We report measurements of the properties of the D(+)(sJ)(2317) and D(+)(sJ)(2457) resonances produced in continuum e(+)e(-) annihilation near sqrt[s]=10.6 GeV. The analysis is based on an 86.9 fb(-1) data sample collected with the Belle detector at KEKB. We determine the masses to be M(D(+)(sJ)(2317))=2317.2+/-0.5(stat)+/-0.9(syst) MeV/c(2) and M(D(+)(sJ)(2457))=2456.5+/-1.3(stat)+/-1.3(syst) MeV/c(2). We observe the radiative decay mode D(+)(sJ)(2457)-->D(+)(s)gamma and the dipion decay mode D(+)(sJ)(2457)-->D(+)(s)pi(+)pi(-) and determine their branching fractions. No corresponding decays are observed for the D(sJ)(2317) state. These results are consistent with the spin-parity assignments of 0(+) for the D(sJ)(2317) and 1(+) for the D(sJ)(2457). 相似文献

We report the first observation of a charm-strange meson D(+)(sJ)(2632) at a mass of 2632.5+/-1.7 MeV/c(2) in data from SELEX, the charm hadro-production experiment E781 at Fermilab. This state is seen in two decay modes, D(+)(s)eta and D0K+. In the D(+)(s)eta decay mode we observe a peak with 101 events over a combinatoric background of 54.9 events at a mass of 2635.4+/-3.3 MeV/c(2). There is a corresponding peak of 21 events over a background of 6.9 at 2631.5+/-2.0 MeV/c(2) in the decay mode D0K+. The decay width of this state is <17 MeV/c(2) at 90% confidence level. The relative branching ratio Gamma(D0K+)/Gamma(D(+)(s)eta) is 0.14+/-0.06. The mechanism that keeps this state narrow is unclear. Its decay pattern is also unusual, being dominated by the D(+)(s)eta decay mode. 相似文献

The decays B0-->D+sJK- and B0-->D-sJpi+ are studied for the first time. A significant signal is observed in the B0-->D*sJ(2317)+K- decay channel with B(B0-->D*sJ(2317)+K-) x B(D*sJ(2317)+-->D+spi0)=(5.3(+1.5)(-1.3)+/-0.7+/-1.4) x 10(-5). No signals are observed in the B0-->D*sJ(2317)-pi+, B0-->DsJ(2460)+K-, and B 0-->DsJ(2460)-pi+ decay modes, and upper limits are obtained. The analysis is based on a data set of 140 fb(-1) collected by the Belle experiment at the asymmetric e+e- collider KEKB. 相似文献

We report a study of D(*)(sJ)(2317)(+) and D(sJ)(2460)(+) meson production in B decays. We observe the decays B+-->D((*)+)(sJ)D ((*)0) and B0-->D((*)+)(sJ)D((*)-) with the subsequent decays D(*)(sJ)(2317)(+)-->D(+)(s)pi(0), D(sJ)(2460)(+)-->D(+)(s)gamma, and D(sJ)(2460)(+)-->D(*+)(s)pi(0). Based on a data sample of 122.1 x 10(6) BB pairs collected with the BABAR detector at the PEP-II B factory, we obtain branching fractions for these modes, including the previously unseen decays B-->D((*)+)(sJ)D(*). In addition, we perform an angular analysis of D(sJ)(2460)(+)-->D(+)(s)gamma decays to test the different D(sJ)(2460)(+) spin hypotheses. 相似文献

Using Manton's action we carry out a Monte Carlo variational calculation of the SU(2) glueball spectrum. We find a scaling window for the 0+ state, but no scaling for 1?, 2+, 2? and 3+ states. The 0+ result is consistent with universality. 相似文献

We report the first observation of a B meson decay that is not accessible by a direct spectator process. The channel B(0)-->D(+)(s)K- is found in a sample of 85 x 10(6) BB; events, collected with the Belle detector at KEKB, with a branching fraction B(B(0)-->D(+)(s)K-)=(4.6(+1.2)(-1.1)+/-1.3) x 10(-5). We also obtain evidence for the B0-->D(+)(s)pi(-) decay with branching fraction B(B0-->D(+)(s)pi(-))=(2.4(+1.0)(-0.8)+/-0.7) x 10(-5). This value may be used to extract a model-dependent value of |V(ub)|. 相似文献

Using essentially the Heine and Jones model of the band structure for diamond-type semiconductors and a 3-dimensional surface state secular equation, we have calculated the bands of surface states for the (100), (110) and (111) orientations of the surface plane of ideal Si. Our bands for the (110) surface are very similar to those obtained by Jones. Based on these bands of surface states, we can explain reasonably both optical and electrical measurements on the (111) surface. 相似文献

With the tree-level improved 4d SU(2) lattice gauge theory we carry out a Monte Carlo calculation of the spectrum. We find a scaling window for the 0+ state, leading to m(0+) ≈ 53 ΛTIL. Results for the 2+ state are somewhat inconclusive but also consistent with scaling. 相似文献

We report evidence for the decays B0-->D(+)(s)pi(-) and B0-->D(-)(s)K+ and the results of a search for B0-->D(*+)(s)pi(-) and B0-->D(*-)(s)K+ in a sample of 84 x 10(6) upsilon(4S) decays into BB pairs collected with the BABAR detector at the PEP-II asymmetric-energy e(+)e(-) storage ring. We measure the branching fractions B(B0-->D(+)(s)pi(-))=[3.2+/-0.9(stat)+/-1.0(syst)] x 10(-5) and B(B0-->D(-)(s)K+)=[3.2+/-1.0(stat)+/-1.0(syst)] x 10(-5). We also set 90% C.L. limits B(B0-->D(*+)(s)pi(-))<4.1 x 10(-5) and B(B0-->D(*-)(s)K+)<2.5 x 10(-5). 相似文献

We use data collected by the CLEO III detector at the Cornell Electron Storage Ring to measure the inclusive yields of D(s) mesons as B(Y(5S) --> D(s)X) = (44-7 +/- 4.2 +/- 9.9)% and B(Y(4S) --> D(s)X) = (18.1 +/- 0.5 +/- 2.8)%. From these measurements, we make a model dependent estimate of the ratio of B(s)*B(s)* to the total bb quark pair production of (16.0 +/- 2.6 +/- 5.8)% at the Y(5S) energy. 相似文献

Tight—binding calculation of the electronic states of bulk—terminated GaAs(311)A and B surfaces 下载免费PDF全文
We have carried out theoretical investigations on the electronic structure of GaAs(311)A and GaAs(311)B surfaces. The bulk electronic structure of GaAs has been described by the second-neighbour tight-binding formalism and the surface electronic structure was evaluated via an analytic Green function method. First, we present the surface band structure together with the projected bulk band of both Ga-terminated and As-terminated for GaAs(311)A and GaAs(311)B surfaces, respectively. In each case, the number of surface states is determined, and the localized surface features and orbital properties of these surface states along Γ-Y-S-X-Γ high symmetry lines of the surface Brillouin zone are discussed. For the Ga-terminated GaAs(311)A (1×1) surface, we have tested two possible structure models, i.e. "the bridge site" and "the hollow site" models. In comparison with the angle-resolved photoelectron spectroscopy studied recently, the results have shown that the surface electronic states of the hollow site model are in good agreement with the experiments, whereas those of the bridge site model are not. So we have concluded that the hollow site model is favourable for the Ga-terminated GaAs(311) (1×1) surface and the bridge site model should be excluded. 相似文献
