A new diphenyl ether methyl 2-(2-formyl-3-hydroxy-5-methylphenoxy)-5-hydroxy-3-methoxybenzoate (3), together with four known compounds, asterric acid (1), methyl asterrate (2), 9(Z),12(Z)-nonadecadienoic acid (4) and orsellinic acid (5), were isolated from the Phoma sp. strain SHZK-2, which was isolated from a polluted environment in southern China. The structures of these compounds were determined by spectroscopic methods. Cytotoxicities of compounds against HEPG2 cell and Raji cell lines were preliminarily evaluated by the MTT method.  相似文献

A new 3-benzylphthalide, scorzoveratrin 4'-O-β-glucoside (1), together with the known 3-benzylphthalides, scorzoveratrin (2) and scorzoveratrozit (3), the caffeoyl derivatives, chlorogenic acid methyl ester (4), 4,5-dicaffeoylquinic acid (5), 4,5-dicaffeoylquinic acid methyl ester (6), 3,5-dicaffeoylquinic acid (7) and caffeic acid (8) were isolated from the subaerial parts of Scorzonera latifolia (Fisch. & Mey.) DC. All secondary metabolites were assigned using physicochemical and spectroscopic data. The known compounds 2-8 were isolated for the first time from this species.  相似文献

Four new aromatic allenic ethers, (7E)-3-(4-buta-2,3-dienyloxy-3-methoxy-phenyl)-acrylic acid methyl ester (1), (7E)-3-[4-(4-buta-2,3-dienyloxy-benzyloxy)-phenyl]-acrylic acid methyl ester (2), 4-(4-buta-2,3-dienyloxy-benzyloxy)-benzoic acid methyl ester (3), (7E)-3-[4-(4-buta-2,3- dienyloxy-benzyloxy)-3-methoxy-phenyl]-acrylic acid methyl ester (4) were isolated from the fungus Xylaria sp. No. 2508. The structures of those compounds were determined by analysis of spectroscopic data, mainly 2D NMR experiments.  相似文献

One new compound, 10-hydroxy-gamma-dodecalactone (1) and three natural new compounds, 11-hydroxy-gamma-dodecalactone (2), 2-(2-hydroxyethyl)phenol (3) and 12-hydroxydodecanoic acid methyl ester (4), together with eight known compounds, ergostatrien-3beta-ol, ergosterol peroxide, methyl (4-hydroxyphenyl)acetate, vanillin, 4-hydroxybenzaldehyde, hexadecanoic acid, 5-methoxymethylfuran-2-carbaldehyde and 5-hydroxymethylfuran-2-carbaldehyde, all were isolated from the submerged whole broth of Antrodia camphorata. The structures of 1 and 2 were principally elucidated by spectral evidence and the absolute configuration was elucidated by the modified Mosher's method.  相似文献

Three new compounds, 2,4‐dimethoxy‐6‐methylbenzene‐1,3‐diol ( 1 ), salmoquinone ( 2 ), and 3‐(4‐hydroxyphenyl)‐4‐isobutyl‐1H‐pyrrole‐2,5‐dione ( 3 ), together with six known compounds, 2‐methoxy‐6‐methyl‐p‐benzoquinone ( 4 ), 2,3‐dimethoxy‐5‐methyl‐p‐benzoquinone ( 5 ), 2‐hydroxy‐5‐methoxy‐3‐methyl‐p‐benzoquinone ( 6 ), eburcoic acid ( 7 ), fomefficinic acid C ( 8 ), and a pyrroledione ( 9 ), were isolated from the mycelium of Antrodia salmonea. The structures of these compounds were elucidated by spectrometric analyses including IR, NMR, and MS. Among these compounds, 4 and 5 exhibited cytotoxicity against KB, HepG2, and H2058 cell lines.  相似文献

The methanol extract of the seeds of Phytolacca americana was reinvestigated to yield three new 1,4-benzodioxane-type compounds, americanoic acid methyl ester (1), isoamericanoic acid A methyl ester (2), and 9'-O-methylamericanol A (3) along with the previously isolated neolignans 6-9. The structures of 1-3 were characterized by 2D NMR and long-range selective proton-decoupling (LSPD) techniques. The neuritogenic effects of compounds 1-3, and dicarboxilic acids 4 and 5, which had been previously synthesized with horseradish peroxidase-catalyzed oxidative coupling of caffeic acid, were examined in primary cultured rat cortical neurons. Americanoic acid A methyl ester (1) exhibited neurite outgrowth-promoting activity at concentration of 0.01-1.0 microM, whereas dicarboxilic acids 4 and 5 were found to induce neuritogenesis dose dependently at the concentrations from 0.1 microM to 10 microM.  相似文献

Lichens are an important source of phenolic compounds and have been intensively investigated for their biological and pharmacological activities. Lecanoric acid (1), a lichen depside, was isolated from a Parmotrema tinctorum specimen and treated with alcohols to produce orsellinic acid (2) and orsellinates (3) to (9) (2,4-dihydroxy-6-n-methyl benzoates). Free radical scavenging activity of methyl (3), ethyl (4), n-propyl (5), n-butyl (6), iso-propyl (7), sec-butyl (8), tert-butyl (9) orsellinates was evaluated using 2,2'-diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl (DPPH) method. Results showed that chain elongation of methyl (3) to n-butyl (6) causes a rise in the antioxidant activity. However, iso-propyl (7) and tert-butyl (9) were more active than the correspondent linear compounds, although sec-butyl (8) was less active among the chain ramified compounds. All the orsellinates were less active than lecanoric acid (1) and orsellinic acid (2). Orcinol (10) and resorcinol (11) were also determined for comparison with activities of orsellinates. Lichen-derived monoaromatic compounds are bioactive compounds, associated with various pharmacological properties: antioxidant, antifungal, antiviral, cytotoxicity, and enzyme inhibition. However, little is known about data regarding alpha-glucosidase inhibition and antimicrobial activity. Very few compounds were reported to have these activities. In this paper, a series of monoaromatic compounds from a lichen source were isolated and structurally elucidated. They are 3,5-dihydroxybenzoic acid (1), 3,5-dihydroxybenzoate methyl (2), 3,5-dihydroxy-4-methylbenzoic acid (3), 3,5-dihydroxy-4-methoxylbenzoic acid (4), 3-hydroxyorcinol (5), atranol (6), and methyl hematommate (7). To obtain more derivatives, available compounds from the previous reports such as methyl β-orsellinate (8), methyl orsellinate (9), and D-montagnetol (10) were selected for bromination. Electrophilic bromination was applied to 8–10 using NaBr/H2O2 reagents to yield products methyl 5-bromo-β-orsellinate (8a), methyl 3,5-dibromo-orsellinate (9a), 3-bromo-D-montagnetol (10a), and 3,5-dibromo-D-montagnetol (10b). Compounds were evaluated for alpha-glucosidase inhibition and antimicrobial activity against antibiotic-resistant, pathogenic bacteria Enterococcus faecium, Staphylococcus aureus, and Acinetobacter baumannii. Compound 4 showed stronger alpha-glucosidase inhibition than others with an IC50 value of 24.0 µg/mL. Synthetic compound 9a exhibited remarkable activity against Staphylococcus aureus with a MIC value of 4 µg/mL. Molecular docking studies were performed to confirm the consistency between in vitro and in silico studies.  相似文献

Three new cyclolignan esters and seven known compounds including two cyclolignan isolariciresinol, lynoiresinol, and five aromatic compounds methyl ferulate, vanillin, 4-hydroxy-3,5-dimethoxybenaldehyde, 4-methoxygallic acid, gallic acid were isolated from n-butanol extract of Rhus semialata (Anacardiaceae). Terminalia catappa L. (tropical almond) is a nutritious fruit found mainly in the tropics. This study is aimed to establish the naturally biotransformed molecules and identify the probiotic agents facilitating the fermentation. The aqueous extracts from both the unfermented and fermented T. catappa nuts were subjected to gas chromatography/mass spectrometry (GC/MS) analysis. Syringol (6.03%), glutamine (1.71%), methyl laurate (1.79%), methyl palmitate (1.53%), palmitic acid (5.20%), palmitoleic acid (2.80%), and methyl oleate (2.97%) were detected in the unfermented nuts of the T. catappa. Additionally, two of these natural compounds (palmitic acid (4.19%) and palmitoleic acid (1.48%)) survived the fermentation process to emerge in the fermented seeds. The other natural compounds were biotransformed into 2,3-butanediol (1.81%), butyric acid (16.20%), propane-1,3-diol (19.66%), neoheptanol (2.89%), 2-piperidinone (6.63%), palmitoleic acid (1.18%), formamide, n-(p-hydroxyphenethyl)- (2.80%), and cis-vaccenic acid (1.69%) that newly emerged in the fermented seeds. The phytochemical compounds are likely carbon sources for the organisms facilitating the biotransformed molecules and product production. Four (4) potential probiotic bacteria strains, namely, Probt B1a, Probt B2a, Probt B4a, and Probt B4b, were isolated from the fermented nut. Enterococcus faecum, and Enterococcus faecalis were the organisms identified as driving the fermentation of the seeds. All strains were gram-positive, catalase-negative, and non-hemolytic, which suggests their harmless nature. N-(p-hydroxyphenethyl)-) was associated with fermentation for the first time, and neoheptanol was discovered as the main alcoholic molecule formed during the fermentation of the seeds. This fermentation is a handy tool for bio-transforming compounds in raw food sources into compounds with nutritious and therapeutic potentials.  相似文献

Two new iridoid glucosides of 10-O-caffeoyl scandoside methyl ester (3), and 6-methoxy scandoside methyl ester (4) besides the known compounds of scandoside methyl ester (1), methyl deacetyl asperulosidate (2), 10-O-caffeoyl daphylloside (5), phytol (6), and ursolic acid (7) were isolated from the leaves of Wendlandia formosana. Structure elucidation of the new iridoid glucosides was based on interpretation of high-resolution 1D and 2D NMR spectral data and chemical conversions. Three new pentacyclic triterpenes ursoxy acid ( 1 ), methyl ursoxylate ( 2 ), and ursangilic acid ( 3 ), along with three known compounds dotriacontanoic acid, oleanolic acid acetate, and tetracosanoic acid, were isolated from the aerial parts of Lantana camara Linn . Seed of Litchi chinensis Sonn. is a traditional Chinese medicine, having curative effects on gastric disease, diabetes,and relieving pain.[1] Two new compounds 4-O-p-coumaroylquinic acid butyl ester (1) and 3-O-p-coumaroylquinic acid butyl ester (2), along with five known compounds: 5-O-p-coumaroylquinic acid butyl ester (3),[2] 3-O-p-coumaroylquinic acid methyl ester (4),[3] n-butyl-1-β-D-fructopyranoside (5),[4] D-1-O-methylmyo-inositol (6)[5] and 1H-imidazole-2,3-dihydro-2-oxo-4-carboxylic acid methyl ester (7)[5] were isolated and purified from the ethanol extracts of the seed of L.chinensis Sonn. Their structures, shown in Figure 1, were elucidated by ESI-MS, 1H NMR and 13C NMR, including 2DNMR spectroscopy.  相似文献

Chromatographic fractionation of the acetone extract of the seeds of Calophyllum blancoi yielded six pyranochromanone derivatives; apetalic acid (1), isoapetalic acid (2), apetalic acid methyl ester (3), apetalic acid 5-O-acetate (4), isoapetalic methyl ester (5), and isoapetalic acid 5-O-acetate (6). In addition, one new dihydrocoumarin derivative, isorecedensolide (7), was also isolated together with recedensolide (8). The structures of the isolated compounds were established through analysis of NMR spectral data including 2D techniques as well as other physical and spectroscopic methods. Compounds 3, 4, 5, 7, and 8 showed mild activity against KB (human oral epidermoid carcinoma) and Hela (human cervical epitheloid carcinoma) tumor cell lines.  相似文献

Three new chromanone derivatives, calopolyanic acid ( 1 ), isocalopolyanic acid ( 2 ), and isorecedensic acid ( 3 ), were isolated from the pericarps of Calophyllum polyanthum Wall . ex Choisy , along with seven known compounds, apetalic acid, blancoic acid, chapelieric acid, methyl isoapetalate, isoapetalic acid, isocalolongic acid, and recedensic acid. The mass spectra of trimethylsilyl (TMS) ethers of 2-methoxyphenols show abundant [M–30]+˙ ions originating from consecutive loss of two methyl radicals. This is illustrated by comparison of the accurate mass-measured and linked-scan spectra of the TMS derivatives of 2-methoxyphenol (guaiacol), 4-hydroxy-3-methoxybenzaldehyde (vanillin) and 3-(4-hydroxy-3-methoxyphenyl)-2-propenoic acid methyl ester (ferulic acid methyl ester) with those of the TMS derivatives of phenol, 4-hydroxybenzaldehyde, 3-(4-hydroxyphenyl)-2-propenoic acid methyl ester (p-coumaric acid methyl ester), 3-methoxyphenol and 4-methoxyphenol. This distinctive ortho effect is valuable in the identification of isomeric phenolic compounds. In the spectra of the TMS derivatives of 2-ethoxyphenol and 2-propoxyphenol the sequential loss of two radicals is less pronounced, because elimination of the side-chain and a methyl group with rearrangement and hydrogen migration is competitive.  相似文献

Nine organosulfur compounds present in an aged garlic extract and two isoflavonoids and one triterpenoid present in a licorice root extract powder have been identified and quantified. Quantification involved solvent extraction and gas chromatographic – mass spectrometric analysis (garlic extract) or hydrolysis, solvent extraction, and liquid chromatographic analysis (licorice root extract powder). Although the garlic extract proved to be unstable and the concentration of the organosulfur compounds varied with time, one analysis of the extract gave the following results: methyl disulfide (0.607 μg/g), methyl trisulfide (0.181 μg/g), allyl sulfide (2.02 μg/g), allyl disulfide (0.784 μg/g), allyl trisulfide (0.795 μg/g), allyl methyl sulfide (1.64 μg/g), allyl methyl disulfide (0.411 μg/g), allyl methyl trisulfide (0.695 μg/g), and ethyl 2-propenesulfinate (11.4 μg/g). The analysis of the licorice root extract powder gave the following results: formononetin (1.92 mg/g), isoliquiritigenin (9.61 mg/g), and 18β-glycyrrhetinic acid (43.9 mg/g). Methods were successfully developed to quantify the same compounds in the serum of test animals which had consumed feed spiked with garlic extract or licorice root extract powder. Only the 18β-glycyrrhetinic acid could be detected in the sera of such animals, however. An effort was also made to determine serum levels of prostaglandin E2 to correlate its inhibition with levels of the dietary components, but the prostaglandin E2 levels were too low to measure.  相似文献

The preparation and radical-initiated polymerization of a carbazole-substituted N-acylated dehydroalanine, namely, 2-(9-carbazolyl)acetylaminopropenoic acid ( 7 ) and its methyl ester ( 6 ) is reported. The monomers 6 and 7 were prepared by dehydrochlorination of N-acylated β-chloroalanine derivatives. The monomer model compounds for the two polymers, namely, 2-(9-carbazolyl)acetylamino-2-methylpropanoic acid ( 11 ) and its methyl ester ( 10 ), were also prepared. The polymers and their monomer model compounds were characterized by elemental analysis, IR and 1H-NMR spectra. The polymers 12 and 13 of different molecular weights could be obtained by changing the monomer-to-initiator ratios used in polymerization experiments.  相似文献

Two methyl esters of fatty acids, namely octadecanoic acid methyl ester (methyl stearate) and hexadecanoic acid methyl ester (methyl palmitate), in addition to four cinnamyl alcohol derivatives, sinapyl alcohol, coniferyl alcohol, p-coumaryl alcohol and coniferyl alcohol 4-O-glucoside (coniferin), were isolated from callus cultures of Wedelia prostrata. The structure of coniferin was established by spectroscopic and chemical methods, while the other compounds were identified by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry and thin layer chromatography in comparison with standards.  相似文献
