagonal bipyramid comprising 2 Cl and 6 O2– anions. The 5 Cl and 2 O2– anions building the coordination polyhedra around (Y2)3+ (CN = 7) form a strongly distorted pentagonal bipyramid.  相似文献

Zintl Anions of Silicon in the Halides La3Cl2Si3 and La6Br3Si7 La3Cl2Si3 and La6Br3Si7 are prepared at temperatures of around 950 °C from LaX3 (X = Cl, Br), La metal and Si as starting materials. La3Cl2Si3 crystallizes in C2/m with a = 1802(3), b = 420.6(4), c = 1058(2) pm, β = 97.9(2)°, and La6Br3Si7 in Pmmn mit a = 1686.9(2), b = 412.93(11), c = 1185.2(1) pm. In both compounds the Si atoms are located in trigonal prisms of La atoms, which are connected through common triangular and rectangular faces to form layers. The bromine atoms connect the metal atom double layers. In La3Cl2Si3 the Si atoms form zig‐zag chains, in La6Br3Si7 chains build up from ‐connected Si12 rings. For the first time ruby‐red single crystals and powder samples of Na5[NiO2][CO3] were obtained via a redox reaction between nickel metal and CdO in the presence of Na2O and Na2CO3 (molar ratios of CdO : Na2O : Na2CO3 equal 1 : 3 : 2). The crystal structure has been refined from single crystal X‐ray diffraction data at 170 K (tetragonal, P4/mmm, a = 462.7(1) pm, c = 830.5(2) pm) and at 293 K (a = 462.35(7) pm, c = 830.9(1) pm). Na5[NiO2][CO3] is the first example of an alkaline‐rich transition metal oxide with two different oxoanions, [NiO2]3– and [CO3]2–, coexisting in one compound. The electronic spectrum of Na5[NiO2][CO3] has been measured between 4000 and 25000 cm–1. Two d‐d‐transitions of the linear [NiO2]3– complex (d9) are observed at 5870 cm–1 and 11850 cm–1 and analysed using the angular overlap model. MIR and FIR spectra give evidence for the [CO3]2– anion present in the structure.  相似文献

Synthesis and Crystal Structure of Cadmium Dodecahydro closo‐Dodecaborate Hexahydrate, Cd(H2O)6[B12H12] Through neutralization of the aqueous free acid (H3O)2[B12H12] with cadmium carbonate (CdCO3) and after isothermic evaporation of the resulting solution, colourless lath‐shaped single crystals of Cd(H2O)6[B12H12] are obtained. Cadmium dodecahydro closo‐dodecaborate hexahydrate crystallizes at room temperature in the monoclinic system (space group: C2/m) with the lattice constants a = 1413.42(9), b = 1439.57(9), c = 749.21(5) pm and β = 97.232(4)° (Z = 4). The crystal structure of Cd(H2O)6[B12H12] can be regarded as a monoclinic distortion variant of the CsCl‐type structure. Two crystallographically different [Cd(H2O)6]2+ octahedra (d(Cd–O) = 227–230 pm) are present which only differ in their relative orientation. The intramolecular bond lengths for the quasi‐icosahedral [B12H12]2? cluster anions range in the intervals usually found for dodecahydro closo‐dodecaborates (d(B–B) = 177–179 pm, d(B–H) = 103–116 pm). The hydrogen atoms of the [B12H12]2? clusters have no direct coordinative influence on the Cd2+ cations. Due to the fact that no “zeolitic” crystal water molecules are present, a stabilization of the lattice takes place mainly via the B–Hδ?···H–O hydrogen bonds.  相似文献

Nd3Si5AlON10 – Synthesis, Crystal Structure, and Properties of a Sialon Isotypic with La3Si6N11 Nd3Si5AlON10 was synthesized by the reaction of silicon diimide, aluminium nitride, aluminium oxide, and neodymium in a pure nitrogen atmosphere at 1650 °C using a radiofrequency furnace. The compound was obtained as a coarsely crystalline solid. According to the single‐crystal structure determination the title compound is isotypic with Ln3Si6N11 (Ln = La, Ce, Pr, Nd, Sm). Nd3Si5AlON10 (P4bm, a = 1007.8(1), c = 486.3(1) pm, Z = 2, R1 = 0.016, wR2 = 0.031) is built up by a three‐dimensional network structure of corner sharing SiON3 and (Si/Al)N4 tetrahedra (molar ratio Si : Al = 3 : 1). According to lattice energetic calculations using the MAPLE concept a differentiation of O and N seems to be reasonable. One of the two different sites for the tetrahedral centres is probably occupied by Si (distances: Si–O: 168.4(1), Si–N: 173.6(3)–176.0(4) pm) the second site by Si and Al with the molar ratio 3 : 1 (distances: (Si/Al)–N: 172.0(3)–176.6(2) pm). The Nd3+ ions are located in the voids of the (Si5AlON10)9– framework (distances: Nd–O: 261.07(8), Nd–N: 246.1(2)–286.6(2) pm).  相似文献

The reaction of ZrCl4 with oleum (65 % SO3) in the presence of Ag2SO4 at 250 °C yielded colorless single crystals of Zr(S2O7)2 [orthorhombic, Pccn, Z = 4, a = 709.08(6) pm, b = 1442.2(2) pm, c = 942.23(9) pm, V = 963.5(2) × 106 pm3]. Zr(S2O7)2 shows Zr4+ ions in an eightfold distorted square antiprismatic coordination of oxygen atoms belonging to four chelating disulfate units. Each S2O72– ion is connected to a further Zr4+ ion leading to chains according to 1[Zr(S2O7)4/2]. The same reaction at a temperature of 150 °C resulted in the formation of Ag4[Zr(S2O7)4] [monoclinic, C2/c, Z = 4, a = 1829.35(9) pm, b = 704.37(3) pm, c = 1999.1(1) pm, β = 117.844(2)°, V = 2277.6(2) × 106 pm3]. Ag4[Zr(S2O7)4] exhibits the unprecedented [Zr(S2O7)4]4– anion, in which the central Zr4+ cation is coordinated by four chelating disulfate units. Thus, in Ag4[Zr(S2O7)4] the 1[[Zr(S2O7)4/2] chains observed in Zr(S2O7)2 are formally cut into pieces by the implementation of Ag+ ions.  相似文献
