We describe a theoretical scheme that allows for transfer of quantum states of atomic collective excitation between two macroscopic atomic ensembles localized in two spatially-separated domains. The conception is based on the occurrence of double-exciton dark states due to the collective destructive quantum interference of the emissions from the two atomic ensembles. With an adiabatically coherence manipulation for the atom-field couplings by stimulated Rmann scattering, the dark states will extrapolate from an exciton state of an ensemble to that of another. This realizes the transport of quantum information among atomic ensembles.  相似文献

As a special quantum node in a quantum network, the quantum router plays an important role in storing and transferring quantum information. In this paper, we propose a quantum router scheme based on asymmetric intercavity couplings and a three-level Λ-type atomic system. This scheme implements the quantum routing capability very well. It can perfectly transfer quantum information from one quantum channel to another. Compared with the previous quantum routing scheme, our proposed scheme can achieve the transfer rate of single photons from one quantum channel to another quantum channel reaching 100%, the high transfer rate is located in the almost quadrant regions with negative values of the two variables λ_a and λ_b, and their maximum values T_u~b+T_d~b= 1 emerge in the center point λ_a=λ_b=-1. Therefore, it is possibly feasible to efficiently enhance the routing capability of the single photons between two channels by adjusting the inter-resonator couplings, and the asymmetric intercavity coupling provides a new method for achieving high-fidelity quantum routers.  相似文献

The distributed wireless quantum communication network (DWQCN) ha~ a distributed network topology and trans- mits information by quantum states. In this paper, we present the concept of the DWQCN and propose a system scheme to transfer quantum states in the DWQCN. The system scheme for transmitting information between any two nodes in the DWQCN includes a routing protocol and a scheme for transferring quantum states. The routing protocol is on-demand and the routing metric is selected based on the number of entangled particle pairs. After setting up a route, quantum tele- portation and entanglement swapping are used for transferring quantum states. Entanglement swapping is achieved along with the process of routing set up and the acknowledgment packet transmission. The measurement results of each entan- glement swapping are piggybacked with route reply packets or acknowledgment packets. After entanglement swapping, a direct quantum link between source and destination is set up and quantum states are transferred by quantum teleportation. Adopting this scheme, the measurement results of entanglement swapping do not need to be transmitted specially, which decreases the wireless transmission cost and transmission delay.  相似文献

Topological pumping of edge states in the finite lattice with nontrivial topological phases provides a powerful means for robust excitation transfer, requiring extremely slow evolution to follow an adiabatic transfer. Here, we propose fast topological pumping via edge channels to generate large-scale Greenberger−Horne−Zeilinger (GHZ) states in a topological superconducting circuit with a sped-up evolution process. The scheme indicates a conceptual way of designing fast topological pumping related to the instantaneous energy spectrum characteristics rather than relying on the shortcuts to adiabaticity. Based on fast topological pumping, large-scale GHZ states show greater robustness against on-site potential defects, the fluctuation of couplings and losses of the system in comparison with the conventional adiabatic topological pumping. With experimentally feasible qutrit-resonator coupling strengths and moderate decay rates of qutrits and resonators, fast topological pumping drastically improves the scalability of GHZ states with a high fidelity. Our work opens up prospects for the realization of large-scale GHZ states based on fast topological pumping in the superconducting quantum circuit system, which provides potential applications of topological matters in quantum information processing.  相似文献

We propose a scheme for quantum state transfer within the high-dimensional state subspaces between any two nodes in a quantum network. The states are encoded in the collective ground states of multiple atoms. The transfer processes are controlled by only applying external laser pulses. The prominent feature of the scheme is that the state transfer of any dimension can be achieved through virtually coupling all the excitations of the total system.  相似文献

We investigate the quantum-state transfer on spin-chain channels with random imperfections. Through combining the advantages of two known schemes, the dual-rail spin-chain channels [9] and the particular ihhomogenous spin-chain channel [10], we propose a protocol that can avoid the quantum noises introduced by many unnecessary measurements and can enhance the anti-decoherence ability. The results show that our protocol is more efficient to transfer an arbitrary quantum state than the original one. In particular, we discuss the effects of couplings fluctuations and imperfect initialization on both of the improved scheme and original one.  相似文献

In combination with the theories of open system and quantum recovering measurement, we propose a quantum state transfer scheme using spin chains by performing two sequential operations: a projective measurement on the spins of ‘environment’ followed by suitably designed quantum recovering measurements on the spins of interest. The scheme allows perfect transfer of arbitrary multispin states through multiple parallel spin chains with finite probability. Our scheme is universal in the sense that it is state-independent and applicable to any model possessing spin–spin interactions. We also present possible methods to implement the required measurements taking into account the current experimental technologies. As applications, we consider two typical models for which the probabilities of perfect state transfer are found to be reasonably high at optimally chosen moments during the time evolution.  相似文献

Spin chains are promising candidates for quantum communication and computation. Using quantum optimal control (OC) theory based on the Krotov method, we present a protocol to perform quantum state transfer with fast and high fidelity by only manipulating the boundary spins in a quantum spin-1/2 chain. The achieved speed is about one order of magnitude faster than that is possible in the Lyapunov control case for comparable fidelities. Additionally, it has a fundamental limit for OC beyond which optimization is not possible. The controls are exerted only on the couplings between the boundary spins and their neighbors, so that the scheme has good scalability. We also demonstrate that the resulting OC scheme is robust against disorder in the chain.  相似文献

We propose a scheme for implementation of a universal set of quantum logic gates in decoherence-free subspace with atoms trapped in distant cavities connected by optical fibers. The selective dispersive couplings between the ground states and the first-excited states of the atom-cavity-fiber system produce a state-dependent Stark shift, which can be used to implement nonlocal phase gates between two logic qubits. The single-logic-qubit quantum gates are achieved by the local two-atom collision and the Stark shift of a single atom.During all the logic operations, the logic qubits remain in decoherence-free subspace and thus the operation is immune to collective dephasing.  相似文献

We present a scheme to generate cluster states with many scheme, no transfer of quantum information between the atoms in cavity QED via Raman transition. In this atoms and cavities is required, the cavity fields are only virtually excited and thus the cavity decay is suppressed during the generation of cluster states. The atoms are always populated in the two ground states. Therefore, the scheme is insensitive to the atomic spontaneous emission and cavity decay. We also show how to transfer quantum information from one atom to another.  相似文献

In general, the proton NMR spectra of chiral molecules aligned in the chiral liquid crystalline media are broad and featureless. The analyses of such intricate NMR spectra and their routine use for spectral discrimination of R and S optical enantiomers are hindered. A method is developed in the present study which involves spin state selective two dimensional correlation of higher quantum coherence to its single quantum coherence of a chemically isolated group of coupled protons. This enables the spin state selective detection of proton single quantum transitions based on the spin states of the passive nuclei. The technique provides the relative signs and magnitudes of the couplings by overcoming the problems of enantiomer discrimination, spectral complexity and poor resolution, permitting the complete analyses of the otherwise broad and featureless spectra. A non-selective 180 degrees pulse in the middle of MQ dimension retains all the remote passive couplings. This accompanied by spin selective MQ-SQ conversion leads to spin state selective coherence transfer. The removal of field inhomogeneity contributes to dramatically enhanced resolution. The difference in the cumulative additive values of chemical shift anisotropies and the passive couplings, between the enantiomers, achieved by detecting Nth quantum coherence of N magnetically equivalent spins provides enhanced separation of enantiomer peaks. The developed methodology has been demonstrated on four different chiral molecules with varied number of interacting spins, each having a chiral centre.  相似文献

The exchange coupling between quantum dot spin qubits is isotropic, which restricts the types of quantum gates that can be formed. Here, we propose a method for controlling anisotropic interactions between spins arranged in a bus geometry. The symmetry is broken by an external magnetic field, resulting in XXZ-type interactions that can efficiently generate maximally entangled Greenberger-Horne-Zeilinger states or universal gate sets for exchange-only quantum computing. We exploit the XXZ couplings to propose a qubit scheme, based on double dots.  相似文献

Quantum dots comprise a type of quantum impurity system. The entanglement and coherence of quantum states are significantly influenced by the strong electron-electron interactions among impurities and their dissipative coupling with the surrounding environment. Competition between many-body effects and transfer couplings plays an important role in determining the entanglement among localized impurity spins. In this work, we employ the hierarchical-equations-of-motion approach to explore the entanglement of a strongly correlated double quantum dots system. The relation between the total system entropy and those of subsystems is also investigated.  相似文献

Most quantum computer realizations require the ability to apply local fields and tune the couplings between qubits, in order to realize single bit and two bit gates which are necessary for universal quantum computation. We present a scheme to remove the necessity of switching the couplings between qubits for two bit gates, which are more costly in many cases. Our strategy is to compute with encoded qubits in and out of carefully designed interaction free subspaces analogous to decoherence free subspaces. We give two examples to show how universal quantum computation is realized in our scheme with local manipulations to physical qubits only, for both diagonal and off diagonal interactions.  相似文献

Achieving quantum correlations between two distant systems is a desirable feature for quantum networking. In this work, we study a system composed of two quantum emitter-cavity subsystems spatially separated. A mechanical resonator couples to either both quantum emitters or both cavities leading to quantum correlations between both subsystems such as non-local light-matter dressed states and cavity–cavity normal mode splitting. These indirect couplings can be explained by an effective Hamiltonian for large energy detuning between the mechanical resonator and the atoms/cavities. Moreover, it is found that the optimal conditions of the physical parameters maximize the entanglement of phonon-mediated couplings.  相似文献

Multicast-based quantum teleportation(QT) is extensively used in quantum information transmission where a sender sends different information to multiple receivers at the large distance through the quantum entangled channel. In this paper, we introduce the multi-output QT scheme, which deals with the situation that the synchronous transfer of the arbitrary m-and(m+1)-qubit GHZ-class states from one sender to two receivers. Notably, the requirement about synchronous diverse information transmission is satisfied in our scheme with high efficiency. Moreover, we demonstrate the implementation of the special case of above quantum multi-output teleportation scheme on a sixteenqubit quantum computer and a 32-qubit simulator provided by IBM quantum platform, then discuss it in four types of noisy environments, and calculate the fidelities of the output states.  相似文献

Faithful long-distance quantum teleportation necessitates prior entanglement distribution between two communicated locations. The particle carrying on the unknown quantum information is then combined with one particle of the entangled states for Bell-state measurements, which leads to a transfer of the original quantum information onto the other particle of the entangled states. However in most of the implemented teleportation experiments nowadays, the Bell-state measurements are performed even before successful distribution of entanglement. This leads to an instant collapse of the quantum state for the transmitted particle, which is actually a single-particle transmission thereafter. Thus the true distance for quantum teleportation is, in fact, only in a level of meters. In the present experiment we design a novel scheme which has overcome this limit by utilizing fiber as quantum memory. A complete quantum teleportation is achieved upon successful entanglement distribution over 967 meters in public free space. Active feed-forward control techniques are developed for real-time transfer of quantum information. The overall experimental fidelities for teleported states are better than 89.6%, which signify high-quality teleportation.  相似文献

Quantum state transfer (QST) is an important task in quantum information processing. In this study, we describe two approaches for the high-fidelity transfer of a quantum state between two opposite quantum dots attached to a multi-channel quantum network. First, we demonstrate that a high-efficiency QST can be achieved with the coherent time evolution of a quantum system without any external control. Second, we present an approach that uses an alternative mechanism for a high-fidelity QST. By adiabatically varying tunnel couplings, it is possible to implement the complete transmission of a quantum state based on this quantum mechanical mechanism.  相似文献

A scheme of a multiqubit quantum computer on atomic ensembles using a quantum transistor implementing two qubit gates is proposed. We demonstrate how multiatomic ensembles permit one to work with a large number of qubits that are represented in a logical encoding in which each qubit is recorded on a superposition of single-particle states of two atomic ensembles. The access to qubits is implemented by appropriate phasing of quantum states of each of atomic ensembles. An atomic quantum transistor is proposed for use when executing two qubit operations. The quantum transistor effect appears when an excitation quantum is exchanged between two multiatomic ensembles located in two closely positioned QED cavities connected with each other by a gate atom. The dynamics of quantum transfer between atomic ensembles can be different depending on one of two states of the gate atom. Using the possibilities of control for of state of the gate atom, we show the possibility of quantum control for the state of atomic ensembles and, based on this, implementation of basic single and two qubit gates. Possible implementation schemes for a quantum computer on an atomic quantum transistor and their advantages in practical implementation are discussed.  相似文献
