The aggregation behavior of two homologs of bacteriochlorophyll c (BChl c) in various media was investigated for the effects of pH and salt, and the corresponding structures were analyzed by Fourier transform (FT)-IR spectroscopy. R-[P, E] BChl cF (31-R-form of BChl c with a propyl group at the C-8 position and an ethyl group at the C-12 position) and R-[E, E] BChl cF (31-R-form of BChl c with two ethyl groups at positions C-8 and C-12) were isolated from the green sulfur bacterium Chloro-bium limicola. Aggregates of each homolog showed a pH-dependent shift of the absorption maximum; at low pH, the peak moved to the red. This tendency was also revealed by circular dichroic spectra. A similar red shift of the peak was also induced by a high concentration of salt (NaCl) or buffer for both homologs. The FT-IR spectrum indicates that at low pH, both homologs formed a rather amorphous aggregate. On the other hand, a regular structure of R-[P, E] BChl cF was indicated in an acetone-water mixture. This structure was stabilized by a triangular interaction among three pigment molecules through the Mg-OH (3>) O = C (131) linkage. This structure was not found for R-[E, E] BChl cF. These results indicate that the replacement of the side chain at the C-8 position on the macrocycle induces a change in aggregation behavior. A possible heterogeneity of the in vivo rod structure of chlorosomes in green sulfur bacteria is discussed based on the above results.  相似文献

Reactions of lanthanoid trichlorides with sodium cyclopentylcyclopentadienyl in THFafford bis(cyclopentylcyclopentadienyl) lanthanoid chloride complexes (C_5H_9C_5H_4)_2LnCl(THF)_n (Ln=Nd, Sm, n=1; Ln= Er, Yb, n= 0). The compound [CP'_2SmCl(THF)]_2 (2) (Cp' =cyclopentylcy-clopentadienyl) crystallizes from mixed solvent of hexane and THF in monoclinic space group P_2_1/cwith a = 11.583 (3), b = 23.019(6), c = 8.227 (2), β= 90.26 (2)°, V= 2194 (1)~3, D_c= 1.59 g/cm~3.μ= 28.6 cm~(-1), F(000) = 1060, Z= 2 (dimers). The central metal atom Sm is coordinated to two Cp' rings, two bridging chlorineatoms and one THF forming a distorted trigonal bipyramid. The crystal of [Cp'_2ErCl]_2 (3) belongs tothe triclinic space group P with a = 11.264 (2), b= 13.296(5), c = 14.296(6), a = 96.99 (3), β=112.47(2), γ= 102.78(2)°, V= 1865(1)~3, D_c= 1.67 g /cm~3, μ= 48.0 cm~(-1), F(000) = 924, Z = 2 (dimers). The molecule is a dimer consisting of two Cp'_2 ErCl species bridged by two Cl atoms. Reaction of (TBBP)AlMe ? THF with [Cp*2Zr(Me)OH] gave [(TBBP)Al(THF)?O?Zr(Me)Cp*2] (TBBP=3,3’,5,5’‐tetra‐tBu‐2,2'‐biphenolato). Reaction of [DIPPnacnacAl(Me)?O?Zr(Me)Cp2] with [PhMe2NH]+[B(C6F5)4]? gave a cationic Al/Zr complex that could be structurally characterized as its THF adduct [(DIPPnacnac)Al(Me)?O?Zr(THF)Cp2]+[B(C6F5)4]? (DIPPnacnac=HC[(Me)C=N(2,6‐iPr2?C6H3)]2). The first complex polymerizes ethene in the presence of an alkylaluminum scavenger but in the absence of methylalumoxane (MAO). The adduct cation is inactive under these conditions. Theoretical calculations show very high energy barriers (ΔG=40–47 kcal mol?1) for ethene insertion with a bridged AlOZr catalyst. This is due to an unfavorable six‐membered‐ring transition state, in which the methyl group bridges the metal and ethene with an obtuse metal‐Me‐C angle that prevents synchronized bond‐breaking and making. A more‐likely pathway is dissociation of the Al‐O‐Zr complex into an aluminate and the active polymerization catalyst [Cp*2ZrMe]+.  相似文献

Reaction of ethyl anthranilate, sodium nitrite, and 2-aminobenzothiazole produces a new triazenide compound, 1-[(2-carboxyethyl)benzene]-3-[benzothiazole]triazene (HL), which has been characterized by X-ray crystallography and NMR spectrum. In the presence of Et3N, reaction of HL and CuCl2?·?2H2O or CoCl2?·?6H2O in THF/methanol affords a tetranuclear copper(II) complex [Cu4L4(µ-OMe)4]?·?4THF (1) and a cobalt(III) complex [CoL′3] (2) (L′ is 1-[benzothiazole] triazene ion), accompanied by C–N bond cleavage of HL. They are characterized by X-ray crystallography and magnetic susceptibility measurement. Magnetic studies indicate significant antiferromagnetic coupling between the copper(II) centers for 1. The value obtained for the coupling constant J is ?585?cm?1.  相似文献

Synthesis and Characterization of Aquapentachloroplatinates(IV) – Structure of [K(18-crown-6)][PtCl5(H2O)] The crown ether complex of the aquapentachloroplatinic acid of the composition [H13O6][PtCl5(H4O2)] · 2(18-cr-6) ( 2 ) reacts with K2CO3 and [NnBu4]OH in aqueous solution to give [K(18-cr-6)][PtCl5(H2O)] ( 5 a ) and [NnBu4][PtCl5(H2O)] · 1/2 (18-cr-6) · H2O ( 5 b ), respectively. Both compounds were characterized by microanalysis, vibrational (IR, Raman) and NMR (1H, 13C, 195Pt) spectroscopy. There are tight K …? Cl contacts (d(K? Cl1)) = 3,0881(9) Å and OW? H? Ocr hydrogen bridges (d(O1 …? O2) = 2,806(3) Å) between these units. The coordination polyhedron [PtCl5O] has approximately C4v symmetry.  相似文献

Abstract

The first structural data on a pentamethylcyclopentadienyl complex ofthulium, [(C5Me5)2Tm(μ3-C1)2K(THF)]n,1, are reported. TmCl3 reacts with 2 equivalents ofKC5Me5 in THF to form 1 in <80% yield. 1 crystallizes from THF/hexanes in thespace group Cc with a = 11.1491(13) Å, b= 28.107(2) Å, c = 8.5921(8) Å, β= 102.485(8)°, V = 2628.8(4) Å3, and Dcalcd = 1.570 Mg/m3 for Z= 4. Least-squares refinement of the model based on 3114reflections (F2 > 3.0 [sgrave] (F2))converged to a final RF = 1.9%. Thepolymeric structure of 1 is generated by triply bridgingchlorides, each of which is connected to one(C5Me5)2Tm bentmetallocene unit and two K(THF) moieties in a T-shaped geometryaround the chloride.  相似文献

The crystal structures of three quinuclidine‐based compounds, namely (1‐azabicyclo[2.2.2]octan‐3‐ylidene)hydrazine monohydrate, C7H13N3·H2O ( 1 ), 1,2‐bis(1‐azabicyclo[2.2.2]octan‐3‐ylidene)hydrazine, C14H22N4 ( 2 ), and 1,2‐bis(1‐azoniabicyclo[2.2.2]octan‐3‐ylidene)hydrazine dichloride, C14H24N42+·2Cl? ( 3 ), are reported. In the crystal structure of 1 , the quinuclidine‐substituted hydrazine and water molecules are linked through N—H…O and O—H…N hydrogen bonds, forming a two‐dimensional array. The compound crystallizes in the centrosymmetric space group P21/c. Compound 2 was refined in the space group Pccn and exhibits no hydrogen bonding. However, its hydrochloride form 3 crystallizes in the noncentrosymmetric space group Pc. It shows a three‐dimensional network structure via intermolecular hydrogen bonding (N—H…C and N/C—H…Cl). Compound 3 , with its acentric structure, shows strong second harmonic activity.  相似文献

X‐ray crystal structure analysis of the lithiated allylic α‐sulfonyl carbanions [CH2?CHC(Me)SO2Ph]Li ? diglyme, [cC6H8SO2tBu]Li ? PMDETA and [cC7H10SO2tBu]Li ? PMDETA showed dimeric and monomeric CIPs, having nearly planar anionic C atoms, only O?Li bonds, almost planar allylic units with strong C?C bond length alternation and the s‐trans conformation around C1?C2. They adopt a C1?S conformation, which is similar to the one generally found for alkyl and aryl substituted α‐sulfonyl carbanions. Cryoscopy of [EtCH?CHC(Et)SO2tBu]Li in THF at 164 K revealed an equilibrium between monomers and dimers in a ratio of 83:17, which is similar to the one found by low temperature NMR spectroscopy. According to NMR spectroscopy the lone‐pair orbital at C1 strongly interacts with the C?C double bond. Low temperature 6Li,1H NOE experiments of [EtCH?CHC(Et)SO2tBu]Li in THF point to an equilibrium between monomeric CIPs having only O?Li bonds and CIPs having both O?Li and C1?Li bonds. Ab initio calculation of [MeCH?CHC(Me)SO2Me]Li ? (Me2O)2 gave three isomeric CIPs having the s‐trans conformation and three isomeric CIPs having the s‐cis conformation around the C1?C2 bond. All s‐trans isomers are more stable than the s‐cis isomers. At all levels of theory the s‐trans isomer having O?Li and C1?Li bonds is the most stable one followed by the isomer which has two O?Li bonds. The allylic unit of the C,O,Li isomer shows strong bond length alternation and the C1 atom is in contrast to the O,Li isomer significantly pyramidalized. According to NBO analysis of the s‐trans and s‐cis isomers, the interaction of the lone pair at C1 with the π* orbital of the CC double bond is energetically much more favorable than that with the “empty” orbitals at the Li atom. The C1?S and C1?C2 conformations are determined by the stereoelectronic effects nC–σSR* interaction and allylic conjugation. 1H DNMR spectroscopy of racemic [EtCH?CHC(Et)SO2tBu]Li, [iPrCH?CHC(iPr)SO2tBu]Li and [EtCH?C(Me)C(Et)SO2tBu]Li in [D8]THF gave estimated barriers of enantiomerization of ΔG=13.2 kcal mol?1 (270 K), 14.2 kcal mol?1 (291 K) and 14.2 kcal mol?1 (295 K), respectively. Deprotonation of sulfone (R)‐EtCH?CHCH(Et)SO2tBu (94 % ee) with nBuLi in THF at ?105 °C occurred with a calculated enantioselectivity of 93 % ee and gave carbanion (M)‐[EtCH?CHC(Et)SO2tBu]Li, the deuteration and alkylation of which with CF3CO2D and MeOCH2I, respectively, proceeded with high enantioselectivities. Time‐dependent deuteration of the enantioenriched carbanion (M)‐[EtCH?CHC(Et)SO2tBu]Li in THF gave a racemization barrier of ΔG=12.5 kcal mol?1 (168 K), which translates to a calculated half‐time of racemization of t1/2=12 min at ?105 °C.  相似文献

We describe herein an original approach for the efficient immortal ring‐opening polymerization (iROP) of trimethylene carbonate (TMC) under mild conditions using dual‐catalyst systems combining a discrete cationic metal complex with a tertiary amine. A series of new zinc and magnesium cationic complexes of the type [{NNO}M]+[anion]? ({NNO}?=2,4‐di‐tert‐butyl‐6‐{[(2′‐dimethylaminoethyl)methylamino]methyl}phenolate; M=Zn, [anion]?=[B(C6F5)4]? ( 2 ), [H2N‐ {B(C6F5)3}2]? ( 3 ), and [EtB(C6F5)3]? ( 4 ); M=Mg, [anion]?=[H2N{B(C6F5)3}2]? ( 7 )) have been prepared from the corresponding neutral compounds [{NNO}ZnEt] ( 1 ) and [{NNO}‐ Mg(nBu)] ( 6 ). Compounds 2 – 4 and 7 exist as free ion pairs, as revealed by 1H, 13C, 19F, and 11B NMR spectroscopy in THF solution, and an X‐ray crystallographic analysis of the bis(THF) adduct of compound 7 , 7? (THF)2. The neutral complexes 1 and 6 , in combination with one equivalent or an excess of benzyl alcohol (BnOH), initiate the rapid iROP of TMC, in bulk or in toluene solution, at 45–60 °C (turnover frequency, TOF, up to 25–30 000 mol(TMC)?mol(Zn)?h?1 for 1 and 220–240 000 mol(TMC)?mol(Mg)?h?1 for 6 ), to afford H‐PTMC‐OBn with controlled macromolecular features. ROP reactions mediated by the cationic systems 2 /BnOH and 7 /BnOH proceeded much more slowly (TOF up to 500 and 3 000 mol(TMC)?mol(Zn or Mg)?h?1 at 110 °C) than those based on the parent neutral compounds 1 /BnOH and 6 /BnOH, respectively. Use of original dual organic/organometallic catalyst systems, obtained by adding 0.2–5 equiv of a tertiary amine such as NEt3 to zinc cationic complexes [{NNO}Zn]+[anion]? ( 2 – 4 ), promoted high activities (TOF up to 18 300 mol(TMC)?mol(Zn)?h?1 at 45 °C) giving H‐PTMC‐OBn with good control over the Mn and Mw/Mn values. Variation of the nature of the anion in 2 – 4 did not significantly affect the performance of these catalyst systems. On the other hand, the dual magnesium‐based catalyst system 7 /NEt3 proved to be poorly effective.  相似文献

One polar noncentrosymmetric complex, [Zn(phen)(H2O)2L]L (HL = m-nitro-benzoic acid, phen = 1,10-phenanthroline) has been prepared and characterized. The title complex is crystallized in a noncentrosymmetric space group P21. The compound is a typical ferroelectric and its electric hysteresis loop shows a remnant polarization (P r) of ca. 0.04?μC?cm?2 and coercive field (E c) of 1.26?V/cm. It may be a potential ferroelectric with a relatively large spontaneous polarization (P s) of 0.11?μC?cm?2. Moreover, permittivity property measurements reveal a dielectric constant (? r) of 5.63 and dielectric loss (tan δ) of 2.5%.  相似文献

Reduction of the {Co(NO)}8 cobalt–nitrosyl N‐confused porphyrin (NCP) [Co(CTPPMe)(NO)] ( 1 ) produced electron‐rich {Co(NO)}9 [Co(CTPPMe)(NO)][Co(Cp*)2] ( 2 ), which was necessary for NO‐to‐N2O conversion. Complex 2 was NO‐reduction‐silent in neat THF, but was partially activated to a hydrogen‐bonded species 2 ??? MeOH in THF/MeOH (1:1, v/v). This species coupling with 2 transformed NO into N2O, which was fragmented from an [N2O2]‐bridging intermediate. An intense IR peak at 1622 cm?1 was ascribed to ν(NO) in an [N2O2]‐containing intermediate. Time–course ESI(?) mass spectra supported the presence of the dimeric [Co(NCP)]2(N2O2) intermediate. Five complete NO‐to‐N2O conversion cycles were possible without significant decay in the amount of N2O produced.  相似文献

Monomeric and Dimeric Chromium(III) Phthalocyanines: Synthesis and Properties of Hydroxopyridinophthalocyaninatochromium(III) and μ-Oxodi(pyridinophthalocyaninatochromium(III)) Heating of ?[Cr(OH)Pc2?]”? in pyridine (Py) gives the paramagnetic (T = 273 K) complexes [Cr(OH)(Py)Pc2?] (μCr = 3.84 μB) and [(Cr(Py)Pc2?)2O] (μCr = 1.24 μB) by consecutive substitution and condensation reactions. The UV-VIS spectra are characterized by the typical B, Q, and N regions of the Pc2? ligand being shifted hypsochromically for the dimer with respect to the monomer due to excitonic coupling (1.5 kK). Regions of weak absorbance between 8 and 13 resp. 19 kK are assigned to trip-quartet transitions for both complexes. A weak band at 870 cm?1 in the FIR/MIR spectra is assigned to vas(Cr? O? Cr). In the resonance Raman(RR) spectra v(Cr? O) at 514 cm?1 resp. vs(Cr? O? Cr) at 426 cm?1 is selectively enhanced. Further strong RR-lines of the μ-Oxo dimer at 110 and 631 cm?1 are assigned to a (Py? Cr? O)- resp. internal pyridine deformation of a1g symmetry. An assignment as 2vas(Cr? O? Cr) is proposed for the remarkable RR line at 1740 cm?1.  相似文献

Membrane fragments of Heliobacillus (Hc.) mobilis were characterized using resonance Raman (RR) spectroscopy in order to determine the configuration of the neurosporene carotenoid, the pigment-protein interactions of the bacteriochlorophyll (BChl) g molecules, and the Chl a-like chlorin pigments present in the antenna-reaction center complex constituting the photosynthetic apparatus. Using 363.8 nm excitation, the Raman contributions of the BChl g molecules were selectively resonantly enhanced over those of the carotenoid and the Chl a-like chlorin pigments. The RR spectrum of BChl g in these membranes excited at 363.8 nm exhibits bands at 1614 and 1688 cm?1, which correspond to a CaCm methine bridge stretching mode and a keto carbonyl group stretching mode, respectively. Both of these bands are 16 cm?1 wide (full width at half maximum, FWHM), indicating that a sole population of BChl g molecules is being enhanced at this excitation wavelength. The observed frequency of the CaCm stretching mode (1614 cm?1) indicates that the bulk of BChl g molecules is pentacoordinated with only one axial ligand to the central Mg atom while that of the keto carbonyl stretching mode (1668 cm?1) indicates that these groups are engaged in a hydrogen bond. This homogeneous population of BChl g molecules bound to the heliobacterial core polypeptides is in contrast to the heterogeneous population of Chl a molecules bound to the core polypeptides of the reaction center of photosystem I of Synechocystis 6803 as observed by the inhomogeneously broadened C9 keto carbonyl band in its RR spectrum. The RR spectrum of the Chl a-like chlorin pigments in Hc. mobilis excited at 441.6 nm exhibits a broad keto carbonyl band (43 cm?1 FWHM) with components at 1665, 1683 and 1695 cm?1, indicating several populations of these pigments differing in their protein interactions at the level of the keto carbonyl group. Fourier transform (FT) pre-RR spectroscopic measurements of intact whole cells and membrane fragments at room temperature using 1064 nm excitation indicate that high quality vibrational spectra of the BChl g molecules can be obtained with no photodegradation. Low-temperature FT Raman spectra excited at 1064 nm reveals an inhomogeneously broadened 1665 cm?1 band corresponding to the C9 keto carbonyl stretching mode. Spectral deconvolution and second derivative analysis of this band reveal that it is comprised of components at 1665, 1682 and 1695 cm?1, the latter two most likely arising from BChl g photoconversion products. Excitation using 885 nm to enhance the preresonance effect of the BChl g molecules yields an FT Raman spectrum where the keto carbonyl band at 1665 cm?1 is narrow, as is the case in the Soret RR spectra, reflecting a sole population of BChl g molecules, which are engaged in an H bond. The RR spectrum of the neurosporene molecule in Hc. mobilis membranes excited at 496.5 nm is compared to that of 1,2-dihydroneurosporene bound in a cis configuration in reaction centers of Rhodopseudomona viridis and to that of the same carotenoid in its all-trans configuration extracted from these reaction centers in the presence of light. The similarity of this latter RR spectrum with that of neurosporene in the Hc. mobilis membranes indicates that it is bound in an all-trans configuration.  相似文献

By combining results from a variety of mass spectrometric techniques (metastatle ion, collisional activation, collision-induced dissociative ionization, neutralization–reionization spectrometry and appearance energy measurements) and the classical method of isotopic labelling, a unified mechanism is proposed for the complex unimolecular chemistry of ionized 1,2-propanediol. The key intermediates involved are the stable hydrogen-bridged radical cations [CH2?C(H)? H…?O…?O(H)CH3]+˙, which were generated independently from [4-methoxy, 1-butanol]+˙ (loss of C2H4) and [1-methoxyglycerol]+˙ (loss of CH2O), [CH3? C?O…?H…?O(H)CH3]+˙ and the related ion-dipole complex [CH2?C(OH)CH3/H2O]+˙. The latter species serves as the precursor for the loss of CH3˙ and in this reaction the same non-ergodic behaviour is observed as in the loss of CH3˙ from the ionized enol of acetone.  相似文献
