Global Existence for a Class of Non-Fickian Polymer-penetrant Systems

This paper deals with a class of strongly coupled and highly degenerate nonlinear parabolic systems, which arises from a model describing non-Fickian diffusion of penetrant into glassy polymers. By means of a fixed point argument and a priori estimates, we establish the global existence and uniqueness for the systems.

研究半导体物理中出现的漂移—扩散模型,这是一个关于带电粒子浓度n,p,静电位ψ的抛物—椭圆耦合方程组,并带有混合初边值条件.对初值在L2+(Ω)时弱解的存在性展开讨论,利用正则化方法和适当的函数变换,使抛物型方程的解具有正下界n,p≥ε>0,同时得到一系列先验估计.然后通过紧性引理和Schauder不动点定理,得到初值在L2+(Ω)时弱解的存在性.

应用能量估计方法和Gagliardo-Nirenberg型不等式证明了一类强耦合反应扩散系统整体解的存在性和一致有界性,该系统是具有阶段结构的两种群Lotka-Volterra捕食者-食饵交错扩散模型的推广.通过构造Lyapunov函数给出了该系统正平衡点全局渐近稳定的充分条件.

本文采用能量方法和Bootstrap技巧证明了当空间维数n＜10时一类带Beddington-DeAngelis功能反应项的捕食者-食饵交错扩散模型整体解的存在性.

Global existence and asymptotic behavior for the compressible Navier–Stokes equations with a non‐autonomous external force and a heat source

In this paper, we prove the global existence and asymptotic behavior, as time tends to infinity, of solutions in Hⁱ (i=1, 2) to the initial boundary value problem of the compressible Navier–Stokes equations of one‐dimensional motion of a viscous heat‐conducting gas in a bounded region with a non‐autonomous external force and a heat source. A Remark on Global Existence in H^4 for a Nonlinear Thermoviscoelasticity Equations with Non-monotone Pressure

We consider a one-dimensional continuous model of nutron star,described by a compressible thermoviscoelastic system with a non-monotone equation of state,due to the effective Skyrme nuclear interaction between particles.We will prove that,despite a possible, destabilizing influence of the pressure,which is non-monotone and not always positive,the presence of viscosity and a sufficient thermal dissipation dcscribc the global existence of solutions in H~4 with a mixed free boundary problem for our model.     

Global existence of solutions to a hyperbolic-parabolic system

In this paper, we investigate the global existence of solutions to a hyperbolic-parabolic model of chemotaxis arising in the theory of reinforced random walks. To get -estimates of solutions, we construct a nonnegative convex entropy of the corresponding hyperbolic system. The higher energy estimates are obtained by the energy method and a priori assumptions.

     

Existence of a Global Solution to One Model Problem of Atmosphere Dynamics

We consider a model problem of compressible viscous fluid dynamics in the two-dimensional case. We prove a global existence theorem.

This paper deals with the global existence and blow-up of positive solutions to the systems: u_t = ∇(u^∇u) + u¹ + v^a v_t = ∇(v^n∇v) + u^b + v^k in B_R × (0, T) \frac{∂u}{∂η} = u^αv^p, \frac{∂v}{∂η} = u^qv^β on S_R × (0, T) u(x, 0) = u_0(x), v(x, 0} = v_0(x) in B_R We prove that there exists a global classical positive solution if and only if l ≤ l, k ≤ 1, m + α ≤ 1, n + β ≤ 1, pq ≤ (1 - m - α)(1 - n - β),ab ≤ 1, qa ≤ (1 - n - β) and pb ≤ (1 - m - α).     

THE LOCAL AND GLOBAL EXISTENCE OF THE SOLUTIONS OF HYPERBOLIC-PARABOLIC SYSTEM MODELING BIOLOGICAL PHENOMENA

The authors prove the local existence and uniqueness of weak solution of a hyperbolic-parabolic system and establish the global existence of the weak solution for this system for the spatial dimension n = 1.     

Asymptotic Behavior for Global Smooth Solution to a One-dimensional Nonlinear Thermoviscoelastic System

This paper is concerned with asymptotic behavior, as time tends to infinity, of globally defined smooth (large) solutions to the system in one-dimensional nonlinear thermoviscoelasticity. Our results show that the global smooth solution approaches to the solution in the H¹ norm to the corresponding stationary problem, as time tends to infinity.

Global Existence of Smooth Solutions to Three Dimensional Hall-MHD System with Mixed Partial Viscosity

We investigate the global existence of smooth solutions to the three dimensional generalized Hall-MHD system with mixed partial viscosity in this work. The diffusion of mixed partial viscosity is weaker than that of full viscosity, which cases new difficulty in proving global smooth solutions. Moreover, Hall term heightens the level of nonlinearity of the standard MHD system. Global smooth solutions are established by using energy method and the bootstrapping argument, provided that the initial data is enough small.
