In 1980, J. Esterle proved the Wiener theorem forL 1 (—) by a completely new method using analytic semigroup techniques. We show here how to extend the method in two different ways. First, it is shown that spectral synthesis for points on the real line is also provided by analytic semigroup techniques. We define a prime ΓM-module for a Γ-ringM. It is shown that a subsetP ofM is a prime ideal ofM if and only ifP is the annihilator of some prime ΓM-moduleG. s-prime ideals ofM were defined by the first author. We defines-modules ofM, analogous to a concept defined by De Wet for rings. It is shown that a subsetQ ofM is ans-prime ideal ofM if and only ifQ is the annihilator of somes-moduleG ofM. Relationships between prime ΓM-modules and primeR-modules are established, whereR is the right operator ring ofM. Similar results are obtained fors-modules.  相似文献

It has been proved that, ifR is a near-ring with no non-zero nilpotent two-sidedR-subsets and if the annihilator of any non-zero ideal is contained in some maximal annihilator, thenR is a subdirect sum of strictly prime near-rings. Moreover, ifR is a near-ring with no non-zero nilpotent two-sidedR-subsets and satisfying a.c.c. or d.c.c. on annihilating ideals of the form Ann (Q), whereQ is an ideal ofR, thenR is a finite subdirect sum of strictly prime near-rings. It is also proved that, ifR is a regular and right duo near-ring that satisfies a.c.c. The operator of double differentiation perturbed by the composition of a Volterra convolution operator and the differentiation one on a finite interval with Dirichlet boundary conditions is considered. It is proved that the standard asymptotics is necessary and sufficient for an arbitrary sequence of complex numbers to be the spectrum of such an operator, which is determined uniquely. Let I be a tiling of the plane such that for every tile T of I there correspond a tile T of I (not necessarily unique) and an integer k(T, T) (depending on T and T), k(T, T)>2, such that T meets T in k(T, T) connected components. Tiles T and T satisfying this condition are called associated tiles in I. Various properties concerning I and its singular points are obtained. First, it is not possible that every tile in I have a unique associated tile. In fact, there exist infinite families of tiles {F} {F n:n1} such that F is the unique associated tile for every F n. We study a piecewise linear system approximating the behaviour of a switched DC/DC converter. We give conditions for a unique limit cycle in our different cases and give examples of complicated phenomena that might occur. Throughout this paper D denotes a division ring and V a left vector space over D. The finitary general linear group FGL(V) or FA AutDV over V is the subgroup of AutDV of D-automorphisms g of V such that [V,g] = V(g-l) has finite (left) dimension over D. By a finitary skew linear group we mean any subgroup G of FGL(V) for any D and V. Such a G is irreducible if V is irreducible as D-G (bi)module and is primitive if whenever V = ⊕ω ? ΩVomega as D-module, where for all g?G and ω?Ω, Vωg = Vω for some ω?Ω, we have |Ω| = 1. In [4] we showed that a primitive irreducible finitary skew linear group is finite dimensional if it is hyper locally nilpotent (that is radical in the sense of Kuros) and sometimes if it is locally soluble. We prove a form of generalized Vitali-Hahn-Saks theorem saying that relative σ(bvca(Σ, X*), B(Σ, X))-sequential compactness in bvca(Σ, X*) implies uniform countable additivity. We derive that if X reflexive, then every relatively σ(B(Σ, X)*, B(Σ, X))-sequentially compact subset of B(Σ, X)c~ (= the σ-order continuous dual of B(Σ, X)) is relatively σ(B(Σ, X)*, B(Σ, X)**)-sequentially compact. As a consequence, we obtain a Grothendieck type theorem saying that σ(B(Σ, X)*, B(Σ, X))-convergent sequences in B(Σ, X)c~ are σ(B(Σ, X)*, B(Σ, X)**)-convergent.  相似文献

A ring R with identity is called strongly clean if every element of R is the sum of an idempotent and a unit that commute with each other. For a commutative local ring R and for an arbitrary integer n?2, the paper deals with the question whether the strongly clean property of Mn(R[[x]]), , and Mn(RC2) follows from the strongly clean property of Mn(R). We study Sturm–Liouville differential operators on noncompact graphs without cycles (i.e., on trees) with standard matching conditions in internal vertices. First we establish properties of the spectral characteristics and then we investigate the inverse problem of recovering the operator from the so-called Weyl vector.
