Diosmetin, 5,7,3'-trihydroxy-4'-methoxyflavone shows chemopreventive, antimutagenic, and antiallergic effects. On the other hand, chrysoeriol, 5,7,4'-trihydroxy-3'-methoxyflavone induced nodABC-lacZ in Rhizobium meliloti. Both of them belong to hydroxymethoxy- flavones. One major difference between diosmetin and chrysoeriol is the substituted position of hydroxyl and methoxyl groups. In order to elucidate the relationships between their structures and activity, one of the first things to be done is the determination of their structures. However, most flavones occur widely in nature, and thus it is difficult to obtain in sufficient amounts from natural sources to identify their structures. Assignments of NMR data of several hydroxymethoxyflavones may help us to identify novel flavonoid compounds isolated from natural sources based on their NMR experiments. Therefore, we report here the complete assignments of 1H and 13C NMR data of 13 hydroxymethoxyflavones. 相似文献

Methacrylonitrile-styrene-methyl methacrylate (N/S/M) terpolymers of different monomer concentrations were prepared by bulk polymerization. The terpolymer compositions were determined by quantitative 13C{1H} NMR spectra and compared with those calculated by Goldfinger's equation using comonomer reactivity ratios: rNS=0.30, rSN=0.45; rNM=0.91, rMN=0.88; rSM=0.52, rMS=0.47. The overlapping and complex 13C{1H} and 1H NMR spectra of the terpolymers were assigned with the help of distortionless enhancement by polarization transfer and two-dimensional (2D) 13C-1H heteronuclear single quantum coherence experiments. The various vicinal and geminal couplings between the protons in the polymer chains can be seen in the 2D total correlated spectroscopy experiments. 相似文献

From the antibacterial fraction of the roots of Garcinia kola, 3',4',4',5,5',7,7'-heptahydroxy-3,8'-biflavanone (GB1) was isolated as the major constituent, whose interesting conformations were studied on the basis of its 1D and 2D NMR spectra obtained at different temperatures and in different solvents. GB1 showed antibacterial activities against methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) and vancomycin-resistant enterococci (VRE) with MIC of 32 and 128 microg/ml, respectively. 相似文献

Complete (1)H and (13)C NMR signal assignments of two lactucin-type sesquiterpene lactone glycosides, derivatives of 11β,13-dihydrolactucin, isolated from roots of Picris conyzoides, were achieved by one- and two-dimensional NMR experiments, allowing the correction of previously published data for cichorioside B and the structure elucidation of its new ester with 3-hydroxy-2-methylpropanoic acid. The normal levels and types of glycoalkaloids found in commercial varieties of potato (Solanum tuberosum) appear to present no hazard to human health. However when wild Solanum species are used in breeding endeavors, new and untested glycoalkaloids may be introduced. Recent studies of domestic crosses with a wild Solanum oplocense accession indicated that the levels of a non‐indigenous glycoalkaloid appeared associated with reduced defoliation by the Colorado potato beetle. The non‐indigenous glycoalkaloid was isolated from foliage of the wild S. oplocense accession and unambiguously characterized by high‐resolution electrospray ionization mass spectrometry and NM analysis as the glycoalkaloid dehydrocommersonine. Salens, derived from 1,2‐ethylenediamine and salicylaldehydes, have been widely used as ligands for metal complexes which have been showing enormous potential in chemical properties of asymmetric catalysts as well as biological properties such as anticancer agents. Almost all of the salen–metal complexes with their corresponding metal (II)‐complexes show the evidences of chelation of two oxygens in salens. However, several metal (II) complexes, especially cobalt (II) complexes, could not show NMR spectra due to their paramagnetism. Recently, it has been reported that one of the cobalt (III) complexes was used for NMR spectroscopy to evaluate its stereoselectivity as a catalyst. Even though many salen ligands are known, their NMR data are not assigned completely. It was possible that modification in northern part of salen with 2‐hydroxyphenyl group afforded another oxygen chelation site in salen ligand. Here we report that synthesis and full NMR assignment of new salen ligands, which form meso 1,2‐bis(2‐hydroxyphenyl)ethylenediamine) and their cobalt (III) complexes. The assignments of 1H and 13C NMR data obtained in this experiment can help us to predict the NMR data of other salen ligands. Copyright © 2008 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd. 相似文献

Complete 1H and 13C spectral assignments are reported for six saponins from the pericarp of Sapindus trifoliatus (Hindi name: Reetha) collected from Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra, India, using only 1D and 2D NMR methods. The structures of the compounds were elucidated as hederagenin 3-O-(3-O-acetyl-beta-D-xylopyranosyl)-(1-3)-alpha-L-rhamnopyranosyl-(1-2)-alpha-L-ara-binopyranoside, hederagenin 3-O-(4-O-acetyl-beta-D-xylop-yranosyl)-(1-3)-alpha-L-rhamnopyranosyl-(1-2)-alpha-L-arabinop-yranoside, hederagenin 3-O-(3,4-O-diacetyl-beta-D-xylopy-ranosyl)-(1-3)-alpha-L-rhamnopyranosyl-(1-2)-alpha-L-arabinopy-ranoside, hederagenin 3-O-(3,4-O-diacetyl-alpha-L-arabinop-yranosyl)-(1-3)-alpha-L-rhamnopyranosyl-(1-2)-alpha-L-arabinop-yranoside, hederagenin 3-O-(beta-D-xylopyranosyl)-(1-3)-alpha-L-rhamnopyranosyl-(1-2)-alpha-L-arabinopyranoside and he-deragenin 3-O-(alpha-L-arabinopyranosyl)-(1-3)-alpha-L-rhamno-pyranosyl-(1-2)-alpha-L-arabinopyranoside. It is concluded that saponins of this complexity approach the limit of structural complexity, which can be solved by NMR alone, precisely and quickly. 相似文献

The structures of three benzylidenebenzyl butyrolactone lignans (gossypifan, carthamogenin, and savinin) have been established on basis of 1H NMR and 13C NMR spectroscopic data. The 1H NMR and 13C NMR spectra of these lignans have been fully assigned by the use of techniques such as gCOSY, non-edited gHSQC, and gHMBC. Complete assignment and most homonuclear hydrogen coupling constant measurements were performed, also providing enough data for the determination of the relative stereochemistry. 相似文献
