A method for the extraction-spectrophotometric determination of palladium with 3,4,4a,5-tetrahydro-3,3,4a-trimethyl-7-(substituted)-pyrimido(1,6-a)benzimidazole-1-thiol (PBT) is described. PBT-Pd(II) complex is extracted from an acidic aqueous solution (0.01-0.5M HClO(4)) into a chloroform layer. The absorbance is measured at 438 nm and the molar absorptivity found to be 1.033 x 10(4)M(-1) cm(-1). The complex system conforms to Beer's law over the range 1.9-28.5 mug/ml palladium(II). The effects of pH (2-6), HClO(4) concentration, PBT concentration and shaking time were studied. The ratio of metal ion to ligand molecules in the coloured complex was found to be 1:4. The tolerance limit for many metals have been determined. Finally, the method has been applied successfully to the determination of palladium in synthetic mixtures and in the standard palladium carbon powder (palladium catalyst).  相似文献

4-Dimethylaminopyridine (DMAP)-stabilized palladium nanoparticles with a mean diameter of 3.4 +/- 0.5 nm are prepared from the aqueous phase reduction of Na2PdCl4 using NaBH4 in the presence of DMAP. TEM and UV-vis spectroscopy characterization of the nanoparticle dispersion shows no obvious change in the nanoparticles several months after preparation. 1H NMR spectroscopy of the nanoparticles shows that the nanoparticle dispersion also contains a boron/DMAP complex and two palladium/DMAP complexes. One of the palladium complexes crystallizes out of the dispersion and is identified as Pd(DMAP)4(OH)2 by X-ray crystallography. Following extensive analysis, it is believed that the palladium/DMAP complexes are formed following the oxidation of the palladium nanoparticles. The prepared nanoparticle dispersion promotes selective hydrogen/deuterium (H/D) exchange on the carbon atoms alpha to the endocyclic nitrogen atom on the DMAP-stabilizing ligands through reaction with D2O. This activity is attributed to the presence of the nanoparticles rather than to the presence of the oxidized palladium/DMAP complexes.  相似文献

A model catalyst system, palladium on tungsten oxide, has been examined by temperature-programmed desorption and photoemission spectroscopy. The samples were prepared by evaporation of palladium onto an oxidized tungsten foil under ultrahigh vacuum conditions. Mostly three-dimensional (3-D) palladium (Pd) clusters were found to be present on oxidized tungsten (WOx) surfaces at room temperature. Upon annealing to 670 K, the palladium clusters are redispersed and decorated by the WOx surface layer. The nature of the WOx phase on top of the palladium clusters is dependent on the mode of oxidation of the tungsten foil prior to palladium deposition. Mainly W(2+) species decorate palladium deposits on tungsten oxidized at room temperature, while mainly W(4+) species are on top of palladium deposits on the surface oxidized at 1300 K. The appearance of a Pd(n+)-O-W(4+) mixed oxide phase with n < 2 was observed on the oxidized tungsten surface. The substantial reduction (relative to nonannealed samples) of molecular CO coverage induced by annealing is discussed in terms of the changes in chemical composition and morphology of the outermost surface.  相似文献

A simple and rapid liquid-liquid extraction of palladium has been studied involving ion-pairing of bromocomplexes of palladium(II) with hexadecylpyridinium bromide (HDPB) dissolved in chloroform. The stoichiometry and distribution of (HDP)2PdBr4 between the aqueous and organic phase was investigated by spectrophotometric mole ratio method. The extraction efficiency of palladium(II) by HDPB was studied as a function of several variables: acid, salt, surfactant concentration and equilibrium time. The results showed that PdBr4(2-) extraction could be explained by assuming the formation of (HDP)2PdBr4 complexes in the aqueous solution and transfer to organic phase. The extraction was fast and the shaking time was only a few min. The average recovery of palladium(II) from an aqueous solution containing 10 microg/ml of analyte was 99% with an RSD% of 0.95. The percentage recovery of 0.2 microg/ml palladium(II) was 96%.  相似文献

在含有4 g•L-1 Pd(NH3)2Cl2和104 g•L-1 NH4H2PO4的闪镀钯基础电解液中,采用极化曲线、循环伏安法和计时安培法研究添加剂作用下钯在玻璃碳电极上的电沉积和电结晶行为.结果表明,添加剂阻化钯的电沉积;钯在玻碳电极上的交换电流密度很低;钯电沉积过程经历了晶核形成过程,其电结晶机理在不含添加剂时接近于三维连续成核,含添加剂时接近于三维瞬时成核.  相似文献

Palladium, cobalt, and nickel in complex with photoacid-generating ligands, 4-(2-nitrobenzyloxycarbonyl)catechol and 4-(6-nitroveratryloxycarbonyl)catechol, were prepared in solution. Films formed from the metal complex solutions perform as positive-tone, directly photopatternable palladium, cobalt, nickel oxide, or composite film precursors. After exposure, acid-bearing selectively soluble complexes could be removed to give patterned films upon developing in aqueous base, which were transformable to the corresponding pattern-preserving metal/metal oxide film. The photodynamics of photoinduced solubility and direct micropatterning of palladium, cobalt, nickel, and palladium/nickel oxide composite films were investigated. Employing palladium as the initiator for autocatalytic chemical plating, selective direct copper plating on palladium film on polyethylene naphthalate and palladium/nickel oxide composite film on glass was accomplished.  相似文献

2-Dodecylthiomethylpyridine (DTP) was newly synthesized to study its extraction properties for precious metals. DTP was a selective extractant for palladium(II) and gold(III) over base metals. The loading test for palladium(II) showed that one palladium ion reacted with one molecule of DTP. The extraction rate of palladium with DTP was measured using a Lewis-type transfer cell at 303 K. The extraction reaction of palladium with DTP has been found to be a first order reaction with respect to palladium ion, DTP, and hydrogen ion concentrations. This reaction is inversely proportional to chloride ion concentration. The rate-determining step was the parallel reactions of DTP with PdCl3(-) and PdCl4(2-) in the aqueous phase.  相似文献

A kinetically inert, reversible coordination polymer (3) was obtained through complexation of dicyclohexylphosphine telechelic poly(tetrahydrofuran) with palladium(II) dichloride. This coordination polymer is unreactive towards palladium(II) dichloride bis(1-diphenylphosphino)dodecane (4), because ligand dissociation in the coordination polymer is slow. However, upon ultrasonication of solutions of 3 in toluene in the presence of 4, formation of palladium(II) heterocomplexes was observed with (31)P NMR spectroscopy. Heterocomplex formation, the consumption of 4, and changes in molecular weight were used to quantify the scission process. In the presence of 60 equivalents of the alkyldiphenylphosphine stopper complex, the reduction in molecular weight was strongly enhanced; over a period of eight hours the weight-averaged molecular weight was reduced from 1.1x10(5) to 2.3x10(4) g mol(-1) while 47 % of the palladium(II) complexes in the coordination polymer had been converted into heterocomplexes. These results show that the system of 3 in combination with scavenger 4 is a suitable system to study the efficiency of ultrasound-induced chain scission of coordination polymers.  相似文献

Reduction of palladium(II) glycinate complexes in strongly acid 0.5 M NaClO4 solutions (pH 0.6 and 1.0) with variable palladium(II) complex and free glycine concentration was studied by the taking of cyclic voltammograms at palladium rotating disc electrode. It is shown that it was a chelate monoglycinate palladium(II) complex that was present in all studied solutions and underwent the reduction. The diffusion coefficient of the chelate monoglycinate palladium(II) complex D = (6.5 ± 0.5) × 10−6 cm2/s was determined from the limiting diffusion current of the complex reduction. The monoglycinate palladium(II) complex reduction occurred in the double-layer segment of the palladium charging curve; it was not complicated by hydrogen adsorption at electrodes. The palladium(II) complex reduction half-wave potential was determined (E 1/2 = ∼0.300 to 0.330 V (SCE)). It is shown that the decreasing of the number of ligands coordinated by palladium via nitrogen atom facilitates the complex reduction process. In particular, the reduction potentials of palladium(II) complexes with different ligand number at palladium electrode shifted markedly toward negative potentials in the series: Pdgly+ < Pd(gly)2 < Pd(gly)42−.  相似文献

研究了空心聚硅氧烷纳米胶囊负载的钯复合物的制备。合成了胶囊负载的腈钯复合物并研究了它们在烯烃芳基化Heck偶联反应中的催化性能。在O/W型聚二甲基硅氧烷微乳模板核上,共聚一定比例的4-(三乙氧基硅基)-丁腈和二甲基二甲氧基硅烷的有机硅单体,,然后用溶剂溶解透析的方法去除模板核聚二甲基硅氧烷而得到空心纳米胶囊.与醋酸钯反应后用KBH4还原得到空心聚硅氧烷胶囊负载的钯复合物。TEM,AFM等结果显示空心聚硅氧烷纳米胶囊负载的钯复合物已得到制备。该复合物对Heck反应具有很高的催化活性和立体选择性。  相似文献

A procedure for the determination of palladium with 4-methyl-1,2-cyclohexanedionedioxime by an extraction -spectrophotometric method has been developed. Interference by coppcr(II), cobalt(Il), iron(II), or iron(III) can be eliminated by suitable masking agents. Ruthenium(III) must be absent or separated prior to the determination of palladium. The molar absorptivity of the bis(4-methyl-1,2-cyclohexanedionedioximato-N,N') palladium(II) complex has been calculated and found to be 1.51?104 1/moles-cm in chloroform at 280 mμ.  相似文献

A micellar solution of cetylpyridinium chloride (CPC) can separate into two phases due to a temperature change or to the addition of salts. Platinum(II), (IV) and palladium(II) reacted with chloride ions to form stable anionic complexes of PtCl4(2-), PtCl6(2-) and PdCl4(2-), respectively, and were adsorbed onto the CPC gel phase. The CPC phase plays the role of an ion-exchange adsorbent for the anionic complexes. By such a procedure, the precious metals of platinum and palladium could be separated from base metals such as copper, zinc and iron. The kinetic separation was performed by a ligand exchange reaction of the palladium(II) chloro-complex with EDTA at 60 degrees C. The anionic palladium(II)-EDTA complex could not bind the opposite charged CP+ and was desorbed from the CPC phase. In the aqueous phase, the recovery of palladium(II) by the double-desorption was 101.1 +/- 1.2%. The platinum(II) and (IV) chloro-complexes were stable for at least 30 min and remained in the CPC phase.  相似文献

A coordinatively unsaturated palladium(0) complex was prepared by the reduction of a polymer-bound palladium(II) chloride complex, which was prepared by the reaction of poly-4-diphenylphosphinomethylstyrene with palladium chloride, with hydrazine in ethanol in the presence of triphenylphosphine. Catalytic activities of the polymerbound palladium(0) complex were examined for three representative types of palladium(0)-induced reactions involving oxidative addition of halides to the metal: (i) vinylic hydrogen substitutions with aryl halides, (ii) acetylenic hydrogen substitutions with aryl halides, (iii) vinylic halogen substitutions with Grignard reagents. Use of the catalyst resulted in formation of corresponding products in good yields. The catalytic activity is comparable to that of analogous homogeneous catalysts, yet is not remarkably lowered on being recycled.  相似文献

1-(2-Pyridylazo)-2-naphthol (PAN) has been used for the simultaneous determination of nickel and palladium at trace levels. PAN complexes of nickel and palladium in the pH 1.98 form red and green colored complexes, respectively, which are soluble in aqueous 4:1 Triton X-100 to sodium dodecylsulfate (SDS) micellar media with total detergent concentration of 3.2%. Under optimum conditions, calibration graphs for the simultaneous determination by second derivative spectrophotometry were obtained. Zero crossing second derivative spectrophotometry at 668 and 572 nm, respectively for palladium and nickel was used for the simultaneous determination. The method is able to determine palladium to nickel ratio 70:1 to 1:6 (Wt/Wt), accurately. Accuracy and reproducibility of the determination method on the known various amounts of palladium and nickel in their binary mixtures were tested. Effects of diverse ions on the determination of palladium and nickel to investigate selectivity of the method also were studied.  相似文献

A wide range of NCN pincer palladium complexes, [4-tert-butyl-2,6-bis(N-alkylimino)phenyl]chloropalladium (alkyl = n-butyl, benzyl, cyclohexyl, tert-butyl, adamantyl, phenyl, 4-methoxyphenyl), were readily prepared from trans-(4-tert-butyl-2,6-diformylphenyl)chlorobis(triphenylphosphine)palladium via dehydrative introduction of the corresponding alkylimino ligand groups (ligand introduction route) in excellent yields (71-98%). NMR studies on this route for forming pincer complexes revealed the intermediacy of [4-tert-butyl-2,6-bis(N-alkylimino)phenyl]chlorobis(triphenylphosphine)palladium which is in equilibrium with the corresponding NCN pincer complexes via coordination/dissociation of the intramolecular imino groups and triphenylphosphine ligands. A series of chiral NCN pincer complexes bearing pyrroloimidazolone units as the trans-chelating donor groups, [4-tert-butyl-2,6-bis{(3R,7aS)-2-phenylhexahydro-1H-pyrrolo[1,2-c]imidazol-1-on-3-yl}phenyl]chloropalladium, were also prepared from the same precursor via condensation with proline anilides in high yields. The catalytic properties of the NCN imino and the NCN pyrroloimidazolone pincer palladium complexes were examined in the Heck reaction and the asymmetric Michael reaction to demonstrate their high catalytic activity and high enantioselectivity.  相似文献

The reaction of 2-(1-naphthyl)benzothiazoline with palladium(II) acetate leads to helical mononuclear and orthometalated tetranuclear products. The molecular structures of mononuclear palladium(II) [Pd(H1-nabz)(2)] (1) (H(2)1-nabz = 2-N-(1-naphthylmethylideneamino)benzenethiolate), tetranuclear palladium(II) [Pd(4)(1-nabz)(4)] (2) and tetranuclear platinum(II) [Pt(4)(1-nabz)(4)] (3) have been determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction method. Crystal data for complex 1 are as follows: a = 14.208(3) ?, b = 18.227(4) ?, c = 14.398(8) ?; beta = 94.55(3) degrees; V = 3717.0(23) ?(3); space group = P2(1)/n, Z = 4. Crystal data for the complex 2 are as follows: a = b = 15.798(3) ?, c = 23.728(4) ?; V = 5921.7(20) ?(3); space group = I4(1)/a, Z = 16 for the Pd(1-nabz) unit. Crystal data for the complex 3 are as follows: a = b = 15.496(2) ?, c = 24.348(3) ?; V = 5846.3(20) ?(3); space group = I4(1)/a, Z = 16 for the Pt(1-nabz) unit. The mononuclear palladium(II) complex reveals short ortho-hydrogen.palladium distances of 2.66(7) and 2.48(7) ?. These short distances and (1)H NMR studies provide a M.H-C interaction which can be regarded as a three-center four-electron interaction. The molecular structures of 2 and 3 confirm the formation of unusual tetranuclear compounds featuring a rare C,N,S-tridentate ligand derived from orthometalation of pendant side arm. The structural and chemical properties of the mononuclear palladium(II) complex 1 clearly suggest that 1 is a potential intermediate in the formation of the tetranuclear complex 2 by orthometalation reactions.  相似文献
