NaBi(MoO4)2 has been characterized by single-crystal and powder X-ray diffraction in the temperature and pressure ranges 13-297 K and 0-25 GPa, respectively. The domain structure developing below proves that NaBi(MoO4)2 undergoes a ferroelastic phase transition associated with tetragonal I41/a to monoclinic I2/a symmetry change. The character of the unit cell evolution as a function of temperature indicates a continuous transition with the spontaneous strain as an order parameter. The structural distortion, due to small displacements of Bi3+ and Na+ ions, develops slowly. Therefore the overall changes, as measured in single-crystal diffraction at 110 and 13 K, appear to be subtle. High-pressure powder X-ray diffraction shows that the elastic behaviour is anisotropic, the linear compressibility along the a- and c-axes of the tetragonal unit cell being βa=2.75(10)×10-3 and , respectively. The cell contraction, stronger along the c-axis, causes the distances between the MoO4 layers to be shortened. Consequently, the cation migration in the channels formed by MoO4 tetrahedra becomes hindered, and any symmetry lowering phase transition is not observed up to 25 GPa. Enthalpies of solution of TiCl4(l) in aqueous perchloric acid have been measured in an isothermal calorimeter at T = 298.15 K at ionic strengths of (1.964, 3.002, and 4.062) mol · kg−1. The enthalpies of dilution have been measured for aqueous Li2B4O7 solutions from 0.0212 to 2.1530 mol kg−1 at 298.15 K. The relative apparent molar enthalpies, L?, and relative partial molar enthalpies of the solvent and solute, and were calculated. The thermodynamic properties of the complex aqueous solutions were represented with a modified Pitzer ion-interaction model.  相似文献

Different collision gases (H2, He and premixed 7% H2 in He) used in the hexapole collision cell of an inductively coupled plasma-mass spectrometer (ICP-MS) were compared, and the gas-flow rates were optimized for the determination of arsenic (), iron () and selenium (). The study showed that the argon-based interferences at mass-to-charge ratios (m/z) of 56, 75 and 80 can be overcome by the optimized gas flows (7.5 ml min−1 premixed 7% H2 in He and 2 ml min−1 H2) in the hexapole collision cell. Detection limits of 15.5 ng l−1 for iron () and 29 ng l−1 for selenium () in 2% (v/v) HNO3 were obtained under optimized collision cell conditions. The detection limit for arsenic () obtained in difficult hydrochloride acid matrix (5% HCl (v/v)) was 153 ng l−1. The accuracy of the optimized method was confirmed by analyzing two moss reference materials. The results obtained by ICP-MS for arsenic, selenium and iron from both moss reference samples were, in most cases, in good agreement with the certified values.  相似文献

Capillary electrophoresis dynamic reaction cell™ inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (CE-DRC-ICP-MS) for the determination of sulfur-containing amino acids is described. The sulfur-containing amino acids studied include l-cysteine, l-cystine, dl-homocystine and l-methionine. The species studied were well separated using a 70 cm length×75 μm i.d. fused silica capillary while the applied voltage was set at +22 kV and a 10 mmol l−1 disodium tetraborate buffer (pH 9.8) containing 0.1 mmol l−1 EDTA and 0.5 mmol l−1 Triton X-100 was used as the electrophoretic buffer. The sulfur-selective electropherogram was determined at m/z 48 as by using its reaction with O2 in the reaction cell. The method avoided the effect of polyatomic isobaric interferences at m/z 32 caused by and on by detecting as the oxide ion at m/z 48, which is less interfered. The detection limit of various species studied was in the range of 0.047-0.058 μg S ml−1, which corresponded to the absolute detection limit of 1.3-1.6 pg S based on the injection volume of 27 nl. We determined the concentrations of selected sulfur-containing amino acids in urine and nutritive complement samples. The recovery was in the range of 92-128% for various species.  相似文献

A ferroelectric crystal (C3N2H5)5Sb2Br11 has been synthesized. The single crystal X-ray diffraction studies (at 300, 155, 138 and 121 K) show that it is built up of discrete corner-sharing bioctahedra and highly disordered imidazolium cations. The room temperature crystal structure has been determined as monoclinic, space group, P21/n with: , and and β=96.19°. The crystal undergoes three solid-solid phase transitions: ) discontinuous, continuous and discontinuous. The dielectric and pyroelectric measurements allow us to characterize the low temperature phases III and IV as ferroelectric with the Curie point at 145 K and the saturated spontaneous polarization value of the order of along the a-axis (135 K). The ferroelectric phase transition mechanism at 145 K is due to the dynamics of imidazolium cations.  相似文献

This contributions shows with a series of ab initio MP2 and DFT (BP86 and B3-LYP) computations with large basis sets up to cc-pVQZ quality that the literature value of the standard enthalpy of depolymerization of Sb4F20(g) to give SbF5(g) (+18.5 kJ mol−1) [J. Fawcett, J.H. Holloway, R.D. Peacock, D.R. Russell, J. Fluorine Chem. 20 (1982) 9] is by about 50 kJ mol−1 in error and that the correct value of (Sb4F20(g)) is +68 ± 10 kJ mol−1. We assign , , and values for SbnF5n with n = 2-4 and compare the results to available experimental gas phase data. Especially the MP2/TZVPP values obtained in an indirect procedure that rely on isodesmic reactions or the highly accurate compound methods G2 and CBS-Q are in excellent agreement with the experimental data, and reproduce also the fine experimental details at temperatures of 423 and 498 K. With these data and the additional calculation of [SbnF5n+1] (n = 1-4), we then assessed the fluoride ion affinities (FIAs) of SbnF5n(g), nSbF5(g), nSbF5(l) and the standard enthalpies of formation of SbnF5n(g) and [SbnF5n+1](g): FIA(SbnF5n(g)) = 514 (n = 1), 559 (n = 2), 572 (n = 3) and 580 (n = 4) kJ mol−1; FIA(nSbF5(g)) = 667 (n = 2), 767 (n = 3) and 855 (n = 4) kJ mol−1; FIA(nSbF5(l)) = 434 (n = 1), 506 (n = 2), 528 (n = 3) and 534 (n = 4) kJ mol−1. Error bars are approximately ±10 kJ mol−1. Also the related Gibbs energies were derived. ΔfH°([SbnF5n+1](g)) = −2064 ± 18 (n = 1), −3516 ± 25 (n = 2), −4919 ± 31 (n = 3) and −6305 ± 36 (n = 4) kJ mol−1.  相似文献

The crystal structures of three new intermetallic ternary compounds in the LnNiSb3 (Ln=Pr, Nd and Sm) family have been characterized by single crystal X-ray diffraction. PrNiSb3, NdNiSb3 and SmNiSb3 all crystallize in an orthorhombic space group, Pbcm (No. 57), Z=12, with , , , and ; , , , and ; and , , , and , for Ln=Pr, Nd and Sm, respectively. These compounds consist of rare-earth atoms located above and below layers of nearly square, buckled Sb nets, along with layers of highly distorted edge- and face-sharing NiSb6 octahedra. Resistivity data indicate metallic behavior for all three compounds. Magnetization measurements show antiferromagnetic behavior with (PrNiSb3), 4.6 K (NdNiSb3), and 2.9 K (SmNiSb3). Effective moments of 3.62 μB, 3.90 μB and 0.80 μB are found for PrNiSb3, NdNiSb3 and SmNiSb3, respectively, and are consistent with Pr3+ (f 2), Nd3+ (f 3), and Sm3+ (f 4).  相似文献

Chemosensors 5-7 possessing a quaternary ammonium cation (for electrostatic interactions) and an N-H group(s) (for H-bonding) as recognition sites and an anthracene-9,10-dione as both a chromogenic and fluorescent moiety exhibit absorption and emission changes with fluoride ions only. No significant response to other anions such as Cl, Br, I, , CH3COO, , and is observed. The dual emission at λmax 580 nm (free 5/6) and λmax 510 and 540 nm (5/6 + F) in chemosensors 5 and 6 enables ratiometric analysis of fluoride ions.  相似文献

The title compounds were prepared from the elements in the stoichiometric ratio at 800 °C under exclusion of air. Tl6Si2Te6 crystallizes in the space group P1¯, isostructural with Tl6Ge2Te6, with , , , α=89.158(2)°, β=96.544(2)°, γ=100.685(2)°, (Z=2). Its structure is composed of dimeric [Si2Te6]6− units with a Si-Si single bond, while the Tl atoms are irregularly coordinated by five to six Te atoms. Numerous weakly bonding Tl-Tl contacts exist. Both title compounds are black semiconductors with small band gaps, calculated to be 0.9 eV for Tl6Si2Te6 and 0.5 eV for Tl6Ge2Te6. The Seebeck coefficients are +65 μV K−1 in case of Tl6Si2Te6 and +150 μV K−1 in case of Tl6Ge2Te6 at 300 K, and the electrical conductivities are 5.5 and 3 Ω−1 cm−1, respectively.  相似文献

A novel complex [Ba(5-OH-BDC)(H2O)3] [5-OH-H2BDC = 5-hydroxyisophtalic acid] was synthesized and characterized by X-ray crystallography. The complex is Monoclinic P21/c, a = 11.1069(4), b = 14.8192(6), c = 6.5005(2) Å, β = 103.465(3)° and Z = 4, which exhibits a three-dimensional framework formed by linkage of adjacent two-dimensional (6, 3) layers via intermolecular hydrogen bonds. The title complex has been studied by IR spectrum and TG-DTG. The constant-volume combustion energy of the complex, ΔcU, was determined as being (−3210.45 ± 1.41) kJ mol−1 by a precise rotating-bomb calorimeter at 298.15 K. The standard enthalpy of combustion, , and the standard enthalpy of formation, , were calculated as being (−3207.97 ± 1.41) and (−1922.80 ± 1.76) kJ mol−1, respectively. A calculation model for determining the specific heat capacity of the complex with an improved RD496-III microcalorimeter is also derived. The specific heat capacity of the complex was (6158.387 ± 0.187) J mol−1 K−1.  相似文献

Densities of LiCl, NaCl, KCl, and CsCl in normal and heavy water solutions have been measured using a vibrating-tube densitometer with (1-2) · 10−6 precision at T = (288.15, 298.15, and 308.15) K over a wide concentration range from (0.1 to 5) molal, m. Solvent isotope effects (IE) on apparent molar volumes, as well as both on solute- and solvent-partial molar volumes were evaluated to establish their trend with cationic size in a systematic way. With the exception of the LiCl, both the “normal” standard IEs, , and the “inverse” excess IEs of the solutes, , increase linearly with the electrostriction effect of the cations (1/rion), while with increasing temperature and/or concentration, the excess effects become almost the same.In contrast to the solute excess IEs, which show linear m1/2-dependence over the whole concentration range, except for LiCl, the “inverse” excess IEs of the solvent, , hardly change over the lower concentration range (, m ? 1). However, with further increase of the concentration, these IEs significantly decrease. Individual ionic standard and excess volume contributions are derived and the results are discussed in terms of structural concepts of ionic hydration.  相似文献

Inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (ICP-MS) with a time-of-flight (TOF) analyser was used for the determination of chromium, cadmium and lead in six food-packaging materials (paper and paper board). The samples (0.20-0.25 g) were digested in concentrated nitric acid in a high pressure microwave oven at 180 °C within 15 min. Two different plasma conditions were applied: cool plasma conditions (0.76 kW; 0.85, 0.89 and 15.5 l min−1 nebuliser, auxiliary and plasma gas flow rate, respectively) for the determination of chromium and normal plasma conditions (1.21 kW; 0.66, 0.68 and 13.6 l min−1 nebuliser, auxiliary and plasma gas flow rate, respectively) for the determination of cadmium and lead. External calibration was used in combination with rhodium (40 ng g−1) as an internal standard. The detection limits (DL = 3S.D./sensitivity) under the conditions used corresponded to 0.01 ng g−1 (), 0.06 ng g−1 (), 0.07 ng g−1 (), 0.03 ng g−1 () and 0.02 ng g−1 ( and ). The precision (R.S.D.) for six replicate determinations (10 s integration time) of 1 and 10 ng g−1 of each analyte varied from 0.72% () to 4.43% (). The contents of chromium, cadmium and lead in the examined materials were evaluated using the signals of , and . They were in the range: 0.25-0.50 μg g−1 for Cr, not detected (nd) to 0.12 μg g−1 for Cd and 0.28-0.35 μg g−1 for Pb in paper and 0.50-0.64 μg g−1 for Cr, nd to 0.09 μg g−1 for Cd and 0.67-0.99 μg g−1 for Pb in paper board.  相似文献

A new ternary phase, Mn4Ir7−xMnxGe6 (0?x?1.3), was studied by X-ray and neutron powder diffraction and SQUID magnetometry. The crystal structure is cubic, of the U4Re7Si6 type, space group , Z=2, with the lattice parameter at 295 K. Within the limited range of homogeneity small variations of the composition yield dramatic changes of the magnetic structure. For x=0 long-range antiferromagnetic order is formed below the transition temperature 228 K, with large magnetic moments on Mn, 4.11(9) μB at 10 K, in a magnetic unit cell , cM=2aC. In contrast, for x=1.3 spin glass behavior is observed below 90 K. The Mn atoms form an ideal cubic framework, on which geometric frustration of competing nearest and next nearest neighbor antiferromagnetic interactions is suggested to explain the composition sensitive magnetic properties. A TiNiSi-type phase, IrMnGe, is found in samples of 1:1:1 composition quenched from the melt.  相似文献

A second form of the literature-known layered weak ferromagnet Fe[(CH3PO3)(H2O)] has been isolated. The crystal structure determination of this new form (2) has been carried out at T=300, 200 and 130 K. It crystallizes in the orthorhombic space group Pmn21: a=5.7177(11), b=8.8093(18), , while form (1) crystallizes in the space group Pna21: a=17.58(2), b=4.814(1), . Mössbauer spectroscopy on form (2) has been performed in the temperature range 4-300 K; and, at , a drastic change in the quadrupole splitting (ΔE) and a broadening of the doublet components is noticed. But surprisingly, on cooling the crystal, no structural change is observed, which could account for the increase in ΔE. Below , 57Fe spectra transform into hyperfine splitting patterns which reveal a magnetically ordered state in agreement with the results of earlier magnetic susceptibility studies.  相似文献

In this paper we investigated the interactions between dioxouranium(VI) and oxalate using (H+-glass electrode) potentiometry and titration calorimetry. Potentiometric measurements were carried out in NaCl aqueous solutions and at T = 25 °C in a wide range of experimental conditions (concentrations, ligand/metal molar ratio, pH, titrants) at low ionic strength values (I ≤ 0.090 mol L−1, without supporting electrolyte) and at I = 1.0 mol L−1; different procedures were employed for the acquisition of experimental data and careful analysis of these data performed. In all cases the speciation model that best fits experimental data takes into account the formation of the binary mononuclear species UO2(ox)0, UO2(ox)22−, UO2(ox)34− widely reported in literature, the ternary hydroxyl mononuclear species UO2(ox)OH, UO2(ox)(OH)22−, UO2(ox)2OH3−, UO2(ox)3OH5−, the protonated ternary mononuclear species UO2(ox)3H3− and the binuclear species (UO2)2(ox)56−.Calorimetric measurements were carried out following similar procedures and in the same experimental conditions as employed for the potentiometric measurements at I = 1.0 mol L−1 in NaCl. The stability of UO22+-oxalate2− complexes is fairly high and their main contribution to stability is entropic in nature. Some linear empirical relationships were found which make it possible to calculate (i) the contribution of a single bond: and ; (ii) chelate stabilisation per ring: and and (iii) the mean stability of negatively charged Na+-ion pair complexes: logTK = (0.46 ± 0.02)·|z| (z = charge of complex species), ΔG° = −(2.60 ± 0.1)·|z| kJ mol−1 and TΔS° = 2.5 ± 0.5 kJ mol−1. Both potentiometric and calorimetric results provide evidence of the penta-coordination of the species UO2(ox)34−. SIT parameters were calculated from the data at I = 0 and I = 1.02 mol kg−1. Comparisons are made with literature data. An insoluble dioxouranium(VI) ternary complex was synthesised (at I = 1.0 mol L−1 in NaCl) and characterised by thermoanalysis and elemental analysis.  相似文献
