Four pyridinecarboxamide iron dicyanide building blocks and one Mn(III) compound have been employed to assemble cyanide-bridged
heterometallic complexes, resulting in a series of trinuclear cyanide-bridged FeIII–MnII complexes: {[Mn(DMF)2 (MeOH)2][Fe(bpb)(CN)2]2}·2DMF (1), {[Mn(MeOH)4][Fe(bpmb)(CN)2]2}·2MeOH·2H2O (2), {[Mn(MeOH)4][Fe(bpdmb)(CN)2]2}·2MeOH·2H2O (3) and {[Mn(MeOH)4][Fe(bpClb)(CN)2]2}·4MeOH (4) (bpb2− = 1,2-bis(pyridine-2-carboxamido)benzenate, bpmb2− = 1,2-bis(pyridine-2-carboxamido)-4-methyl-benzenate, bpdmb2− = 1,2-bis(pyridine-2-carboxamido)-4,5-dimethyl-benzenate, bpClb2− = 1,2-bis(pyridine-2-carboxamido)-4-chloro-benzenate). Single-crystal X-ray diffraction analysis shows their similar sandwich-like
structures, in which the two cyanide-containing building blocks act as monodentate ligands through one of their two cyanide
groups to coordinate the Mn(II) center. Investigation of the magnetic properties of these complexes reveals antiferromagnetic
coupling between the neighboring Fe(III) and Mn(II) centers through the bridging cyanide group. A best fit to the magnetic
susceptibilities of complexes 1 and 3 gave the magnetic coupling constants J = −1.59(2) and −1.32(4) cm−1, respectively. 相似文献

Two new Co(II) and Ni(II) complexes exhibiting DNA cytotoxic activities with 3-(2-pyridyl)pyrazole-based ligand, [Co(L)(3)](ClO(4))(2) (1) and [Ni(L)(3)](ClO(4))(2) (2) (L=1-[3-(2-pyridyl)-pyrazol-1-ylmethyl]-naphthalene) were synthesized and structurally characterized. Both 1 and 2 crystallized in the monoclinic system, space group P2(1)/c, for 1, a=12.8324(8), b=12.1205(8), c=33.27(2) A, beta=93.92(3) degrees and Z=4; for 2, a=12.8764(3), b=12.1015(3), c=33.2415(9) A, beta=93.998(1) degrees and Z=4. Among them, the Co(II) and Ni(II) ions were all coordinated by six N donors from three distinct L ligands. In addition, the cytotoxic activities of 1, 2 and L in vitro were evaluated against three different cancer cell lines HL-60 (human leukemia), BGC-823 (stomach cancer) and MDA-MB-435 (mammary cancer), respectively. The results showed that 1 exhibited significantly high cytotoxic activities against HL-60 and moderate activities against BGC-823 and MDA-MB-435. In order to further investigate the relationships between structures and DNA-binding behaviors of these complexes, the interactions of 1, 2 and L with calf thymus DNA (CT-DNA) were then subjected to thermal denaturation, viscosity measurements and spectrophotometric methods. The results indicated that 1 and 2 intercalated with DNA via L ligand. The intrinsic binding constants of 1, 2 and L with DNA were 1.6x10(4), 5.6x10(3) and 2.76x10(3) M(-1), respectively. 相似文献

Summary Four new trinuclear copper(II) complexes bridged by o-phenylenebis(oxamato) (opba) and end-capped with 1,10-phenanthroline (phen), 5-nitro-1,10-phenanthroline (NO2-phen), 2,2-bipyridyl (bipy) or 4,4-dimethyl-2,2-bipyridyl (Me2bipy), {[Cu(opba)][Cu(L)]2}(ClO4)2 (L = phen, NO2-phen, bipy or Me2bipy), have been synthesized and characterized. Based on i.r., elemental analyses, conductivity measurements and electronic spectra, oxamato-bridged structures consisting of three copper(II) ions in which each copper(II) ion has a square-planar environment are proposed. The temperature-dependent magnetic susceptibility of {[Cu(opba)][Cu(phen)]2} (ClO4)2 has been studied in the 4.2–300 K range, giving the exchange integral J = -134.4cm–1. The result revealed the operation of an antiferromagnetic spin-exchange interaction between the adjacent copper ions. 相似文献

Four oxamato-bridged heterotrinuclear Ni(II)Cu(II)Ni(II) complexes of formula ([Ni(bispictn)](2)Cu(pba))(ClO(4))(2).2.5H(2)O (1), ([Ni(bispictn)](2)Cu(pbaOH))(ClO(4))(2).H(2)O (2), ([Ni(cth)](2)Cu(pba))(ClO(4))(2) (3), and ([Ni(cth)](2)Cu(opba))(ClO(4))(2).H(2)O (4) and a binuclear Ni(II)Cu(II) complex of formula [Cu(opba)Ni(cth)].CH(3)OH (5) have been synthesized and characterized by means of elemental analysis, IR, ESR, and electronic spectra, where pba = 1,3-propylenebis(oxamato), pbaOH = 2-hydroxyl-1,3-propylenebis(oxamato), opba = o-phenylenebis(oxamato), bispictn = N,N'-bis(2-pyridylmethyl)-1,3-propanediamine, and cth = rac-5,7,7,12,14,14-hexamethyl-1,4,8,11-tetraazacyclotetradecane. The crystal structures of 1, 3, and 5 have been determined. The structures of complexes 1 and 3 consist of trinuclear cations and perchlorate anions, and that of 5 consists of neutral binuclear molecules which are connected by hydrogen bonds and pi-pi interactions to produce a unique supramolecular "double" sheet. In the three complexes, the copper atom in a square-planar or axially elongated octahedral environment and the nickel atom in a distorted octahedral environment are bridged by the oxamato groups, with Cu.Ni separations between 5.29 and 5.33 A. The magnetic properties of all five complexes have been investigated. The chi(M)T versus T plots for 1-4 exhibit the minimum characteristic of antiferromagnetically coupled NiCuNi species with an irregular spin state structure and a spin-quartet ground state. The chi(M)T versus T plot for 5 is typical of an antiferromagnetically coupled NiCu pair with a spin-doublet ground state. The Ni(II)-Cu(II) isotropic interaction parameters for the five complexes were evaluated and are between 102 and 108 cm(-)(1) (H = -JS(Cu).S(Ni)). 相似文献

One nonlinear and one linear trinuclear copper(II) complex [Cu3(dien)2(pdc)2CH3OH]2?·?6CH3OH (1) and [Cu3(pdc)2(CH3OH)6(H2O)4] (2) were prepared and characterized structurally, where dien is diethylenetriamine and pdc3? the trianion of 3,5-pyrazoledicarboxylic acid. Both complexes consist of 3,5-pyrazoledicarboxylato-bridged trinuclear copper(II) centers. In 1, copper(II) ions are five-coordinate in distorted square pyramids with bond angles 164.78° for Cu(1)–Cu(2)–Cu(3) and 164.51° for Cu(4)–Cu(5)–Cu(6). In 2, the three copper(II) ions are six-coordinate with elongated octahedral geometry. The trinuclear units of 1 and 2 interact through hydrogen bonds to form 3-D and 2-D supramolecular networks, respectively. Variable temperature magnetic susceptibility measurements show that 1 and 2 are antiferromagnetically coupled with J values of ?11.2 and ?13.3?cm?1. 相似文献

The reaction of H2L (N,N ′-bis(5-ethyl-1,3,4-thiadiazol-2-yl)-2,6-pyridinedicarboxamide) with Ni(II) salts gave crystals of two new complexes, [Ni3(µ3-O)(H2L)(L)2] · 2DMF (1) and [Ni2(µ-H2O)(CH3OH)(DMF)(L)2] · H2O · CH3OH (2). The complexes were characterized by elemental analysis, IR, thermal analysis, and X-ray single crystal diffraction. Complex 1 is a trinuclear complex containing a triangle frame in the center formed by three Ni(II) atoms with a bridging µ3-O. Complex 2 is dinuclear formed by two Ni(II) atoms with a bridging H2O. H2L coordinates to metal centers as a pentadentate ligand in 1 and tetradentate in 2. Thermal analysis shows that the thermal stability of 1 is higher than that of 2. In addition, the magnetic properties of 2 are also reported. 相似文献

Reaction of CoX2 · nH2O with either 2-amino-3-methylpyridine (3-MAP) or 2-amino-5-methylpyridine (5-MAP) in aqueous acid gave complexes, (3-MAPH)2CoX4 or (5-MAPH)2CoX4 (H2O) n [n = 0,1; X = Cl, Br; 3-MAPH = 2-amino-3-methylpyridinium, 5-MAPH = 2-amino-5-methylpyridinium]. The 3-MAPH salts are formed in the triclinic crystal system while the 5-MAPH salts are formed in the monoclinic crystal system. Three of these compounds exhibit weak antiferromagnetic interactions along with varying degrees of single-ion anisotropy, however, 1 shows easy-plane anisotropy and exhibits a mixture of ferromagnetic and antiferromagnetic interactions. 相似文献

Three new compounds of formula {[Cu(gua)(H(2)O)(3)](BF(4))(SiF(6))(1/2)}(n) (1), {[Cu(gua)(H(2)O)(3)](CF(3)SO(3))(2).H(2)O}(n) (2) and [Cu(gua)(2)(H(2)O)(HCOO)]ClO(4).H(2)O.1/2HCOOH] (3) [gua = 2-amino-1H-purin-6(9H)-one] showing the unprecedented coordination of neutral guanine, have been synthesised and structurally characterized. The structures of the compounds 1 and 2 contain uniform copper(II) chains of formula [Cu(gua)(H(2)O)(3)](n)(2n+), where the copper atoms are bridged by guanine ligands coordinated via N(3) and N(7). The electroneutrality is achieved by uncoordinated tetrafluoroborate and hexafluorosilicate (1) and triflate (2). Each copper atom in 1 and 2 is five-coordinated in a distorted square pyramidal environment: two water molecules in trans positions and the N(3) and N(7a) nitrogen atoms of two guanine ligands build the basal plane whereas a water molecule fills the axial position. The values of the copper-copper separation across the bridging guanine ligand are 7.183(1) (1) and 7.123(1) A (2). is an ionic salt whose structure is made up of mononuclear [Cu(gua)(2)(H(2)O)(HCOO)](+) cations and perchlorate anions plus water and formic acid as crystallization molecules. The two guanine ligands in the cation are coordinated to the copper centre through the N(9) atom. The copper atom in 3 is four-coordinated with two monodentate guanine molecules in the trans position, a water molecule and a monodenate formate ligand building a quasi square planar surrounding. Magnetic susceptibility measurements for 1 and 2 in the temperature range 1.9-300 K show the occurrence of significant intrachain antiferromagnetic interactions between the copper(ii) ions across the guanine bridge [J = -9.6(1) (1) and -10.3(1) cm(-1) (2) with H = -J summation operator(i)S(i).S(i+1)]. 相似文献

The structure of 1 and 3 is made up of neutral [ReCl(4)(mu-ox)M(dmphen)(2)] bimetallic units (M = Mn (1), Co (3)) and acetonitrile molecules of crystallization. M(II) and Re(IV) metal ions exhibit distorted octahedral coordination geometries being bridged by a bis(bidentate) oxalato ligand. The magnetic behavior of 1-4 has been investigated over the temperature range 2.0-300 K. A very weak antiferromagnetic coupling between Re(IV) and Mn(II) occurs in 1 (J = -0.1 cm(-)(1)), whereas a significant ferromagnetic interaction between Re(IV) and M(II) is observed in 2-4 [J = +2.8 (2), +5.2 (3), and +5.9 cm(-)(1) (4)]. 相似文献

The preparation, crystal structures and magnetic properties of the copper(II) complexes of formula [Cu(pyim)(tcm)(2)](n) (1), [Cu(bpy)(tcm)(2)](n) (2), [Cu(4)(bpz)(4)(tcm)(8)] (3), {[Cu(terpy)(tcm)].tcm}(n) (4) and {[Cu(2)(tppz)(tcm)(4)].3/2H(2)O}(n) (5) [pyim = 2-(2-pyridyl)imidazole, tcm = tricyanomethanide, bpy = 2,2'-bipyridine, bpz = 2,2'-bipyrazine, terpy = 2,2':6',2'-terpyridine and tppz = 2,3,5,6-tetrakis(2-pyridyl)pyrazine] are reported. Complexes, 1, 2 and 4 are uniform copper(II) chains with single- (1 and 4) and double-(2) micro-1,5-tcm bridges with values of the intrachain copper-copper separation of 7.489(1) (1), 7.520(1) and 7.758(1) (2) and 7.469(1) A (4). Each copper atom in 1, 2 and 4 is five-coordinate with bidentate pyim (1)/bpy (2) and tridentate terpy (4) ligands and nitrile-nitrogen atoms from bridging (1,2 and 4) and terminal (1) tcm groups building a distorted square pyramidal surrounding. The structure of 3 is made up of neutral centrosymmetric rectangles of (2,2'-bipyrazine)copper(II) units at the corners, the edges being built by single- and double-micro-1,5-tcm bridges with copper-copper separations of 7.969(1) and 7.270(1) A, respectively. Five- and six-coordinated copper atoms with distorted square pyramidal and elongated octahedral environments occur in . Compound 5 is a neutral copper(II) chain with regular alternating bis-tridentate tppz and double micro-1,5-tcm bridges, the intrachain copper-copper distances being 6.549(7) and 7.668(1) A, respectively. The two crystallographically independent copper atoms in 5 have an elongated octahedral geometry with three tppz nitrogen atoms and a nitrile-nitrogen atom from a bridging tcm group in the equatorial positions, and two nitrile nitrogen atoms from a terminal and a bridging tcm ligand occupying the axial sites. The investigation of the magnetic properies of 1-5 in the temperature range 1.9-295 K has shown the occurrence of weak ferro- [J = +0.11(1) cm(-1) (2)] and antiferromagnetic interactions [J = -0.093(1) (1), -0.083(1) (4), -0.04(1) and 1.21(1) cm(-1) (3)] across the micro-1,5-tcm bridges and intermediate antiferromagnetic coupling [-J = 37.4(1) cm(-1) (5)] through bis-tridentate tppz. The values of the magnetic interactions are analyzed through simple orbital symmetry considerations and compared with those previously reported for related systems. 相似文献

The reaction of M(ox) x 2H(2)O (M = Co(II), Ni(II)) or K(2)(Cu(ox)(2)) x 2H(2)O (ox = oxalate dianion) with n-ampy (n = 2, 3, 4; n-ampy = n-aminopyridine) and potassium oxalate monohydrate yields one-dimensional oxalato-bridged metal(II) complexes which have been characterized by FT-IR spectroscopy, variable-temperature magnetic measurements, and X-ray diffraction methods. The complexes M(mu-ox)(2-ampy)(2) (M = Co (1), Ni (2), Cu (3)) are isomorphous and crystallize in the monoclinic space group C2/c (No. 15), Z = 4, with unit cell parameters for 1 of a = 13.885(2) A, b = 11.010(2) A, c = 8.755(1) A, and beta = 94.21(2) degrees. The compounds M(mu-ox)(3-ampy)(2).1.5H(2)O (M = Co (4), Ni (5), Cu (6)) are also isomorphous and crystallize in the orthorhombic space group Pcnn (No. 52), Z = 8, with unit cell parameters for 6 of a = 12.387(1), b = 12.935(3), and c = 18.632(2) A. Compound Co(mu-ox)(4-ampy)(2) (7) crystallizes in the space group C2/c (No. 15), Z = 4, with unit cell parameters of a = 16.478(3) A, b = 5.484(1) A, c = 16.592(2) A, and beta = 117.76(1) degrees. Complexes M(mu-ox)(4-ampy)(2) (M = Ni (8), Cu (9)) crystallize in the orthorhombic space group Fddd (No. 70), Z = 8, with unit cell parameters for 8 of a = 5.342(1), b = 17.078(3), and c = 29.469(4) A. All compounds are comprised of one-dimensional chains in which M(n-ampy)(2)(2+) units are sequentially bridged by bis-bidentate oxalato ligands with M.M intrachain distances in the range of 5.34-5.66 A. In all cases, the metal atoms are six-coordinated to four oxygen atoms, belonging to two bridging oxalato ligands, and the endo-cyclic nitrogen atoms, from two n-ampy ligands, building distorted octahedral surroundings. The aromatic bases are bound to the metal atom in cis (1-6) or trans (7-9) positions. Magnetic susceptibility measurements in the temperature range of 2-300 K show the occurrence of antiferromagnetic intrachain interactions except for the compound 3 in which a weak ferromagnetic coupling is observed. Compound 7 shows spontaneous magnetization below 8 K, which corresponds to the presence of spin canted antiferromagnetism. 相似文献

Three new copper(ii) complexes of formula [Cu(tppz)(NCO)(2)].0.4H(2)O (1), [Cu(2)(tppz)Br(4)](2) and [Cu(3)(tppz)(C(5)O(5))(3)(H(2)O)(3)].7H(2)O (3)[tppz = 2,3,5,6-tetrakis(2-pyridyl)pyrazine; C(5)O(5)(2-) = croconate, dianion of 4,5-dihydroxycyclopent-4-ene-1,2,3-trione] have been synthesised and structurally characterized by X-ray diffraction methods. The structure of complex is made up of neutral [Cu(tppz)(NCO)(2)] mononuclear units and uncoordinated water molecules. The mononuclear units are grouped by pairs to give a rather short copper-copper distance of 3.9244(4) angstroms. The structure of complex 1 consists of neutral tppz-bridged [Cu(2)(tppz)Br(4)] dinuclear units, the copper-copper separation across tppz being 6.6198(1) angstroms. The dinuclear units are further connected through weak, double out-of-plane Cu-Br...Cu bridges [Br(1)...Cu(1a) 4.0028(17) angstroms] creating tetranuclear entities, the copper-copper separation through this interaction being 4.3299(21) angstroms. The structure of complex 3 is built of neutral [Cu(3)(tppz)(C(5)O(5))(3)(H(2)O)(3)] trinuclear units and uncoordinated water molecules. Tppz and one of the croconate groups act as bridging ligands, the former exhibiting the bis-terdentate coordination mode and the latter adopting an unusual asymmetrical bis-bidentate bridging mode through three adjacent oxygen atoms. The other two croconate groups exhibit the bidentate coordination mode. The intramolecular copper-copper separations are 6.5417(9)(across tppz) and 4.3234(9) angstroms (through bis-bidentate croconato). The magnetic properties of 2 and 3 have been investigated in the temperature range 1.9-300 K. The magnetic behaviour of complex 2 is that of an antiferromagnetically coupled copper(II) dimer (J = -40.9 cm(-1), the Hamiltonian being H = -JS(A).S(B)). In the case of compound , the chi(M) T vs. T plot is typical of an overall antiferromagnetic coupling with a low-lying spin doublet being fully populated at T < 10 K. The values of the intramolecular antiferromagnetic interactions in 3 are -19.9 (across tppz) and -32.9 cm(-1)(through bridging croconato). Density functional type calculations were performed on model dinuclear fragments of 3 in order to analyze the efficiency of the exchange pathways involved and also to substantiate the coupling parameters. 相似文献

A synthetic procedure for preparation of new amphiphilic copper(II) and nickel(II) azamacrocyclic complexes bearing aromatic substituents is developed. The nature of substituents is shown to exert a negligible influence on spectral and electrochemical characteristics of the prepared compounds. The X-ray diffraction analysis of three copper complexes revealed the formation of the dimers of macrocyclic cations associated by noncovalent interactions, nature of which is determined by the structure of the substituent in the macrocyclic ligand. 相似文献

Two novel cobalt(II) complexes, [Co(μ-succinato)(H2O)2(pyridine)2]n1 and {[Co2(μ-H2O)(μ-glutarato)2(pyridine)2]·pyridine}n2 have been synthesized by a wet chemistry method. In complex 1, the Co(II) ions are linked through succinate ligands to created one-dimensional polymeric chain along the b-axis. Complex 2 consists of a polymeric chain of dinuclear Co(II) moieties in which two cobalt(II) ions are linked through a bridging water and two bridging carboxylate groups from two glutarate ligands. The glutarate ligands in complex 2 display two coordination modes, interbinuclear bridging and intrabinuclear bridging. All the bond angles of the alkyl chain in complex 2 are between 115.7° and 118.5°, supporting the gauche conformation. Free pyridine molecules were found in the cavities between the chains. Two strong intramolecular hydrogen bonds are observed between the coordinated water and the uncoordinated carboxylate oxygen atom in both complexes. Complex 2 is further stabilized by π–π stacking of pyridine molecules. Complex 1 is a paramagnet (C = 3.50(1) cm3 K mol and θ = −5.0(5) K) and complex 2 exhibits a broad maximum at 4 K due to weak coupling within the dimeric unit. 相似文献

New trinuclear carbonato-bridged copper(II) complexes, [Cu3(Bipy)6(μ3-CO3)](CF3SO3)4(H2O)0.5 (I) and [Cu3(Phen)6(μ3-CO3)](CF3SO3)4(H2O)0.5 (II) (Bipy = 2,2′-bipyridine and Phen = 1,10-phenanthroline), have been synthesized and characterized by X-ray crystallography.
In the trinuclear units, a carbonate anion triply bridges three Cu atoms in a μ3-η1:η1:η1-CO3 mode. The environment around each copper(II) center is five-coordinate ranging between intermediate to distorted square-pyramidal
geometry. In the crystal packing, the molecule of I is involved in a variety of intra/intermolecular non-covalent interactions such as intra/intermolecular stacking and CH···π
interactions between the pyridine groups of the chelated ligand, leading to a one-dimensional arrangement of I. In complex II, the molecule is involved in both intra- and intermolecular Phen-Phen π-stacking, forming a three-dimensional network. The
spectroscopic (IR, diffuse reflectance, and EPR spectra) properties and the preliminary results of magnetic measurements of
both complexes are investigated and compared to other closely related trinuclear copper(II) complexes. 相似文献
