The aim of this paper is to discuss the global existence and uniqueness of strong solution for a class of the isentropic compressible Navier-Stokes equations with non-Newtonian in one-dimensional bounded intervals. We prove two global existence results on strong solutions of the isentropic compressible Navier-Stokes equations. The first result shows only the existence, and the second one shows the existence and uniqueness result based on the first result, but the uniqueness requires some compatibility condition.  相似文献

The authors prove two global existence results of strong solutions of the isentropic compressible Navier-Stokes-Poisson equations in one-dimensional bounded intervals. The first result shows only the existence. And the second one shows the existence and uniqueness result based on the first result, but the uniqueness requires some compatibility condition. In this paper the initial vacuum is allowed, and T is bounded.  相似文献

We consider the initial boundary value problems (IBVPs) for 1D isentropic compressible Navier–Stokes equations with density-dependent viscosity coefficients and external force. If the initial data is regular, the existence and uniqueness of global strong solution to IBVP are proved in this article.  相似文献

This article is concerned with the time periodic solution to the isentropic compressible Navier-Stokes equations in a periodic domain. Using an approach of parabolic regularization, we first obtain the existence of the time periodic solution to a regularized problem under some smallness and symmetry assumptions on the external force. The result for the original compressible Navier-Stokes equations is then obtained by a limiting process. The uniqueness of the periodic solution is also given.  相似文献

In this paper, we consider one-dimensional compressible isentropic Navier-Stokes equations with the viscosity depending on density and with the free boundary. The viscosity coefficient μ is proportional to ρθ with θ>0, where ρ is the density. The existence, uniqueness, regularity of global weak solutions in H1([0,1]) have been established by Xin and Yao in [Z. Xin, Z. Yao, The existence, uniqueness and regularity for one-dimensional compressible Navier-Stokes equations, preprint]. Furthermore, under certain assumptions imposed on the initial data, we improve the regularity result obtained in [Z. Xin, Z. Yao, The existence, uniqueness and regularity for one-dimensional compressible Navier-Stokes equations, preprint] by driving some new a priori estimates.  相似文献

In this paper we study the global existence and uniqueness of classical solutions to the Cauchy problem for 3D isentropic compressible Navier-Stokes equations with general initial data which could contain vacuum. We give the relation between the viscosity coefficients and the initial energy, which implies that the Cauchy problem under consideration has a global classical solution.  相似文献

In this paper, we consider one-dimensional compressible isentropic Navier-Stokes equations with the viscosity depending on density and with free boundary. The viscosity coefficient μ is proportional to ρθ with 0<θ<1, where ρ is the density. The existence and uniqueness of global weak solutions in H1([0,1]) have been established in [S. Jiang, Z. Xin, P. Zhang, Global weak solutions to 1D compressible isentropic Navier-Stokes equations with density-dependent viscosity, Methods Appl. Anal. 12 (2005) 239-252]. We will establish the regularity of global solution under certain assumptions imposed on the initial data by deriving some new a priori estimates.  相似文献

We establish the global existence and uniqueness of classical solutions to the Cauchy problem for the isentropic compressible Navier‐Stokes equations in three spatial dimensions with smooth initial data that are of small energy but possibly large oscillations with constant state as far field, which could be either vacuum or nonvacuum. The initial density is allowed to vanish, and the spatial measure of the set of vacuum can be arbitrarily large; in particular, the initial density can even have compact support. These results generalize previous results on classical solutions for initial densities being strictly away from vacuum and are the first for global classical solutions that may have large oscillations and can contain vacuum states. © 2012 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.  相似文献

The global existence of weak solutions to the compressible Navier–Stokes equations with vacuum attracts many research interests nowadays. For the isentropic gas, the viscosity coefficient depends on density function from physical point of view. When the density function connects to vacuum continuously, the vacuum degeneracy gives some analytic difficulties in proving global existence. In this paper, we consider this case with gravitational force and fixed boundary condition. By giving a series of a priori estimates on the solution coping with the degeneracy of vacuum, gravitational force and boundary effect, we give global existence and uniqueness results similar to the case without force and boundary. We study the isentropic compressible Navier–Stokes equations with radially symmetric data in an annular domain. We first prove the global existence and regularity results on the radially symmetric weak solutions with non‐negative bounded densities. Then we prove the global existence of radially symmetric strong solutions when the initial data ρ0, u 0 satisfy the compatibility condition for some radially symmetric g ∈ L2. The initial density ρ0 needs not be positive. We also prove some uniqueness results on the strong solutions. Copyright © 2004 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

We investigate global strong solutions for isentropic compressible fluids with initial data close to a stable equilibrium. We obtain the existence and uniqueness of a solution in a functional setting invariant by the scaling of the associated equations. More precisely, the initial velocity has the same critical regularity index as for the incompressible homogeneous Navier-Stokes equations, and one more derivative is needed for the density. We point out a smoothing effect on the velocity and a L 1-decay on the difference between the density and the constant reference state. The proof lies on uniform estimates for a mixed hyperbolic/parabolic linear system with a convection term. Oblatum 9-II-1999 & 6-I-2000?Published online: 29 March 2000  相似文献

We study strong solutions of the isentropic compressible Navier-Stokes equations in a domain . We first prove the local existence of unique strong solutions provided that the initial data ρ0 and u0 satisfy a natural compatibility condition. The important point in this paper is that we allow the initial vacuum: the initial density may vanish in an open subset of Ω. We then prove a new uniqueness result and stability result. Our results are valid for unbounded domains as well as bounded ones.  相似文献

We prove the global existence and uniqueness of solutions of certain mixed hyperbolic-parabolic systems of partial differential equations in one space dimension with initial data that is assumed to be pointwise bounded with possibly large oscillation and with small total energy. The systems we consider are general enough to include the Navier-Stokes equations of compressible flow, the equations of compressible MHD, models of chemical combustion, and others. In particular, the application of our results to the MHD system gives an existence result which is new.  相似文献

In this paper, we study the free boundary problem for the one-dimensional isentropic Navier–Stokes equations with gravity and vacuum for the general pressure P = P(ρ). We mainly obtain global existence, the uniqueness and asymptotic behavior of the weak solution. In particular, we get the result of Theorem 4.7, which shows that the time-asymptotic state corresponds to the hydrostatic pressure law.  相似文献

This is a continuation of the article(Comm.Partial Differential Equations 26(2001)965).In this article, the authors consider the one-dimensional compressible isentropic Navier-Stokes equations with gravitational force, fixed boundary condition,a general pressure and the density-dependent viscosity coefficient when the viscous gas connects to vacuum state with a jump in density.Precisely, the viscosity coefficient μ is proportional to ρ^θ and 0〈θ〈1/2,where ρ is the density, and the pressure P=P(ρ)is a general pressure. The global existence and the uniqueness of weak solution are proved.  相似文献
