Electrocatalysis of the oxidation of formaldehyde on silver‐palladium‐modified carbon ionic liquid electrode (AgPd/CILE) was investigated in 0.1 M NaOH. The electrochemical performance of the AgPd/CILE was compared with those of Pd/CILE and Ag/CILE. Ag plays an important role in the catalytic performance of AgPd nanocatalyst and yields an excellent antifouling effect. Amperometric measurements showed that AgPd/CILE is a promising sensor for the detection of formaldehyde in the range of 10.0 µM–70.0 mM with a sensitivity of 240.6 µA mM?1 cm?2 and a detection limit of 2 µM. The method is free from interference of methanol, ethanol and formic acid.  相似文献

This study investigates the electrocatalytic oxidation of glucose and some other carbohydrates on nickel/poly(o‐aminophenol) modified carbon paste electrode as an enzyme free electrode in alkaline solution. Poly(o‐aminophenol) was prepared by electropolymerization using a carbon paste electrode bulk modified with o‐aminophenol and continuous cyclic voltammetry in HClO4 solution. Then Ni(II) ions were incorporated to electrode by immersion of the polymeric modified electrode having amine group in 1 M Ni(II) ion solution. Cyclic voltammetric and chronoamperometric experiments were used for the electrochemical study of this modified electrode; a good redox behavior of Ni(OH)2/NiOOH couple at the surface of electrode can be observed, the capability of this modified electrode for catalytic oxidation of glucose and other carbohydrates was demonstrated. The amount of α and surface coverage (Γ*) of the redox species and catalytic chemical reaction rate constant (k) for each carbohydrate were calculated. Also, the electrocatalytic oxidation peak currents of all tested carbohydrates exhibit a good linear dependence on concentration and their quantification can be done easily.  相似文献

Poly(o‐anisidine) (POA) was formed by successive cyclic voltammetry in monomer solution containing sodium dodecyl sulfate (SDS) at the surface of carbon paste electrode. Then Ni(II) ions were incorporated to electrode by immersion of the polymeric modified electrode having amine group in 0.1 M Ni(II) ion solution. Cyclic voltammetric and chronoamperometric experiments were used for the electrochemical study of this modified electrode; a good redox behavior of Ni(OH)2/NiOOH couple at the surface of electrode can be observed. The capability of this modified electrode for catalytic oxidation of folic acid was demonstrated. The amount of α and surface coverage (Γ*) of the redox species and catalytic chemical reaction rate constant (k) for folic acid oxidation were calculated. The catalytic oxidation peak current of folic acid was linearly dependent on its concentration and a linear calibration curve was obtained in the range of 0.1 to 5 mM with a correlation coefficient of 0.9994. The limit of detection (3σ) was determined as 0.091 mM. This electrocatalytic oxidation was used as simple, selective and precise voltammetric method for determination of folic acid in pharmaceutical preparations.  相似文献

Single‐walled carbon nanotube (SWNT) and room temperature ionic liquid (i.e., 1‐butyl‐3‐methylimidazolium hexaflourophosphate, BMIMPF6) were used to fabricate paste modified glassy electrode (GCE). It was found that the electrode showed sensitive voltammetric response to xanthine (Xt). The detection limit was 2.0×10?9 M and the linear range was 5.0×10?9 to 5.0×10?6 M. The electrode also displayed good selectivity and repeatability. In the presence of uric acid (UA) and hypoxanthine (Hx) the response of Xt kept almost unchanged. Thus this electrode could find application in the determination of Xt in some real samples. The analytical performance of the BMIMPF6‐SWNT/GCE was demonstrated for the determination of Xt in human serum and urine samples.  相似文献

In this study, we prepared a modified carbon paste electrode consisting of Nickel entrapped in synthesized ZSM‐5 zeolite (Ni/ZMCPE). Then Ni(II) ions were incorporated to electrode by immersion of modified electrode in 1 M Ni(II) ion solution. Cyclic voltammetry and chronoamperometry experiments were used for electrochemical study of this modified electrode; a good redox behavior of Ni(OH)2/NiOOH couple at the surface of electrode can be observed, the excellent capability of this modified electrode for catalytic oxidation of formaldehyde was demonstrated during the anodic potential sweep in alkaline solution. The amount of transfer coefficient (α), surface coverage (Γ*) of the redox species and catalytic chemical reaction rate constant (k) for formaldehyde were evaluated. Thus, it can be a candidate as an anode for fuel cell application.  相似文献

The electrochemical behavior of tryptophan was studied at the carbon ionic liquid electrode (CILE) modified with gold nanoparticle (GNP). This electrode has a stable and excellent response toward tryptophan. Under optimum experimental conditions, the calibration curve was linear in the tryptophan concentration range of 5 to 900 µM with an excellent correlation coefficient (0.995). The experimental limit of detection was 4 µM. Contrary to many other electrodes, the oxidation of tryptophan on GNP/CILE does not result in electrode fouling. GNP/CILE has been effectively applied to the determination of tryptophan in composite amino acid injection.  相似文献

A new composite electrode has been fabricated based on coating multi‐walled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs) and n‐octylpyridinum hexafluorophosphate (OPPF6) ionic liquid composite on a glassy carbon (GC) electrode (OPPF6‐MWCNTs/GCE). This electrode shows very attractive electrochemical performances for electrooxidation of risperidone (RIS) compared to conventional electrodes using carbon and mineral oil, notably improved sensitivity and stability. The oxidation peak potentials in cyclic voltammogram of RIS on the OPPF6‐MWCNTs/GCE was occurred around 230 mV vs. SCE at Britton–Robinson (B–R) buffer (pH 4.0) at scan rate of 100 mV s?1. The electrochemical parameters such as diffusion coefficient (D), charge transfer coefficient (α) and the electron transfer rate constant (k/s) were determined using cyclic voltammetry. Under the optimized conditions, the peak current was linear to risperidone concentration over the concentration range of 10–200 nM with sensitivity of 0.016 μA/nM?1 using differential pulse voltammetry. The detection limit was 6.54 nM (S/N = 3). The electrode also displayed good selectivity and repeatability. In the presence of clozapine (CLZ) the response of RIS kept almost unchanged. Thus this electrode could find application in the determination of RIS in some real samples. The analytical performance of the OPPF6‐MWCNTs/GCE was demonstrated for the determination of RIS in human serum and pharmaceutical samples.  相似文献

An ionic liquid (IL) 1‐(3‐chloro‐2‐hydroxy‐propyl)‐3‐methylimidazolium trifluoroacetate was used as the modifier for the preparation of the modified carbon paste electrode (CPE). The IL‐CPE showed excellent electrocatalytic activity towards the oxidation of guanosine‐5′‐triphosphate (5′‐GTP) in a pH 5.0 Britton‐Robinson buffer solution. Due to the presence of high conductive IL on the electrode surface, the electrooxidation of 5′‐GTP was greatly promoted with a single well‐defined irreversible oxidation peak appeared. The electrode reaction was an adsorption‐controlled process and the electrochemical parameters of 5′‐GTP on IL‐CPE were calculated with the electron transfer coefficient (α) as 0.44, the electron transfer number (n) as 1.99, the apparent heterogeneous electron transfer rate constant (ks) as 2.21 × 10?9 s?1 and the surface coverage (ΓT) as 1.53 × 10?10 mol cm?2. Under the selected conditions a linear calibration curve between the oxidation peak currents and 5′‐GTP concentration was obtained in the range from 2.0 to 1000.0 μmol L?1 with the detection limit as 0.049 μmol L?1 (3σ) by differential pulse voltammetry. The proposed method showed good selectivity to the 5‘‐GTP detection without the interferences of coexisting substances and the practical application was checked by measurements of the artificial samples.  相似文献

In this paper a new electrochemical method based on the ionic liquid modified carbon paste electrode (IL‐CPE) was proposed for the determination of adenosine‐5′‐triphosphate (ATP) in a pH 4.5 Britton‐Robinson (B‐R) buffer solution. IL‐CPE was prepared by using 1‐butyl‐3‐methylimidazolium trifluoroacetate (BMIMCF3COO) as the modifier. Cyclic voltammetry was used to investigate the electrochemical behaviors of ATP on the IL‐CPE, and the results indicated that IL‐CPE exhibited strong electrocatalytic ability to promote the oxidation of ATP with a single well‐defined irreversible adsorption‐controlled oxidation peak appeared. The electrochemical reaction parameters of ATP were calculated with the results of the electron transfer coefficient (α) as 0.40, the electron transfer number (n) as 1.17, the apparent heterogeneous electron transfer rate constant (ks) as 3.66 × 10‐6 s‐1 and the surface coverage (Γτ) as 2.48 × 10‐9 mol cm‐2. Under the selected conditions the proposed IL‐CPE showed good performances to the ATP detection in the concentration range from 0.1 to 1000.0 μmol L‐1 with the detection limit as 3.65 × 10‐8 mol L‐1 (3σ) by differential pulse voltammetry. The method showed good selectivity to the ATP detection without the interferences of coexisting substances and was successfully applied to the ATP injection samples detection with satisfactory results.  相似文献

A new method has been described for carbaryl determination using a simple electrochemical sensor. The unique properties of poly‐pPhenylenediamine and ionic liquid were exploited to fabricate carbon paste electrode modified with composite based on conducting polymer/ionic liquid. Electrode surface characterization was performed by electrochemical methods (cyclic voltammetry and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy) and by scanning electron microscopy. Differential pulse voltammetry was employed for the detection of carbaryl in acetate buffer solution. Different parameters affecting the carbaryl response were optimized such as ionic liquid amounts, cycle number of polymerization and monomer concentration, pH, and accumulation time. Under the optimum experimental conditions, a linear response was obtained between 0.5 and 200 μmol/L, with detection limit of 0.09 μmol/L. The developed sensor offered satisfactory results for carbaryl detection in spring water and fruit samples.  相似文献

In this paper two kinds of ionic liquids (ILs) were used for the construction of a myoglobin (Mb) electrochemical biosensor. Firstly a hydrophilic ionic liquid of 1‐ethyl‐3‐methylimidazolium tetrafluoroborate (EMIMBF4) was used as binder to prepare a carbon ionic liquid electrode (CILE), then a Nafion and hydrophobic ionic liquid of 1‐butyl‐3‐methylimidazolium hexafluorophosphate (BMIMPF6) composite film was applied on the surface of the CILE. The direct electrochemistry of Mb in the Nafion‐BMIMPF6/CILE was achieved with the cathodic and anodic peak potentials located at ?0.345 V and ?0.213 V (vs. SCE). The formal potential (E°′) was located at ?0.279 V, which was the characteristic of Mb FeIII/FeII redox couples. The electrochemical behaviors of Mb in the Nafion‐ionic liquid composite film modified CILE were carefully investigated. The Mb modified electrode showed good electrocatalytic behaviors to the reduction of trichloroacetic acid (TCA) and NaNO2. Based on the Nafion‐BMIMPF6/Mb/CILE, a new third generation reagentless biosensor was constructed.  相似文献

Electroanalysis of benazepril HCl was successful using a carbon paste electrode modified with an ionic liquid crystal ( 1‐butyl‐1‐methylpiperidinium hexafluorophosphate) in presence of sodium dodecyl sulfate. The electrode performance was compared to ionic liquids (1‐n‐hexyl‐3‐methyl imidazolium tetrafluoroborate and 1‐butyl‐4‐methyl pyridinium tetrafluoroborate). Electrochemical determination of benazepril HCl was in the linear dynamic range of 8.89×10?7 to 1.77×10?5 mol L?1 (correlation coefficient 0.999) and LOD 7.17×10?9 mol L?1. benazepril HCl was determined using this sensor in presence of urine metabolites such as uric acid, ascorbic acid. Binary mixtures of dopamine/benazepril and amlodipine/benazepril were also determined successfully.  相似文献

A carbon‐based electrode using multiwall carbon nanotube as a modifier and room temperature ionic liquid as a binder has been applied for the determination of diazepam (DZP) and oxazepam (OZP) in real samples including serum, urine and tablets. Square wave voltammetry as an appropriate electrochemical technique was applied to achieve improved limits of detection and higher sensitivities. The electrochemical studies were investigated under various experimental conditions such as pH, buffer concentration, ionic strength, deposition potential, deposition time and scan rate to achieve higher sensitivities. Linear concentration ranges for DZP and OZP were 0.02–0.76 mg L?1 and 0.05–1.90 mg L?1 with the detection limits of 4.1 µg L?1 and 5.8 µg L?1, respectively. The proposed method was successfully applied for the analysis of commercially available tablets as well as serum and urine samples and satisfactory results were obtained.  相似文献

A new electrochemical biosensor was constructed by immobilization of hemoglobin (Hb) on a DNA modified carbon ionic liquid electrode (CILE), which was prepared by using 1‐ethyl‐3‐methylimidazolium tetrafluoroborate (EMIMBF4) as the modifier. UV‐vis absorption spectroscopic result indicated that Hb remained its native conformation in the composite film. The fabricated Nafion/Hb/DNA/CILE was characterized by scanning electron microscopy (SEM), electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) and cyclic voltammetry (CV). A pair of well‐defined redox peaks was obtained on the modified electrode, indicated that the Nafion and DNA composite film provided an excellent biocompatible microenvironment for keeping the native structure of Hb and promoting the direct electron transfer rate of Hb with the basal electrode. The electrochemical parameters of Hb in the composite film were further calculated with the results of the charge transfer coefficient (α) and the apparent heterogeneous electron transfer rate constant (ks) as 0.41 and 0.31 s?1. The proposed electrochemical biosensor showed good electrocatalytic response to the reduction of trichloroacetic acid (TCA), H2O2, NO and the apparent Michaelis–Menten constant (KMapp) for the electrocatalytic reaction was calculated, respectively.  相似文献

This paper describes a highly sensitive and label‐free electrochemical immunosensor for the detection of 1‐pyrenebutyric acid (PBA) which is based on a graphene (GS), chitosan (CS), and ionic liquid (IL) composite modified glassy carbon electrode (GS‐CS‐IL/GCE). The modification process was monitored by transmission electron microscopy (TEM) and cyclic voltammetry (CV). Due to the synergistic effects of GS, CS, and IL, the biosensor exhibits excellent selectivity to PBA. The current response of the proposed immunosensor decreases linearly at two concentration ranges from 0.01 to 5 and from 5 to 150 ng mL?1 with a detection limit of 0.01 ng mL?1.  相似文献

A novel non‐enzymatic glucose sensor based on nickel hydroxide and intercalated graphene with ionic liquid (G‐IL) nanocomposite modified glass carbon electrode was fabricated. Scanning electron microscope, Fourier transform infrared spectra and energy dispersive X‐ray spectroscopy of the nanocomposite confirmed the morphology and ingredient of Ni(OH)2 as well as G‐IL. Moreover, experimental results of cyclic voltammetry, electrochemical impedance spectroscopy and chronoamperometry indicated the sensing properties of Ni(OH)2 at Ni(OH)2/G‐IL modified electrode towards the typical electrocatalytic oxidation process of glucose at 0.43 V in 0.10 M NaOH. The current response was linearly related to glucose concentration in a range from 0.5 to 500 μM with a detection limit of 0.2 μM (S/N = 3) and sensitivity of 647.8 μA mM?1 cm?2. The response time of the sensor to glucose was less than 2 s. This work may be expected to develop an excellent electrochemical sensing platform of G‐IL as a catalysis carrier.  相似文献

In this paper a carbon ionic liquid electrode (CILE) was fabricated by using ionic liquid 1‐ethyl‐3‐methylimidazolium ethylsulphate ([EMIM]EtOSO3) as the modifier and further used as the working electrode for the sensitive anodic stripping voltammetric detection of Pb2+. The characteristics of the CILE were investigated by cyclic voltammetry (CV) and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS). In pH 4.5 NaAc‐HAc buffer Pb2+ was accumulated on the surface of CILE due to the extraction effect of IL and reduced at a negative potential (‐1.20 V). Then the reduced Pb was oxidized by differential pulse anodic stripping voltammetry with an obvious stripping peak appeared at ?0.67 V. Under the optimal conditions Pb2+ could be detected in the concentration range from 1.0 × 10?8 mol/L to 1.0 × 10?6 mol/L with the linear regression equation as Ip(μA) = ?0.103 C (μmol/L) + 0.0376 (γ = 0.999) and the detection limit as 3.0 × l0?9 mol/L (3σ). Interferences from other metal ions were investigated and Cd2+ could be simultaneously detected in the mixture solution. The proposed method was further applied to the trace levels of Pb2+ detection in water samples with satisfactory results.  相似文献

A glassy carbon electrode (GCE) modified with multiwalled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs) and a hydrophobic ionic liquid (IL), was used for the simultaneous voltammetric determination of theophylline (TP) and guaifenesin (GF). The results showed that the oxidations of TP and GF were facilitated at modified electrode and peak‐to‐peak separation at MWCNT? IL/GCE (252 mV) was larger than that observed at unmodified GCE (165 mV). Voltammetric signals for TP and GF exhibited linear ranges of 0.5 to 98.0 µM (R2>0.99) and 1.5 to 480.0 µM (R2>0.99), respectively. The method was used to estimate TP and GF contents in some real samples.  相似文献

Carbon paste electrode made of graphite and ionic liquid n‐octylpyridinum hexafluorophosphate (OPFP) displays many attractive electroanalytical abilities towards lots of species, allowing sensitive, low‐potential, simple, low‐cost, and stable performances. Herein a new hypothesis is proposed to explain the formation of these performances based on the results of electrochemical, scanning electron microscopic and transmission electron microscopic investigations. The mechanical force produces mono‐ or multi‐layered graphene during the grinding process. And the OPFP molecules are prone to combine with the graphene, which cause the avoidance of the agglomeration of the exfoliated flakes. The presence of graphene, which is edge plane characteristic, provides high density of electrochemical reactive sites on the surface of the electrode.  相似文献
