Several compounds of the (Na1−xLix)CdIn2(PO4)3 solid solution were synthesized by a solid-state reaction in air, and pure alluaudite-like compounds were obtained for x=0.00, 0.25, and 0.50. X-ray Rietveld refinements indicate the occurrence of Cd2+ in the M(1) site, and of In3+ in the M(2) site of the alluaudite structure. This non-disordered cationic distribution is confirmed by the sharpness of the infrared absorption bands. The distribution of Na+ and Li+ on the A(1) and A(2)′ crystallographic sites cannot be accurately assessed by the Rietvled method, probably because the electronic densities involved in the Na+→Li+ substitution are very small. A comparison with the synthetic alluaudite-like compounds, (Na1−xLix)MnFe2(PO4)3, indicates the influence of the cations occupying the M(1) and M(2) sites on the coordination polyhedra morphologies of the A(1) and A(2)′ crystallographic sites.  相似文献

Oxides in the system PrCo1−xMgxO3 (x=0.0, 0.05, 0.10, 0.15, 0.20, 0.25) were synthesized by citrate technique and characterized by powder X-ray diffraction and scanning electron microscope. All compounds have a cubic perovskite structure (space group ). The maximum ratio of doped Mg in the system PrCo1−xMgxO3 is x=0.2. Further doping leads to the segregation of Pr6O11 in PrCo1−xMgxO3. The substitution of Mg for Co improves the performance of PrCoO3 as compared to the electrical conductivity measured by a four-probe electrical conductivity analyzer in the temperature range from 298 to 1073 K. The substitution of Mg for Co on the B site may be compensated by the formations of Co4+ and oxygen vacancies. The electrical conductivity of PrCo1−xMgxO3 oxides increases with increasing x in the range of 0.0-0.2. The increase in conductivity becomes considerable at the temperatures ?673 K especially for x?0.1; it reaches a maximum at x=0.2 and 1073 K. From x>0.2 the conductivity of PrCo1−xMgxO3 starts getting lower. This is probably a result of the segregation of Pr6O11 in PrCo1−xMgxO3 , which blocks oxygen transport, and association of oxygen vacancies. A change in activation energy for all PrCo1−xMgxO3 compounds (x=0-0.25) was observed, with a higher activation energy above 573 K and a lower activation energy below 573 K. The reasons for such a change are probably due to the change of dominant charge carriers from Co4+ to Vö in PrCo1−xMgxO3 oxides and a phase transition mainly starting at 573 K.  相似文献

6Li and 7Li MAS NMR spectra including 1D-EXSY (exchange spectroscopy) and inversion recovery experiments of fast ionic conducting Li2MgCl4, Li2-xCuxMgCl4, Li2-xNaxMgCl4, and Li2ZnCl4 have been recorded and discussed with respect to the dynamics and local structure of the lithium ions. The chemical shifts, intensities, and half-widths of the Li MAS NMR signals of the inverse spinel-type solid solutions Li2-xMIxMgCl4 (MI=Cu, Na) with the copper ions solely at tetrahedral sites and sodium ions at octahedral sites and the normal spinel-type zinc compound, respectively, confirm the assignment of the low-field signal to Litet of inverse spinel-type Li2MgCl4 and the high-field signal to Lioct as proposed by Nagel et al. (2000). In contrast to spinel-type Li2-2xMg1+xCl4 solid solutions with clustering of the vacancies and Mg2+ ions, the Cu+ and Na+ ions are randomly distributed on the tetrahedral and octahedral sites, respectively. The activation energies due to the various dynamic processes of the lithium ions in inverse spinel-type chlorides obtained by the NMR experiments are Ea=6.6-6.9 and ΔG*>79 KJ mol−1 (in addition to 23, 29, and 75 kJmol-1 obtained by other techniques), respectively. The largest activation energy of >79 KJ mol−1 corresponds to hopping exchange processes of Li ions between the tetrahedral 8a sites and the octahedral 16d sites. The smallest value of 6.6-6.9 KJ mol−1, which was derived from the temperature dependence of both the spin-lattice relaxation times T1 and the correlation times τC of Litet, reveals a dynamic process for the Litet ions inside the tetrahedral voids of the structure, probably between fourfold 32e split sites around the tetrahedral 8a site.  相似文献

Eu3+ luminescence is studied in apatite-related phosphate BiCa4(PO4)3O. Compositions of the formula Bi1−xEuxCa4(PO4)3O [x=0.05, 0.1, 0.3, 0.5, 0.8 and 1.0] are synthesized and they are isostructural with parent BiCa4(PO4)3O. Room temperature photoluminescence shows the various transitions 5D07FJ(=0,1,2) of Eu3+. The emission results of compositions with different Eu3+ content show the difference in site occupancy of Eu3+ in Bi1−xEuxCa4(PO4)3O. The intense 5D0-7F0 line at 574 nm for higher Eu3+ content is attributed to the presence of strongly covalent Eu-O bond that is possible by substituting Bi3+ in the Ca(2) site. This shows the preferential occupancy of Bi3+ in Ca(2) site and this has been attributed to the 6s2 lone pair electrons of Bi3+. This is further confirmed by comparing the emission results with La0.95Eu0.05Ca4(PO4)3O.  相似文献

Series of compositions Bi2(M′xM1−x)4O9 with x=0.0, 0.1,…, 1.0 and M′/M=Ga/Al, Fe/Al and Fe/Ga were synthesized by dissolving appropriate amounts of corresponding metal nitrate hydrates in glycerine, followed by gelation, calcination and final heating at 800 °C for 24 h. The new compositions with M′/M=Ga/Al form solid-solution series, which are isotypes to the two other series M′/M=Fe/Al and Fe/Ga. The XRD data analysis yielded in all cases a linear dependence of the lattice parameters related on x. Rietveld structure refinements of the XRD patterns of the new compounds, Bi2(GaxAl1−x)4O9 reveal a preferential occupation of Ga in tetrahedral site (4 h). The IR absorption spectra measured between 50 and 4000 cm−1 of all systems show systematic shifts in peak positions related to the degree of substitution. Samples treated in 18O2 atmosphere (16 h at 800 °C, 200 mbar, 95% 18O2) for 18O/16O isotope exchange experiments show a well-separated IR absorption peak related to the M-18Oc-M vibration, where Oc denotes the common oxygen of two tetrahedral type MO4 units. The intensity ratio of M-18Oc/M-16Oc IR absorption peaks and the average crystal sizes were used to estimate the tracer diffusion coefficients of polycrystalline Bi2Al4O9 (D=2×10−22 m2s−1), Bi2Fe4O9 (D=5×10−21 m2s−1), Bi2(Ga/Al)4O9 (D=2×10−21 m2s−1) and Bi2Ga4O9 (D=2×10−20 m2s−1).  相似文献

The compounds M[PO2(OH)2]2·2H2O (M=Mg, Mn, Fe, Co, Ni, Zn, Cd) were prepared from super-saturated aqueous solutions at room temperature. Single-crystal X-ray structure investigations of members with M=Ni, Zn, Cd were performed at 295 and 120 K. The space-group symmetry is P21/n, Z=2. The unit-cell parameters are at 295/120 K for M=Ni: a=7.240(2)/7.202(2), b=9.794(2)/9.799(2), c=5.313(1)/5.285(1) Å, β=94.81(1)/94.38(1)°, V=375.4/371.9 Å3; M=Zn: a=7.263(2)/7.221(2), b=9.893(2)/9.899(3), c=5.328(1)/5.296(2) Å, β=94.79(1)/94.31(2)°, V=381.5/377.5 Å3; M=Cd: a=7.356(2)/7.319(2), b=10.416(2)/10.423(3), c=5.407(1)/5.371(2) Å, β=93.85(1)/93.30(2)°, V=413.4/409.1 Å3. Layers of corner-shared MO6 octahedra and phosphate tetrahedra are linked by three of the four crystallographically different hydrogen bonds. The fourth hydrogen bond (located within the layer) is worth mentioning because of the short Oh?O bond distance of 2.57-2.61 Å at room temperature (2.56-2.57 Å at 120 K); only for M=Mg it is increased to 2.65 Å. Any marked temperature-dependent variation of the unit-cell dimension is observed only vertical to the layers. The analysis of the infrared (IR) spectroscopy data evidences that the internal PO4 vibrations are insensitive to the size and the electronic configuration of the M2+ ions. The slight strengthening of the intra-molecular P-O bonds in the Mg salt is caused by the more ionic character of the Mg-O bonds. All IR spectra exhibit the characteristic “ABC trio” for acidic salts: 2900-3180 cm−1 (A band), 2000-2450 cm−1 (B band) and 1550-1750 cm−1 (C band). Both the frequency and the intensity of the A band provide an evidence that the PO2(OH)2 groups in M[PO2(OH)2]2·2H2O compounds form weaker hydrogen bonds as compared with other acidic salts with comparable O?O bond distances of about 2.60 Å. The observed shift of the O-H stretching vibrations of the water molecule in the order M=Mg>Mn≈Fe≈Co>Ni>Zn≈Cd has been discussed with respect to the influence of both the character and the strength of M↔H2O interactions.  相似文献

The oxygen vacancies distribution in the rigid lattice and the thermally activated motion of oxygen atoms are studied in La1−xSrxGa1−xMgxO3−x (x=0.00; 0.05; 0.10; 0.15 and 0.20) compounds. For that 71Ga, 25Mg and 17O NMR was performed from 100 K up to 670 K, and ion conductivity measurements were carried out up to 1273 K. The comparison of the electric field gradients at the Ga- and Mg-sites evidences that oxygen vacancies appear exclusively near gallium cations as a species trapped below room temperature in local clusters, GaO5/2-□-GaO5/2. These clusters decay at higher temperature into mobile constituents of the structural octahedra Ga(O5/61/6)6/2. At the same time, the nearest octahedral oxygen environment of magnesium cations persists at different doping levels. The case of two adjacent vacant anion sites is found highly unlikely within the studied doping range. The thermally activated oxygen motion starts to develop above room temperature as is observed from both the motional narrowing of 17O NMR spectra and the 17O nuclear spin-lattice relaxation rate. The obtained results show that two types of motion exist, a slow motion and a fast one. The former is a long-range diffusion whereas the latter is a local back and forth oxygen jumps between two adjacent anion sites. These sites are strongly differentiated by the probability of the vacancy formation, like the vacant apical site and the occupied equatorial site in the orthorhombic compositions x <0.15.  相似文献

A new complete solid solution of NASICON-type compounds between LiZr2(PO4)3 and La1/3Zr2(PO4)3 was evidenced with the general formula Li1−xLax/3Zr2(PO4)3 (0?x?1). These phases were synthesized by a complex polymerizable method and structurally characterized from Rietveld treatment of their X-ray and neutron powder diffraction data. This solid solution results from the substitution mechanism Li+→1/3La3++2/3□ leading to an increase of the vacancies number correlated to an increase of the La content. According to this substitution mechanism, the general formula can then be written Li1−xLax/32x/3Zr2(PO4)3 (0?x?1) in order to underline the correlation between the La content and the vacancies rate. For all the compounds, the structure is clearly related to that of the NASICON family with three crystallographic domains evidenced. For 0?x?0.5, all the members adopt at high temperature the typical NASICON-type structure (s.g. Rc), while at lower temperature, their structure distorts to a triclinic form (s.g. C 1¯), as observed for LiZr2(PO4)3 prepared above 1100 °C. Moreover, in this domain, the reversible transition is clearly soft and the transition temperature strongly depends of the x value. For 0.6?x?0.9, the compounds crystallize in a rhombohedral cell (s.g. R3¯), while for x=1, the phase La1/3Zr2(PO4)3 is obtained (s.g. P3¯, Z=6, a=8.7378(2) Å, c=23.2156(7) Å).This paper is devoted to the structure analysis of the series Li1−xLax/3Zr2(PO4)3 (0?x?1), from X-ray and neutron powder thermo diffraction and transmission electron microscopy (TEM) studies.  相似文献

The total conductivity and Seebeck coefficient of a series of Ni-containing phases, including La2Ni1−xMxO4+δ (M=Co, Cu; x=0.1-0.2) with K2NiF4-type structure and perovskite-like La0.90Sr0.10Ga0.65Mg0.15Ni0.20O3−δ and La0.50Pr0.50Ga0.65Mg0.15Ni0.20O3−δ, were studied in the oxygen partial pressure range from 10−18 Pa to 50 kPa at 973-1223 K. Within the phase stability domain, the conductivity of layered nickelates is predominantly p-type electronic and occurs via small-polaron mechanism, indicated by temperature-activated hole mobility and p(O2) dependencies of electrical properties. In oxidizing conditions similar behavior is characteristic of Ni-containing perovskites, which exhibit, however, significant ionic contribution to the transport processes. The role of ionic conduction increases with decreasing p(O2) and becomes dominant in reducing atmospheres. All nickelate-based phases decompose at oxygen pressures considerably lower with respect to Ni/NiO boundary. The partial substitution of nickel in La2Ni(M)O4+δ has minor effect on the stability limits, which are similar to that of La0.90Sr0.10Ga0.65Mg0.15Ni0.20O3−δ. On the contrary, praseodymium doping enhances the stability of La0.50Pr0.50Ga0.65Mg0.15Ni0.20O3−δ down to p(O2) values as low as 10−17-10−10 Pa at 1023-1223 K.  相似文献

A detailed X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy study has been performed for the CuRh1−xMgxO2 (x=0, 0.04 and 0.10) series for a better understanding of the role of the Mg2+ substitution on the electrical properties and the value of the Seebeck coefficient. This study is based on an analysis of different compounds such as Rh2O3, Sr2RhO4 and CuCrO2 in order to characterize different oxidation states (Rh3+ and Rh4+ in octahedral oxygen environment and Cu+ in a dumbbell O-Cu-O coordination). The Cu2p signal of copper in the non-doped compounds CuCrO2 and CuRhO2 reveals different electronic structures. An evolution of the Cu2p core signal with the increase of Mg2+ content in the CuRh1−xMgxO2 is highlighted by XPS. The differences observed, especially for the Cu2p core peaks are discussed for the non-doped compounds CuCrO2 and CuRhO2 as for the CuRh1−xMgxO2 series upon Mg2+ substitution.  相似文献

Two new isostructural rare earth phosphates Na7Mg13Ln(PO4)12 (Ln=La, Eu) have been synthesized and investigated by X-ray diffraction and optical measurements. They crystallize in the orthorhombic system with the Cmc21 space group (Z=4). The crystal structure exhibits a new type of framework built up from LnO8 (Ln=La, Eu), MO6 (M=0.5Mg+0.5Na) and MgOx (x=5, 6) polyhedra and PO4 tetrahedra linked by common corner, edge or face. It can be described in terms of [Mg4MP4O22] layers stacked along the a direction. These layers are interconnected by [Mg4LnP4O36] undulating chains spreading along the b direction. This framework delimits 6 distinct cavities occupied by Na+ cations. The results of the optical study of Na7Mg13La1−xEux(PO4)12 (x=0, 0.02, 0.1, 1) reveal the presence of two different Eu3+ ion environments whereas the X-ray study predicts the existence of only one Eu site. This difference can be explained by the possible presence of the europium element in the sodium sites with small occupancies which cannot be detected by the X-ray structural determination.  相似文献

A new vanado-molybdate LiMg3VMo2O12 has been synthesized, the crystal structure determined an ionic conductivity measured. The solid solution Li2−zMg2+zVzMo3−zO12 was investigated and the structures of the z=0.5 and 1.0 compositions were refined by Rietveld analysis of powder X-ray (XRD) and powder neutron diffraction (ND) data. The structures were refined in the orthorhombic space group Pnma with a∼5.10, b∼10.4 and c∼17.6 Å, and are isostructural with the previously reported double molybdates Li2M2(MoO4)3 (M=M2+, z=0). The structures comprise of two unique (Li/Mg)O6 octahedra, (Li/Mg)O6 trigonal prisms and two unique (Mo/V)O4 tetrahedra. A well-defined 1:3 ratio of Li+:Mg2+ is observed in octahedral chains for LiMg3VMo2O12. Li+ preferentially occupies trigonal prisms and Mg2+ favours octahedral sheets. Excess V5+ adjacent to the octahedral sheets may indicate short-range order. Ionic conductivity measured by impedance spectroscopy (IS) and differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) measurements show the presence of a phase transition, at 500-600 °C, depending on x. A decrease in activation energy for Li+ ion conductivity occurs at the phase transition and the high temperature structure is a good Li+ ion conductor, with σ=1×10−3-4×10−2 S cm−1 and Ea=0.6 to 0.8 eV.  相似文献

The cation ordering in the fluorite-like transparent conductors In4+xSn3−2xSbxO12 and In6TeO12, was investigated by Time of Flight Neutron Powder Diffraction and X-ray Powder Diffraction (tellurate). The structural results including atomic positions, cation distributions, metal-oxygen distances and metal-oxygen-metal angles point to a progressive cation ordering on both sites of the Tb7O12-type structure with a strong preference of the smaller 4d10 cations (Sn4+, Sb5+, Te6+) for the octahedral sites. The corresponding increase of the overall structure-bonding anisotropy is analyzed in terms of the crystal chemical properties of the OM4 tetrahedral network of the antistructure. The relationships between the M7O12 and the M2O3 bixbyite-type structures are explored. Within the whole series of compositions In4+xM3−xO12 (M=Sn, Sb, Te) there exists an increase of the symmetry gap between the more symmetrical bixbyite structure and the M7O12 type. This is tentatively correlated with the progressive weakening of thermal stability of these compositions from Sn to Te via Sb.  相似文献

Structural and photoluminescence properties of undoped and Ce3+-doped novel silicon-oxynitride phosphors of Ba4−zMzSi8O20−3xN2x (M=Mg, Sr, Ca) are reported. Single-phase solid solutions of Ba4−zMzSi8O20−3xN2x oxynitride were synthesized by partial substitutions of 3O2−→2N3− and Ba→M (M=Mg, Ca, Sr) in orthorhombic Ba2Si4O10. The influences of the type of alkaline earth ions of M, the Ce3+ concentration on the photoluminescence properties and thermal quenching behaviors of Ba3MSi8O20−3xN2x (M=Mg, Ca, Sr, x=0.5) were investigated. Under excitation at about 330 nm, Ba3MSi8O20−3xN2x:Ce3+ (x=0.5) exhibits efficient blue emission centered at 400-450 nm in the range of 350-650 nm owing to the 5d→4f transition of Ce3+. The emission band of Ce3+ shifts to long wavelength by increasing the ionic size of M due to the modification of the crystal field, as well as the Ce3+ concentrations due to the Stokes shift and energy transfer or reabsorption of Ce3+ ions. Among the silicon-oxynitride phosphors of Ba3MSi8O18.5N:Ce3+, M=Sr0.6Ca0.4 possesses the best thermal stability probably related to its high onset of the absorption edge of Ce3+.  相似文献

Based on powder X-ray diffraction and 31P Magic Angle Spinning Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (MAS NMR) investigations of mixed phosphate Al0.5Ga0.5PO4, prepared by co-precipitation method followed by annealing at 900 °C for 24 h, it is shown that Al0.5Ga0.5PO4 phase crystallizes in hexagonal form with lattice parameter a=0.491(2) and c=1.106(4) nm. This hexagonal phase of Al0.5Ga0.5PO4 is similar to that of pure GaPO4. The 31P MAS NMR spectrum of the mixed phosphate sample consists of five peaks with systematic variation of their chemical shift values and is arising due to existence of P structural units having varying number of the Al3+/Ga3+ cations as the next nearest neighbors in the solid solution. Based on the intensity analysis of the component NMR spectra of Al0.5Ga0.5PO4, it is inferred that the distribution of Al3+ and Ga3+ cations is non-random for the hexagonal Al0.5Ga0.5PO4 sample although XRD patterns showed a well-defined solid solution formation.  相似文献

Eu3+-doped Ca2SnO4 (solid solutions of Ca2−xEu2xSn1−xO4, 0?x?0.3) and Eu3+ and Y3+-codoped Ca2SnO4 (Ca1.8Y0.2Eu0.2Sn0.8O4) were prepared by solid-state reaction at 1400 °C in air. Rietveld analysis of the X-ray powder diffraction patterns revealed that Eu3+ replaced Ca2+ and Sn4+ in Eu3+-doped Ca2SnO4, and that Eu3+ replaced Ca2+ and Y3+ replaced Sn4+ in Ca1.8Y0.2Eu0.2Sn0.8O4. Red luminescence at 616 nm due to the electric dipole transition 5Do7F2 was observed in the photoluminescence (PL) spectra of Ca2−xEu2xSn1−xO4 and Ca1.8Y0.2Eu0.2Sn0.8O4 at room temperature. The maximum PL intensity in the solid solutions of Ca2−xEu2xSn1−xO4 was obtained for x=0.1. The PL intensity of Ca1.8Y0.2Eu0.2Sn0.8O4 was 1.26 times greater than that of Ca2−xEu2xSn1−xO4 with x=0.1.  相似文献

Two solid phase transitions of [Cd(H2O)6](BF4)2 occurring on heating at TC2=183.3 K and TC1=325.3 K, with 2 K and 5 K hysteresis, respectively, were detected by differential scanning calorimetry (DSC). High value of entropy changes indicated large orientational disorder of the high temperature and intermediate phase. Nuclear magnetic resonance (1H NMR and 19F NMR) relaxation measurements revealed that the phase transitions at TC1 and TC2 were associated with a drastic and small change, respectively, of the both spin-lattice relaxation times: T1(1H) and T1(19F). These relaxation processes were connected with the “tumbling” motions of the [Cd(H2O)6]2+, reorientational motions of the H2O ligands, and with the iso- and anisotropic reorientation of the BF4 anions. The cross-relaxation effect was observed in phase III. The line width and the second moment of the 1H and 19F NMR line measurements revealed that the H2O reorientate in all three phases of the title compound. On heating the onset of the reorientation of 3 H2O in the [Cd(H2O)6]+2, around the three-fold symmetry axis of these octahedron, causes the isotropic reorientation of the whole cation. The BF4 reorientate isotropically in the phases I and II, but in the phase III they perform slow reorientation only about three- or two-fold axes. A small distortion in the structure of BF4 as well as of [Cd(H2O)6]2+ is postulated. The temperature dependence of the bandwidth of the O-H stretching mode measured by Fourier transform middle infrared spectroscopy (FT-MIR) indicated that the activation energy for the reorientation of the H2O did not change much at the TC2 phase transition.  相似文献

Na2Mn2(1 − x)Cd2xFe(PO4)3 (0 ≤ x ≤ 1) phosphates were prepared by solid state reaction and characterized by powder X-ray diffraction, magnetic susceptibility and Mössbauer spectroscopy. The X-ray diffraction patterns indicated the formation of a continuous solid solution which crystallizes in the alluaudite structural type characterized by the general formula X(2)X(1)M(1)M(2)2(PO4)3. The cation distribution, deduced from a structure refinement of the x = 0, 0.5 and 1 compositions, is ordered in the X(2) sites and disordered in the remaining X(1), M(1) and M(2) sites. The magnetic susceptibility study revealed an antiferromagnetic behaviour of the studied compounds. The 57Fe Mössbauer spectroscopy confirmed the structural results and proved the exclusive presence of Fe3+ ions.  相似文献

Ca2FeAl1−xMgxO5 (x=0, 0.05 and 0.1) compounds adopting the brownmillerite-type structure were prepared by a self-combustion route using two different fuels. Characterisation was performed using X-ray powder diffraction, Mössbauer spectroscopy, magnetisation measurements, chemical analysis, scanning electron microscopy and 4-point dc conductivity measurements. Global results indicate that the solubility limit was reached for x=0.1. An antiferromagnetic behaviour was detected for all studied compositions, with magnetic ordering temperatures of 340 and 290 K for x=0 and 0.05, respectively. Mg doping increases the number of iron cations in tetrahedral sites, which induces magnetisation enhancement at low temperatures through the coupling between octahedral iron cations in different octahedral planes. The compounds exhibit semiconductor behaviour and Mg2+ doping yields a significant enhancement of the total conductivity, which can be essentially attributed to the presence of Fe4+ ions.  相似文献

With various concentrations of CaCl2 and MgCl2 aqueous solution below 1.0 mol/l, Raman spectra of water in the OH stretch region of 2500-4000 cm−1 and 17O NMR chemical shift of water are measured and the Raman spectra are deconvoluted. Both Raman spectra and 17O NMR of water show that the effect of Ca2+ on water structure is stronger than that of Mg2+. CaCl2 and MgCl2 destroy four hydrogen bonded water structure, but promote median water cluster size.  相似文献
