A yellow, alkali-clearable azo disperse dye containing a carboxylic ester moiety was readily synthesized from the reactant p-aminobenzoic acid by successive diazotization, coupling reaction, chlorination and esterification with ethanol. Then its molecular structure was characterized by FTIR,1H NMR,13 C NMR,mass spectrometry and elemental analysis. The synthesized dye and a similar control dye containing the acylamide moiety(I) were applied to dyeing poly(ethylene terephthalate) fabric and their washing and rubbing fastness properties with different post-treatment methods(reduction clearing and alkali clearing) were examined and compared. It is found that the ester-containing disperse dye shows good alkali-clear ability on poly(ethylene terephthalate) fabric and contaminates little to environment due to the absence of reductants, as well as low toxicity and easy recycling of the hydrolysates.  相似文献

A series of naphthalimide‐based alkali‐clearable azo disperse dyes containing a fluorosulfonyl group was synthesized. 4‐Fluorosulfonylaniline, 4‐fluorosulfonyl‐2‐nitroaniline and 6‐chloro‐4‐fluorosulfonyl‐2‐nitroaniline as the diazo components were prepared from N‐acetylsulfanilyl chloride and were subsequently coupled with 4‐hydroxy‐N‐3‐methoxypropyl‐1, 8‐naphthalimide. The synthesized dyes and their intermediates were characterized by the use of DSC, FTIR, 1H NMR, 13C NMR, Mass spectroscopy and UV‐visible spectroscopic techniques. Spectrophotometric investigations of prepared dyes in different solvents were carried out in order to obtain their absorption maxima, molar extinction coefficients and solvatochromic effects. The obtained dyes were applied to polyester fabric by the HT method and exhibited good leveling, wash and sublimation fastnesses and moderate light fastness. The synthesized dyes showed that incorporated fluorosulfonyl group to these dyes can be converted to the dyes containing a water soluble sulfonate group in the relatively mild alkaline conditions.  相似文献

A series of novel 4-arylazo-3-hydroxythiophene disperse dyes was synthesized by heterocyclization of ethyl 2-arylhydrazono-2-phenylthiocarbamoyl acetates with a variety of α-halogenated reagents. The structures of the synthesized dyes were confirmed by UV-Vis, IR, 1H NMR, and MS spectroscopic techniques and elemental analysis. The dyes were applied to conventional polyester fabric by high temperature exhaust dyeing. These dyes were found to give orange to reddish-violet shades with very good depth, levelness, and brightness on polyester fabric. The dyed fabric showed moderate to good light fastness and very good fastness to washing and perspiration. Also the position of color in CIELAB coordinates (L*, a*, b*, H*, and C*) was assessed. Novel bisazo dichloro-s-triazinyl (DCT) reactive dyes (5a–h) containing 1,3,4-oxadiazole molecule as a tetrazo component were synthesized and applied on silk, wool and cotton fibers by exhaust dyeing method. The structures of these dyes were confirmed by UV–vis, FT-IR, 1H and 13C NMR and elemental analyses. The exhaustion, fixation and fastness properties of the dyed fabric were assessed and the results demonstrated that these dyes showed moderate to very good light and good to excellent washing and rubbing fastness properties. The colorimetric data (L1, a1, b1, C1, H1, K/S) of these dyes have also been studied in detail.  相似文献

4,4′-Methylene-bis-metanilic acid (A) was synthesized by the reaction between metanilic acid and formaldehyde. The compound (A) was used as a bifunctional middle component in the preparation of several symmetrical hot brand bis azo reactive dyes. The compound (A) was tetrazotized and coupled with various m-nitro anilino cyanurated coupling component to give various hot brand bis azo reactive dyes. The entired compounds have been identified by IR, 1H NMR spectra and elemental analysis. The dyes were applied on silk, wool and cotton fabrics and their fastness properties were evaluated. All the dyes give good fastness properties. The percentage dye bath exhaustion was also been studied.  相似文献

Three new N-alkylsulfonamide-containing phenylazopyrazolone dyes have been synthesized by reaction of sulfonyl chloride intermediates with different saturated aliphatic amines and their molecular structures were confirmed by FTIR,~1H NMR and MS. The dyes were applied to unmodified polypropylene fabric.These dyes showed high exhaustion as well as higher levels of fastness to washing,sublimation and rubbing compared with C.I.Disperse Yellow 16.The results showed the N-alkylsulfonamide- containing dyes were suitable for dyeing unmodified PP fiber and exhibited good color depth and fastness properties.  相似文献

A group of novel monoazo disperse dyes containing carboxylic acid‐1,8‐naphthalimide group has been synthesized. All intermediates and dyes were purified by recrystalization and the column chromatography method. The purified products were characterized by 1H NMR, 13C NMR, FTIR, DSC, UV‐VIS and Elemental Analysis. Spectrophotometric investigations of the synthesized dyes in different solvents were carried out in order to obtain their absorption maxima, molar extinction coefficients and solvatochromic effects. The absorption maxima of the synthesized dyes in acetone varied (513‐549 nm) and the molar extinction coefficient was (17405‐38939 l/mol cm). By changing the media from chloroform to DMF, the solvatochromism effect for all dyes increased. Dispersion of the synthesized dyes was prepared in water containing dispersing agent and applied to polyester fabrics. The dyed fabrics showed that all of the synthesized dyes were suitable for coloring polyester fibers, producing deep red to bluish red with very good fastness properties.  相似文献

New Mn(II), Ni(II), Co(II) and Cu(II) complexes of an azo dye ligand based on p ‐phenylenediamine with 5‐nitro‐8‐hydroxyquinoline were synthesized and characterized using elemental analysis, inductive coupled plasma analysis, molar conductance, powder X‐ray diffraction, thermogravimetric analysis, magnetic moment measurements, and infrared, 1H NMR, electron ionization mass and UV–visible spectral studies. The spectral and analytical data reveal that the azo dye ligand acts as a monobasic bidentate ligand via deprotonated OH and nitrogen atom of the quinoline ring. The data support the formulation of all complexes with a 2:1 ligand‐to‐metal ratio, except the Mn(II) complex that has a mononuclear formula. All complexes have an octahedral structure. The molar conductance data reveal that all the metal complexes are non‐electrolytic in nature. From the X‐ray data, the average particle size of the ligand and its complexes is 0.32–0.64 nm. The colour fastness to light, washing, perspiration, sublimation and rubbing of the prepared ligand and its complexes on polyester fabrics and colorimetric properties were measured. The results reveal that the ligand and its complexes have a good to moderate affinity to polyester fibres.  相似文献

The bio‐based polyester, poly(ethylene 2,5‐furandicarboxylate) (PEF), was modified by 2,2,4,4‐tetramethyl‐1,3‐cyclobutanediol (CBDO) via copolymerization and a series of copolyesters poly(ethylene‐co‐2,2,4,4‐tetramethyl‐1,3‐cyclobutanediol 2,5‐furandicarboxylate)s (PETFs) were prepared. After their chemical structures and sequence distribution were confirmed by nuclear magnetic resonance (1H‐NMR and 13C‐NMR), their thermal, mechanical, and gas barrier properties were investigated in detail. Results showed that when the content of CBDO unit in the copolyesters was increased up to 10 mol%, the completely amorphous copolyesters with good transparency could be obtained. In addition, with the increasing content of CBDO units in the copolyesters, the glass transition temperature was increased from 88.9 °C for PET to 94.3 °C for PETF‐23 and the tensile modulus was increased from 3000 MPa for PEF to 3500 MPa for PETF‐23. The barrier properties study demonstrated that although the introduction of CBDO units would increase the O2 and CO2 permeability of PEF slightly, PECF‐10 still showed better or similar barrier properties compared with those of PEN and PEI. In one word, the modified PEF copolyesters exhibited better mechanical properties, higher glass transition temperature, good barrier properties, and better clarity. They have great potential to be the bio‐based alternative to the popular petroleum‐based poly(ethylene terephthalate) (PET) when used as the beverage packaging materials. © 2017 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. A disperse and a disperse/reactive azo-dyes were prepared and characterised with spectroscopic methods. The complexes with β-cyclodextrin were prepared by a dry milling method. The characterisation of the complexes in solid state was performed by 13C CP MAS NMR, FT-IR, Raman spectroscopies and TGA–DTA analysis. The presence of the complexes in solution was evidenced with ESI-MS experiments. The products were used to dye synthetic (nylon, PET), natural (cotton) and cotton-PET blend fibres. Colour intensity and uniformity were evaluated by means of tristimulous colorimetry. β-Cyclodextrin, used as additive in dyeing baths, enhanced the colour intensity and uniformity of dyed samples. The complexes gave rise to a generalised good result. The disperse/reactive dye showed better fastness to washing properties on nylon 6 and cotton fibres. β-Cyclodextrin easily substituted the surface active agents, normally used in industrially dyeing processes, without loss in dyeing quality as dyeing uniformity, intensity and washing fastness.  相似文献

To overcome migration problems of ferrocene‐based burning rate catalysts and to enhance burning rate of ammonium perchlorate (AP)‐based propellants, eleven ferrocene‐based compounds ( 1 – 11 ) were synthesized by the condensation reaction of ferrocenecarbonyl chloride with corresponding amines and alcohols. The synthesis of 1 – 11 was confirmed using 1H NMR, Fourier transform infrared and UV–visible spectroscopy. Their electrochemical properties were analyzed using cyclic voltammetry. The compounds showed redox behavior due to the presence of ferrocene. Their catalytic behavior in the thermal decomposition of AP was investigated using thermogravimetry (TG) and differential TG (DTG). In the presence of 5 wt% 1 – 11 , the thermal decomposition temperature of AP was significantly decreased. TG and DTG analyses showed that 1 – 11 had a good catalytic effect in the thermal decomposition of AP. Anti‐migration studies showed that migration of 1 – 11 was slower than that of 2,2‐bis(ethylferrocenyl)propane (catocene) and ferrocene. The effect of the presence of polar elements like oxygen and nitrogen on anti‐migration behavior of small ferrocene‐based compounds was also investigated. Oxygen‐containing compounds showed better anti‐migration behavior than nitrogen‐containing compounds.  相似文献

Some novel heterocyclic monoazo dyes based on 2-amino-5-mercapto-1,3,4-thiadizole have been synthesized by coupling with various N-phenylacrylamide derivatives. The dyeing performance of these dyes was assessed on polyester fabrics. IR and visible spectra of the dyes were examined. The percentage dye bath exhaustion, fixation, and various fastness properties of the dyes were also determined. These dyes were found to give brownish-orange to reddish-pink shades on dyeing with good depth, levelness, and brightness on fabric. The dyed fabric showed a good to excellent fastness to washing, rubbing, perspiration, and sublimation.  相似文献

Under the guidance of the finding that the tyrosine residues in proteins could undergo three-component Mannich-type reactions with formaldehyde and electron-rich aniline-containing compounds,which forms covalent bonding connections between the protein of interest and the aniline with high levels of selectivity under relatively mild conditions,an orange aromatic primary amine-containing acid dye AMODB was designed and readily synthesized.The molecular structure was characterized by FTIR,~1H NMR,mass spectrometry and elemental analysis.The synthesized dye and a similar control dye(C.I.Acid Yellow 11) without primary amine groups were applied to dye silk fabric by three dyeing processes:Mannich-type dyeing(with and without the addition of formaldehyde) and acidic dyeing.Their washing and rubbing fastness properties with different dyeing methods were examined and compared.It was found that the dyed silk fabric with AMODB by the Mannich-type dyeing showed higher color depth,better anti-stripping ability to DMF and better washing fastness than those of the dyed silk fabric with C.I.Acid Yellow 11 by acidic dyeing due to the covalent bond formation between the dye chromophore of AMODB and silk fiber.In addition,mild Mannich dyeing conditions suitable for silk(AMODB at 3%owf,75:1 liquor-to-goods ratio,dyebath pH 5.5,30℃,10 h) were provided.  相似文献

Ten new monoazo disperse dyes (4aj) have been synthesized by coupling of diazotized 2-amino-4-(2′,4′-dichlorophenyl)-1,3 thiazole (2) with various N-alkyl derivatives of substituted aniline (3aj) and their dyeing performance on polyester fiber has been assessed. These dyes are characterized by elemental analysis, UV–vis spectra, IR and NMR spectroscopy. The absorption maxima (λmax) were recorded in DMF and were found to be in the range of 530–600 nm. The dyed polyester fabric showed fair to very good light fastness and very good to excellent washing and rubbing fastness properties with superior depth and levelness.  相似文献

A series of azocalix[4]arene dyes (1–7) were prepared by linking 2,4-di-chloroaniline, 2,4,5-tri-chloroaniline, 2,4-di-nitroaniline, 2-nitro p-toluidin, 4-nitro o-toluidin, 5-nitro o-toluidin and sulfanilic acid, to calix[4]arene through a diazo-coupling reaction. These compounds were characterized by elemental analysis, FT-IR, 1H NMR, 13C NMR, MALDI-TOF, UV–Vis., DSC, and DTA. The absorption properties of the synthesized dyes were studied and the application of the water soluble dye on cotton and wool was discussed. Nowadays, introducing self‐cleaning properties on various fabrics under daylight irradiation for automotive and upholstery application is in a central point of research. This can be achieved by application of metal‐doped TiO2 nano particles on the textile fabrics. Here, alkali hydrolysis of polyester fabric has been carried out along with synthesis of Cu2O/TiO2 nanoparticles in a single‐step process by using sonochemical technique. CuSO4.5H2O was used as a source of copper in the presence of glucose as reducing and stabilizing agent. Moreover, central composite design based on response surface methodology (RSM) was used to determine the role of variables (CuSO4.5H2O, glucose and pH) and their effects on the self‐cleaning properties and weight of the fabric. The self‐cleaning property was investigated by degradation of Methylene blue on the surface of the treated fabrics under daylight. Further, the tensile properties, colorimetric measurement, and washing fastness of the treated fabric produced in the optimum conditions were investigated. The morphology of Cu2O/TiO2 nanoparticles was examined using X‐ray diffraction and field emission scanning electron microscopy (FESEM). The new polyester fabric obtained through in situ synthesis of Cu2O/TiO2 nanoparticles can be used as a desirable stable fabric with high tensile strength and visible‐light self‐cleaning properties.  相似文献

A series of 2‐methyl‐5‐nitroaniline derivatives, 5a – 5k and 6a – 6f , were synthesized in order to determine their in vitro antimicrobial activity. The chemical structures of the synthesized compounds were confirmed by elemental analyses, UV‐visible, FT‐IR, 1H NMR and 13C NMR spectral studies. The structure‐activity relationships of the synthesized compounds were also discussed. Among the synthesized compounds, 5f , 5d , 6b and 6e showed good antimicrobial activity compared to standard drugs.  相似文献

The calcium salt of mono(hydroxyethoxyethyl)phthalate [Ca(HEEP)2] was synthesized by the reaction of diethylene glycol, phthalic anhydride, and calcium acetate. Calcium‐containing poly(urethane ether)s (PUEs) were synthesized by the reaction of hexamethylene diisocyanate (HMDI) or tolylene 2,4‐diisocyanate (TDI) with a mixture of Ca(HEEP)2 and poly(ethylene glycol) (PEG300 or PEG400) with di‐n‐butyltin dilaurate as a catalyst. A series of calcium‐containing PUEs of different compositions were synthesized with Ca(HEEP)2/PEG300 (or PEG400)/diisocyanate (HMDI or TDI) molar ratios of 2:2:4, 3:1:4, and 1:3:4 so that the coating properties of the PUEs could be studied. Blank PUEs without calcium‐containing ionic diols were also prepared by the reaction of PEG300 or PEG400 with HMDI or TDI. The PUEs were well characterized by Fourier transform infrared, 1H and 13C NMR, solid‐state cross‐polarity/magic‐angle‐spinning 13C NMR, viscosity, solubility, and X‐ray diffraction studies. The thermal properties of the polymers were also studied with thermogravimetric analysis and differential scanning calorimetry. The PUEs were applied as top coats on acrylic‐coated leather, and their physicomechanical properties were also studied. The coating properties of PUEs, such as the tensile strength, elongation at break, tear strength, water vapor permeability, flexing endurance, cold crack resistance, abrasion resistance, color fastness, and adhesive strength, were better than the standard values. © 2003 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Novel AB2‐type monomers such as 3,5‐bis(4‐methylolphenoxy)benzoic acid ( monomer 1 ), methyl 3,5‐bis(4‐methylolphenoxy) benzoate ( monomer 2 ), and 3,5‐bis(4‐methylolphenoxy)benzoyl chloride ( monomer 3 ) were synthesized. Solution polymerization and melt self‐polycondensation of these monomers yielded hydroxyl‐terminated hyperbranched aromatic poly(ether‐ester)s. The structure of these polymers was established using FTIR and 1H NMR spectroscopy. The molecular weights (Mw) of the polymers were found to vary from 2.0 × 103 to 1.49 × 104 depending on the polymerization techniques and the experimental conditions used. Suitable model compounds that mimic exactly the dendritic, linear, and terminal units present in the hyperbranched polymer were synthesized for the calculation of degree of branching (DB) and the values ranged from 52 to 93%. The thermal stability of the polymers was evaluated by thermogravimetric analysis, which showed no virtual weight loss up to 200 °C. The inherent viscosities of the polymers in DMF ranged from 0.010 to 0.120 dL/g. End‐group modification of the hyperbranched polymer was carried out with phenyl isocyanate, 4‐(decyloxy)benzoic acid and methyl red dye. The end‐capping groups were found to change the thermal properties of the polymers such as Tg. The optical properties of hyperbranched polymer and the dye‐capped hyperbranched polymer were investigated using ultraviolet‐absorption and fluorescence spectroscopy. © 2008 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
